Chapter 30
Universe 2
They were all starring at the monster the Wizard Hoy had just formed with the help of Towa and Saek.
This was just what Heles had feared – only that it came worse than even she could think of.
Everywhere around the fight had started.

Jiren and the Universe 2 Angel Sour were now fighting the Fallen Angels Towa and Saek…
"You are just as powerful as they say - Mortal," Towa said, while she and Jiren were exchanging strikes.
"Why don´t you join us?"
"I don´t join people like you," Jiren replied.
"Too bad," Towa stated. "Then you will have to die."

"Angels are not meant to interfere in the matters of Mortal," Sour– who was facing Saek – mentioned.
"But luckily you are not a Mortal. So this is another case," he said to the Fallen Angel.

Hit, Cocotte and Twenty One and most of the Universe 2 Warriors – including the Kaioshin Pell – tried dealing with the newly created Monster itself.
It was clear that none of them had a chance against the creature by themselves.
Twenty One had transformed into her pink Buu like `true´ form as the fight had started.
The Creature send out a blast of pure energy that hit her and completely disintigrated her entire lower body.
"Lady Twenty One," a couple of the Universe 2 fighters called out.
But one moment later she simply regenerated. Her missing body parts just reformed themselves.
"It is okay. I am alright," she said.
Hit was trying to use his powers to freeze the creature in time. Similar like he had tried it with a still suppressed Jiren during the Tournament.
Sadly it was with similar success.
He barely managed to slow the movements of the monster down. Just like Jiren had been, it was just too powerful.
At the same time Cocotte formed a cocotte-zone around the Beast, in hope to restrain it somewhat. But it was just shattered under the incredible power of the Beast in just a single moment.
Twenty One made a desperate attempt to use Buu´s magic against the creature. But it had no effect at all.
Then suddenly the large tail of the creature leashed out at them.
Hit and Twenty One barely avoided it´s sharp end by jumping away.
A second strike nearly caught Rohzie and Jimeze, but he touched her by the shoulder and teleported them both away.
All of the fighters now got into greater distance to the monster. They best techniques and attacks had just failed after all.
Hit, Cocotte, Twenty One and Pell were now simply firing dozens of ki blasts at the creature, accompanied by several heart formed attacks from Ribrianne and Rohzie.
But like it´s predecessor Hildegarn, it just dematerialized itself and the attacks passed through it harmlessly.
Then it stroke back, by shouting blasts out of his eyes at it´s opponents.

Trunks and Goten were now standing face to face with the traitorous God of Destruction Quitella.
"Now – do you two not want to fight?" Quitella asked them mockingly.
Both half-saiyans gritted their teeth.
They knew they had no chance at all.
If they could merge into Gotenks – well, they would still be outmatched, but it would not longer be quite as bad.
They might have a chance to last at least for a few minutes.
But what chance was there that Quitella would just stand by and let them try to fuse?
They were relieved as Cabba in Super Saiyan Blue form moved next to them to help.
Neither Trunks or Goten had reached Super Saiyan Blue themselves yet.
But they knew they were not far away.
They had learned to use God Ki. All what was left was to succesfully combine it with their Super Saiyan forms.
But it could hardly hurt to try, right?
Even three Super Saiyan Blue could most likely not beat the traitorous God of Destruction. But at least they could hold out till the others were able to help them.

Caulifla and Kale were fighting against Towa´s servant Mira.
"Finally a good opponent," Caulifla – in her Super Saiyan Blue form - exclaimed.
She and Kale were engaging him from two sides.
"Really?" Mira responded. "Maybe you will regret thinking that."
He raised both his hands in different directions and fired two blasts at both of them at the same time.
While Kale just side-stepped the attack, Caulifla blocked it with her hands and then redirected it up into the air.
The two attacks hit the wall. But since these walls were augmented by the power of a God of Destruction, they just burst apart on it.
Yes – this was finally a good fight, Caulifla thought. All the other opponents that she, Kale and Caba had faced since their time-travel adventure in Universe 7 had been far too weak for them.

Only the Universe 4 Fighters were still standing back, not quite sure what to do.
Their God of Destruction had just switched sides and betrayed the other gods.
What should they do now? Which side should they take?
None of them truly wanted to follow Quitella into this madness.
But if they turned against him and he got away, he might come back and kill them.
On the other side if they sided with him, they might be killed by Heles and the other fighters.
What to do?

