Book One: Chapter Fourteen
[Family Reunion]
"I'm exhausted…" Hu Tao mutters as Relon continues to carry her up the path, both enjoying the peace accompanying the other's presence.
"That's what you get for running all the way down." Relon chides to get a low groan as her only complaint.
Relon. The voice of Ei calls, gaining his attention.
Yeah?
I wish to know why…
Why what?
From our experience together prior to your loss of memories, I am confident in claiming to understand how you perceive and act. Regardless, I wish to hear it from you Relon. Why have you forgiven me?
Keeping his pace steady, he gives a low hum in thought. The sound gaining Hu Tao's attention who in turn nuzzles his cheek like a tired child. Returning the kind gesture, she relaxes her head back on his shoulder.
For a few reasons if I'm being honest. First; the memories I've recovered through contact with the others have given me a few hints as to what caused me and Qiqi to come here. Shenhe, the war, it's all starting to make a little bit of sense and I feel speaking with you and the others will help make some sense of it. Even if you can't exactly tell me everything. Second; it simply wasn't right to be upset with you.
But your rage is quite justified given the circumstances you're now under.
Well yes, but it didn't feel right to be angry. Even if I was in the right. Being pissed over something like this is completely normal, don't get me wrong, but it isn't me. I don't like being angry all the time. It feels… odd. Truth be told, from what I can remember, the emotion itself is rather one I'm unfamiliar with since all I can recall is my time raising Qiqi. A fond smile graces his features at the memory.
I see.
It's like what Ganyu spoke about the other night; I show so many emotions that it's kinda hard not to show all of them. As far as I can recall, I never was angry so when I was fighting… feeling that surge of power through my unbridled rage and hatred combined with seeing Qiqi and everyone hurt… it was scary more than anything else. I don't want to be fearful of losing control and going into a frenzied rage again. Having no recollection of what I do, I don't want to risk hurting Qiqi or anyone next time.
Next time? Does that mean…
He gives a small nod carefully not to get Hu Tao's attention.
I don't want to be scared of this power I've been given by you or the cryo archon. And I certainly don't plan to sit by and watch my friends fight a war. I made a vow and I plan to keep it.
Toward putting an end to this war.
Yeah. That's why I'm going to relearn how to fight. I'm the Raiden Shogun, aren't I? What kind of supposed God would I be if I didn't fight with my army? Much less a man. I'd lose respect pretty quick.
… Ha. Pfft, hahaha.
Hey, what's so funny?
Forgive me, I do not mean to come across as rude but, I cannot help but exude a bit of laughter.
I can clearly hear that. Care to fill me in on why?
I've simply missed our conversations.
Pace coming to a halt, Relon blinks twice before taking a small breath to stop the heat from rising to his cheeks any further.
You females are going to be the death of me.
Teehee, you've stated that once before. I believe that statement remains false, no?
Hmm, we'll see. Still, I need to become stronger for everyone's sake.
You still wish to regain your memories, do you not?
I do but if I can continue to gain glimpses into what's occurred, then I'm in no rush. You have them and if the me of the past trusted you to bind us together, then I'm going to trust you too.
Relon… I am grateful.
I should be the one who's grateful. It's thanks to you that we survived everything that's happened.
No. Your perseverance is where your words lie. That indomitable will is one of the causes behind appointing you as my chosen. As well as your pure heart.
I don't think I've said it yet but I'm truly honored, Ei.
As am I, Relon.
"Hey look." Hu Tao mumbles suddenly.
Shifting to his right, Relon takes notice of two sights. One; Chinju Forest is now behind them meaning he's carried her out of said forest. Two; Inazuma City far off in the distance. The city itself shining as though a beacon for those yearning to return to its comfort.
"This place really is beautiful." Relon awes at the sight. "The forest, the city. All of it."
"O-ya? What's more beautiful? The city, the forest or me, teehee~?"
"Qiqi." He answers with a deadpanned expression.
"Awe, no fair! Hey, we're almost there!" She suddenly shifts topics, Relon now returning his gaze back ahead.
"Is that an estate of some sort?"
"Yeah! The others are waiting!"
"H-Hey, stop squirming so much or I'll drop you!"
"Move it, Relooooooon!" She roots.
"Ugh, Hu Tao, I swear…!"
Walking past the few lanterns as both sides and up the final flight of staircases, he breathes a sigh of release kneeling down for his passenger to slide off.
"Good work, Relon. Now you only have 364 days to go~." She beams with a cheeky grin.
