Nen went to the trading post with Nagi, Rina, and her parents. It was decided that he would be relieved in a weeks time by another.

Kino volunteered stating that she had traded with humans in the past and spent time in places such as the one close to them.

Sana began to drink tea and eat foods that would boost her fertility to ensure a successful conception over the course of three days before she and Jiro decided to go to their cave to make good on their announcement.

"Sana, there is something I want to ask you." Jiro said as they sat together by the pond. He had built a small fire by digging out the ground as they watched the sunset.

"Alright." Turning to him he seemed to be struggling as he stared ahead over the water. "You can ask me anything, you know that, yes?"

"Yes. I don't want you to feel as you owe me anything or are obligated…"

"Jiro I want to have your pup." Sana said. "Thank you for being so patient with me while I took my time. I know you have been eager."

"It isn't that." Jiro nearly whispered out. "When I pup you I want to be in my natural form."

"Are you worried that I won't accept you Jiro? I hope you know that I do, in every way." Sana replied.

"This is going to sound wrong but I have no other way to say it so…here it is. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with me."

"Well, given the situation, I think it has…a lot to do with me." Sana teased gently. Smirking Jiro turned to her.

"I have not been in my natural state in a very long time. The thought of it, it makes me anxious and I feel as if I am in the wrong for appearing that way." He explained.

"From when you were younger." Sana concluded. "You were taught to look like a human."

"Yes. It took me some time fo learn how to transform, to look like this. When I couldn't it meant that not only was I beaten but Nen was also even though he caught on quickly."

"They used my brother against me to try to train me." Jiro closed his eyes. "Nen can heal himself so his scars aren't physical but I never could so mine, they will always be there."

"Oh my darling." Reaching out to him Sana gathered her husband in her arms.

Resting his head against her shoulder she tightened her embrace. "I would give anything to be able to go back and save you both from all of the pain and torment you went through when you were so small."

"The road was not easy but it led me here, to you. For that I am grateful." Jiro said softly.

"Me too." Sana agreed. "I want you to be comfortable with me in every way. You can trust me, I promise to take very good care of you mate."

"You have not disappointed yet." Jiro removed his head from her to rest his forehead against hers. "My sunflower."

"You can practice before we do anything. Just to relax and become familiar again with yourself." She suggested. "There is no rush."

"That sounds like a great idea." Nodding his head slightly he reached up a hand stroking her cheek with one of his claws lightly.

"I am happy that you want to show yourself to me. Besides Lord Sesshomaru and you I have seen everyone from our original group in their real form. I love your eyes, they're stunning, and your marks…you are beautiful Jiro so I can only imagine what you look like in your natural state."

"You saw Nen in his so I'm assuming like that."

"But it wasn't you. Even though you both are nearly identical I think that you are by far the most handsome." Smiling widely as she spoke Jiro let out a soft laugh.

"You are beautiful because you are mine."

"You have no idea how you make me feel when you say that." Catching his lips with hers she kissed her mate deeply.

Returning it Jiro growled deep in his chest. Drawing her closer to him as he wrapped his arms around her she moaned softly into their kiss. Breaking apart he let her loose.

Backing up from her slightly he stood taking a steadying breath.

"I can do this." He said more to himself than to her. Closing his eyes he felt himself begin to tremble as a knot formed in his stomach thst rose up into his throat.

Swallowing it down and clearing his throat he cleared his mind summoning his energy to shift him. Sana watched as his features began to change.

Around them it seemed as if a sudden gust of wind had picked up that tossed the flames of their small fire sending sparks soaring upwards.

Clenching and unclenching his fists Sana became worried that the change for him was to much or painful being he was out of practice.

She had witnessed many times Iku and Emi transform before her eyes effortlessly, with Emi often appearing human as she touched down to the ground after flying.

An aura surrounded Jiro fully engulfing him so that she was not able to see him.

"Jiro!" She called out standing clutching a hand to her kimono top becoming fearful for his well being.

Just as quickly as it began it ended. The odd wind died down instantly and the aura all but vanished leaving Jiro sitting where he had been standing fully transformed, still with his eyes closed.

"Oh, I was worried that something had gone wrong." Sana said approaching him. He remained stark still as she walked over to him, albeit for his deep breathing. "Jiro, are you alright?"

Opening his eyes as she knelt down in front of him she was met with the most amazing violet she had ever seen, much more pronounced in his full demon form.

Nodding his head once she reached out her hand to him feeling him tremble under her palm. "You're safe. It's alright." She soothed.

Nuzzling his snout against her hand she marveled at the softness of his fur and the color of it. When he appeared human his hair was brown but his fur was almost a honey color, not quite brown or yellow.

His red markings stood out on his fur where they normally were on his skin when he did a partial transformation. Running her fingers down she felt the spots where his scars were as his fur was shorter.

His ears were pointed and laid back somewhat displaying how nervous he was. "Sit with me by the fire some more my darling. I want to look at the stars with you."

Glancing up at the sky as some began to come out Jiro nodded. Both standing they sat back down where they had been. Hesitantly Jiro laid his head down in Sanas lap as she stroked his ears softly.
