Another chapter in our lives have ended. We've done it. We survived, but for the fallen, we will remember them. The pen doesn't stop yet, for our next adventure is about to begin, and with that, I want to thank each and every reader for taking the time to lift this soul up. I greatly appreciate all the kind words you guys have given me over the years of being a writer. Thank you so much. Here's to another year.

Enjoy!

Her heart was about to explode. The sheer giddiness in her soul left her restless. As the time ticked, and the designated time drew nearer, she contemplated what magical adventure was waiting for her at five o'clock. With no hint as to what was waiting down the road, her mind was free to roam. And roam it did. She felt a gentle kiss touch her cheek as her hand fell in her lover's. He smiled down at her, whispering sweet nothings in her head.

"Mmm," she moaned as she writhed in euphoric glee. "Oh, I love you."

"Uhhh, me too?"

… That wasn't her lover's voice.

Momo opened her eyes, coming face to face with Jirou, who mirrored her embarrassed countenance.

"I was daydreaming," Momo explained.

"Yeah, the kissy faces were a dead giveaway."

Momo touched her cheeks. Their hotness burned the vice president's fingers.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself. I'm so excited for tonight."

"Obviously, but hey, I'm not complaining."

The promised day was upon Momo. Today, a mysterious prize waited for her acceptance and made more alluring thanks to the wordsmith that was her boyfriend.

"I'm getting special treatment," Momo sighed in bliss. All her hard work was about to be rewarded at last. "I can only imagine what Teddy has in store for me."

Jirou continued to style her best friend's hair.

"You know, I thought you would be the dominate one in the relationship, but senpai has you wrapped his finger, doesn't he?"

Momo neither confirmed nor denied her friend's accusation.

"You're really in love with him, huh?"

This time, Momo smiled beautifully while looking at her clasped hands.

"I am. I didn't think it would be this hard too."

"I told you to stop reading so many romance novels."

"I can differentiate between fiction and reality, Jirou," Momo's pout made the punk rocker laugh.

"You sure about that? I've seen the kind of literature you're into. Yaomomo, I am surprised at you. I expected this from Mina or Ochako, but from you? Next, you're going to tell me Senpai is a mob boss."

When Momo stayed quiet, Jirou circled the chair and looked her dead in the eye.

"You've seen his hair slicked back. I want him to model a couple of suits."

Jirou sighed, not swayed by the enthusiastic sparkle of her friend's eyes.

"Yeah, he's got you wrapped around his finger."

"I like being petted, okay?!"

This was it, the moment of truth. Arriving at Takoba Municipal Beach Park, Momo bid farewell to her friend and took out a compact mirror.

"One last checkup," Momo made sure everything was perfect. Her makeup was applied excellently. No strand of hair obscured her eyes and framed her face beautifully. She chose to wear a light brown, long-sleeved top that cut off at the upper chest, a beige skirt that stopped below her knees, a black belt tightened around her waist, leaving the rest of her legs bare, and a pair of brown laced up boots.

Momo was breathtaking. Heads already turned at the sight of a limo pull up to the beach, but no one expected a model to emerge from the vehicle.

"I'm here, Teddy."

Momo looked around but saw no sign of her boyfriend.

"I see you. Go to the pier and look over the horizon."

Momo was confused but complied with the request. She felt embarrassed by the amount of attention she garnered.

'Oh no, did I overdress?'

Momo stayed calm. No one bothered her and chose to just admire her.

"What do I do now?" Momo gazed at the setting sun, the vibrant colors of yellow and orange brushing the sky.

"Close your eyes and count to ten. After that, turn around and open your eyes."

She played along. Closing her eyes, Momo began counting.

"One. Two. Three."

She was distracted by her counting that she didn't feel someone land behind her.

"Four. Five. Six."

The person dug into his pocket, removed a small box with a red ribbon wrapped around it, and held it behind his back.

"Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten," Momo turned around, opened her eyes, and came face to face with the elusive psychic that was Shuzenji Kyoya. He came dressed in a light-red coat with darker-red highlights on it, a slightly opened white undershirt with a collar, black jagged pants, and dark-red dress shoes with a light-brown accent.

He flashed Momo a toothy grin and gave a mock bow, complete with a flourish of his arm.

