After the events that had happened Jin kept Umi with him at all times carrying her in her sling when he had to. He avoided Rina having nothing left to say to her even though he was still in considerable shock over it all.

He had seen her the day before he and Nen had left back to the compound and found Nozumi. She didn't appear to have had a child and wasn't showing any signs of concern or discomfort.

Shaking his head he glanced down at his daughter as she slept peacefully close to his body and he sighed tucking her blanket closer to her face.

Standing closer to the path that led back to the compound than the trading post he brought his gaze to it wanting to leave.

"One more day and Kino will relieve us. I don't know about you but I'm ready to go home." He said to her. "Next time I'll leave you with someone there so you never have to come down here again."

"Hey Jin." Nagi called from behind him. Jin was still at odds with himself over telling Nagi what he knew.

Despite that he had initially promised Rina he wouldn't he knew this was so much more important than a simple broken promise.

If she did it again he would never be able to forgive himself for not saying something.

Turning he gave a curt nod.

"Hey Nagi." He replied.

"How come you've been bringing her out here the last few days? Let Rina watch her. She likes kids." Nagi offered.

Taking a breath Jin felt his stomach knot. Clearing his throat he set his jaw.

"I have to tell you something…about Rina." Jin said. Cocking a brow at Jin Nagi crossed his arms over his front.

"You the expert on women now?" Nagi joked.

"I am being serious." Jin said. "I found out some things the other day and…look I'm not saying don't do whatever it is you two are doing but just promise me you won't have a kid with her."

"What?" Nagi questioned looking somewhat nervous suddenly.

"Marry her, mess around with her…I don't care but don't have kids with her. She would not be a good mother." Jin replied.

"I'm…not." Nagi said slowly. Sighing he closed his eyes and shook his head. "What exactly did she say to you?"

"She said she likes you and implied you are together." Jin stated.

"No. I like her, as a friend, but nothing else." Reopening his eyes Nagi sighed. "Can I be honest with you and this stays between us?"

"Sure."

"Rina is obsessed with me and it's unnerving. I have let her know I am not interested in her in any way other than a friendship and she doesn't seem to understand that." Nagi explained.

"Oh." Jin breathed out.

"I like it here but I am getting to a point I can't handle her anymore and I've been thinking about returning to the compound." Nagi said nodding his head.

"Well, you're welcome back whenever you want to return. This is a relief actually. I was worried." Jin couldn't help the grin that crept across his lips.

"What else did she say to you? Why did you say she wouldn't be a good mother?"

Glancing down at Umi he flicked his gaze quickly to Nagi.

"Between us; she admitted she's Nozumis mother."

"What?" Nagi balked as the color visibly drained from his face. Nodding Jin felt Nagi tense at his words. "There's no way. She was here and fine. Her mother tossed the place when she came back that day, inspected all of the girls…"

"But did she look into Rina or just the women that work for her?" Jin interrupted. Nagi closed his mouth with an audible pop and shook his head a few times. "Exactly. I'm going to tell the others at the compound so they know. I am tempted to tell her parents and they can deal with it on their own, however they do."

"I have never felt the urge to get the hell out of a place more than I do now." Nagi commented more to himself.

"Agreed." Jin sighed out. "I came down here to forget about things and only found more problems."

"I heard about Nen, going wherever he went to find himself or whatever it is he's doing." Nagi said.

"Yeah." Jin replied softly feeling the ache become palpable once again.

"I don't see him staying gone for that long, with how protective he is of you. Especially now that you have a kid."

"I want him back so badly, now more than ever. This information, I don't know if I can deal with any of this by myself."

"Want some advice?"

"Yes."

"Absolutely tell Lord Sesshomaru and the chief. They will more than likely tell Rin and Izumi, then let them deal with it from there."

"And her parents?"

"It might make things more complicated for you and Nozumi. You don't have any obligation to any of them down here. Share it with the pack and in turn they can help you with it all."

"Alright. That makes sense."

"When are you heading back?"

"Tomorrow. Kino is relieving me."

"Mind if I go back with you?"

"I'd appreciate it Nagi, thanks man."

"No problem." He returned with a small nod.
