Chapter 15: Firey Red Fiend.

Glad you enjoyed Lucas though I was kind of on halfsies wondering if it was good or not…
HobNob: When will the new chapter drop you ask! Hmm interesting question, and hmm I'd have to say… sometime now sounds good! What say you?
Master Hand had finally managed to remove the chair from his rear end but at the coast of his precious suit. This was very bad though, why you ask? well good question, you see the Hand is all about his image and well a large hole in the back of his pants is not good for image. He only stared down at his chair where the torn part of his pants were still glued on completely still. He stays like that for what appeared to be hours upon hours, in reality he only lasted like that for about five minutes or so before he turns dark red. He was a deep dark shade of red with patches of black spread around, his favorite suit was ruined. This day had been one disaster after another and well that can get on a guys nerves.
A loud frustrating yell echoed throughout the mansion and beyond shaking everything like an earthquake. Not only that but the lights flickered violently as all the veterans stared at each other in fear. When Master Hand last got this mad let's just say that the Smashers got a whole new meaning of the word 'torture' that day. Well now it was survival of the fittest meaning get the F#%& out of the mansion while you still have the chance, change your identity and start a new life. Of course the Elite Six were excluded because he had already teleported into the office where said fuming hand stood behind his desk. And now the Elite Six were in a sour mood to having to sit through a two hour lecture about being vigilant and keeping a close eye on everyone. And well having a fuming hand bark orders in your face is no picnic, imagine your mother yelling at you through speakers placed right in front of you. And as you can guess a certain bounty hunter seemed the most fussed out of the Six about the situation, all these disasters coming one by one was not only irritating but bad for the rep.
Now the rest of the smashers got the queue to leave when they saw even the Elite Six feared the situation that was upon then, when even someone like the fearless Samus Aran fears of a situation then you know that it is really that bad of a situation. However the rest of the smashers weren't so lucky either as for some reason the whole mansion was littered with booby traps, it was chaos.
Master Hand had ordered the Six to bring in smashers for personal interrogation as to who set a sugar induced crazy on the loose. Not only that but also used the opportunity to set up all sorts of pranks and worst of all ruined his suit, it would be a personal interogation because he knew how to personally break each and every smasher, Chilling stuff… Of course he demanded that the first interrogators be the known pranksters and trouble makers and the Six set out to find the first and foremost likely target, our favorite cartoon hero…
Now meanwhile back with the others,
Lucina had heard from Marth to evacuate the mansion until the situation at hand gets resolved because things were going to get tense. She understood and tried to flee however she saw there was a large crowd of people escaping the place. The front doors where magically sealed shut, so it was complete chaos so she decided to take the back door and she had to hurry as well before it was too late as she was in no mood to go through a freak Mansion again, so she did a mad dash towards the back of the mansion. "You're too slow!" Someone says behind her and a blue blur dashed right past her in an instant, but soon enough there was a blue hedgehog hanging from the ceiling by his foot that was caught in a rope trap. Lucina just slowly walked towards him, who looked like he was trying to hide his embarrassment, but hanging from the ceiling was not helping.
"Um, do you need help?" she asks the struggling hedgehog who was flailing around hysterically.
"Naa I. got. this." He says struggling to untie his leg, "I'm just hanging out as usual what's up with you?" he states casually and continued to struggle still avoiding her gaze. She just rolled her eyes at the hedgehog that seemed to be proud of his ego and this certainly wasn't helping. She helped by untying the ropes letting the hedgehog down and he fell to the floor with a thud. "Uh thanks I guess, but I had it handled!" he states with a sly grin and started walking back towards the chaotic lobby but she stopped him.
"Wait where you going didn't you hear, the Elite Six warned everyone that Master Hand was furious, and we have to escape before the worst should happen." She informed him and his eyes went wide and turned to face her as if she had grown a second head.
"Why wasn't I informed of this?!" he exclaims placing his hands on his head in panic and started pacing back and forth.
"Maybe it had to do with the fact that you wouldn't stop running!" Someone states from behind them when they turned to see the blue bomber.
"Mega-man what are you doing here?" Sonic asks the approching robot.
"Well everyone was making a mad dash towards the front so I decided to try out the back." he replied while also pointing a thumb behind him where a random explosion went off.
"Oh Lucina, this is Mega-Man he's one of my buddies from the tournament here." Sonic says afterwards turning to face the swordswoman. They both waved at each other and exchanged small greetings before they started to get a move on. They make it to a casual looking hallway but before anyone proceeded forward Mega-Man stopped them and tossed one of his saws down the hall, then a series of traps went off and Sonic and Lucina stared in disbelief at the death house the mansion has apparently become.
"Wow glad we ran into you MM!" Sonic says and then they resumed but slowly as there could still be more.
The Elite Six,
Well their search for Toon Link didn't go so smooth mostly because they were stopping every so often, either to help a Smasher who unfortunately fell victim to a trap, or disarm a trap. Although Samus considered it waste of time because they were bound to fall for another one anyways, but none the less the rest of them still did so. Naturally she headed off on her own afterwards this day had been a complete disaster. And when she gets her hands on whoever was responsible well let's just say they better enjoy their fun while they still can.
"Hey where Samus go?" Peach asks while they finished letting Greninja out of a fish net.
"She went off on her own, I'm not surprised though she usually is just strait up all about business." Marth replies with a sigh and they continued on they decided to head towards the control room.
"Sometimes I think she is just too serious for her own good!" Peach states afterwards while catching up to the rest.
"Well that is one of the reasons Master Hand decided to include her into the six," Link said afterwards using his boomerang to free Villager from a cage.
"Let us not forget she did go through a tragedy when she was a mere child so at least try to be a little sympathetic." Zelda adds shortly afterwards, They all stayed silent after that deep in thought and continued on their way towards their destination.
Back with the others,
Lucina and the other two were currently swinging back and forth in a net that Sonic just so clumsily happened to activate. "Hey Mega-man can't you cut us out?" Sonic said from his squished position while also squirming around a bit.
"I can't move so there is no way I can take out a saw!" Mega-man replies also squirming around a bit to get some room in the really tight enclosed net.
"Hey Lucina you fight with a sword, why don't you use it to cut us out?" Sonic asks afterwards in a desperate hope to get out of the net.
