Chapter 27

Another two days had passed since the latest Great Ape incident.

Trunks and Marron were now getting ready to leave.

They were in the garden of the Capsule Corp building and were waiting for Goku and Goten to arrive.

They were all wearing casual clothes. That meant in Trunks case a white shirt with a blue Capsule Corp Jacket above it and grey trousers.

And in Marron´s a jeans outfit that made her look quite similar to her mother.

As it turned out however, two more members had decided to join their team. And while one of them could have been expected if you thought about it, the other was quite surprising.

The first one was Trunks girlfriend Mai. She was standing beside the other two members of the now (once again) grown up Pilaf Gang and like the others waiting for their departure.

Just like Goten, Trunks and Marron had, she had by now grown to look nearly like her future-counterpart. (Or also like her old self the Dragon Balls had turned her young.)

The other new member of their little group who had asked to accompany them was nobody else than the good part of Android 21, who was still alive and currently living within Capsule Corp.

Similar to the Pilaf Gang.

"And you are sure about this?" Bulma had asked Twenty One.

The Bio-Android had been working as her assistant for the last few years. Despite being quite eccentric, Bulma freely admitted Twenty One was a genius, only rivalled by herself, her father Doctor Briefs and Doctor Gero.

"Yes - I am. I am sorry Bulma, but I just need to do something else for a time," Twenty One said. "Besides - we all should try to become stronger, right? When this Demigra person will reappear."

"Right," Bulma answered.

Bulma, Vegeta, Krillin, Eighteen and the other two members of the Pilaf Gang were standing together to see them off.

"Good luck then," Eighteen said, "to all of you." She looked from Marron and Twenty One to the others.

In this moment Goku and Goten appeared right before them through Instant Transmission.

Goku would transport them all to Dende´s Palace, where they would meet with Beerus, Whiz and the Kaioshin, who would then transport them to Universe 6.

"Hey," Goku greeted them. "We are here. Are you all ready?" he asked them.

"Yes," Trunks answered. "We are."

"Good," Goku replied. "Then let us go."

They teleported away.

They however didn´t move to the Palace directly. Before that they made a small departure.

They were standing on the beach of Seventeen´s Island. Who then appeared one second later, having sensed their arrival.

"Uncle Seventeen," Marron greeted him.

"You are leaving now," 17 stated.

"Yes. I just wanted to say goodbye to you first," she said.

"We will probably be gone for several weeks, a few months maybe," Trunks stated.

"Don´t worry," Goten commented. "We will look out for Marron."

Seventeen looked at him blankly.

"By what I heard about your track-record of recklessness, she should probably better look out for you," he retorted.

Marron and Mai smiled at that statement.

Twenty One was just following the exchange curiously.

"Well - that was a long time ago. We are better now," Trunks defended them both.

"Yes - you did," Mai commented smiling. "Not that I am one to talk. I used to fight Goku in a robot-suit."

"Good luck to you. And be careful, it is after all a different universe," Seventeen said towards Marron.

"Don´t worry," she replied. "We will. That means all of us," she said with a side-glance to the others.

"I guess we can go now," Goten said to his father, who nodded.

They all laid their hands on Goku´s shoulders and he used Instant Transmission again.

One second later they reappeared at Dende´s Palace.

Like agreed, not only the young God of Earth and Mister Popo, but also Beerus, Whis and the Kaioshin and Kibito were waiting for them.

"Goku," Dende called out.

"There you are," Beerus commented as he saw them. "I hope we can bring this behind us quickly, I still have other things to do."

"Well - technically you don´t even really need to be here, right Lord Beerus?" Goku pointed out. "It is just Whis who is needed to bring the others to Universe 6."

"Actually Goku - there is something we want to discuss with you," the Kaioshin stated.

"Yes," Beerus added.

"We have noticed a few unusual things going on in the other universes. And we have the suspicion that it could be connected to Demigra," the Kaioshin said.

"And with suspicion you mean a wild guess," Beerus stated sardonically.

"Okay - yes, but if there is even the possibility that it is him, we should do something, right?" Kaioshin replied.