And there was Frost - who was trying to stay in a save distance.
He charged up energy in his palm - slowly. Then he fired a Death Beam in the direction of the Creature.
However not too acurate.
As expected he missed and hit the wall behind the monster instead. The Creature did not even react to the ineffective attack and paid no attention to him.
Just like Frost had expected.
Why would he draw unnecessary attention to himself? He did not even want to be here in the first place after all, Frost thought.

Marron had meanwhile managed to give the senzu-beans to Heles and Toppo.
Both were already standing up again.
Still, the situation was not exactly looking good.
Well -she just had to follow the others to a place called the Planet of Doom, Marron thought sardonically to herself.
"Damn it," Heles cursed once again as she had stood up.
This was the second time in just a few minutes, quite unlike her. But it was not a usual day after all.
And it was certainly not her day.
"Quitella – that wretched traitor," she said. "I should have never trusted someone who is this ugly."
"Ahm Lady Heles – I don´t want to interrupt you, but don´t you think we should deal with this quickly?" Toppo said.
He pointed to the place where the others were fighting.
"Yes," Heles hissed. "Quitella," she shouted. "You wretched traitor. I will get you for this."
Then her eyes fell on Frost.
"And you," she said to him. "You better start to fight seriously. Or I will have to have a talk with Champa about you."
The Freeza double gritted his teeth.
"Yes Lady Heles," he said unhappy.
He truly had no intention to die here after all – not by the enemy´s hands and not by Heles own.

At the same time the clash between Towa and Jiren and between Sour and Saek had intensified.
All four of them now did not longer hold back their power.
Under this however the barriers that Heles had errected eons ago around this place finally broke.
Not only that. They ceiling was torn apart and the floors oft he castle above them blown away.
The entire upper half of the castle exploded.

Outside
Still inside the ship, Mai, Vikal and Tupper had noticed that something serious must be going on. Even if the inside of the Fortress had been completely conceiled from the outside world.
Mainly because the planet was shaking below the ship.
Until now…
They felt the incredible tremor as the conceilment broke and with it the entire top oft he Fortress exploded.
"What in the world?" Mai shouted.
"They must have found this Towa," Tupper stated.
"It looks like it," Mai replied.
"But something else must have happened," Vikal said. "This can not just be Towa. Do you sense this energies?"
They did. In fact they nearly felt their blood turning cold like ice at these powers. They were both, dark and sinister and unbelievable powerful.
"So she must have help," Mai responded. "Damn – I hope Trunks and the others are okay."
Sometimes in moments like this she truly wished she possessed powers like them.
She saw that the others - Vikal, Tupper and Zarbuto – were looking similar worried.
They all seemed like they wanted to go inside to help. But was there even something they could do?

Back in the Fortress
Hoy had been watching the events from the background. From behind a barrier that Saek had formed before him earlier.
He admitted he had his doubts that it was truly possible to create a being stronger than Hildegarn.
But he was not being disappointed. He sensed the energy of the creature and it was overwhelming – nearly unbelievable.
For a moment he had feared that his new `partners´ would just get rid of him after he had done his part in making the Creature.
But he was confident that they could still need him to stay in control of the Beast. (And maybe to eventually made even more creatures for their coming war, as their leader Demigra had suggested.)

Trunks, Goten and Cabba attacked Quitella from three sides at the same time.
While Trunks fired a Final Flash at him from the right and Goten a Kamehameha from the left, Cabba aimed another blast right from the front.
But Quitella just lifted his hands and stopped Goten´s and Trunks attacks with two blasts on his own and then caught Cabba´s blast with one hand, smirking.
Then he suddenly moved – it was to them as if he just vanished – and reappeared right in front of Cabba… and punched him in the face.
Cabba hit the floor hard. But he had enough presence of mind to unleash another blast from a short distance right into his opponent´s face.
But the God of Destruction did not even flinch as it his him frontally from less than a meter´s distance.
"You guys are amusing," Quitella said with a similar smile like before.
The hit Cabba in the guts with a kick that send him flying over a dozen meters.
Then in one of his hands he charged up a blast of Destruction Energy and fired it at the Universe 6 Saiyan.
Cabba barely managed to stand up and desperately fire a blast on his own to counter the Destruction Attack.
He send all his power into his two handed blast, that still barely managed to slow down Quitella´s one handed one.
The Destruction Energy was just eating itself through Cabba´s blast and coming closer and closer.
This was it, Cabba knew. If none of the others came to help him, it was over for him.
He thought about the others, Caulifla, Kale, Master Vegeta, his mother, his comrades from the Defense Force.
But suddenly Quitella´s Destruction Blast was hit by a second one from the side and dissolved.
Heles, who had fired the second blast, now appeared in front of Quitella, Cabba, Trunks and Goten - with Marron and Frost not far behind her.
"Thank you," Cabba said.
"Don´t mention it," Heles replied.

