Thanks for the amazing response to this story. It's a lot of fun. I'm glad everyone is enjoying the twists and turns. Season 1 can be very fun to play with. Enjoy this latest and keep reviewing! Here are individual responses to reviews:
Jennifer Baratta: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Ghostwriter: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Grace5231973: I know, so much to do and figure out! Glad you're enjoying.
Sexystarwarslover: Yeah, you have to feel a little bad for Greg. He just wants to know what happened to his father. But he's gone insane trying to do it. Yep, Narcissa is the worst and trying to blame everything on Snow. Yep, they found Henry and now the curse has been broken! Yeah, they need a redo election. Yep, it looks like Kurt might be alive. Yep, memories have returned! Yeah, Greg is being crazy. Glad you're enjoying!
AnonSnowing: Yeah, Henry would never get it if she set off the trigger. Regina is not thinking clearly. Yep, Maleficent is on the loose. Yep, memories are back now and the curse is broken. But now Regina is missing. Narcissa would have loved to blame it on Snow, but now the townspeople actually want her to solve problems. Just wait until they hear who she really is. The definitely need an election redo. But Greg is out of control so stopping him is first. Glad you're enjoying it!
Special Note: Sorry for the delay on this chapter. My Mom passed away suddenly on August 13th and the rest of the month was pretty rough. I didn't have the time or mindset to write the last few weeks, but I should be back to a regular schedule now. Thanks

Chapter 53: Broken, Pt 1
The nurse cried out and put her hands up, as the gun was pointed in her face.
"Show me where the basement psych ward is…NOW!" Greg shouted.
"I…I don't have the codes," she stammered and screamed, covering her head, as he fired a bullet into the ceiling. One of the fluorescent lights above them sparked and went out.
"Then get me someone who can!" he shouted, as he took her by the arm and dragged her along toward the main lobby. He pointed his gun again at the nurse behind the desk. She cried out and put her hands up.
"You're going to take me to the psych ward or you get lead poisoning," he warned, as she trembled in fear.
"No…none of the nurses have the code, except one and she's downstairs already," she stammered.
"There has to be someone else!" he screamed, as he fired another shot into the ceiling.
"Just…just the former Mayor and Dr. Whale," she cried.
"Well…since the former Mayor is indisposed, you're going to show me to Dr. Whale," he ordered, as he released the nurse he was holding and motioned for the one behind the desk to lead him to Whale. She led him to Whale's office and he barged in, only to catch the doctor with his feet up on the desk, enjoying a cocktail. He nearly choked, as the gun was pointed at him.
"Take me down to the psych ward now or that drink is your last," Greg hissed. Whale stumbled to get up from his chair and almost tripped on the way out of his office. The nurse was pulled along, as an extra hostage and Whale nervously led him to the door that was offset to the lobby. He swallowed thickly and his hand shook, as he prepared to punch in the code.
"Hurry up!" Greg shouted, as David and Emma descended upon the scene with weapons drawn. Greg was quick though and pulled the nurse closer and put the gun to her head.
"Back off!" Greg demanded, as he pointed the barrel at the nurse. Emma and David withdrew their weapons and put their hands up.
"Easy pal…if you want to go to the basement level, you just had to ask," Emma said.
"She's right…let her go and we'll lead you down there," David added.
"Fine…put the code in," Greg said, as he released the nurse and pointed his gun at the doctor. Whale punched the code in the blink of an eye, David surprised him and tackled Greg to the ground. The gun went flying and Emma confiscated it, as her father cuffed him.
"No…you can't stop me! I have to find my Dad! He's down there…she said he's down there!" Greg ranted.
"Relax…we're going to take you down there," David growled, as he pulled him to his feet.
"But you're not going to do it waving a gun around at innocent people," the prince added, as they marched him toward the door in question.
"Open it," Emma requested and though Whale seemed hesitant, he extracted his keys from his pocket.
"You know…I should be asking you for a search warrant," he mentioned. Emma looked at him incredulously.
