Thanks for the amazing response to this story. It's a lot of fun. I'm glad everyone is enjoying the twists and turns. Season 1 can be very fun to play with. Enjoy this latest and keep reviewing! Here are individual responses to reviews:
Grace5231973: Glad you're enjoying!
Number Ten: Yeah, Rumble did something nice for Belle, but his power may diminish under Narcissa. Hopefully, that will help him color in the lines since he will need to work as a team with the Charmings. Yeah, Regina is low right now. She may just get a taste from the town in what she did to Snow. We shall see. Glad you're enjoying!
Sexystarwarslover: Yep, it must be big if they're all going. I'm afraid so, Regina lost. Yep, Narcissa has wasted no time. She's kicking Regina out of the house just out of spite. Regina put up a good front though. Yep, Gold versus Narcissa should be interesting. Snowing is going to the reservation. Yeah, Rumple gave Belle the library, which was very sweet. Yeah, I really like David and Rumple's friendship too. Glad you're enjoying it!
Jennifer Baratta: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Ghostwriter: Yeah, it was very sweet that he gave her the library. Glad you enjoyed it!
AnonSnowing: Yeah, you would think Regina would want it to be broken now so they could tell everyone Narcissa's true history. Yeah, it's true for Regina, but Narcissa is pure evil. Emma is a lot like her Daddy. Belle does love to read and the library will become very useful. You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!

Chapter 49:Face Off, Pt 2
"I got your text, honey," Merryweather said, as she parked next to the squad car and got out, joining them, as they approached the reservation.
"How…how did we not know this was here?" Snow asked, though she knew the answer. Even awake, she had never gone much past the cannery. Her inner cursed self said not to, for it was "dangerous." But she had never really had time to question why that was once she regained her memories, though they had been quite busy since then.
Add to that, the reservation was perfectly isolated. They had their own community and though it appeared to be very poor, they did not leave it very often. Despite its downfalls, it was a safe place for them and familiar.
"The tribe would be wary of the other townsfolk, but it looks like it's one of their own that's stirring up trouble," Merryweather said, as they saw Lucian and Malachi stroll onto the res. Lucian had a smug smirk on his face and Malachi had what they guessed was probably a pretty typical, stony expression for him.
"Back at Gold's shop, before the debate, you explained who Lucian is, but we ran out of time and didn't hear about the other guy," Emma mentioned.
"Yeah…the one that made an aggressive pass at Snow and smells bad," David added. Merryweather stopped for a moment and they turned to her.
"You're right…we didn't get the chance and I need to tell you about him first," she said, as Gold and Belle arrived.
"The smell…it's pheromones, isn't it?" Gold guessed.
"Yes," Merryweather answered.
"But don't pheromones attract?" Emma asked.
"In most cases, honey…but your mother is apparently the exception, though we shouldn't be surprised," Merryweather answered.
"I don't think I understand," Snow said.
"Malachi is like your friend Red…he's a wolf, but he's not the good kind, like her," Merryweather said.
"Long before all of you were born, Malachi was the alpha of his pack and one day, he encountered an enchantress. This enchantress was like him, a shape shifter, only her other form was that of a snake," she explained.
"She had the ability to enchant any man she wanted and they all found her irresistible, until Malachi," she said.
"He was immune?" Emma asked. She nodded.
"Because he was a wolf, he was usually repulsed by others that weren't his kind. But the Enchantress took serious offense at his rejection. In revenge, she cursed him with the same pheromones and appetite that she had," Merryweather explained.
"As a result, he became irresistible to women and frequented many villages, if you get my drift," she said.
"Yeah…we do," David replied.
"Anyway, when his pack discovered he was cavorting with those that weren't his own kind, they kicked him out of the pack and a new alpha assumed his place. He lost everything, because of something he was cursed with," she explained.
"That's when he started taking his anger out on those he seduced. After he was done with them, he would kill them and drain them of their blood. He developed quite an appetite for human flesh," she said.
"Ugh…I think my lunch is going to come back up," Snow commented.
"So you and your sisters banished him?" David asked. She nodded.
"We had to…the men of the villages would lead hunting parties to take care of him, but none came back alive and he continued to seduce and kill his victims. The villages of all the Kingdoms in the Enchanted Forest were gripped with fear," she explained.
"So he's basically a rapist and a serial killer," David said.
"I'm afraid so," she replied.
"And my…Mary Margaret is immune to his pheromones?" Emma asked. She nodded.
"It would seem so, which I'm sure infuriates him," Merryweather replied.
"Why am I immune?" Snow asked. Merryweather smiled.
"Well…if I had to guess, I'd say it's true love," she said, smiling at them.
"Which begs the question…is it true love in general or specifically our true love that's somehow shielding Snow from the effects of his pheromones?" David asked.
"That's unclear…but I'd definitely lean toward the latter," she said, as she looked at the Dark One.
"She's right…there is true love and then there is this true love between you two. It's…different from others. It's why I chose it to weave into the curse and not say your friends, Thomas and Ella," Rumple said.
"Which means that it might not be a good idea for Belle to go with us," Merryweather commented.
"You think I'll be afflicted?" she asked.
"It's a possibility," Merryweather replied.
"What about you? You're not exactly a fairy here," Snow said.
"You're right…but I should be able to keep my wits about me. I still have fairy magic in my blood. The curse made me human, like the dwarves, but it can't completely modify me on a molecular level," she explained.
"What about Emma?" David asked and the blonde noticed a protective edge in his voice.