Toppo meanwhile had joined the others in the fight against the Beast. He was forming a line with Hit, Twenty One and Coccote.

Quitella was now facing a very enraged Heles, one Super Saiyan Blue and two very powerful Super Saiyan Two´s.
This were not good chances anymore.
"Towa," he called out, "I could use some help here!"
Meanwhile Towa – who was still struggling with Jiren – just sighed.
This was truly not the most reliable ally.
She lifted her hands and charged up an attack. Instead of at her opponent Jiren however, she turned around and fired at in the direction of Heles and her allies.
Jiren moved and intercepted and stopped the blast.
But that also gave Towa time to act on her own. Just as she had expected.
She now appeared right next to Quitella.
With Heles, Cabba, Trunks, Goten, Marron and Frost standing in front of them.
"I guess this is enough," Towa said. "Have already have that we came for after all. There is no reason to stay here any longer."
"Do you think we will just stand by and let you bastards walk away?" Goten asked.
Marron was standing right next to him.
"You know – your families have caused us some trouble in the past," she addressed them.
"Especially yours has for me especially," she said to Marron.

She remembered her own fight with Seventeen and Mira´s with Eighteen.
How an artificial being created by a mortal was able to fight her to a standstill – her.
And another one her best Servant.
It had been a humiliation that she had never forgotten.

Suddenly a portal was being opened behind Marron, Goten and Cabba.
"Yes – your uncle and your mother were truly troublesome," she remarked.
"Marron!" Goten called out, turning around to her.
Towa made a small gesture and Marron - along with Goten and Cabba who tried to save them - were pushed backwards through the portal.
A very unlucky Frost, who was standing too close behind them, was also caught in it.
"No – wait," he called out. "I want…"
But it was too later. He fell through it as well.
One moment later the portal disappeared.
"What have you done to them?" Trunks called out angrily.
"This was some kind of time-space portal," Twenty One stated. She too sounded worried.
"Bring them back to us now!" Trunks yelled.
"Where did you send them?" Jiren – who just appeared next to them – asked Towa. He was more calm than Trunks, but he too sounded all but happy.
In the last years he had learned the vallue of comrades and allies. And this two were allies.
The fighting around them had stopped. Or at least slowed down.
The Beast was still in attack position, with it´s opponents ready to react. But at Hoy´s mental command, it was not making any direct moves.
"Send them back!" Kakunsa shouted at Towa with a roar.
"Yes," Ribrianne called out as well.
"Where you ask?" Towa replied. "Well – let us say I send them to another place and time," she stated.
"You can not do that," Ribrianne shouted enraged. "Bring them back now."
"Why are you even so worried about this?" Towa asked with a wicked smile."After all you barely know this people, right?"
"I-… Seventeen and Eighteen have done so much for us. And on our first mission with her we loose Eighteen´s daughter," Ribrianne said quietly.
"Well - if you want to have them back this badly, maybe I am willing to give you a chance to. Of course in exchange you will have to let me and my allies leave peacefully."
Towa moved her hand and another portal opened in front of them.
Quitella meanwhile looked at the group of his Warriors. Who were still standing at the far side of the battlefield, like they had from the beginning.
"Now – this is your last chance. Will you join us?" he asked them.
They still hesitated for a short moment… but then.
"I will never take part in something like this," Ghanos said.
The others agreed. In one or two cases maybe more out of fear of angering all the other Gods instead of conviction.
"Too bad," Quitella replied, "… for you."
"We can not just let this villains leave," Toppo said. "There is no telling what damage they could do to the universes."
"There is no guaranty that we can stop them if we continue fighting anyway," Cocotte commented. "We have tried the whole time without much luck."
Toppo gritted his teeth. He knew she had a point here.
The topic however had become meaningless very quickly.
Seak and Mira had used the distraction and moved next to Hoy. Then Seak lifted his staff and he, Mira, Hoy and The Beast through a rift between the dimensions.
Meanwhile Trunks didn´t hesitate and jumped right through the portal Towa had just opened.
"Wait," Twenty One called out after him, "this portal could lead anywhere."
But he had already disappeared.
Damn, she thought.
"I must really be crazy," she said, before she followed him through the portal.
The next who jumped through was Ribrianne.
Quickly followed by Jemeze.
"I will look out for Lady Ribrianne," he assured the others right before he left.
The next were Caulifla and Kale.
"Come Kale – let us get our man back," Caulifla said.
"Okay Sis," Kale responded, before they both passed the portal.
As soon as they were gone, Towa closed it.
And then she suddenly… broke out into halling laughter.
"Idiots!" she called out. "Really - I have heard that your Warriors were not the smartest, but this…"
"And what do you mean by that?" Heles asked her angrily.
"Why don´t you figure it out yourself? You are the Goddess, right?" Towa replied.
In the next moment she and Quitella disappeared as well, before anyone had the presence of mind even to react.