"Good evening, Momo. I'm glad you could make it," his voice echoed in the first year's head. Kyoya admired his girlfriend's appearance and let his grin expand. "I have never seen a more beautiful person in my life. You are breathtaking."

The reddening began, starting at Momo's cheeks and spreading to her ears.

"You look really good too. Thank you," she squeaked. "As you can see, I'm very excited. Now that we're here, what do you have in store?"

Kyoya silently asked for her hand, to which Momo obliged. Pulling the box from behind his back, the psychic placed it in Momo's grasp.

"This is my first gift to you."

Kyoya watched with bated breath as Momo opened the present. There was no doubt in his mind. He did good, evident by the way Momo's eyes threatened to eject from their sockets, the sides brimming with fresh tears.

Words stalled in her throat and welled up inside her chest. Anything she wanted to say was thrown out of her mouth, replaced by the increasing rhythm of her sniffling.

From the present to a grinning Kyoya and back to the box, she repeated this segment a couple of times until Kyoya stepped forward and removed the item placed within.

"Like the Spirits, I work in mysterious ways, Kitty."

Two necklaces, one silver and the other black, rested in the box. Styled in a rope chain, the necklaces formed a heart with writing on each half. Right next to the message, two small diamonds sparkled under the evening light.

Kyoya took one of the necklaces, the black one that had "Her Teddy" written in chrome, and tied it around his neck. With the white one, he did the same to Momo, tying her half around her neck.

"His Kitty," it read.

Momo was stunned.

"I knew you'd pass. I never had any doubts, but I figured you deserved something more than just a night out and a few pats on the head."

Kyoya embraced his still crying girlfriend and dragged his fingers through her silky-smooth, onyx hair. He planted a gentle kiss atop her head and held its sides while running his thumbs under her eyes to stop the tears.

"You deserve your own special reward."

He stole a kiss from her lips, one Momo greatly returned. A vehement surge erupted that transcended the work of the wordsmith and any letter he created combined. The sparks that flew grew into a big roaring flame that set their souls ablaze.

"Thank you," Momo whispered after their separation. "I don't know what to say except thank you. I love it. How did you get it?"

Kyoya tickled underneath Momo's chin. "I know some people, called in a couple of favors."

"Oh, Teddy, you shouldn't have gone through the trouble."

She closed her eyes as another kiss touched her forehead.

"It wasn't a problem, but I have more to give you. Are you ready for the main event?"

Finally, everything that led up to this point was coming to fruition. Momo's heart raced with anticipation, excited by the mystery that continued to elude her.

"I'm ready."

Kyoya nodded and pulled her close, wrapping his arms cleanly around her waist.

"Hold on to me tight."

Momo did as such, resting her head on his chest.

Without warning, Momo's feet left the ground, prompting her to see what was happening. The first thing she noticed was the cyan glow that occurred when Kyoya activated his quirk. That glow outlined the couple as they continued to ascend.

"What's going on?" Momo inquired. She didn't get an answer though. Kyoya simply looked at her with a mixture of love and admiration.

Once they reached a high enough altitude, Kyoya used his quirk to fly around the sky with Momo in his grasp. She saw all the beautiful colors: the beautiful array of red, yellow, and orange of the sky slowly fading to black as nighttime rolled around, and the glow of Kyoya's Psychokinesis illuminated the space around them. The sea of approaching stars danced as Kyoya performed various maneuvers with his quirk. He twirled her in the air and switched positions, one arm still around her waist while the other held her hand lovingly in his. In the pirouetting twilight, the lovers danced as one to the music only they could hear.

Bodies pressed close again, their flight changed patterns. Hand in hand, the couple dove towards the sea, no worries, no strife, not looking away from the one who made their hearts beat like never before.

They trusted each other.

Taking the dance underwater, Kyoya put up a forcefield and flew alongside the sea life. It was a breathtaking scene being up close to the sea creatures, the crystal-clear waters shining like diamonds, and the couple right in the middle of it all. They embraced again as Kyoya shot them upward at a great pace.

Bursting from the water, Kyoya used his quirk to keep a trail of water following behind. At a certain height, the couple separated, and Kyoya controlled their flight. The water split and created the image of the psychic's mind. His and Momo's loop formed a heart that amazed the crowd they gathered. At the heart's bottom, the couple reunited. The hug of strong arms reminded them that they were, in mind, body, and soul, there for one another.

