A/N: Unanimously voted from both AO3 and this site to go back and forth between all of the characters. So, I think I'm up to the challenge of having, essentially, two different story lines going for multiple characters in a single story.
We'll start with Sesshomaru and Rin.

Rin could barely contain her excitement as Sesshomaru lifted her off of An-Un outside of the village. If she had not been holding her daughter in the sling she would have bolted towards where she knew her close friends and family were.
Touching the front of her kimono to make sure she still had Izumis letter to Sango they walked towards Kaedes with Jaken tending to An-Un.
Smiling widely she made her way to Kaedes hut stopping when she saw the priestess in her garden.
"Hello Lady Kaede." She greeted as if she had just seen her the day before. Looking up from underneath her wide brimmed hat she gasped slightly.
"Does this old eye deceive me or has Rin decided to come and visit with me?" She teased. Laughing Rin knelt down beside her wrapping her arms around her. "And whom might this be?"
"This is Hotaru." Rin introduced her sleeping daughter to her adoptive mother. "And…"Standing she showed off her small stomach. "Another on the way."
"Now I see why ye have yet to visit." Standing slowly she took Rins offered hand. "And how have ye been Lord Sesshomaru?"
"Well." He said simply.
"Izumi and Kohaku are having a baby too. Iku, our healer, is as well with her mate Riku, he is our captain of the guard." Rin stated happily. "Emi came from Sesshomarus mothers palace. We found her human mate Mitsuo for her after they had been separated for decades. They have three little hatchlings that are so sweet."
"Is that so?" Kaede questioned as Rin went on about the goings on of their compound.
"Rin! Sesshomaru!" Kagome chirped out seeing them as she approached. "Oh! It's the baby!" Practically jumping for joy she ran closer to them. "I remember you sweet girl."
"Hello Kagome." Rin smiled even more widely. Sesshomaru turned knowing Rin was well and safe to scout out the cave that was theirs to stay in while they visited.
"Rin. Stay here. I will be back." He said glancing back at her before walking off.
"Yes my lord." She replied as she usually did. "Is Sango home?"
"She should be." Kagome said. "Lady Kaede, do you mind if I steal Rin for a little bit?"
"Not at all Kagome." Kaede replied.
"Great. Come on Rin." Leading her deeper into the village Kagome told her about what had been happening lately, how Inuyasha was and that they themselves had been trying for a child of their own.
"That is wonderful Kagome." Rin gushed.
"Thanks Rin. It's still early on but I'm hopeful." Coming up to Sangos hut they greeted her outside.
"Hey you." Sango smiled and waved at Rin as she stopped hanging up her laundry. "Nice to see you."
"It's always nice to see you Sango." Rin said taking the letter out. "This is from Izu."
"Thank you." Tucking it away for later she invited them to sit for tea. "Your daughter is beautiful Rin. How is Izumis child doing? What is his name again?"
"Hisashi. He is very well. He's getting big. He has a moon on his forehead just like Lord Sesshomaru does and soft fur that is the same color as Hotarus hair." Rin said.
"Oh yeah, Kagome said he looks like a puppy." Sango said.
"To us he does, yes, but to the others he is as he should be." Rin replied. "I love my son and wouldn't want him any other way. You should read your letter. Izumi and Kohaku are very happy together."
"Good. I'm glad to hear that. You have no idea how happy I am that he found his place, a wife…it is more than I ever could have hoped for him." Sango sighed out.
"Same for you to Rin." Kagome said. "You look so happy and healthy. I was worried about you but when I stayed with you I realized how loved you are. You're the heart of the home for everyone there."
"I don't know about that Kagome. We all work together to create a place for all of us." Rin said.
"How many people live there with you?" Sango asked.
"Well there is Lord Sesshomaru, myself, Hotaru. Izu and Kohaku with Hisashi. Jaken of course and An-Un. Iku and Riku, they'll have their little pup by years end."
"Emi and Mitsuo with their three. The twins, Nen and Jiro….Sana. Nagi and Jin just came from the demon slayer village…" Counting on her fingers she left out that Izumi and Kohaku were expecting as she believed Izumi had included it in her letter.
"Wow. You have a whole village there now." Kagome said impressed. "I'm surprised that Sesshomaru is so accommodating. He never seemed to like people."
"Lord Sesshomaru never minded others." Rin said.
"Well, he is a lord so he probably has just taken it as what he is supposed to do." Sango offered.
"At first." Rin replied. "But he cares about the others just as much as I do. If it weren't for Lord Sesshomaru then Sana never would have joined us, he found her and has saved her twice."
"Is Sana a human?" Kagome questioned.
"Yes, she is younger than me. Barely a woman. She was taken from her village by ogres and violated. Somehow she managed to escape before they ate her."
"How dreadful." Sango muttered. "The poor thing."
Nodding Rin continued. "Lord Sesshomaru found her but she was frightened of him and ran away. He sent Kohaku and I after her to help her. She has been with us since."
"So, what happened the second time?" Kagome wondered. Frowning Rin sighed.
"Kohaku brought three demon slayers that requested to serve under him as they did in the village before he left. One of them, Rentarou, tried to make off with Sana to rape her. Emi saw and tried to stop him but he broke her arms…Sana ran off and killed herself." Her vision suddenly blurred as tears formed in her eyes.