"I would love to, but unfortunately due to the recent lockdown I left it in my room" she responds. "And all this squirming around isn't really helping" she added afterwards after being kicked and smushed a few times.
"Well if you got any better ideas I'm all ears?!" Sonic exclaims while temporarily stopping his squirming.
"I'm thinking!" she responds frustratingly but in reality nothing actually came to her mind.
"Darn it MM get your butt out of my face!" Sonic says afterwards and resumed his squirming.
"Technically I don't have one" Mega-man replies as he too starts squirming hopelessly to get free.
"Guys all this squirming just makes it worse, and its starting to get- ngh nhm?!" Lucina starts but didn't exactly finish as she got a face full of Sonic quills. Just then however a bright purple laser struck the net setting them loose albeit crashing to the floor. They all look up to see a robot that was white in color with a patch of red around it.
"Oh R.O.B perfect timing thanks bud!" Sonic says relieved while getting up and dusting himself off. The robot in turn nodded its head and appeared to be scanning the hall.
"I've never seen him before who is he?" Lucina asks Sonic who looks back and forth between the two.
"Oh that's R.O.B, ya he's a Smasher same as us, only that the Elite Six use him to monitor the mansion from the control room. Since he doesn't need to take breaks, eat or sleep, he's the perfect security guard." Sonic replied.
"Oh alright explains why he is never around" she says afterwards in thought and Sonic approached the robot who seemed to be finishing its scans.
"He does sometimes go on patrol but it's only usually after cerfew or training hours." Mega-man adds and she nods her head.
"So R.O.B what are you doing here shouldn't you be in the control room?" Sonic asks in confusion patting the robot on the back.
"Affirmative, but I was given a new assignment from the Six, I am too scan the mansion for any and all traps and deactivate them. Smashers are also to report to the auditorium." He replied while pointing towards the auditorium and then left as they turned to look at one another.
"Should we really I still think getting out of here till this whole thing blows over is a good idea!" Sonic states while he placed a hand on his chin looking in thought.
"Well we shouldn't really, if we ignore the order that will most likely place us on their black list." Mega-man states while Sonic turns to look a him and then Lucina for an input.
"I agree with Mega-man, whatever is in store for us it'll be much worse if we defy them." She insists while Sonic sighs in defeat.
"Fine I guess" he mumbles and they turn and head towards the auditorium.
The Elite Six,
Samus was standing in front of the control room and her left eye was actually twitching as a murderous vibe was coming from her. All the cameras in the mansion were now covered with some gooey green substance and removing it wasn't going to be easy. So that means that they are temporarily blind at the moment unable to locate anyone or anything, so looks like whoever caused all the chaos didn't leave anything to chance, so chances of it being Toon Link were now turning slim. They called up R.O.B on his built in communicator and instructed him to bring the cameras back online.
"Who can possibly have done all this, this is way to complex and thought out for it to be Toon Link anymore?" Zelda said sitting in a nearby chair looking deep in thought.
"Well whoever it is I hope they can laugh while they still have the pleasure to do so!" Samus said in a menacing tone while still staring at the blank screens.
Meanwhile in a unknown location,
A figure was creeping down the hall he happened to make slippery and was snickering to himself, picturing the look on their face when they came tumbling down the hall. "I knew that somehow you had to do with everything" he hears a voice behind him and turned stiff seeing as he was finally caught, his stelth had finally ran out.
The figure turned but saw that nothing was there "Looking for something!" the voice said again and he turned to see a pair of large angry eyes looking at him.
"That is a good one dude how do you do that to sound just like that?" The tall figure responded amazed that this stranger could alter his voice. The little figure held up a voice filter with a smirk and then went back to glaring.
"So you think you can just come here and steal my thunder, well let me tell you something mister it will not be without a fight!" the little green figure said and took out a beam sword and activated it getting in a battle stance and gestured the other figure to bring it.
"Well a fellow pranker, so it seems you are now my new rival then, besides you aren't the only one who can seek stuff out!" The tall red figure responded and then took out it's own beam sword but that was glowing purple rather then blue.
The combatants both dashed at each other as their weapons clashed as the swooshing and electrical sounds echoed down the hall. They both clashed again as their weapons slid against one another and resumed to swing at one another and the sounds filled the air again. The small figure took out a whoopee cousin and threw it at the tall ones face and it made a loud flatulence noise upon contact. They both stop to laugh at the sound for a little while before they resumed their attacks. The tall figure managed to evade the small figures next attack who was surprisingly fast. Not only that but the little green guy was also jumping off the walls to do attacks, soon they both clashed beams again then separated. Both opponents stared at each other the small green one gave the tall one a fierce look as he started to cackle.
"I have succeeded a level of pranking that if more powerful then anyone's, even one who thinks they have mastered it all such as you!" The tall one says and then revealed a device that shocks upon impact. The difference however was that it can detach and be flanged, he did so but the short one caught it on a rubber glove. He scoffs before he then throws it back after managing to stop the electrical current. The tall figure however side stepped the thing and turned to look at the figure again who held up the rubber glove with a smirk. "Strong you are with the way of the prank!" he states as the tall figure launched another electrical projectile at him. He caught it again but this time had a little problem stopping it, but none the less did so and tossed it aside. "Much to learn you still have!" he proclaims and gripped his beam sword tightly again. The tall figure launched one final projectile but the small green one blocked it with the beam sword, then they dashed at one another once again with the swooshing filling the hall once more…
Back with the blue trio,
Lucina was following the hedgehog and blue bomber towards the auditorium since she's only been there once and doesn't know the way. "So what's your story Ms Lucina?" Mega-man turned around to face the blue haired swordswoman while walking.
"Me well to summarize it shortly, my entire nation was destroyed by an evil dragon named Grima, I managed to survive however and returned to the past to help them prevent any of that from happening, but also keeping my identity a secret by taking the name of my ancestor the Hero-King." She responded and he just silently wowed.
"Wait isn't the hero-king that Marth dude?" Sonic asked her shortly afterwards and she responded with a nod. "Explains why you look so much alike" Sonic added looking her over again.
"Yes he is my ancestor from two thousand years in the past" she says and both of them turned to face her as their eyes went wide as saucers.