"It's a psych ward or supposed to be. We know Regina has been using it as her own personal dungeon and you were at least semi-aware that she was doing something shady down there, even when you were cursed, so ask yourself if you really want to go this route, because if I get a warrant, it's going to be very thorough and I'll make sure you're charged as an accomplice to whatever we find down there," she warned. David smirked smugly at the doctor, who he still wanted to punch in the face. Whale huffed and punched his security code into the pad, before unlocking the door. It buzzed once it accepted the code and he allowed them in. David led Greg down the stairs, as they followed Emma and she looked at the stark white hallway, which was lined with cells.
"A modern dungeon…how nice of her," David muttered and she turned to him curiously.
"You sound like you know from experience," she replied.
"I should…I was in one when she made your…made Snow bite into the poison apple. I felt it when she did…" he replied.
"Felt it?" she asked curiously, as she looked at him. He nodded.
"I felt a pain…in my gut…in my heart. I felt her fade and it brought me to my knees," he said. Emma was stunned again. She had read about that scene in the book briefly, but hadn't really grasped the entire concept that her parents were so connected that they could mystically feel each other's plight or pain.
"Regina planned to have me executed so I couldn't break the curse on your…on Snow, but fortunately, the Huntsman helped me escape," he said.
"Then you get how evil she is…you should want her dead as much as me!" Greg growled.
"No…because we're better than her," David retorted, as they stopped at the head of the hallway.
"Stay with him…I'll search the cells," Emma said, as she looked in the first one and found it empty.
"No one so far," Emma said, as she found the second one empty too. In the next one, she found a young woman, blonde, like her and about her age.
"Hello…" she said.
"Are you the Savior?" she asked. Emma was taken aback, but then remembered that memories had returned, though that didn't explain how this woman knew who she was just by looking at her.
"My name is Emma…how do you know me?" she asked suspiciously.
"Long story…but I hope you're here to let me out," the woman replied.
"Yeah…of course," Emma said, as she unlocked the cell and the woman came out, before going to the cell next to her.
"This is my brother," she said, as Emma looked in to see a young man, about the same age, with sandy brown hair. She nodded and let him out too. Before she could ask them more questions, Greg became agitated again.
"Come on…find my father!" he growled, as she kept looking through the cells. There were a few more empty ones, before she finally came to one cell, which had an elderly man inside. He had to be in his seventies, at least, and his hair had gone completely gray. But Greg would have known him anywhere.
"Dad…" he uttered. The old man looked up and squinted in their direction. He shook his head and looked again, as if to wonder if his eyes were playing tricks on him. He cautiously approached, still squinting his eyes, until they went wide.
"Owen?" he asked.
"Dad…you're alive," he uttered in a choked voice.
"I thought I'd never see you again," he cried. Emma unlocked the cell and they let the two men hug.
"Why…why are you in handcuffs?" Kurt asked.
"I'm afraid he held up the hospital staff with a gun. We stopped him, but let him come down here since this is what he was after. We're all Regina's victims, after all," Emma replied.
"Regina…the woman that locked me down here," Kurt recalled.
"Yes…and she's going to pay for what she did," Greg growled.
"No…you're going to jail and then you're going to tell us where she is. She may be horrible…but she needs to face justice. The right way," Emma said.
"She destroyed my life…she destroyed yours if the stories are true!" Greg shouted.
"You're right…she destroyed a lot of lives and a lot of people deserve to see her face that," Emma reasoned.
"She's right…my daughter has just as much reason to hate her," David added.
"What does it matter? You're going to lock me up too," Greg hissed. Emma sighed and glanced at him.
"Whatever you think is best…" he said, reading her expression. She looked a little surprised by that, but then looked back at them.
"Okay…you tell us where Regina is and in exchange, the charges against you go away if and only if, you two leave town immediately. If you ever come back, you'll be arrested on site," Emma said. Greg appeared to think over what she said and looked at his father.