"Oh sweetie." Kagome edged closer to her placing an arm around her shoulders.
"It's alright. Lord Sesshomaru used the Tensaiga to bring her back." Rin whispered. "She went home where she lives with Iku and Riku, they love her and treat her like their daughter. Jiro, he was so sad. He likes Sana and I think she likes him too."
"What did you do with Rentarou?" Sango asked.
"He was sent back to the demon slayer village, to his father." She said. "Everything went back to normal once Nen and Jin returned from delivering him."
"Good." Kagome remarked. "Poor Emi. She's such a sweetheart, I can't imagine anyone wanting to hurt her."
"Me too." Rin stated. Hotaru woke up and began to whine prompting Rin to take her out of the sling.
"If she needs to be changed, may I Rin?" Kagome asked. "I need the practice."
"Of course Kagome." Handing her daughter off to her friend Kagome eagerly took her.
"What's your name baby? Hm? What did your mama and papa name you?" Kagome coo'd at the infant.
"Hotaru. Kohaku picked it." Rin replied. "We took a vote for both of the children which names we liked best between the four of us. Hisashi was one I came up with and Hotaru is what Kohaku suggested."
"That is sweet." Sango said softly. Kagome went into Sangos hut to clean Hotaru and make sure she was comfortable.
"Where are your children Sango?" Rin asked.
"Hisui is with Miroku. They went to a nearby village with Inuyasha that needed help." Sango said. "The twins have the baby. They like to walk around the village with him and play mother."
"Oh. That is precious." She smiled as she heard Jaken calling for her.
"Rin! Lord Sesshomaru has requested you. He said that you would know where to find him." Jaken said.
"Thank you master Jaken." Rin said. "Do you mind if I leave Hotaru here with you for a little while?"
"No, not at all." Sango shook her head. "Just tell Sesshomaru that we want to spend time with you as well."
Smiling Rin have a nod and went in the direction of the cave. Taking a breath she felt a sudden feeling of deja vu come over her. Although it was daylight she felt as if she were reliving the events of the night they first committed to one another as a couple.
Standing at the mouth of the cave she remembered the red string that led her to Sesshomaru. Closing her eyes she could see it, whether is was her imagination or not she couldn't say.
"Lord Sesshomaru." She called out. "My lord, it's Rin." Receiving no answer she ventured in further. He had lit the torches on the wall he had placed the year before making it easier to find her way.
Coming to their spot he had laid out the pallet that he lined with furs and blankets for her comfort. The moko-moko was there but he was not. "Lord Sesshomaru?"
Glancing around she found a bouquet of flowers in a natural shelf of the wall. Smiling she took them inhaling their scent deeply. Turning back around she saw him now standing there.
"Thank you Lord Sesshomaru." Walking to him she held her flowers to her tightly. "These are beautiful."
"You're welcome Rin." Tilting her chin up he leaned down kissing her lips gently. Humming against him Rin placed a hand to his chest standing on her toes to get better purchase.
Lifting her up bridal style in his arms she giggled as he pressed against her more taking her lips hungrily. Taking a deep breath she wrapped an arm around his neck now making small moans as his scent hit her senses.
Feeling the tingle of arousal she broke their kiss. "I need you." She said headily. Smirking at her he brought her to the bed and laid her down.
"In what way?" He questioned playfully. Smiling at him Rin took his hand guiding it to hem of her short kimono assisting him with bringing it up. Their eyes never leaving one another's he tickled the inside of her thigh with his claws.
It sent jolts straight to her core as she felt herself become wet. Gripping his shoulders she pressed herself closer to him to try and get him to touch her closer to where she wanted.
Pressing his forehead to hers as she breathed heavily she felt his claws and fingertips ghost against her that made her shiver from her head down to her toes.
"There?" Sesshomaru whispered against her lips as she made a small approving sound. She felt her lids close as he parted her folds and slowly drew his finger up the inside her sex.
"Ah, Sesshomaru." She gasped out in a small voice. He teased her between his thumb and index finger rolling her sensitive bundle of nerves forcing the moan from her.
He captured her lips against his prying open her mouth with his tongue before gaining entry. Stealing her breath as she moaned in his own mouth he made certain his claws were dull before placing a finger into her.
Crying out into their kiss as her muscles tightened around him he kept his thumb to her clit and rubbed circles against her as he drew his finger in and out.
Breaking their kiss to breathe Rin panted. "Sesshomaru…" Bringing her hands up to cup his face she stroked her thumbs along his stripes as she opened her eyes to meet his.
Holding his breath as he drank in the emotions she relayed to him just with her big brown orbs he nuzzled her nose with his.
Moving to her cheek he brought his tongue out to lick down to her jaw before swiping up towards her ear slowly.
"Oh! Ah! Sess…Sess….ah!" Rin shouted out her voice echoing in the cavern. She closed her eyes tightly as she tilted her head back while her body spasm'd and twitched.
Coming down from her high she reached down quickly to still his hand. "Sensitive." She giggled out as she became ticklish.
Kissing her cheek he ran his hand up to rest on her stomach. Molding his palm to the spot that was becoming round he rubbed at it and growled in his way that sounded more like a low purr.
Rin hummed contently enjoying the closeness they shared.