"I love you," Momo buried her teary face in Kyoya's chest. "I love you."

Slowly, the couple descended, still wrapped up in the other's arms. Once their feet touched the ground, Kyoya's quirk turned off, but the dance they shared would forever reside in their mind and hearts.

Kyoya took a few deep breaths. The painful part was next to come. Every vibration in his throat burned but he persevered.

"I… l-love y-you…too, K-K-Kitty."

Momo sighed in bliss. 'Why are your actions so loud?'

Actions normally spoke louder than words, but to use his broken voice to lend Momo his words spoke louder than anything else.

"I enjoyed this," she told him. "Is this the end though?"

She felt Kyoya's quirk spark to life again. Her legs left the ground, but this time, it was Kyoya who lifted her like a princess. He gave her a wink and took off like a bullet. His tour had them flying over the city. It was a whole new experience to see the lights from above rather than in the middle.

"You know, I was wracking my brain for days trying to figure out what you had planned," Momo nuzzled closer. "Of course, this never came to mind."

Momo held her arm out to feel the wind push against her limb.

"It's still early, and knowing you, I imagine you have a reservation in place and is killing time by flying me around the city," she deduced.

He kissed her cheek as a reward.

"Answer me this: what do you call this reward of mine?"

Kyoya tapped on Momo's nose. "Kitty's Delight."

"Kitty's Delight," Momo repeated. "I like it. It has a nice ring."

Putting the halves of their necklace together, Momo pressed her glossy lips to Kyoya's.

"Be careful. It's easy for me to lose concentration like this."

"Well, better try your hardest," Momo kissed him more feverishly.

The evening played out as Momo deduced. After their flight, the two enjoyed a nice dinner while talking, grinning, laughing, and joking.

Their next spot was the Central Park that had Momo twirling along the trail. The couple followed the sound of music and end up in front of the water fountain, where a guitarist strummed on his instrument and hummed a lively tune. Passersby who heard the tune couldn't bear to turn away as if caught in a trance. Momo and Kyoya were no exception.

After the guitarist ceased playing and packed up, the couple continued their date. By then, it was going past eighty-thirty, and curfew was drawing near, but Momo didn't want the night to end.

"Do we have to go back now?" she pleaded with Kyoya to stay out. "I'm having so much."

Kyoya shook his head and held her close. He shared her sentiments, but there was nothing he could do. The silent psychic carried his girlfriend like a princess again and flew them back to U.A., where he dropped them down in front of Momo's class dorm building. He set her down, but she refused to let go, wanting to be wrapped in his embrace for a while longer.

"Until the clock strikes nine exactly, don't let go."

That was a wish Kyoya granted. His senses picked up multiple onlookers, Momo's female friends, who were grinning and waving at them. He returned their greeting with a victorious smile and gave them a thumbs-up.

Immediately at nine, the couple separated but ended their night out with a loving kiss, getting thunderous applause from Momo's friends.

"AHHHH!" the onyx-haired beauty screamed and leaped into Kyoya's arms.

"You go, girl!" Mina cheered.

"Way to go, Momo!" Tooru flailed her arms enthusiastically.

"How long have you been standing there?" Momo proceeded to jump out of Kyoya's grasp and scold her friends.

Before he left, Class 1-A's father figure and representative walked out and came up to the giant.

"Thank you for bringing Momo back before curfew," Iida said. "I trust your night was pleasant."

'It was more than pleasant, but I'll let Kitty deal with that talk.'

"Took her for a flight, had dinner, and to the park," said the almighty whiteboard.

"Splendid. Then, I hope you enjoy the rest of your night. We will be seeing you tomorrow morning for training."

Kyoya nodded. He hasn't forgotten the plan. It was hard enough to contain his excitement.

"I look forward to seeing how much my juniors have grown. You guys have a good night, too."

Kyoya and Iida shook hands and went their separate ways.

"Good night, Kitty. See you tomorrow."

Momo stopped scolding her friends and turned to the walking Kyoya.

"Good night, Teddy! Thank you for the wonderful date!"

The psychic activated Psychokinesis. Its glow shined brightly around Momo's half of the necklace. She didn't bother wondering when he did it. She was just happy to see the light.

"I love you, Teddy."