"Damn that's a lot, most people don't know their ancestors from that long ago!" Sonic said afterwards as Mega-man nodded in agreement. After that they resumed their journey while bringing up conversations from time to time. When they entered the auditorium it was somewhat packed, people were there looking in bad shape and seriously pissed off. The trio however just cautiously made their way through the crowd. Lucina spotted Raven and Robin near the back and approached the tacticians who also looked a little unhappy.
"Ah Lucina glad you got out of that charade unscathed." Robin greets her as he was covered in a sticky purple substance. She just nodded while cautiously observing the substance all over him, Raven didn't seem to have anything on her but she still looked unhappy none the less as she was afterall missing her coat.
"Might I ask what happened to you both?" She asked rather curiously while Robin just cleared his throat in embarrassment and Raven crossed her arms and huffs angrily.
"We, erm, unfortunately ran into some trouble its quite a story actually heh…"
*Flashback
The Lobby was a complete mess with people running around all panicked and afraid as Robin was trying to make out his surroundings and find where to go. Before he could however a hand grabbed his sleeve and pulled him out of the chaos. He was lead to a small lounge a little ways away by non other then his supposed twin sister. "Raven whats going on?" He says confusingly scratching his head as an explosion goes off very near.
"Well the whole mansion has been compromised, there are traps left and right it seems we're on our own as well." Raven informs him dragging him behind a large pillar for cover as two Smashers came running down the hall panickly and panting really loud. Once they disappear from view a high pitch scream is heard followed by the sounds of electricity buzzing. "We need to find a place to lay low, it is crucial we don't stay out in the open as we no longer know who is friend or foe. We must remain secluded and above all vigilant now lets move!" She says afterwards cautiously going down the hall.
"What of Lucina, we can't leave her alone especially during this crisis." Robin says worriedly as they go down a large corridor.
"Not to worry, I saw her leave with Marth prior to the chaos that has ensued. So I believe she is in safe hands, now we need to think about us so focus!" She informs him as they leave the corridor upon it starting to flood shortly after. They go down a narrow hall and end up in the east wing where it apparently wasn't inhabited at the moment. "Good this is good, now we need to find a room among these many to hold out." She says while looking around the many doors and halls to choose from.
"We should head towards the back, there is a less chance others will venture that far." Robin proposed as she nods in agreement and they head all the way towards the back. "Ahh here we go I think this utility room will serve nicely, its small but spacious and secluded." He says motioning towards it but Raven just groans uneasy looking skeptically at the door.
"Erm, Robin I wouldn't go in there, seems risky and too obvious. I'm getting some bad juju coming from that door…" She responds while Robin just stares blankly at said door then back at Raven.
"I'm not getting any bad juju from this door you must be overreacting, besides whats the worst that can happen this place is too small for anything." He says with a shrug before he turns and reaches for the door handle.
"Robin will you just listen to me opening that door is a BIG mistake, we need to keep moving and you know i'm right!" She scowls at him while crossing her arms while he just scoffs.
"Oh come on now Raven you couldn't be wronger, the longer we stay out here the more prone we are to attack. And i'm going with my hunch on this one and it's telling me to go in here." He responds with a slow shake of his head and turns to knob to open the door.
"Wait Robin NO!" She exclaims while extending her arm towards him but it was to late. He opens the door and the lights flicker on only for him to come face to face with a large cannon. He instantly gets shot by a large blob of purple goo that plasters him to the wall with great force. Raven just sighs while she pinched the bridge of her nose and groaned before looking up at the splattered tactician that now looked like a mushed bug. "I'm not going to say I told you so, but I told you so" She says while placing her hands on her hips as he spat and gagged.
"Agrh! What us this ungodly substance?!" he says in between his gags as if he was ready to puke. "Good lord it's worse than whats his face cooking!" He exclaims while Raven slowly pryed him off the wall. "Now I'm going to have to do some serious laundry" He groans while trying to get as much goop off as he could.
"See there you second rate tactician, now next time we listen to my hunch!" she proclaims and walks off with her chin up while he stared blankly.
*Moments later*
*huff, *huff, *pant, *pant…
"Raven we're trapped no matter where we go something is waiting for us!" Robin exclaims all tired as he leaned against the wall trying to catch his breath.
"Oh would you stop complaining you big baby!" She groans while leaning over with her hands on her knees also trying to catch her breath as well. She then pats down her sleeve to extinguish a small flame on it. "All we can do at this point is keep moving" she sighs exasperated while they both look down another large corridor, "look we just go past his last corridor and we make it to the side door leading out of this forsaken place!" she reassures him and he lets out an exhausted breath and slowly nods.
They proceed onwards but then Robin stopped dead in his tracks as his foot pressed down on something that made his heart stop cold. He could only stare down at the round metallic object he knew all too well as a landmine. "Robin what are you doing move before something happens!" Raven exclaims but he just held up a hand motioning her to stay back.
"No if I move this darn contraption will explode, step as far back as you can I got an idea." He assures her and she cautiously starts backing up and activates another "landmine" that was the next stage of the new trap they fell in. *Whoosh…
In a moment an arrow shot out of a open room and pinned Raven to the door they just so happen to be headed to by her coat. "What in the name of?!" She exclaims as several more arrows shoot at her completely pinning her down.
"Ah I see now, so it is a trap disguised as another, brilliant strategy!" Robin states rather fascinated while Raven looked at him with a 'seriously' look. They then hear a loud crashing rattling sound and they both turn to see a large cart with an enormous log heading straight towards Raven.
"HOLY NAGA ROBIN GET ME OUT OF THIS!1!" Raven screams as he rushes over and starts frantically pulling on her arms to no avail her coat was far too tightly pinned.
"Raven you have to ditch the coat!" He tells her while he continued tugging on her sleeves.
"Are you mad?!" she replies not wanting to rid of her precious coat and looks behind him to see the cart mere feet away. "ROBIN FOR THE LOVE OF NAGA DO SOMETHING!" She screams panickly staring in horror as he frantically looks back and forth between her and the log. He did the only plausible thing that came to mind however, he grips her tightly and ripped her out of the coat. He threw both himself and her out of the way as the thing smashed the big door right off its hinges and proceeded outside where it exploded oddly. She gets up with a huff and hurriedly approached the door staring hopelessly out at the smoldering crater that was left. "What kind of barbaric, primitive, underdeveloped swine does that to a lady's coat?!" She exclaims frustratingly while she growls angrily and stomps her foot on the ground hard.
