Hello dear readers. Mixed feelings on the last couple of chapters, which I expected.

I had someone message me saying that Rin being involved is disgusting and gross, they told me to rewrite the chapter and take her out.

For me that would defeat the purpose of the story. I have some themes going on within this fic. One of those is being comfortable with yourself and your sexuality. Loving someone regardless of gender and having a flexible relationship that is safe and healthy.

Someone else asked if this means Kohaku and Rin will be having a kid together, since everyone is so comfortable with one another. The answer is no. You can be in an intimate relationship with a member of the opposite sex and not get pregnant.

Being led by Riku, Sesshomaru and Izumi made their way down the halls to where they would meet with the others.

Two guards opened the large doors for them to enter the empty hall where they made their ways to the front to sit.

Sesshomaru sat in the chair Rin had been in the night before to sit beside Izumi.

"The lords and ladies will be notified, my lady." One of the guards stated.

"See that they are and summon Captain Tadao, he should be present as well." Izumi commanded. With a bow the guard left. Riku stood on Izumis left side standing at attention. "Riku, where is Jiro?"

"This one is uncertain Lady Izumi." He replied with a small smirk. "He was informed to accompany you alongside myself."

Summoning another guard she ordered to find Jiro to bring him. With a respectful bow the guard left while the two others outside closed the doors.

"Jiro will be spoken to regarding his conduct." Riku said.

"It is fine Riku. Before long we will be back home and be done with all of these ridiculous formalities." Izumi said.

Seeing him nod as the doors were opened with Tadao and Jiro entering to escort three lords and one lady, being Zero.

"Thank you for meeting with us Lady Izumi, Lord Sesshomaru." One of the lords said as they knelt respectfully on the floor.

Jiro stood beside Sesshomaru standing straight as Tadao stood beside Izumis chair.

"I understand that there are some matters you all wish to discuss." Izumi said. As the three lords looked to one another seeming uncertain Zero spoke up.

"The half-breeds. None of us will allow such abominations to exist." She stated. The tension in the air grew thick quickly at her words.

"Tell this one, Lady Zero, what you will do then?" Izumi narrowed her eyes at them all. "Will you engage us in war? Or go after our young like cowards?"

"Enough of this nonsense." Sesshomaru stood quickly and stood before her in an instant. Grasping her by the throat he held her up. "You dare to threaten what belongs to this Sesshomaru?"

"Do it and it will be your females and your offsprings heads, dog." Zero spat out.

"You are in no position to threaten me." Sesshomaru growled out tossing her aside. "None of you are. Go back to whatever holes you crawled out of."

"Does Lord Kirinmaru know that you are here, Zero? He pledged his allegiance to the heir of the eastern house and the western one. It may be within our best interest to bring in the beast king to see what he has to say." Izumi said.

"My brother is a fool. You may have pulled the fleece over all of the other idiots eyes but I am well aware that the heir is nothing more than a means for you both to continue on with this perverse lifestyle." Zero shot back at them.

"Riku, escort them out of the east." Izumi set her jaw feeling her muscles clench.

"With pleasure my lady." Riku stated calling Jiro to him and two other guards.

"You will pay for disrespecting me!" Zero shouted. "Mongrels! What you are doing is a crime against nature itself." With the doors shutting closed Izumi closed her eyes placing a hand to her chest.

"I was not bred for this." She whispered out. "I cannot do this. They'll come for us. What have I done?"

"Nothing." Sesshomaru said. Opening her eyes to look at him she took a deep breath. "You are right, however. They will come for us."

"Lady Izumi." Tadao placed his hand on her shoulder. "If you permit this one to continue in your stead I suggest you return to the west with a few more soldiers for protection."

"There is no need. I am more than capable along with my beta male and the others to defend our compound." Sesshomaru said.

"Very well Lord Sesshomaru." Tadao nodded. "Know that this Tadao will defend your land just as fervently as this one, if need be."

"Understood." Sesshomaru said. As Izumi stood she turned to Tadao.

"Thank you."

"Take Chiase and help her. Treat her and her pup well." Tadao said.

"We will." Izumi nodded leaving the great hall behind her.