"That's unclear too. In theory, she should be immune like her mother since she is the product of your union, but there's no telling. Magic works so differently in this world," Merryweather replied.
"I wish I knew what was stopping me from breaking the curse," Emma lamented.
"Me too, honey, but you've definitely weakened it," she assured her.
"Once the curse is broken and if the two of you are immune, it's possible I could come up with an antidote to spread your immunity to other women in town," Rumple said.
"That sounds like a really good idea. I don't like the idea of this guy running around and taking advantage of women, who otherwise wouldn't consent," David replied.
"I'm still coming with you…I'll take my chances and I trust that I have all of you to look out for me," Belle said.
"Belle…" Rumple protested.
"I've decided Rumple. I'm aware of what he is going to try and I'm not going to be controlled," she said. He sighed and they approached the people in the streets, who seemed defiant at the presence of Lucian and Malachi in what was clearly a standoff.
"What is this?" Sam Rainwater asked, as the man handed him a folded document. If his high and mighty brothers had their memories, they would have instantly recognized him and met him with a powerful resistance. But by the time they did remember, it wouldn't matter and he would be leader of his tribe once again, among other things.
"I am Lucian Blackwater…and I've purchased this land from the town," he said.
"This is the reservation…we are not owned by the town," Will protested.
"Very true, but the new Mayor did not refuse the very large check I wrote to purchase this land. Since this reservation has failed to file its papers for federal exemption for many years, the land is for sale if so desired," Lucian said, as Sam unfolded the document and found that it was legal papers.
"As you can see, everything is in order and as a member of the Native American community like yourselves, I'll be joining your High Council," Lucian said.
"That is a decision for the Council to make," Same contested hotly. But the elder man only smirked.
"I am sure they will see me fit to join once they see all the prosperity I will soon bring to our people," he said.
"Sorry we're late…" Emma said, as they arrived.
"Calling outside law enforcement?" Lucian asked in surprise.
"They claim to have bought our land," Sam said, as Merryweather stepped forward.
"I'm an attorney…may I have a look?" she asked. Snow looked at Will.
"She's my friend…you can trust her," she assured. Will nodded to his brother and he handed it over to her. Merryweather scanned the document and looked at Lucian.
"Why are you really here?" she asked. He smirked and made a gesture of open arms.
"As I said, I'm here to improve the lives of my people that this town has neglected," he said.
"The new Mayor is our ally and now an ally to our people. I will build new housing, a community center, and many other businesses here on the reservation and soon, we will break ground on a new Casino that will give my people jobs and bring many tourists," he said.
"They don't want you here and my Aunt is not anyone's friend, certainly not anyone good and decent," Snow protested. He smirked and she shook her head, before covering her nose and backing away from Malachi's stench. David gently put his arm around her waist.
"Does the little pixie speak for our community? She is an outsider," Lucian said.
"So are you," Emma countered.
"Regardless…she is right. We do not want you here or your help," Sam refuted.
"Maybe you do not…but I look around and one must question your leadership. When the people see what I am offering, they may not be reluctant at all," Lucian said.
"Your Casino is just a front for whatever operation you plan on running out of it, but this town won't tolerate any of it," David stated.
"Oh Deputy…I hardly think you'll have enough time to police everything and everyone. There are only two of you, after all, but I challenge you to prove I am doing anything wrong," Lucian retorted, as another wave of pheromones hit and Merryweather steeled herself against it. Belle seemed entranced, but did not venture forth. Snow was green and looked like she was going to be sick, as did Emma.
"Your stench is God awful," she said, as she looked at Snow and Malachi frowned.
"That's two…" Lucian teased.
"But she might go for you, if you press it," he said, as he mentioned Belle.
"Do it…and you'll beg me for death," Rumple warned. Malachi paused and though he knew Rumple had no magic at this time, he also knew not to trifle with the Dark One.
"In time, the people will see that I am here to improve their lives and the Council will welcome me. Construction crews arrive tomorrow," Lucian claimed, as he and Malachi left to explore the reservation.
"Is there anything we can do to stop him, legally?" Sam asked.
"I wish there was, but everything is legally in order in these papers. I'm sorry," Merryweather said.
"A Casino will bring jobs…but also many evils of the outside world to Storybrooke," Will mentioned.
"He's right…there has to be a way to stop them," Snow said.
"I wish there was, honey…and we'll keep trying," Merryweather assured her.
"I know that you're leery of outsiders and rightfully so, but our department isn't under the new Mayor's control and we will serve all of Storybrooke, including the reservation," David said.
"You can trust my husband and my…my best friend implicitly," Snow assured them.
"Mary Margaret!" Monica called, as she rushed to her and gave her a hug.
"Hello Monica…I see that you're mostly recovered from your tonsils coming out," she said.
"She's supposed to still be in bed," Will said, a bit sternly.
"There's a bird in the tree over here. Can you get him to come to you like you did in the hospital?" she asked. Snow smiled.
"For you…of course," she said, as she looked at the bird and it came right to her, landing on her finger, shocking even Emma for the moment, for she hadn't actually seen her mother do anything like that before.
"Now very gently, use one finger and you can pet him," she said, as Monica did so and was enthralled by the experience. Sam looked at his brother, who nodded. Clearly, Will had told him about his encounter with Mary Margaret Blanchard and how unique she seemed.
"It is not often that we make alliances with those outside our borders…but with this family, we will make an exception," he said, as he extended his hand and David returned the gesture, shaking his hand.
"It's going to be a fight…but one we can win together," he said.
