Quandi asked if I could include the OC's physical descriptions in the next chapter as a note. So, why not just drop an A/N here and devote a page to describing them seeing as how I have so many.
I like to be intentionally vague when it comes to original characters because when you read something you fill in the blanks yourself, you see the characters how you see them.
I have not described all of the characters physical characteristics aside from a few because I really hadn't thought of it, to be honest.
As of late some of them have been clearer in my mind or rather a more consistent appearance so, I will go down the cast list of original characters in this story and describe them.
Izumi: Izumi appears to be around seventeen to eighteen years old. She has long blonde hair and dog ears that lay against her hair. They start at the top of her head and stop to where a humans ear lobes would be.
Her skin tone is darker, tanned in appearance or bronzed but naturally so. She has grey eyes in her more human appearance and height wise is average for a woman of the series.
In her demon form she looks like a golden retriever with slightly longer hair so that it is shaggier. The white of her eyes are orange that bleed into a red. Her pupils are green.
Iku: Iku appears to be in her early to mid thirties age wise. She has long brown hair that he normally keeps up in a tight bun on top of her head. She has round brown eyes with no discernible pupil. Her ears appear to be human as does most of her appearance.
Iku wears a kosode which is like a kimono but the sleeves are only quarter sleeves on hers which allows her to work. She tends to wear more earthy colors and simple patterns adorn her clothing.
She is also of average height and mass for a woman of the series.
Riku: Riku appears to be in his late thirties to early forties compared to a humans appearance.
He has sandy colored hair or dirty blonde that he keeps tied up in a ponytail on top of his head. His hair is comparable in length to Sesshomarus fathers for comparison.
Riku has brown eyes with a pupil and by all intents and purposes appears human at first glance.
He is slightly shorter than Sesshomaru but barely. He has broad shoulders and a barrel type chest since he is an older male.
He wears a white top with blue hakamas. His top and armor are adorned with the crest of the eastern house of the sun, a sunflower with rays of the sun for its petals.
For his armor he wears chest guard, arm and shoulder plates as well as leather greaves on his legs and leather gauntlets on his wrists and hands. His weapon is a sword.
Emi: Emi appears to be sixteen to seventeen years in age. She has grey hair that she leaves down most of time. Length wise her hair comes to her mid back. She has very round black eyes with no pupil.
Emi is a little taller than Rin but is very delicate in her appearance. She is thin and small due to her being a bird demon. She wears a longer kimono with short sleeves that is a cool grey color but at times wears a light blue.
Nen and Jiro: Identical twins so physically they appear more or less the same. Both appear to be eighteen to twenty years old.
They have dark brown hair with Jiro keeping his short to the scalp and Nen has his longer tied back in a short ponytail. Brown eyes with pupils they appear human at first glance.
They are comparable to Inuyasha or Mirokus height and body wise about the same as other young men of the series appear.
Their clothes are white similar to Sesshomarus color of clothing with his pattern on their tops and armor. They wear chest guards and spiked chest and shoulder plates made of wood similar to Sesshomarus father.
Nen uses a naginata for his weapon while Jiro has a sword.
Mitsuo: Mitsuo is in his mid forties who has worked outside for most of his life so he has tanned skin and wrinkles on his face typical of a person in their mid life.
He has brown hair that is shorter but can be tied back in a top knot on his head. He has brown eyes and is of average build for a man who has farmed his entire life so he has muscle definition but not ripped.
Broad shoulders he is slightly taller than what Inuyasha is for reference but shorter than Sesshomaru.
Mitsuo wears a simple grey kimono top and brown hakamas or just a brown kimono.
Sana: Sana is fourteen years old with brown hair that she keeps tied in a braid to hang down her back and brown eyes. She is taller than Rin for reference but shorter than Kagome.
She is of average body for a girl her age within the series. Sana wears a cloth for a hair covering, a brown or pale yellow kimono with an apron over it and no footwear.
Hisashi: Hisashi appears to be a puppy that is a few months old but is roughly the size of a six month old human infant. He has darker silver fur that is short to his body and the crescent moon on his forehead.
His eyes are a solid red color, the same as the white of Sesshomarus eyes in his demon form, with no discernible pupil. He has his mothers physical appearance face wise but his fathers muscular build.
Hotaru: Hotaru appears to be a human infant at this time. She has darker silver hair that is wispy and fur like with brown eyes that have golden flecks in them and a solid pupil.
Her ears are not as pointed as Sesshomarus with more of a rounded shape to them but do not appear human. She is average size of a healthy four month old infant girl as of this point.
The Hatchlings: I have yet to name them. There are three, two girls and one boy. They are average human infant size and appear as humans except for their hair that appears feather like and grey.
They all have grey eyes and are covered in a fluffy down that starts at their shoulders and covers their bodies.
Wow that is a lot of OC's with three more to come once Kohaku returns. Man, that isn't including the three babies that are cooking. I don't know what I got myself into with this one guys.