"With `other universes´ - you don´t mean Universe 6, where we are just heading too, right?" Goten asked.

"What? No. The Universes we are talking about are Universe 4 and 12. In Universe Four Lord Quintella had been acting a bit strange lately."

"Even more strange than usual you mean," Beerus interrupted.

"Very true," Whis agreed chuckling.

"And in Twelve there had been mysterious sightings of unknown powerful beings, who just appear and then disappear," the Kaioshin continued. "That was at least what we heard. It could be followers of Demigra. Maybe."

"Or it could be anyone else," Beerus said.

"But even then, whoever these beings are, they could be dangerous anyway," Dende pointed out. "It can not harm to investigate a bit and try to find out more."

"I see," Goku said. "And you want me and the others to help?"

"We can propably deal with deal with that matter by ourselves," the Kaioshin replied. "What we want is that you and the others stay ready in case we need you."

"Okay. But that should have nothing to do with their trip to Universe 6, right?" Goku pointed to Goten, Trunks and the others.

"Well - it should not," the Kaioshin replied.

"Okay - then I will bring them there now. In the meantime you all can talk about the rest," Whis stated.

Somewhere else

"As I promised you, as soon as I am the new ruler of the Multiverse, you will have absolute control over your own Universe and have to answer to nobody."

"Yes - yes of course Lord Demigra," the rat-like being answered. "I am looking out to it. I just wanted to..."

"You don´t need to doubt me," the apparation of Demigra said in a soft tone,

"and you should not." It suddenly became much more threatening. "or do you take me for someone who will betray his allies?"

"No - I am sorry my Lord," Quintella replied now visibly intimidated.

"Something like at the Tournament of Power will not happen again, you have my guaranty for it. Unless of course your Universe gets involved with the matters of the other ones in the first place. Or becomes a threat, you will be completely independant," Demigra said.

"But first - I have one special task for you. But first - tell me, what do you know about the history of Universe Two?"

Towa, who was standing right next to Quintella while he and Lord Demigra were discussing a few matters of their secret alliance, still had a hard time believing that this guy was truly a God of Destruction.

Many of the others were already strange. But this guy was literally just a large rat.

Well - at least he was a useful rat, she thought.

Universe 6

At the same time the group of Trunks, Goten, Marron, Twenty One and Mai, along with Whis, was just arriving on Planet of the God of Destruction of Universe Six.

Here they were greeted by a group consisting of Champa and Vados and their friends the Saiyan trio of Kabba, Caulifla and Kale like expected... but also the assassin Hit and a being who looked nearly exactly like Freeza.

Frost, they remembered him.

But why was he here? Or even Hit? It was not as if they knew each other, like the three Universe 6 Saiyans and had reason to greet them.

"I see you have arrived," Vados greeted them. "I am sorry, but it seems you come at a bad time."

"You have agreed to our visit," Whis reminded her.

"Yes - but something unexpected has happened. We were just waiting for you to arrive before we will depart ourselves," she replied.

"What - you are leaving?" Trunks said.

"Where?" Marron asked.

"Lady Heles from Universe 2 has suddenly asked for help," Champa said impatiently.

"Heles?" Trunks said surprised.

"Universe Two?" Goten repeated.

"We have wasted enough time," Champa declared. "You five can either come with us or wait here till we return."

The five Universe 7 visitors looked at each other unsure.

"Universe Two?" Marron questioned.

"It is not Universe Four or Twelve," Goten said. "So it should be okay, right?"

"It is still a completely different universe," Mai pointed out. "And we know nothing about why this Heles even asked for help."

"Hello," Cabba approached them. "It is good to see you again."

"To answer your question," Vados said, "we don´t know either why she had called for help. She didn´t say anything specific. Just that it is important."

"Yes," Champa agreed, "that bitch truly has nerve to come to us with something like this so suddenly."

"As Lord Champa say, we had no time to inform you before you arrived," Vados told them. "So you can either stay here or accompany us to Universe Two."

"Yes - you can come with us," Caulifla told them grinning. "It will be fun for sure."