"You're gonna keep reminding me, aren't you?" He questions raising back up.
"Yup yup~. Now, let's get moving. The others have been waiting a while." She ends walking ahead with a skip to her step vanishing around the corner of the entrance.
"When you say others, are you referring to-"
"WE WELCOME YOUR RETURN, ALMIGHTY SHOGUN!"
"Huh?" Blinking next to Hu Tao acting nonchalant, he blinks at the numerous guards kneeling before him. "Uh…"
Feeling an elbow, he looks out of the corner to Hu Tao with a sly grin.
"Well? Don't just stand there, silly."
"Er, right. Ahem, thank you. Forgive me disappearance, I had a matter to attend to. Do remain vigilant. You are dismissed." He ends with crossed arms.
"YES, SIR!"
Watching them spread out with and around the estate, Relon can only breathe in relief for Hu Tao to pat his back.
"Not bad, Raiden Shogun, hehe."
"Hey! I'm still new to all of this so cut me some slack."
"You've slacked off for the last year~." Walking onto the deck and towards the main building,
"I have not!" He retorts keeping pace with the pyro-user. "I don't even know what I've been doing the last year!" He adds as the guards open the door.
"That's why we're here. To figure that out." She says walking in and to the left as Relon goes around the right.
The interior has sliding door frames, each with the Inazuma symbol, and numerous lanterns on the floor as well as other accessories scattered about.
Reuniting, both look forward for Relon to widen. Seated around the room; those of Electro. Keqing, Fischl, Beidou, Lisa, Razor, and Sara. Hu Tao taking a seat in between Razor and Sara. And directly in front of him, sits Yae Miko and Qiqi at the head table. A paintbrush in hand as the kitsune tends to the rectangular paper before her on the short table. Finishing with a dip of her brush before returning it to its canister, her purple eyes lock onto his vermilion.
"Two words." She speaks, resting her intertwined fingers in front of her face. "What do you have to say for yourself?" Her tone curious.
Say for myself? What does she mean by that? In two words, no less?
It would seem you are being tested.
Glancing from her to Qiqi, he gazes into the child's eyes. Sadness, hurt, a sense of loneliness comes as does a pang of guilt. Returning to Miko, she raises her brows awaiting his answer. Looking at the others wearing mixed expressions except Hu Tao wearing a look of jovialness respectively.
Hmm, I see.
So I take it you've seen through it?
I think so. He bobs his head side-to-side before taking a seat on the floor, a coy grin forming from Miko.
"Two words, huh?" He quips rolling his arms.
"Indeed."
"Okay." He opens his arms. "I'm home." He greets.
"RELON!"
The first to lunge is Qiqi. Her tiny form tackling her brother as he feels her face nuzzle his chest. Soon the rest join in. Keqing, Fischl, Razor, and Hu Tao swarming the boy from all sides.
"Guys, hey! Hahaha, I can't move! Hu Tao, you've already hugged me plenty!"
"La, la, la la la~. I can't hear you~."
"You're kidding right?" Keqing laughs. "After leaving us to work for a year, you have a lot to make up for!"
"Time spent training not same without best friend. We make up time together!"
"The threads of fate remain in tact so we must renew our bond, my ever faithful partner!"
"Razor, Fischl, come on! I'm not going anywhere! Just let me gooooooo!"
"NO!"
"Ah, children." Lisa hums. "They can't hold back their giddiness~."
"You're quite happy yourself." Beidou smirks. "I haven't seen you smile like that in quite a while."
"Hmmmm, is that so? Hehe, I wonder~."
"There's no getting through you." Beidou chuckles.
Finally being released from his friends, Relon takes sight of the tengu warrior before him. Seeing her stoic demeanor remain, the others step away.
"Relon Lucinance." She begins with crossed arms.
"Sara Kujou." He responds with a hand at his hip, the mention of her name causes the woman to smile albeit for a brief moment before it subsides.
"Answer me this…" Noting her hands gripping herself tightly, his own gaze hardens. "How much… do you remember?" She pushes through, her question causing all eyes to follow back on Relon.
"Hmpf." He snorts, closing his eyes for a moment. "I was wondering when that was going to get brought up." He walks past her towards Miko. "Honestly, I still have a crap ton of amnesia, but… I've recalled a few things." He adds turning to face everyone as he stands next to Miko.
"Such as?" The kitsune wonders with a raised brow.
