A/N: I realized this story is at 88k and not 90k words so here's a snippet of the meeting chapter. Till next time~

Book One: Chapter Twenty-One

[Sibling Promise]

Feeling sleep slowly release its grasp, Relon's eyes steadily blink open to the sight of his bed's… roof? A transparent purple cloth drapes from the top down the front and sides. Giving a few blinks as his mind adjusts, his brows furrow at the odd realization.

"Where am I?" He mutters aloud to feel a small weight at his side.

Giving a momentary glance, his confusion ceases for a heartwarming smile to grace his features. Resting peacefully on a pillow next to him lies Qiqi. Caressing her head, he eases himself taking in the room.

Unlike the rooms he's previously awoken in, there are very few, though vast, differences. For starters, the rooms he had found himself in before were much smaller. More normal sized for a bedroom. Likely a guest room if he had to take a gander. This one however felt as though it was an entire floor by itself. Secondly, the bed he and Qiqi were in literally spanned to nearly half of the room! Who in their right mind needed such a big bed? He moved a lot in his sleep when not cuddling a pillow or his sister but this was ridiculous! To both sides of the bed were shelves, closets, and a desk. Finally, there was the bed itself. It screamed royalty and even more so Ei herself. Same variants of purple and Inazuman-design, it would take an idiot to not see the parallels.

He was clearly in Ei's home as the interior was exactly the same but why was he in this room?

Ahh, how I've missed my bedroom. The voice of Ei speaks as if stretching.

This is your room? Then why am I-

It is now your room given my circumstances, no?

Huh. You're right. Wait, not the point! Why…?

Why to awakening in here as opposed to the guest rooms or why to the circumstances surrounding this room location?

So his earlier guess was right. Go figure.

Both.

As for the first, the simple answer would be as I've already stated. This is now your room as opposed to a guest room given the obvious. As simple as you may be with your personal lifestyle, such things are quite different when one such as I holds a divine status.

So Miko said no more simple beds. Got it.

As for the latter, my personal room is located closer to the base of the tower. You and Miko had actually passed it on the way to the bath earlier.

Wait, we did? Guess I was so lost in talking that I didn't notice…

It would do no good to draw attention on a higher floor should an enemy decide to attack. Hence my room's location.

Not responding to the sense made, his mind thinks of Ei asleep in said room being located at the top for the tower to topple over.

Yeah. Good point.

Indeed. Though congratulations are in order for a successful mission well done.

As soon as his mind comprehends her words, it dawns on him.

"We did it…!"

Even though he managed to hold back his glee, the sound was still enough to cause a mumble to escape the young girl.

"Mmm…" Groggy vermilion eyes greets another more awake pair as she slowly rises up observing their surroundings.

In doing so, Relon can only chuckle at the girl's tired mannerism as he picks at the few strands of her bed hair.

"Sleep well?"

"Mhmm…" She answers instinctively leaning, more so falling, onto his side for support.

Amused by the nostalgia, what follows next leaves him surprised for only a moment.

"I knew you'd come back." She murmurs nuzzling further into his touch.

Blinking for only a moment, a warm smile graces his lips as he tightens the embrace with his arm.

"I promised, didn't I?"

"Mm." She nods, hugging her brother.

"I'm not going anywhere this time, Sis."

"Where you go, I go?"

As soon as those words leave her mouth, everything pauses. His smile, the force behind their embrace, all of it. Surely by now, Qiqi knew the implications behind saying such a thing, right? She'd been trained by Sara, Miko, and the others in his absence and given her fight against the Cryo Army before their team-up, it was beyond safe to assume she knew about their future fights and the dangers that lurk.

Looking down as she looks up to meet him, he can see something either he hasn't seen before or simply cannot remember; determination. As if practically etched on her very being, he finds it hard to both avert his gaze much less blink. Feeling her small hands ball to pull the sheets slightly, he responds.

"You know what that means, don't you? The dangers that await, more fighting. Even… blood being spilled to put it lightly." He voices surprisingly leveled for a nod to come as her answer.

