Thanks for the amazing response to this story. It's a lot of fun. I'm glad everyone is enjoying the twists and turns. Season 1 can be very fun to play with. Enjoy this latest and keep reviewing! Here are individual responses to reviews:
Ghostwriter: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yep, Regina will end up regretting this probably. :)
Jennifer Baratta: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I know, Regina is hard to take in this. ;)
Sammii16: I know, she is. Glad you enjoyed it!
JDHReaderWriter137: Yeah, it's a bit of a whiplash when I'm writing Regina, because I have to write her so differently in each story. It's fun and keeps me on my toes though. Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, even I can't wait for Narcissa to go down.
210: Yes, Emma's been arrested. Didn't want to do it, but decided to go with this twist. Emma wants to believe they won't let her down. She's on the brink of being a believer. Glad you enjoyed it!
Grace5231973: Yeah, hopefully Regina's mirth won't last long. Glad you're enjoying!
Number Ten: I know, I prefer Regina from FYA too. It's tough writing her here. I hate that Emma got arrested too, but I'm liking Snow's bond with Merryweather too. Yeah, I looked for a last name and there isn't one so I had to make one up. At least Neal knew it or at least whatever fake last name Tamara was probably using. I hope he knew it in the show at least. Otherwise...that is pretty sketchy. Glad you're enjoying. :)
Sexystarwarslover: I know, that was a rough scene. David didn't want to do it, but he knew if he didn't that he would be shut out of the investigation and have less of a chance in proving Emma's innocence. Yep, the dislike of pink was a giveaway. Solana is Merryweather. Yep, she's an attorney, which is going to come in handy. I know, I can't wait to see Solana go up against Regina. Yep, stuff about Narcissa isn't adding up. Yeah, Marryweather is Snow's honorary Aunt. Yep, Regina is smug, thinking she's going to win. For now. Yeah, he knows she was framed and now has to prove it. Yep, she had a flash. Emma is very close to believing. Glad you're enjoying! :)
AnonSnowing: It probably could be the same bakery since we don't know much about it. As for the owner, think pink and you'll get it. Yep, Solana is an attorney and that will come in handy. Yeah, I can't wait for the curse to break too. Yeah, Neal realizes that he didn't know much about a woman he supposedly loved. Nope, Blue is unhappy. Yep, it's up to David to prove that Emma is innocent. I know, that was a heart wrenching moment for Snowing. Glad you enjoyed it!

Chapter 30: Evil Strikes
David held her, as she tried to compose herself after breaking down.
"She's doing it again…" Snow whispered.
"I know...but I won't let her get away with it," he promised, as he held her beautiful face in his hands. She gave him a watery smile.
"I just want us to be a family...why is that so hard?" she squeaked, as Emma watched them with fascination.
"I don't know...I wish I knew. All we have ever wanted is a family. Maybe this is my fault," he said. She looked at him in confusion.
"Why would you say that?" she asked. He shrugged.
"There was a time that you wanted to leave the Kingdom behind...maybe we should have. Maybe we should have walked away," he replied. She shook her head.
"No...she would have hunted us down, no matter what we did," Snow insisted.
"She's right," Emma chimed in and they looked at her in surprise.
"Look at her face," she added and they glanced at Regina, who was giving a glowing interview to Sidney merely ten feet away. She was smug and filled with glee.
"She's loving this...this is like Christmas morning for her. She hates my guts and yours. Sounds like if you had walked away, she would have gotten bored with no one to make miserable but herself. She would have tracked you...us down," Emma replied.
"She's right," Snow said, as she sobered a bit.
"I know her best and she wasn't always like this. But she is now...and she wants my misery," she added.
"I'll be going to visit the district attorney on my way home. I'm sure that he'll want to move this case along to trial, though you could save the taxpayers some money and plead guilty, Ms. Swan," Regina said.
"Go to hell," Emma replied. Regina smirked.
"You have what you want, now just get out! In Emma's place, I'm Sheriff and I have a case to investigate," David snapped. The Mayor smirked again.
"You're only Sheriff as long as I let you be. I think I need to bring in someone else to run this investigation, because you're unqualified, not to mention too close to this," Regina said.
"I'm more than qualified...and you know it. As for being too close, I don't know why you would say that. I mean, it's not like I'm related to her or anything, right?" David asked. Regina opened her mouth to protest, but then closed it again, pursing her lips.
"I mean, unless you believe Henry's book, but that can't be, because you called your own son, what was the word you used? Oh yeah...delusional, which is a pretty crappy thing to call your own son, but I guess no one's really surprised by your ability to be cruel," David said.