"One word; flattery." He says eyeing the woman and Lisa, both widening slightly. "Not to mention the breathing exercises you've taught me." He continues.
"Oh? Interesting… Go on, what else?"
"You also mentioned something of our 'favorite- Mmfff?!" Cut off by a hand covering his mouth, his eyes go to Miko.
"About. The. Others." Miko hisses in a voice dark and ominous tone as she releases his mouth.
"Sheesh. say that sooner, Miko." He breathes in relief.
"Hmpf. Don't spout things others don't need to know."
Rolling his eyes, he focuses on Lisa before continuing.
"Are you still training in the rain? You better not have caused any trouble and gotten sick." He gives a slight pout in worry, his words making the catalyst-user widen for the second time as a warm smile graces her features.
"Teehee, it seems I'm in for a scolding~."
"By your one and only little helper." He adds for her to widen now three times. "Yeah. I remember my nickname too." He grins. "18 years old, an adult now mind you, and I'm still considered little. Hehe, I'll deal with you later Lisa."
"... Ha, I look forward to it Relon." Her kind smile remaining intact as he nods turning to Beidou.
"Beidou."
"What's up?" She gives a look of confidence with crossed arms.
"You better not have built that ship without me." He blandly remarks copying the pirate.
Furrowing for a sliver of a moment at the sudden shift in attitude, a chuckle escapes the woman.
"Haha… Hahahaha! Damn, you got me good there, Relon!" She bursts out even slapping her knee. "Ahhh, damn straight! I've been waiting for your return so we could start! Been adjusting the blueprints ever since you disappeared. Glad you remember me."
"How could anyone forget captain such as yourself? Whether drunk or not." He mutters going to Fischl.
About to speak, she beats him to the punch.
"Answer me this!" She demands pointing a finger at him with a serious tone, Oz perched atop her shoulder. "Who am I?"
"... That depends. Am I speaking to Fischl, the Prinzessin der Veruteilung…" He pauses noting of hope filling her eyes. "Or Amy, the kind girl who revealed a side of herself hidden away by others?" He smiles, his arms outstretched as Fischl immediately crashes into him.
Retaining his gentle smile, he returns the trembling girl's embrace. Only the soft whispers of his words help in easing her. After a moment she pulls away wiping a tear from her eye sniffling.
"Thou pact has been renewed…" She whimpers out.
"And from this day forth, it'll remain stronger than ever before." He nods confidently, looking to an already slightly emotional Keqing.
"Don't even start!" She dismisses averting her gaze.
Feeling something swell, he hops forward to her side.
"Seriously?" He wonders, his voice making her eyes open to the sight of him for the electro-user to turn to the other side.
"We don't see each other in a year and this is how you wanna act?" He chuckles moving to her other side. "A second ago you were happy to see me."
"I am overjoyed but now joy has been over washed by the last year of headaches I've accumulated because of your absence!" She snaps to him, Relon taking sight of her eyes slightly red as are her cheeks.
"Hmm, is that so?" He eases, raising back up.
"Yes!" She exclaims giving his chest with a hard tap. "The numerous requests, the architectural layout and expansion of the cities much less the island, the soldiers both retiring and joining the army, the meetings- Oh my goodness THE MEETINGS!" She widens, every topic having been a harder poke with Relon on the receiving end. "Do you know how much of a headache tactical meetings are with both our Archon and our voice of reason gone?! No one to tend to the drunk Beidou, no one to get Lisa to stop her reading, no one to reel Razor in from smelling a meal, no one to handle Fischl being… well Fischl, Miko is too busy tending to her publishing works leaving it all up to only Sara and I and… and.." Having begun to get teary-eyed as sniffles escape one after another, Keqing looks up to meet Relon's look of concern.
Balling a fist, she cannot swing it nor does she want much less have the strength to. Resting it against Relon, she presses her forehead to his chest.
"And we didn't know what to do without you." She whimpers in a low, tired voice. "I didn't know what to do."
Wrapping his arms around her, he speaks.
"I'm sorry, Keqing. You've been working hard again, haven't you?" A subtle nod accompanied by a sniffle. "I can't turn back time but… I can certainly start making up for what's been lost." Raising her head to meet his determined look, she doesn't flinch as he wipes the tears from the corner of her eyes. "Does that sound fair?"
"... Acting all cool out of nowhere. You're never fair." She mutters, fixing herself.
"Haha, my apologies Keqing." He smiles, her eyes widening for a moment as he winks at her. A smile of her own following suit.