He'd heard bits and pieces during their trip to Eula that Qiqi was a skilled fighter on par with the others. Given bits and pieces overheard by Rosaria when she faced Qiqi as well as what he saw during their game of tag, he knew his sister wasn't the once helpless girl she was. Honestly, if it wasn't for Ei's help, he'd feel as though he was the one in need of protecting.

Focusing more on her, his mind takes in the once helpless Qiqi. Her famous tired attitude remained very much at the front but now this new personality, a persona if you will, had recently become aware of the male. Her reserve-nature vanished without a trace leaving behind a Qiqi that was so energetic, so focused. Comparing both, they felt so much more different than he originally a low breath, his demeanor lifts.

"Alright." He relents. "Where I go, you go. We're sticking together no matter what. Sounds good?"

"Pinky promise?" She holds a finger with hope visible in her red eyes.

"Jeez, I feel like I've been making a lot of those lately." He chuckles. "I will if you promise to be careful and follow a given plan." The slight pout he got at his words told plenty of things regarding the girl that he'd recently learned but considering she wasn't backing down, there was nothing more to add.

He'd ask for her to not be so reckless and a few other things but there was just one thing stopping him from speaking further; she was his sister. They were both stubborn in their own rights and that was something he couldn't fix. No matter how much he may reinforce the issue at hand.

Grasping her finger with his own, he smiles "Pinky promise."

Looking at the pact, a smile breaks out onto the child's face as she tackles her brother into a hug. The sheer force nearly causing him to topple over.

Are you sure about this? I did not expect you to accept so quickly.

I am. A lot has happened over the course of a single year. Eventually, whether sooner or later, our fights will become tough to a point that we'll need all the help we can get. Considering her skills, I'm confident my sister can hold her own.

Are you implying that based on learned information or brotherly instinct?

For a moment, he doesn't respond, instead looking down to the happy smile plastered on her face.

Both. Much can come from leaving her behind when danger looms but… I feel having her at my side will help alleviate whatever trials come our way. I have her back and Qiqi has mine. All that's left now…

Cutting in on his thoughts, the doors to the room open with a slight creak gaining Qiqi's attention. Walking in, a smiling Miko stands before them. He doesn't have to look down as Qiqi's grip retightens, knowing what's to come.

"Good morning, children. I hope you both slept well." She greets in her casual tone. "As much as I'd love to chitchat, we have a busy day ahead of us so chop chop. The meeting between the Electro Army and Cryo Army shall soon be underway."

AndyKurosaki98: So we're back, and it's a long one so here we go...

I legit did a spittake when I saw the size of this and almost let loose another when I got to the part about the uncles lmao.

Alrighty. Relon's getting back into things with Ei's help. Still needs to get the fundamentals but it's progress nonetheless. Kaeya would indeed be proud XD. Harem definitely gonna be brought up at the coming meeting. Some answers are definitely overdue at this point. Gotta get the harem started sooner or later with the others if I do say so haha. Took a lot of self control to not congratulate you on Ayaka so I can now! Though we'll have to see if that applies to the others... Love the persona reference (very nice). Ei controlling him is going to be an important trait in the story so glad that was pointed out. Queen of Vengeance is back and ready to slay. As for Relon, well. His moment of reprieve is only that. Back into chaos we go!

Thank you, my friend, for the kind review.

Guest B: I feel bad for Chongyun man lol. To his right, two boozehounds. To his left, the triple threat of terrible temperatures. And oh yeah, a friggin DemiArchon.
Somebody save the poor general.

Good chapter, good fight, see you next time.

Note to self; give... Chongyun... a break... Haha, joke aside, he honestly needs it.

Thank ya, thank ya. Till next time.

TemsenDamn: what a monster chapter. It was great!
Though going into a cryo domain with almost a full cryo team wasn't exactly the smartest choice in hindsight. :P
Relon is totally a harem protagonist and Ei absolutely wanted to experience that firsthand!

I legit didn't even think of it as a domain. You're so right too XD.