"That is enough, Deputy!" she shouted.
"One more word and I swear I'll fire you," Regina threatened.
"No, you won't…" another voice said and Snow looked surprised to see her new friend there.
"Who the hell are you?" Regina demanded to know.
"Solana...what are you doing here?" Snow asked, as the other woman came up to them.
"I heard and figured my services could be of use and to answer your question, Mayor Mills, I am Solana Storm, Attorney at law," she said, handing her a card.
"You're representing Miss Swan?" Regina asked skeptically.
"Mmmhmm...and if you think you can be a bitch, then you ain't seen nothing yet. Now go...I need to converse with my clients and don't you be threatening to fire our fine
acting Sheriff, or I'll sue you for wrongful termination," Solana warned. Regina clenched her teeth and stormed off in a huff.
"You're really going to represent Emma?" Snow asked, as the other woman pulled her into a hug.
"Don't you worry, honey…" she said.
"Uh...thanks, but I don't have a ton of money," Emma warned.
"No need...this one's on me too. Injustice just burns me up and there is too much of it going on. Plus…I'd do anything for this family," she said mysteriously, before sitting down at one of the desks to start the paperwork.
"Well...if you're on Mary Margaret and Emma's side, then you have my support and gratitude. Now, I just have to prove that Emma didn't do this," David said.
"Oh, I know you will, handsome. In the meantime, I'll tie up the legal system as much as I can," Solana replied.
"Thank you so much," Snow gushed.
"Where are you going to start?" Emma asked.
"Neal thinks Ms. Blake is lying. She said Tamara would have never chosen to stay here and certainly not for some job in a dress shop. He says she had a really good job and it would have taken something pretty big to get her to leave New York," David replied.
"Well, if she lied before, she's just going to keep lying," Emma said. He nodded.
"Which means I need someone else to see if they can get anything out of her and I think I know who might be perfect for the job," David replied.
"Who?" Snow asked.
"Ruby," he replied.
"Normally I'd agree, baby, but she doesn't have her memories right now," Snow whispered.
"No...but she's still Red, somewhere in there. She'll sniff out the truth if it's there. She just needs a little nudge in the right direction," he said, as he kissed her quickly, before hurrying out to recruit help.
"Oooh honey...I have no idea how you get anything done with that one around," Solana gushed, making Snow giggled.
"Eww…I didn't need to hear that," Emma grumbled, but Snow could only smile cheekily at her new friend.
"Your Honor, in light of the recent charges against Emma Swan, murder charges as it were, I am making a motion to have Emma Swan and Neal Cassidy's custody case thrown out," Albert Spencer said, as he met before the judge.
"I object, Your Honor...Ms. Swan maintains her innocence and unless it is proven otherwise, in a court of law, this should not affect the joint custody case with Mr. Cassidy, who has not been accused of anything," Gold argued.
"Your Honor, Emma Swan is a murderer. Her fingerprints were found on the murder weapon," Spencer argued.
"Of which Ms. Swan gave a plausible explanation for. The investigation is still ongoing," Gold countered. The Judge sighed and put his hand up to silence them.
"I believe in due process and Ms. Swan deserves her day in court to prove her innocence. I am deferring this case until after the conclusion of the investigation or subsequent trial," the Judge ruled. Regina whispered something to Spencer.
"Your Honor, I'd like to request that Emma Swan be denied visitation rights until the conclusion," he said.
"Ms. Swan is no danger to her son, Your Honor," Gold countered.
"Be that as it may, Mr. Gold, she is still accused of a serious crime. I am ruling that her visitation be monitored by Mr. Cassidy and no less than one other party," he said, as he slammed his gavel down. Regina clearly wasn't happy, but Albert raised his hand.
"Not to worry...Ms. Swan will soon be convicted and then we'll get this case tossed," he said.
"Oh, I wouldn't bet on that, Mr. Spencer. My son deserves custody and I will see that he gets it," Mr. Gold said.
"Emma is innocent too...David will prove it," Neal replied.
"Ms. Swan is a murderer and your son, Mr. Gold, has a rap sheet a mile long. I'm not going to rest until I make sure young Henry stays right where he is," Spencer said, as he and Regina walked off.
"What a dick...who is that guy?" Neal asked.
"King George back in our land. He raised David's twin...and nearly had David beheaded for escaping an arranged marriage to be with Snow. And that's just a few of his hits," Gold replied.
"Okay...yeah, we gotta prove that Emma didn't do this," Neal said.