Continuing on, he lands on the lone male electro-user.
"Relon really remember me?" A tinge of worry evident on the boy's expression.
"How could I forget my only other guy friend?" Relon smiles. "It's true that much of our time is lost but I know you've stuck by Qiqi and I's side since before we went to Inazuma. If I didn't have you, who knows how much trouble I'd be in with the girls." He chuckles, Razor's eyes opening a little bit as he bites his bottom lips from quivering. "Razor." Relon gets his attention to be met with a raised hand. "I'm back with my pack." He gives a cheeky grin, a warm sensation overtaking the wolf boy as he clasps Relon's hand following by an embrace from both sides.
"Welcome back, my friend."
"It's good to be back." He nods to rest his eyes on the final electro-user.
Noting of her bothered posture and still eyes unchanged, he breathes a small sigh.
"Come."
Snapping back up, he furrow his brows at the tengu warrior departing. With little time, he follows as do the others. Watching Sara speak to two guards who hands her two swords, his curious gaze changes to confusion as she stops across the deck from Relon.
"Here." She calls tossing a sword to him.
Catching it with both hands stumbling for a moment, his confusion remains as Sara settles into a fighting stance. Catching on, he takes a step back.
"Why?!"
"Simple. Prove to me you are Relon Lucinance!" She answers before bursting forward.
With little time to react, he jumps to the side rolling across the mat halting at a knee. His eyes momentarily catching everyone situating themselves around the outer walkway.
"I haven't proved that already?!" He exclaims, raising back to his feet.
"To the others you have. But not me." Sara denounces with the blade pointed at him.
Gulping, he looks down to his trembling hands.
"If you wish for me to stop, then convince me you are him!"
Quickly raising his blade, he blocks a vertical strike. The force from Sara causing his legs to buckle as a follow-up kick sends him sliding to the other side.
"Is… is my face and voice not proof enough? Ouch." He coughs getting up.
"Not in the slightest. An enemy could easily have learned of such things through interrogation."
Twitching at the words, Relon's hand grips his wrist. A twinge of the unfamiliar emotion bubbling.
"Sara…" He murmurs, gripping the sword with both hands. "Are you insinuating that I am weak?" He raises his head revealing the scowl he now wears.
"I am insinuating that Relon Lucinance is weak. Someone you clearly are not!" She charges once more unleashing a flurry of slashes.
Growling in response, Relon can only block so many before he's grabbed and tossed over hitting the floor with a thud.
"Sara… Big brother…" Qiqi murmurs clinging to Hu Tao's robe.
"Don't worry." Miko muses, gaining her attention. "He'll be fine."
Shaking the dizziness away, he rolls over in time to meet the blade jammed where his head once was. Taking the chance to retaliate, he swings for Sara's foot to block his elbow, stopping him. Gritting his teeth as he pushes on, she kicks his arm away to pull the sword out and jam the hilt into his gut.
"Gak!" Gasping for air, he winces as Sara spins, driving the heel of her foot into his cheek sending him skidding across the tile once more.
"Ouch." Beidou winces. "Sara sure ain't holding back by the looks of it."
Snapping his eyes open to the ceiling and stars, Relon gasps for breath.
I'm getting clobbered. How the hell do I fight against someone with actual combat experience?
Relon.
Kinda getting beaten by my supposed fiance. Reaaaaaaally questioning my past decisions. What's up? He asks slowly, rolling over onto all fours.
You too have experience. Bountiful knowledge that you have gained since the beginning of your journey.
No I don't. Did you forget I have amnesia? I can't mentally remember squat.
Exactly. You cannot remember mentally but your body does physically. You have been capable of repelling Kujou's strikes for a few seconds before you are thrown off.
My body…? He arches a tired brow slowly turning to face Sara.
Yes. Your mind and body are two united under one. Such as with your earlier escape, let it flow naturally. Find the pattern in your opponent and break through. Do that and you shall find a way.
I'll try. Thanks, Ei. Feeling the Goddess' presence recede, he steadies his gaze from Sara back to the blade. My mind and body, huh? Another cough. First, I need to steady my breath- Halting the thought on a dime, his eyes widen to look at Miko wearing a sly smirk before returning to his sword.
"Let's practice our breathing exercises. Ready?"