"Hey guys you should head to the auditorium, the Six have set up a safe room and told everyone to gather there." Ike casually walks by and says soaking wet with several piranhas latched on to him. Both tacticians turn to look at each other and sigh following after the mercenary.
*End Flashback*
Master Hand appears on the stage shortly afterwards and clears his throat and all current smashers turn their attention towards the hand. "Now Smashers I believe you all were told to assemble here correct well there is a very good reason behind this, Myself as well as the six are unable to locate the culprit behind these devious acts but rest assured when we find them and we will! There will be sever punishments indeed and we figured the culprit might still be lurking about, so I'm going to do a head count and anyone not present excluding the six will be a suspect. I'm sure everyone knows I gave specific instructions to assemble here and the culprit most likely ignored this, seeing as they think I will be handing out punishment they will do everything to avoid that." He finished and then teleported out of the room before anyone asked why he was wearing some ridiculous looking pants.
The unknown location...
The two figures continued clashing weapons and then they both took out some of those boxing gloves attached to a spring. They both released their projectile trying to add force to make it strike the other but in the end they both ended up getting knocked backwards. They both stood up and dashed at each other again swooshing their weapons around and the tall one managed to stab the light switch cutting the lights in the hall, the little green one managed to get him with the glove projectile this time knocking him towards the back of the hall. The little one jumped in the air bringing the beam sword down but the tall one blocked it, they continued their battle with the beam swords being the only thing illuminating the hall. Eventually the tall figure managed to push the little one into a random dark room and their clashing and swooshing continued, the battle eventually lead them towards a large balcony but that didn't seem to stop their battling. The tall one accidentally managed to loosen the supports and the balcony started to tremble afterwards groaning loudly as it gave away to the weight. Nevertheless even that didn't halt their battle that resumed even if the balcony was at an odd angle and continued weakening. They were at the very top of the mansion meaning the 7th floor so yeah it was quite a drop that didn't seem to bother them, but when the balcony finally gave out they both jumped up and managed to grab the roofs ledge. When they both got up their battle resumed on the roof with the clashing and swooshing noises now echoing around the roof.
The tall figure flanged his beam sword in a spinning motion but the little one dodged the attack and the tall one retrieved his weapon via a magnet, and the clash continued after the little one stood and dashed at his opponent once more clashing beams. He then managed to fall unto another balcony and the little one hopped down and the clash resumed that eventually led them into another hall. the tall one started to shoot electrical projectiles at the small one again that evaded the attacks. The tall figure knocked away the small green figures beam and then tried to zap him with the attacked buzzer. However the small one caught his hand in the rubber glove and they were currently trying to push the other away with the tall one cackling lke a manic.
Meanwhile down the hall with the Elite Six (minus Marth).
The group was heading down the hall after hearing a loud commotion and a window crashing. And of course Samus was in the lead eager to finally catch someone to take her anger and frustration out at last. When they turned a corner Samus instantly spotted two figures down the hall "I found the intruder!" she exclaims. Without warning or a second thought she dashed like mad down the hall before anyone could stop her and they dashed after her before she might hurt anyone innocent.
The two figures turned and looked and saw the bounty hunter in the zero suit dashing at them. But before they could do anything she tackled the tall one to the ground with a loud battle cry while all he did was watch in horror and let out a high pitch scream. She grabbed him by the collar with her hand and started to whack the figure on the head with the butt of her pistol. "Thought you can get past me huh you little shit well think again!" She proclaims while shaking him back and forth while he was in a daze. The others quickly approached and separated them with everyone trying to keep Samus at bay and Link approaching the tall figure.
When Link helped the tall figure to his feet he backed away confused and the figure just smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "Roy what the hell what are you doing here?" Link asked the red head and everyone stopped to stare at him.
"Well that my friend is a really long story" he responded sternly.
"Good this just gives me more excuses to hurt you more!" Samus said as the others were still trying to hold her back and struggling to do so.
"Well I see Samus is as charming as ever" he replied with a chuckle but backed away when Samus tried to jump at him again with everyone desperately trying to keep her in place.
"Roy are you the one who has been pulling all of this?" Peach asked him sternly in a nice calm manner.
He sighs while he lowered himself a but, "yeah but, I didn't mean for it to get so out of hand honest. in fact I was actually sneaking around to try and deactivate the pranks after I realized I may have out did myself." he said looking down on the floor and fiddling with his hands.
"Save the bullshit you just admitted everything, so why are you guys still holding me back he's responsible." Samus spoke up and started to slowly advance towards him with everyone was still trying to hold her back.
"Samus we have to take him to Master Hand if you hurt him you are most likely going to knock him into next week, then we'll get nothing out of him." Zelda spoke up standing in the way of the bounty hunter, who just crossed her arms.
"Fine but I'm keeping my eye on him" she said shooting a sharp glare at the red head. Grabbing him from the arm and shoving him forwards with her gun aimed at him to take him away.
"What are you doing here Toon?" Link spoke up spotting his younger counterpart standing behind them casually.
"I was apprehending the suspect I spotted him early in the morning, but then I got kidnapped by Crazy and lost track of him till now." The cartoon hero responded sternly with a shrug sipping on a carton of juice.
"Wait you spotted him and you didn't report to us we could have avoided this whole thing!" Samus spoke up glaring at the hero of winds who shrank and tried to hide behind Link.
"Toon I thought we spoke about this when you see something, you need to say something, preferably to an adult." Zelda said to the cartoon version of Link who just scoffed annoyingly.
"Well it's always do this and do that, you know I'm more then capable of handing problems, they didn't call me the hero of winds for sitting on my rump!" he protests with a pout and crossed his arms.
"Apparently you can't as you just proved" Link speaks up and the cartoon boy kicked him on the leg casing him to get chased down the hall. "Get back here you little shat!" He exclaims while they both frantically ran around in circles.
"Alright enough of this we need to take him to Master Hand at once!" Samus states and started to forcefully shove Roy down the hall with the others following quickly behind. Toon Link just watched the six disappear and then shrugged and walked away whistling claiming his opponents weapon, it was an older design of the beam sword yet he admired the build.
"Nice sword" he says tossing it back and forth in his hands before he proceeded to pocket the thing. "This will make a fine addition to my collection!" he states rather boldly to himself as he cackled and then coughed.