"It sounds like a good deal, son…let's take it. I've lost thirty years, but I'm not dead yet and there's no life for us here," Kurt reasoned. Greg deflated a little and nodded in agreement.
"Fine…she's at the Cannery on the upper level," he confessed.
"Snow and I will go find her after I free anyone else in here and see our other two prisoners to freedom too," David said. She nodded, as they turned to find them gone.
"Where'd they go?" she wondered.
"We'll find them later. I'm sure they just wanted out of this basement. Go and I'll see if anyone else is down here, before we go find Regina," David said. She nodded.
"Okay…now let's get you two into a car and over the town line," Emma replied, as she escorted them out.
Malachi smirked, as he stared at his younger brothers with smug contempt.
"How is this possible?" Billy Truheart, formerly Will Rainwater under the curse, uttered, as they stood defiantly before their evil elder brother.
"Even banishment has its loopholes and I found one. Zoso wasn't nearly as good at finding them as the current Dark One is, but he had his moments," Lucian said.
"And now…I will be Chief again and build a glorious Casino for our community," he added.
"We don't want your filthy casino," Mathias Firebird, formerly Sam Rainwater under the curse, growled.
"Really? A Casino would bring steady jobs for all our people and improve our community greatly," he claimed.
"While leaching money from misguided people and we all know that a Casino will only breed more poverty," Billy countered.
"Well, regardless, I still own the reservation now and I am the new Chief. I'll give you both a few hours to collect your things and your brats, before you are escorted off the reservation," Lucian said, as they saw two men behind him. They were part of the tribe, but like any group of people, they had those among them that were only loyal to money.
"So…you're banishing us now," Mathias said. Lucian smirked.
"One banishment deserves another," he replied, as they turned away and went to their houses to collect their meager belongings, as well as their daughters.
"What do we do?" Billy asked his brother, who he knew was their rightful Chief.
"You have made acquaintances with those outside. We share an interest in ejecting Lucian from this town and all our lives. We will form an alliance with the heroes of Misthaven. It is the only way to combat our deceitful brother," Mathias said wearily.
"I know you are always weary of outsiders, but I sense a goodness in Snow White. I believe that extends to her husband and their daughter," Billy replied.
"Uncle is right, Papa…Snow and Charming's daughter is the Savior. We need them," Tigerlily offered, as she stood there with Monica's hand in her own.
"Then we will go to them. Pack your things," Mathias said, as he motioned to a nearby bluebird.
"Tell Snow White that Chief Firebird requests an audience again with her and her family," he said simply and the bird flew off to deliver his message.
"We should have waited back there. They'll want to know who we are," the young man said, as he and his sister walked along Main Street.
"This town isn't that big…they'll find us. It's what they do anyway," she answered, as they approached the library.
"What are you in such a hurry for?" he asked. She sighed and stopped.
"We've been locked up for twenty-eight years, but you know as well as I do that there are people out there that will come now and they want one thing for their own," she said. He sighed and nodded.
"Magic," he said. She nodded.
"Okay…but what do you need in the library?" he asked. She shrugged.
"We need to find out who is still out there after all these years and I figure it's the best place to start when you want to find someone," she replied.
"And if we find our enemies?" he asked.
"Then we tell the Savior and her parents what might be coming," she replied, as they went inside the library.
Emma followed them to the town line in Greg's car and watched them slowly stop. She put the bug in park and got out, before walking toward the driver side of the car.
"Okay…the deal is that you leave Storybrooke forever, tell no one about this place, and forget we exist. If I see you here again, then the deal is revoked and I toss you in jail," Emma said.
"Fine…have fun dealing with your murderous Queen. If you don't deal with her, she'll kill you all," Greg warned.
"We'll deal with Regina…just go," Emma said, as she watched them drive over the town line. Once they were out of sight, she turned her car around and headed back to town.
"It's good to be together again, son. Now we can put all this behind us," Kurt said, but Greg gripped the steering wheel tightly.
"Oh no…we're not done with them," he promised, giving his father an unsettling feeling…