I get it. Residing from his stance, he takes a deep breath for the others to look on curiously before they recognize his next action in mild surprise. One. Two. One. Two. One. Two. Three… He breathes calmly. My body remembers what my mind cannot. Eyes focused on his short blade, he releases a hand to rotate his other gripping the sword at odd angles. Find what feels the most comfortable. Twirling the blade, he stops holding it in a reverse grip. Her blade is longer than mine, did she give this to me on purpose…?
Narrowing for a moment, he swings the air.
I feel more fluid than before. This can work hopefully. Okay…
"Here goes nothing!" He mutters readying himself.
"Have you gotten enough rest? I won't allow you to have another break!" Sara calls bursting forward.
"One way to find out!" He retorts, his body tensing as she readies another vertical slice.
Here she comes!
Blocking the first, Sara pushes Relon off his feet following up with a horizontal strike. Widening at the incoming blade, he clenches his teeth. Instinctively tossing his blade into his other hand, he narrowly blocks it.
Now's my chance!
With Sara's front exposed, he doesn't hesitate in delivering a kick launching off her abdomen to flip away sending Sara skidding to the outer border.
"Alright, he landed a clean hit!" Keqing cheers.
"It seems all of that training we've done together is coming back." Lisa smiles.
"Go Reloooooon!" Hu Tao hollars as Qiqi gives a small smile.
"Don't get full of yourself for landing a single blow." Sara calls walking back. "Now I don't have to hold back!"
Kicking off the ground, she appears in front of him to his surprise. Raising his blade, the sudden force sends him back. Looking to Sara already on him, Relon readies himself as he goes on the defensive blocking the onslaught of strikes.
Damn it, she's attacking from all angles. No, stay calm! Find the pattern! Up, right, left, behind, turn, up, left, right, behind… turn!
In doing so, his blade cuts through the air towards an unsuspecting Sara in the middle of prepping her next strike.
"Got her!" Razor exclaims.
"Hmpf!"
A loud cling sounds as all spectators look to the two blades locked against the other.
"Tch, thou feathered warrior be as skilled as suspected." Fichl clicks in annoyance.
"What did you expect, milady?" Oz quips.
"For her to not be so hard on him!" She complains to the group's amusement.
CLING!
Refocusing, they see both blade twirl in the air with their owners leaning back.
"Tch!" Both click, Sara landing to burst for as Relon flips to do the same.
Reaching his first, he immediately reels his foot back launching it at Sara's, sending both blades out of bounds.
"That's a certified Relon move right there!" Keqing quips.
"HA!" Both shout throwing a punch to catch the other's.
"Huh? Wait, that should be the match, shouldn't it? They're both disarmed!"
"You're correct but it seems they're too engrossed into it now. Ah, young love~."
"You're not that much older, you know Lisa." Keqing sweatdrops.
"Hmm? Did you say something?" She hums innocently.
"No. Nevermind."
Exchanging a series of punches and kicks, Relon ducks her leg to pivot retaliating with his own. Raising her arms to block, Sara's launched off and out of bounds and through the building doors.
"Got her!" Razor pumps a fist.
"Oof. That one must have stung." Beidou quips with a whistle. "Welp, that's game I suppose."
"No one stated anything about out of bounds, now did we?" Miko gives the two a look.
BOOM!
All look as the doors erupt, the guards moving out of the way.
"Uh-oh." Beidou blinks.
Readying himself, his eyes widen as his head instinctively snaps to the right in time to avoid an arrow lodge itself into the estate's wall. Snapping back, he drops to the floor narrowly avoiding a volley of arrows propel his direction.
"I told you I would stop holding back. I am a woman of my word. Relon Lucinance would know that." Out of the building walks Sara with her bow in hand.
"Whoever said I doubted you?" He retorts eyeing her weapon. "Moreover, since when were we using personal weapons?"
"None stated we couldn't." She aims as Relon gets to his feet.
Ei… a little more help would be great right about now…
Nearing him, her wings appear before with a mighty flap, Relon is knocked off the deck and onto the ground.
"Ouch." He grunts quickly getting up.
Focus on the image of our Engulfing Lightning. It shall heed your call.
"Engulfing Lightning? What kind of name is that?!" He dives into a roll before taking off as Sara takes aim.
Looking to the approaching wall, he jumps landing atop it.
"Think, think, think! Purple staff!"
Polearm. She corrects.
"Oh my God!" He groans, pivoting his body avoiding the arrows. "I… can't… think… like this…! Argh!" He growls, catching an arrow to Sara's shock.
Spinning with the momentum, he returns it for Sara to jump back.
Now! Extending his right hand, he closes his eyes calming his breath.