"Regina is most likely behind this, but stabbing Tamara isn't really her style. She once framed Snow for murder and it would seem that she has done the same to Emma," Rumple replied.
"So…Regina killed Snow's father?" Neal asked.
"Not herself...she got someone else to do the deed," Gold replied.
"Who would kill for Regina?" Neal questioned. Gold smirked.
"The same person that killed King Leopold, of course. The man that she met as a Genie and later trapped in her mirror," he replied. Neal's eyes widened.
"Sidney Glass is her mirror?" he asked. Gold nodded.
"The curse returned his human form to him, yes and your former fiancé was found among many broken mirrors," he said.
"I'm gonna tell David," Neal replied, as he hurried off. Gold was quiet in his thoughts for a moment. Sidney Glass was definitely a convenient choice, but something was nagging at Gold in the back of his mind, but he couldn't put his finger on it.
Flashback
Merryweather appeared in a rush of dark blue sparks, as she returned to Pixie Hollow after her visit with Queen Eva and her precious, tiny daughter.
"There you are, Merryweather," Flora called.
"Oh Flora...I have the most wonderful news," she said.
"I'm afraid it must wait...we have a new assignment," Flora replied.
"Oh, you and Fauna will have to go on with this one without me," Merryweather replied.
"What do you mean?" Fauna asked.
"I mean that I already have my assignment. Queen Eva wants me to be little Snow's life. I'm going to be her fairy Godmother," Merryweather said. Flora and Fauna hugged her excitedly.
"Oh, that's wonderful," Fauna said.
"Yes...truly, we know how fond you especially are of little Snow," Flora replied.
"I'm afraid you will be going back to tell Queen Eva that you are unable to be Snow White's fairy Godmother," Reul Ghorm interjected, as she arrived.
"Oh, I will do no such thing!" Merryweather retorted.
"Snow White is my responsibility and as head fairy, I have made my decision," Blue said.
"Flora is still head fairy," Fauna protested. Blue smirked.
"Not anymore, I'm afraid. Queen Clarion has named me the new head fairy and I have requested to look after Snow White...she is very important. The three of you will take a lesser assignment in protecting Briar Rose's daughter when she is born," Blue said.
"I'm not trusting my precious little Snow with the likes of you. You won't protect her...you'll use her! I've seen you use mortals before for your own gain!" Merryweather shouted.
"You will take your new assignment, Merryweather, or I will banish you from Pixie Hollow. Now, go tell Queen Eva that you will not be seeing her or little Snow again...or there will be consequences," Blue ordered.
"You're a disgrace to my color!" Merryweather cried, as she shrank herself and flew back to Misthaven to deliver the horrible news to the Queen.
"Well...is it true? Is she locked up?" Narcissa asked, as Regina came in the back entrance to the store. She smirked.
"She is and I was there for it all. Charming had to arrest his own, precious daughter and Snow went to pieces. It was glorious," Regina said, but then sobered.
"But the Judge didn't toss the case completely. He only postponed it, stating that Neal still has a right to sue for custody," she added. Narcissa smirked.
"Then we still have work to do. We must see that Emma is convicted and sent away if we really want to destroy Snow, but that's not quite enough," she said.
"Then you're going to go after Charming?" Regina asked. Narcissa smirked.
"He's very faithful to her...so I'll need to drug him to get him into my bed, but either way, it will destroy her and emasculate him," she said.
"Perhaps in the short term, but I know them. They have the real deal, as much as I hate admitting it. Their love survived this curse, so much so that they awakened early. Even before, they were irrevocably pulled to each other," Regina replied.
"Then what do you suggest?" Narcissa asked.
"My original suggestion to you was to take them away from here. Do as you please with them. I'm sure you have a dank little cellar somewhere you can lock them up and torture them. It would be the only way to truly separate them, because not even taking her memories and keeping him in a coma worked for me," Regina replied. Narcissa smirked.
"I'm not leaving town, Your Majesty...so you can stop trying to get rid of me," she replied. Regina narrowed her gaze.
"Why do you want to stay here when you have an entire Empire out there?" Regina asked.
"I have my reasons and I'm going to torture my niece right here in her own backyard," Narcissa insisted.
"Fine...just make sure my son doesn't get caught in the crossfire," Regina warned, as she walked out. Narcissa smirked and poured herself a glass of red wine.
"There is a new Queen in town, Regina...you'll soon be dethroned," Narcissa said, as she had decided on a new strategy and looked at the papers she was about to file.
"Mayor Blake...that has a nice ring to it," she mused, as she sipped at her wine.