Meanwhile in the auditorium...
Lucina was still with the tacticians who were conversing among each other and she was actually lost in thought about the whole situation. Master Hand appeared shortly afterwards and cleared his throat and then informed the smashers they can go about their business. That could only mean the culprit was found and the whole charade was practically over for now, well Master Hand didn't get the day started because of all the events that occurred so today was like another free day. Or free half of day since the shenanigans this morning actually already took half the day being resolved so yeah half a day.
At Lunch time everyone was gathered in the cafeteria and another melee vet was suddenly introduced a red had named Roy, Lucina instantly recognized this figure as the one Marth always spoke of but there wasn't much of a celebration like there was with Lucas and Mewtwo. No one actually got to introduce themselves as Master Hand teleported him out shortly afterwards, the melee vets were all murmuring amongst themselves seemingly about the red head and why Master Hand has him. At dinner it was the same thing, as they all found out later on turns out he was responsible for the whole mess in the morning. So naturally Master Hand now has him cleaning the whole mansions attic as punishment and then some. That and also for the damage he did to Master Hands camp which he actually forgot about, like Link and Marth. And the worst part all of Roy's winnings will go towards paying off Master Hands ruined suit. He did make a plea bargin, stating that he was left alone unsupervised and he couldn't help it. And also when asked HOW he got in he stated that the gardens locks where never changed and his old rusty key still worked. Master Hand did kind of ease up a bit thinking it was sort of his fault when he invited the red head moments before he decided to take a trip, that and also Viridi.
It was actually kind of sad that he was already in so much deep trouble on his first day, but hey that's Roy. The Elite Six shared some details the first being a two hour lecture from the gloved being that barked in his face for the whole two hours. Some are even amazed that the poor red head could still hear. He actually managed to fix all the damage because it wasn't that bad to begin with but still he was exhausted.
Later that day he was in the living room sprouted on the couch looking like he'd been to hell and back, and the swordsman group went to meet him. Link was there with Roy offering him a water bottle that the red head started to chug without a second thought; the group entered the place casually and approached to greet themselves to Link first as the red head appeared half dead.
"Hey Link I smell chicken!" Ike said as he entered the room, and spotted a plate of chicken next to the couch on the small table.
"Hey guys have you meet Roy?" Link said gesturing towards the exhausted red head cooling himself off with a paper plate.
"Hey I'm Ike I'm going to eat your chicken" Ike spoke up and sat next to Roy on the arm rest eating the chicken that the red head was in no mood for.
"Hey I'm Shulk" the Monado wielder approached for a handshake and shook the red heads hand, "and just so you know I'm the coolest guy in this gang" he added sternly giving him an odd look.
"Greetings Roy, names Robin pleasure to make your acquaintance" the tactician introduced himself with a nod of his head.
"Hey I'm Pit" the angel said pointing at himself and the red head stared up and down at the angel that some what looked like him. He spotted the bluenette standing awkwardly behind Ike and a smile crept on his face he was probably mad because of the incident this morning. Still the red head stood up to go great the person that was like a lost brother to him, that was the first thing he planned to do but when he arrived but the place was deserted but now he finally gets to see his lost brother. He would have earlier but while he was being chewed out the bluenette was tasked to go on a rescue mission while the others looked for him…
He just stood there staring at the person in front of him 'his' hair was longer then he remembered, not only that but 'he' appeared shorter then before as well not to mention more slender. Of course he teased him back in melee but now he was never going to hear the end of this. His long lost brother couldn't appear more feminine then that and oh boy he was never going to hear the end of it. The sides of his mouth curled upwards slowly as he a short laughing snort. After a minute or so of staring in confusement Roy broke out laughing hysterically pointing at the blunette in front of him. 'Marth' however was looking around to see what the red head was laughing at and looked down at 'himself' but didn't understand what was so funny. Roy however kept on laughing hysterically and was leaning against the wall and pointing at 'Marth' while he continued hollering. 'Marth' however was starting to get flustered with the red head and crossed 'his' arms giving him a confused look. After about five minutes or so of the red head laughing his ass off and 'Marth' being confused and weirded out he stopped. Roy wiped some tears off his face and approached the bluenette who was confusingly staring at him. 'He' was actually staring to feel insecure thinking that something might be on 'his' face or in 'his' hair.
Everyone one else quickly understood what was happening however and then started making hand gestures towards the red head to stop. But he of course didn't notice or ignored them and 'Marth' was about to just about ready ask the snickering red head what was so damn funny. However before 'he' could the red head started to laugh again while everyone around them face palmed or scooted away from them, the bluenette started to get irritated now and had 'his' hands clenched tightly and giving the red head a glare.
The clueless red head however just wrapped his arm around the bluenette as he kept laughing and everyone nervously cleared their throat as obnoxiously as they could. He kept at it however leaning against the bluenette that looked like she wanted to run him through with her sword.
"Roy?" everyone heard a new voice and Marth was standing in the doorway and the red heads laugh instantly ceased turning into a squel. He was looking back and forth between the bluenettes and he backed away from the one he was near and kept staring back and forth. Marth however just sighed while running a hand down his face, he so saw this coming he was actually looking for him.
"Marth what the heck why is there two of you!?" he said surprised and the more feminine Marth finally understood what was going on and why the red head was laughing at her.
"Roy she is not another me, she is actually one of my family members" he explained to the confused red head who turned to face the female version of his best friend.
"I didn't know you had a wife let alone kids?!" Roy responded and Marth sighed again rather obnoxiously.
"I told you multiple times before that i'm married, and she's not my daughter" he states to the red head while crossing his arms.
"Think of it this way i'm like his great, great, great, great…" She starts but Marth cuts her off...
"Descendant" he finished and then Roy looked back at him with a horrified expression.
"How long was I gone!?" he responded holding the sides of his head all the while Marth face palmed at the clueless red head. He then however turns towards Lucina and cleared his throat shyly and nervously.
"Oh well my apologies about the mix up, I'm Roy nice to meet you uh…" He didn't finish as he actually never catched her name and just pointed a finger towards her awaiting a reply.
"Lucina" she said to him and he nodded and turned back towards the other bluenette awkwardly.
"So, what's new?" he asked trying to act casual after that embarrassing moment and everyone floor dropped…
Later that night way past curfew...