"Don't think I'll just stand by and let you!" Sara cuts in firing.
Opening his eyes, he dives towards the ground to move past some guards.
I can't focus like this! I need to buy myself time! Sidestepping on a dime to avoid another arrow, his eyes take sight of the two swords. There's my chance! Hurrying, he's swept off his feet crashing into the wall obstructed by some bushes.
Flapping towards the ground, Sara takes aim at the downed protagonist..
"Give up."
"Sorry… that isn't in my vocabulary!" Relon snaps, throwing an arrow at the woman.
Sidestepping out of the way, she can only watch as he bolts past her skidding to grab both swords before stopping to a halt away from her.
He hid an arrow I shot previously…
"Is that all you can do?" She gives a brief smile. "If so, that's a shame. Relon Lucinance wouldn't even be the slightest bit ready to throw in the towel."
About to retort with a smart-minded response, he pauses to take note of himself. Aside from a few cuts to his clothing and some dirt mixed with light bruises, he wasn't even tired. Breathing, yes, but that was solely due to the adrenaline.
"Huh. Interesting." He quips returning to eye Sara, both swords in hand. One in a normal fashion and the short in its reverse grip.
"It seems you can after all." A smile creeps back onto her face. "Good."
I only have one chance…
Sucking in a large breath, he exhales through his teeth steadying his gaze.
"I say I'm going to call forth our weapon."
"And I say I won't let you." Sara responds not missing a beat.
"We'll just have to see about that, now won't we?" He wonders, both readying themselves for Relon to throw the short blade. Pivoting out of the way, she looks back to see the longer sword come hurling her direction. Ducking under, she raises up to Relon gone.
He went to the roof! She thinks, flapping her wings to zoom up to widen at the boy missing. Where?! Looking frantically all around the area, her eyes take sight of the others rooting. Don't tell me!
Zooming to a halt aiming her arrow as she nears, Sara halts just off the ground about to fire to look as electricity arcs in all directions. At the center of the deck stands Relon with electricity coursing around his palm.
"Tch!" Taking aim, she fires for a bright purple flash to obstruct everyone's view.
Light fading, Sara lowers her arm to look. Poised at the ground where an arrow split perfectly down the middle lays the weapon of the almighty Raiden Shogun securely in Relon's grasp.
"Looks like I win this time, Sara." A grin only that of a jovial child could wear graces his features.
"... Haha. It would seem so." She responds dematerializing her bow, a satisfied smile gracing her own features. "You've bested me once again, Relon."
Walking his way as the others hurry, each could only think of the same feeling they felt. The joy they felt now that their family was reunited.
A/N: Don't any of you dare say "what about Raiden?" She's inside Relon. It counts lol.
AndyKurosaki98: An update right after I caught up with the story, that's dope. Really enjoying this story so far.
Haha, love that feeling. Here, have another XD.
MagicalMagician28: First, congratulations on almost reaching 30k views. That's amazing. In the Genshin fanfiction fandom there really isn't that many stories being written, especially longer form novels such as...
Many thanks for your kind words. Hearing such praise literally made me giddy like a child as I reach while working at my job. Grammar is indeed a small issue I always run into at some point in some form. Improvements are always being tweaked so I shall continue to better myself in that department.
As for your worry over the harem, I completely understand your worry. A part of me wishes to simply say you needn't but I myself am not confident in ensuring such balance within the story. Very few Genshin characters are on my favorite's list. Hu Tao and Ei are obviously a part of the harem and as stated before, have major roles like other characters besides being in love with Relon.
I shall state this; when it comes to harems, both those I publish and don't publish. I attempt to give a good balance to the characters. Both those who have appeared since chapter one and those whom may appear near the end of the story. I make no guarantees but whether a part of the harem or not; each character will get their equal fill of the spotlight. That is my upmost goal right next to making this a story for many to enjoy.
Temsen: Relon is understandably upset. Though I get the feeling he's gonna feel like a dick if he gets the memories back. Well, didn't even take that long, heh.
A part of me wanted this rebellious Relon to last longer but it just doesn't fit his role/character at this given point. And as stated in this chapter, he's a stranger to being mad. At least from he can recall, his first time being made was during his time with the cryo army. That and being upset simply won't fix his situation. Make him stronger yes, but anger cannot solve all problems which Relon realizes. Memories makes the Relon so we'll just have to wait and see what kind of person he becomes when they do come back fully. Whoops, did not mean to go on a tangent.