Somewhere else
In the next moment Trunks and the others found themselves at another place.
The sky was blue. The sun was shining brightly.
In some distance they could see a few trees.
It looked nearly as if they were back on Earth.
As Trunks looked around, he realized how many people had decided to follow him. Not only Twenty One, but also some of the Universe Six and Two Fighters.
But Trunks also realized one other thing.
"Where are Goten, Marron, Cabba and Frost?" he asked.
"That´s what I wanted to tell you right now," Twenty One yelled at him angrily. "These portals can lead anywhere. That means there was no guaranty that the second one went to the same place as the first."
Not only Trunks but also all the other ones around were looking at her in shock. Did that mean they just jumped into the unknwon for no reason?
"Are we really back on Earth?" Trunks asked.
"It lookes like it," Twenty One stated. "My sensors confirm it too."
"The place looks quite similar like what I remember from our last visit," Ribrianne stated.
"Yeah," Caulifla agreed.
"But there is one difference," Twenty One stated. "Try to sense the energy. The population of this planet is much lower than the Earth weh ave just left."
"What?" Trunks called out.
"By my estimation just around 60 to 65%."
"Someone is coming," Caulifla said a second later.
"They have probably sensed out arrival," Trunks stated. "Maybe we now find out more about where we are."
As they saw the two figures arriving a few moments later, Trunks had a feeling that he should not be surrpised.
He came face to face with… himself. Only that this other Trunks was several years older and was carrying a large sword on his back.
He had a good feeling that this was the same Trunks from the future who came to their timeline several times and he had met during the fight against Goku black.
The second figure – yes this was clearly Son Gohan. Only that this Gohan was missing one arm and and had a large scar across his face.
A moment later a third figure arrived. This one was a third Trunks. This version of him one being around his own age.
This answered the question where they were, Trunks thought.
He remembered how Future Trunks and Future Mai had returned to a recreated version of their timeline. One however where already existed native versions of themselves.
That explained the presence of not only Gohan, but a third Trunks as well.
To their luck that also meant that their presence here would probably not create yet another timeline.
Mai, he remembered – she was still in Universe Two. What if they didn´t make it back?
"You are the me from the past?" Future Trunks - the older one – asked.
He nodded.
"Why are you here?" Future Gohan asked them.
"Believe us - we are not exactly here on purpose," Caulifla stated unhappily.
Well – that was half-true at least. What in the world had he been thinking, Trunks asked himself? To just jump into this like that.
And that at the word of an enemy? Towa´s portal could just as easily send them inside a sun, he realized.
They all were looking quite frustrated about the way they came here.
Maybe they would be able to contact the Kaioshin, so that he could help them get back to their timeline.
Another question was: If they were here, where were Goten, Marron and the others?
"So this is another timeline?" Caulifla asked. "Like that other one weh have visited."
"Yes," Trunks replied.
"You two are Saiyans," Future Gohan said, looking at Caulifla and Kale.
"Yes – they are from Universe Six," Present Trunks explained.
"And she is an Android," the younger Future Trunks pointed at 21.
"Twenty One is an ally," Present Trunks stated. "Actually she had been mother´s assistant for the last three years."
This took the two versions of Future Trunks and even Gohan quite by surprise.
"And who are they?" Future Gohan asked, now looking at Ribrianne and Jimeze.
"They are from Universe Two," Trunks said.
Ribrianne now released her transformation and turned back into Brianne.
The three natives of this timeline looked gobsmacked at her sudden change of appearance.
"I am Brianne de Chateau - Warrior of Love of Universe Two," she introduced herself with a somewhat forced smile. "I am happy to meet you, regardless the circumstances…
… even if the circumstances are quite terrible," she said a bit quieter.
"Ahm Trunks – is she for real?" Future Gohan asked.
"The Warriors of Universe Two are a bit - ahm unusual - by our standards, but they are trustworthy," Trunks replied.
"Tell me – are you able to contact the Kaioshin? Or at least Master Kaio or the Namekians?" he asked.
"Master Kaio or the Namekians?" Future Gohan said. "Well – finding them is no problem. We actually located New Namek some time ago. But getting there?
In fact we have been collecting energy for a space ship for a few years to get the Dragon Balls back, but…"
"This should not be a problem," Jimeze stated.