A lone dark figure was creeping down the halls of the mansion with a bright blue bottle in hand snickering. However just then a bright light shone on its face making it stop dead in it's tracks and then managed to see it was R.O.B shining the light. The figure managed to hit the switch before the robot got a chance to do anything and when wiped its forehead with the back of its hand. But R.O.B actually sprang back up again startling the figure and making it drop the large container it was holding. It ran down the hall full speeds with R.O.B chasing after it and zapping its rear end. The substance of the bottle however turned into some sort of mist that made its way into the vents…
The next morning...
Lucina yawned as she started to slowly wake from her slumber but when she opened her eyes she was meet with a startling discovery. She was no longer in her bed not only that but she was also in a completely different room from hers and Dark Pits. She looked around and spotted another figure in the room she couldn't exactly tell who it was in the somewhat dark room, but then she spotted the orange battle armor next to the bed and realized it was Samus that was in the room. She stood up and headed towards the restroom also noticing she was wearing a dress clearly not of her belonging. She turned on the light and looked in the mirror to see Zelda staring back at her, so naturally of course she flipped out and tumbled out of the bathroom. This had also managed to wake up Samus as she was now standing in front of her rubbing the sleep of her eyes. "Dude… do you know what time it is?!" she said obviously not sounding at all like herself and Lucina was starting to panic. "Samus?" she said in a shaky voice as she slowly stood back up and the bounty hunter gave her a confused and shock look. "Zelda what the hell are you doing here!?" the person spoke up giving her a weird look and then looking around. "Wait a minute what am I doing in here?!" she said and started looking around in panic confused and shocked.
"Who are you?" Lucina decided to ask the person who was flipping out on her.
"Zelda it's me, Shulk, I-I'm sorry I think I made a mix up and came into the wrong room I'm so sorry but I was really tired yesterday." He said and then turned to leave but Lucina approached the confused person and stopped them.
"Wait I need to show you something first" she told him but before he could say anything she held up a mirror for him to see.
"What the hell!?" he responded and tumbled backwards and landing on his rear end just staring with wide eyes. He stands back up after a moment and rushed into the bathroom were he proceeded to panic and started hyperventilating.
Lucina walked after him shortly afterwards to see he was still freaking out in there rubbing his eyes as hard as he could and smacking his head to check if he was hallucinating. "Zelda what's going on how did this happen, were is my body, what is this, am I dreaming?!" he said in a panicked voice.
"Uh, actually Shulk I'm Lucina..." She replied bluntly as he goes back to hyperventilating immediately after she tells him that.
"I got to go find myself!" he exclaims and made a dash for the door and she followed.
"Wait I want to go too and figure out what happened" she said rushing after the panicked use to be swordsman.
"Good idea we need to find the real Zelda she knows this types of things," he said as they stopped at his door he entered his pin and peeked inside.
"Wait what are you doing we need to find Zelda" Lucina told the former swordsman.
"Well if we are going to change back I need my body to be there right" he responded and entered the room approaching his still sleeping former body. He was actually starting to tremble a bit and then he grabbed a nearby broom and poked the person gently. Nothing happened however so he tried again but the person just sifted around in bed mumbling something to itself. After a while of this Shulk smacked the person on the bed with the broom and then hid behind Lucina. The person jolted upwards and started looking around and then spotted 'Zelda' with 'Samus' hiding behind her strangely enough. "Zelly if you need me that bad you could of just said so no need to get irritated!" The person complained while sitting up and yawning. Lucina also noticed that Raven wasn't in the room either if she was still herself that is who knows who she could be now. Well that was enough to get Shulk going again because he started to hyperventilate and pace around the room all panicked; 'Shulk' had stood up and was giving him a weird look then looked back at "Zelda' motioning towards the former Bounty Hunter. Lucina just sighed and held up a mirror for Peach to see and then they both started to panic.
"Zelly what the hell is going on is this a little joke you decided to play on me with an enchanted mirror please say it is?!" She said all super fast and panicked looking back and forth between the other two.
"I'm Lucina" she replied shortly afterwards and then Peach sat on the bed rocking back and forth.
"What do we do now!?" Shulk came up to Lucina and started to shake her back and forth.
"Lets go to my room if I'm in Zelda's body then she is most likely in mine" Lucina told the other two who briefly looked at each other and then nodded. Before they left however Shulk put on his normal attire over the zero suit and strapped the Monado on his back, what's funny is that now he actually looked like a female Shulk well not entirely but still close enough anyways. Peach stopped by her room and placed her famed crown on her head after taking it from whoever was in her body still asleep. As much as Lucina wanted to change as well she know there was no time she had to hurry before more people awake and then it would be chaos. When they reached their destination Lucina entered her pin and the door unlocked and she peeked inside Dark Pit as well as herself were still asleep. She approached the sleeping figure and started to shake then lightly and they slowly opened their eyes.
"Zelda what is it now" the person replied sternly and then sat up on the bed, then looked at Shulk and for some reason appeared to have gotten mad…
Several shrieks and screams later came from many different parts, it was too late the other where beginning to stir. Now it would be impossible to track anyone as the whole mansion would be in a panic.
*Later*
Alright so as you all can imagine the rest of the mansion woke up and of course everything went to hell, and was turned upside down, Master Hand of course took charge as always and assembled everyone in the auditorium again as apparently he has a lead. He stated that R.O.B catched a figure way past curfew sneaking around the place so now all they need to do is a facial scan, although in the footage Master Hand showed it was a silhouette he said R.O.B will still be able to identify them. Lucina now in Zelda's body and also was in her usual attire she was too uncomfortable in a dress. Went to the swordsman group as usual or what used to be the swordsman, we now have a somewhat female variation of Shulk, 'Meta-Knight' looking as usual except the tiara on his head. 'Lucas' with a bandana around his head and a small blue cape most likely made from a curtain but for obvious reasons no sword. Next we have 'Little Mac' wearing Pits toga but once again no weapon, 'Link' was there except he was wearing Robin's attire, and lastly we have 'Palutena' wearing Link's attire and that concludes the lovable bundle of swordsman. Hm what's that where's Roy you say? Well of course he's there but oddly enough Roy was just Roy, and of course this made people get suspicious of him.