"Whatever," Whiz said. "I have just come to bring you. I will return to Universe Seven now. You can decide what to do on your own."

With that he disappeared.

"If they are going, does that mean I can stay here?" Frost asked Vados and Champa.

"This here is still part of your prohibition," Vados stated.

"That was all years ago," he replied.

"Yes - and your prohibition for it is still running for another five months," she reminded him.

"Well - we are just in it because it sounded interesting, right Kale?" Caulifla stated.

"Yes Sis," Kale confirmed.

They finally made their decision - not at least because of Goten and Trunks agreeing that going along to this mission might be interesting.

Some time later they arrived in Universe 2.

The first thing they all noticed was the large glittering town around them. It was looking quite different than West City or any other towns they knew from Universe 7´s Earth.

There seemed to be at least twice as many light-sources as necessary and decorations and advertisements seemed to be everywhere. The entire city seemed to be glowing.

This was actually no great surprise, given how much this entire world was focussed on looks and beauty.

They saw Heles, the Kaioshin Pell and the Angel Sour and some of their Warriors not far away from them. Standing next to them were the three `Maidens´ - Brianne, Sanka and Su and also the `Knights´ Jimize, Zarbuto, Rabanra and Zirloin and the winged girl Vikal.

But they were not the only ones.

In a close distance to them was a group of people dressed in red and black outfits.

"Pride Troopers," Cabba said, recognizing them.

"You mean the guys from Universe Eleven?" Goten asked.

"Yes. It seems we are not the only ones Lady Heles had asked for help."

Universe 11 - the final opponents from the Tournament of Power. They saw two under them who, going by the sheer power they radiated, just had to be Jiren and Toppo.

"I thank you all for coming," Heles greeted them. "As you were told, Universe Two is currently in a serious situation and..."

"Yes Yes," Champa interrupted her, "maybe you should finally tell us what is going on."

"I was just about to," she said irritated. "Say Champa - who are the new members in your team?"

"This are guests from Universe Seven," Vados explained. "They have decided to accompany us."

"Universe Seven?" Brianne asked.

"Do you know Seventeen, Eighteen, Goku and the others?" Su asked.

"Goten is Goku´s son and Marron is Eighteen´s daughter," Trunks replied. "I am Vegeta´s son. Mai here is my girlfriend and this is Android Twenty One."

"That´s great," Sanka said.

"We are also glad to meet you," Toppo greeted them as well.

Jiren simply gave them a nod as greeting.

"Ahm - yes it is beautiful that you are here," Heles declared, "but we should now return to the topic why I have called for you."

That caused everyone to become quiet and turn their eyes to her.

"A serious matter had risen up," she continued. "Towa had been seen in Universe 2."

And this caused everyone to freeze.

"A-As in Demigra´s follower Towa?" Champa said shocked.

"Yes."

"So much to, it will not be dangerous," Marron stated angrily, looking at Goten and Trunks.

Mai looked at the others terrified. In opposite to them, she was in the end just a normal human.

Even Twenty One looked deeply unsettled.

"Maybe we should go back," she suggested.

"It comes even worse," Heles continued. "The sector of space she had been seen is close to the Planet of Doom."

"And this means what exactly?" Jiren asked now matter of factly.

"There is a great source of Evil and Danger somewhere at the outer edges of our lovely Universe Two," Kaioshin Pell explained in a grim and dark tone. "Located inside the Fortress of Doom, on the Continent of Doom, on the Planet of Doom."

"Seriously?" Trunks, Goten and Caulifla asked nearly at the same time.

"You in Universe 2 are not so great with names, right?" Champa commented sarcastically.

"Don´t blame me and Pell," Heles replied. "It were the Mortals who came up with this names."

"Our ancestors just wanted to really point out that it is a really bad place," Sanka said.

Here is the new chapter and the beginning of the next Arc.

For it is for now, instead of Goku and the others, the group of Trunks, Goten, Marron, Twenty One and Mai in the spot-light.

Beside that, a few of the other Universes are also making a return.
