Izumi ordered Kiyosho to remain with Chiase until further instructions. When the time came for them to leave she would send Jaken to take them to their home in the west.

She had more than half a mind to figure out which guards had taken Chiase from the great hall beaten and raped to keep her locked away but knew they had only been following orders.

Calling Tadao to the conference room she refused to sit in her fathers chair. Standing at the front of the room she let Jaken relay to Riku, Iku, and Tadao their findings.

"Lady Izumi, this Tadao takes full responsibility for not keeping Lady Chiase safe." The Captain said regrettably.

"We need to all stop taking the blame for the things Akio did on his own." Riku stated slowly.

"Captain Tadao, does the former lord have many supporters in the east?" Izumi asked.

"Not many but there are small handfuls of groups." Tadao replied.

"If it were to be found out that he had a son I fear those who support Akio would take the pup and use him for political reasons." Izumi said. "Which is why both Chiase and her son will be returning with our compound in the west. They will be safe and away from all of this."

"Yes my lady." Tadao gave a brief nod.

"Captain, I am sorry for what happened to your daughter but know that she will be protected from this day onward." Izumi stated.

Rin looked quickly to Izumi her eyes wide in surprise.

"Thank you Lady Izumi. I will inform my mate that Chiase has decided to return to your service." He said.

"This information does not leave this room." Izumi commanded. "We are sworn to this, delicate matter, to keep it silent and secret. If any reveal what has been disclosed here today they will face punishment."

Receiving silence in return she took a breath. "Dismissed."

"Izu, lets go to our children. I'm sure they miss us." Rin said.

"I will be along Rin. You go. I need some alone time." Izumi replied walking out of the room briskly; she had to go to Akios former chambers.

Placing her hands on the handles she pulled the large double doors open closing them behind her. It was dark as the curtains had been drawn and the windows shuttered close.

Moving into the room she turned around looking at the different swords and shields he had acquired from different enemies he had fell.

She could recall once being in her fathers room for a brief moment where he had brought her in. It had been after her mother died, a good century afterwards, and she suddenly felt ill.

He had asked her how she had been, which she had been happy that he was showing interest in her as he rarely seemed to do.

Izumi turned to where the futon was remembering he had told her to sit on it, to be more comfortable. He had sat beside her and was ready to say something when Kiyoshi and Iku had burst into the room leaving her extremely confused when she was taken away and back to her own chambers.

"What were you going to do to me?" She questioned the empty room clenching her hands into fists. "Iku said they didn't trust you with me…were you going to…"

Staring at the ceiling she became enraged. "How dare you! How dare you take my mother…my friend! Who else was there?! How many?!"

Her gaze falling to the large mirrored wall Izumi let out a howl of anger watching her own reflection advance towards her pulling her fist back she punched the glass.

Watching as it shattered to pieces she proceeded to shatter the other mirrors. Picking up two large broken pieces she shredded the curtains and smashed the windows.

With her claws she ripped apart the futon, the blankets and pillows. She pulled down the swords and shields throwing them around.

Collapsing on the floor she howled in rage. Bringing her hands to her face she folded in on herself so that her forehead was nearly touching the floor.

"I'm here love." She minutely heard Kohaku over the sound of her wracking sobs. Feeling his familiar touch on her shoulders as he pulled her to sit up he pulled her hands away from her face.

Inspecting them he ripped parts of his cloak off wrapping her hands with the fabric to stop the bleeding. She sat as he went to the door and ordered someone to fetch Iku.

"Come here beautiful girl." Kohaku coaxed drawing her closer to him. Collapsing against her husband he wrapped his arms around her securely.

"I had to…destroy him." She managed out. "He was a terrible person. He hurt everyone in so many ways…I want him erased."

"No one can undue all of the centuries that Akio was in power but we can help the people here heal from it." Kohaku said. "Lets get out of here."

Assisting her to stand he watched as she looked around the room.

"From this moment on I will not spare you another thought. You do not deserve it." She said following Kohaku out as he led her.