So after R.O.B scanned everyone and there were some people who were nervous because they also were sneaking around at night. However when R.O.B scanned the nervous wrecks his scans came up negative much to their relief of course. And what had everyone scratching their heads was when Roy was scanned it came up negative. Story is after that tiring day, well he passed out on his balcony saving him from the fate of everyone else for obvious reasons that everyone will come to learn. But the strangest thing happened when Toon was scanned and the scans come up as an almost identical match, but not one hundred percent, but then everyone realized who the likely suspect or in this case suspects were. Everyone gathered all the Links for a scan Link and Dark Link came up thirty percent identical well Dark Link came at 50, but wait aren't they switched around? Why yes how very observant of you but the deed happened before the switching remember. But that's when it hit everyone the culprit was none other then the infamous dark cartoon Hylian who was currently not present. And as you can imagine an angry mob formed hunting for the little Hylian who was confirmed to not be in any ones body.
Of course the angry mob was left unsatisfied because the Elite Six had already apprehended him or the Switched Six now if you will. Like Mario was now Ness wearing his famous cap and overalls, Peach of course was Shulk with her crown but no dress, instead she turned Shulk's attire pink. Next we have 'Raven' in Zelda's attire looking like her black costume, and of course there's 'Palutena' with a green tunic and hat. And lastly we have 'Lucina' in Samus's orange armor but without the helmet, and Meta-Knight who looked like himself except of course he now had a tiara on his head. And that concludes what happened to the once proud and resilient Elite Six. And once they got DTL to give up the info courtesy of Samus of course, Zelda got working on the antidote until then they had to wait like a hour or so much to most peoples unpleasantness. Mostly the villains that is of course for Ganondorf who was now everyone's favorite lovable pink marshmallow (who copied himself to at least keep his look well somewhat.)
Lucina and the swordsman were hanging out in the living room later that morning of course playing video games to pass the time. Well minus Lucina because she had no clue how these 'Contraptions' as Marth puts it work so she was just watching from the sidelines. Link and Pit were of course battling each other in a firt person shooter as everyone watched the two running around the battlefield collecting items while also shooting the occasional enemy. Link got a homing missile and used it on Pit finding him immediately and turning him into a splatter on the snow. Of course everyone was shouting "OOOHH" at the moment and laughing at Pits demise but Lucina cringed at the carnage. She's been in many battles and seen a lot of stuff but this was just brutal, blood and guts flying in every direction in a hot second, and all that's left is a red steaming pile of goop that was once Pit's player. It was fake granted though it was still a brutal sight to behold. Yes she has seen her fair share of gore but someone just strait up combusting in such a gruesome manner is not something you she would see everyday.
"Yeeeeah suck it Pit" Link said raising his hands in the air and everyone else giving the… huh, well, use to be goddess a high five.
"I'd never thought I'd see the day were Lady Palutena faced me in a game and won." Pit said as he sat on the couch and passed the controller to the next player.
"Well it's not really her" Ike stated grabbing his controller and sitting on a stool, Shulk grabbed the other but stood up since he was not short.
"Still though" Pit said sternly while shrugging as Shulk and Ike customized their characters to their preferences and also chose their preferred weapons. Once they finished the chose the same stage as before mostly because it was a largest and most fun to play. Upon starting they both took off into the snowy field scavenging supplies and killing the occasional NPC. Ike went with an automatic Shotgun as primary and an Uzi as his secondary weapon and flash grenades. Shulk however went with a Sniper rifle with an infrared scope for primary and a crossbow as a secondary weapon with normal grenades. They ran into each other shortly after and Ike started to unload his Uzi on Shulk who sneaked behind him and stuck an arrow on his rear end, it started beeping rapidly and soon it also exploding not as bad as before but Ike was now a destroyed burnt corpse. Once again everyone was doing their "OOOOHS" and giving Shulk a high five who was running around the living room with his hands raised in the air, Ike just sat pouting on his stool and passed the remote but then they heard a new voice "I'll play winners." They turned around and saw Samus standing at the entrance with her arms crossed and Shulk shrank a little, she of course was now in her Zero Suit but being someone else it looked weird on her like you would imagine. Everyone pointed towards the Monado wielder and Samus took the controller from Ike and they got started, Shulk of course kept all his customizations he had made previously but Samus started to customize her character.
She chose the Project 90 as her primary weapon and a grenade launcher as her secondary with flash grenades, they started the battle shortly after and Samus instantly went on the hunt for the former Monado wielder shooting down anyone in her path. Shulk however was camping at a water tower near by sniping away at the NPCs that just so happen to wonder by, until he noticed a grenade coming at him and he jumped off the water tower as it erupted in flames and spotted the assailant, she was in a window of a nearby abandoned lab looking place of sorts she put away the launcher and took out the project 90. Shulk was then showered with bullets from above he was running around trying to look for a hiding spot, he hid behind a nearby truck that gave him cover from the bullets when they stopped however he saw it as his chance to counterstrike. When he peeked from behind however he saw a grenade strike the vehicle and it exploded upon impact sending Shulk backwards, his character rose to his feet and took out his crossbow since getting a hit with a sniper was a no go. Samus killed her twentieth NPC while going after the use to be Swordsman who entered a abandon office building, Samus got to call in a helicopter and of course she did a latter come down and she climbed aboard and took the controls. She started unloading on the building with the two mini-guns at the side and then proceeded to launch missiles, Shulk appeared on the roof and shot his arrow that went through the glass and pierced Samus on the shoulder beeping rapidly. Shulk however was no so lucky himself as two missiles had struck him exploding him on contact, the arrow blew up at the exact same time turning the helicopter into a giant ball of fire that hit the floor. Of course everyone lost it at that point "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!?" everyone in the room shouted, the match appeared to have ended in a tie and Samus had to admit Shulk had guts for going after her like that especially when she was in a lethal machine. Everyone else continued shouting and jumping around the room in shock.
"Good game Shulk that took guts" she told him and gave him a handshake and then left the room. All the others gathered around Shulk and hoisted him up it wasn't everyday when someone was able to kill Samus Aran, granted it was a tie but it was the closest anyone has come thus far, (well secretly Snake got her but she blackmailed him so that never counted). This had actually been the closest that anyone else come to see the fall of the unbeatable Samus. They all took off with Shulk mounted on their shoulders and of course chanting his name in praise and it was just Lucina and Marth left. They got up and headed out soon afterwards following after the crazed former swordsmen shouting down the hall. The intercom came on shortly after wards and Master Hands booming voice came through, "Attention all smashers report to the auditorium repeat all smashers to the auditorium."
So of course everyone came flocking into the auditorium eager to see what the hand had to say especially if he found a way to reverse the effect. Well of course he started by saying the culprit has been severely punished well DTL had to clean and arrange the attic. Well sounds easy enough right? Well if you are in a normal house then yes it shouldn't be too hard right, but if you are in a mansion several meters wide well that attic is HUGE and full of Soooooo much junk well you get the picture. Currently the dark cartoon Hylian was pacing around up there kicking boxes around and muttering curses. Master hand however announced that Zelda had completed the antidote and they spread it around the place, however when everyone was back to their proper bodies of course everyone soon felt awkward being dressed in others clothes. So naturally all the smashers left in flocks to go back to looking like their proper selves except those who are usually clotheless, like random Yoshi with a striped shirt who simply took it off and tossed it aside and went about his business. Of course Lucina was in a spot of trouble she had no clue how the hell the Zero Suit was put on let alone comes off.
As awkward as it was she went towards Samus room to ask for help the bounty hunter complied and agreed to help her. So they were in the room that belonged to the three female members of the Elite Six, this room was also bigger then the others. Not only that but it looked really elegant she thought it was because of the two princess's who resided in the room, but Samus's bed in the far side along with all her stuff stuck out like a sore thumb the corner looked more like a workshop. Palutena walked in as well delivering Links tunic to Zelda since she was unable to locate said swordsman so she went there instead. Zelda handed Lucina her attire so she could change into it as Samus showed her how to take off the zero suit. So she was told she could change in the restroom while the other woman talked well excluding Samus who was working on her suit, she came out of the restroom later and handed Samus the spare Zero Suit who put it away in one of her metal drawers. Lucina seemed to be relaxed after she managed to change back into her proper attire and then Palutena turned to face her.
"You know for a princess you do seem to have a lack of dresses and don't seem to be fond of them either?" Palutena stated rather confused and immediately everything went quiet and all eye where on her.
Lucina turned to face the goddess with a look of horror on her face wondering how she could have figured it out only Robin should know and of course Raven. Zelda who was drinking tea at the time started choking on it and Peach instantly rose to her feet in a split second.
"YOU'RE A PRINCESS!?" they both exclaim in unison well Peach being more excited then shocked as her eyes sparked with stars. Lucina just back away slowly shaking her head nervously at the princess who placed her hands on her hips not taking no for an answer.
"There is no proof of that" Zelda said sternly though coming to the Ylissen Princess's aid whose secret was most likely out.
"Then why would Palutena say it?!" Peach proclaims while turning to glare at the other princess.
"Yes Palutena care to explain how you came to such a conclusion" Zelda piped up while Peach was holding her hands to her chest and squealing a little.
"Well I'm a goddess I know all" she answers sternly but then started giggling when everyone gave her a 'seriously' look knowing full well the crazed mushroom monarch behind them. "Alright that's a load of crap but put the facts together and you get the truth, for starters look at the fact at who her ancestor happens to be. A man that was dubbed in her world 'The Hero-king' so then it is obvious that our swordswoman over there comes from a royal family and don't get me started on the tiara. Not enough for you, well she said she's from Ylisse correct well upon further research one would find that her father is Chrom the King of Ylisse. And ultimately that my friend qualifies our little Lucina over there as you guessed it and now know it an actual Ylissen princess." Palutena finished with a satisfied smirk and in reality Zelda had no more to say in the bluenettes defense.
Peach completely lost it at that point squealing in excitement over yet another princess that happens to be in the mansion. She was talking about so much stuff they could do together and one word made Lucina turn pale "dresses..." well of course Palutena was in on it as they discussed about how adorable Lucina would look in a dress. And somehow in some way Zelda got roped into it after Palutena suggested that Hylian dresses where actually something that was remarkable. This of course had the Hylian herself curious now as well as to how the bluenette swordswoman looked in a dress. Lucina just stood awkwardly in the corner as the two princesses and goddess chatered away excitedly.
"Well, I think I o-over stayed my w-welcome" Lucina blurted out nervously and started to head towards the door, when she placed her hand on the knob however she heard peach's voice that made her stop cold.
"Hey wait a minute you haven't tried anything on yet you can't leave!" Peach demanded and Lucina felt the cold stare of the three staring at her back. Samus then 'accidentally' dropped something from her workshop that created a large flash blinding the other three. "Woops" she said sternly and taking it as her cue to leave Lucina bolted out the door running for her life well that's what it looked like. The three gave Samus a disappointed look and she just shrugged casually going back to her work, the three however left the room after the now exposed princess.
"Aw we're never going to be able to find her now!" Palutena groaned.
"Oh don't worry I'm calling a little backup," Peach said with a large grin and started dialing on her communication device…
Lucina decided instead of taking the elevator was running and jumping down the stairs. She takes a moment to catch her breathe before venturing onwards, she had no clue where she was going to go until she though she'd hide outside the mansion. Her best place the pond in the forest very few know of that location but down the hall she managed to actually bump into Raven. "Oh dear Naga you have to help me please hide me!" She exclaims in a quick and panicked voice shaking the tactician back and forth.
"Whoa clam down, what's going on?!" Raven ask the panicking swordswoman placing her hands on her shoulders to calm her down. Lucina however cringed when she heard Peach's voice nearing.
"Oh Lucy come out come out wherever you are!" Peach called out and Lucina tried to push past Raven who stopped her and held her in place.
"Oh come on Lucy you won't look that bad in a dress" the tactician said with a mischievous smile on her face making Lucina's jaw dropped shocked.
"You're in on it, you can't be, you can't be?!" Lucina said in panic but the tactician just shrugged still preventing her from leaving and blocking her only escape.
"I Found you!" the voice echoed down the hall followed by giggles and of course Lucina freaked at that point she should have saw this coming eventually…

Alrighty then that's all ladies and jets that concludes this chapter I hope I actually made up for my short absence, so a scrapped idea of mine was the body swapping sorry if it was so short but I had very little to run on that being the reason why it was scrapped.