Somewhere else
In the next moment Goten, Marron, Cabba and Frost found themselves at another place.
The sky was blue. The sun was shining brightly.
In some distance they could see a few trees. It looked nearly as if they were back on Earth.
"Are we back home?" Goten asked.
"It looks like it," Cabba stated.
"Well – I can not say anything about it," Frost commented. "I have never been on your homeworld or any other version of Earth."
Marron staid quiet and concentrated for a moment.
"No," she said sharply. "There are human energies – yes. But there are less than a third of the number that should be."
"What? Yes – I sense it as well," Goten said. "I can also not feel the energy of our fathers, Vegeta or the others anymore. This can not be our Earth. They would not simply have disappeared so easily."
"Are you saying that something had just wiped out over two thirds of the population of this planet?" Cabba asked outraged.
"Yes – and it is still going on. Do you sense this?" Goten pointed in one direction.
They felt life energies going out in a quick pace – hundreds of them, if not thousands.
It was in a few hundreds kilometers distance.
"Let us take a look," Goten said with a grim expression.
"Yes," Marron and Cabba said nearly at the same time.
As they finally arrived at the place in question and looked down at what were clearly the ruins of a human town, they saw something that made Marron and Goten freeze in yet another shock.
Down there they saw Seventeen and Eighteen – Marron´s mother and Uncle – standing in the center of the destruction and switching between shooting blasts into the to a great part already wrecked building and firing into small crowds of survivors.
They came just in time to see Eighteen blast a fleeing group of four – one of them a woman carrying a small child…
… and Seventeen shooting a couple of young women, who were running in the opposite direction.
"No," Marron whispered in horror. "This can not be."
"Seventeen? Eighteen?" Cabba said in complete shock.
"This are not them. We are in another timeline," Goten explained. "This versions of them are evil."
"I understand," Cabba said with a very grim expression. He started to power up once again.
"No," Marron said. "We can not harm them."
"I understand that they are technically your family," Cabba replied, "but what these two are doing…"
"That is not what I am meaning. Lord Beerus had warned us that if we create any more new timelines, it might help free Demigra."
"It is possible that alone our presence has already created a new one," Goten reminded her.
"Yes – but not for sure. We might still be able to avoid it."

I guess the ending of this chapter is quite a surprise for all readers.
First Future Trunks appears again, along with Future Gohan.
Also – Goten, Trunks, Marron and the others are not only send to the Mirai Timeline, but two different Mirai Timelines.
For explanations: the one where Goten, Marron, Cabba and Frost currently are is the timeline where Cell originally came from, that was never changed by Zamasu´s, Zeno´s or Whiz actions.

Side-Comment:
I have recently recapitulated the ToP Arc of Super.
After some rewatching, I have to say I have to change my earlier estimation for the powerlevel of some of the characters for the Tournament of Power upwards.
This are first Seventeen and Toppo.
Goku had stated that he was not sure if he could beat Toppo, even using Blue-Kaioken Ten and hinted that he considered using Twenty against him.
Seventeen however had nearly matched him in an not really fair beam-struggle that he had barely lost. Where he had his back turned to him first and had to turn around first, while Toppo was already firing.
Even if we ignore the advantage that Toppo had since he fired first and had more time to power up, the fact that Seventeen had been able to keep up the beam-struggle for so long means that he and Toppo can not be far apart. (Compared to opponents who had a large gap, where one just tanks a blast or even jumps right through it without any damage – SSG Goku vs Kale, Eighteen vs Super Ribrianne etc.)
Given Freeza´s comment about Seventeen `toying around´, it is also implied that (at least according to Freeza) maybe he could have taken Toppo if he fought serious from the start.
Seventeen had also been able to fight an entire episode against God Toppo and then another one against the even stronger Jiren while being injured, tanks multiple hits and blasts, kept standing after a fist clash with him and held back Jiren´s final attack.
So I would put both Seventeen and Toppo at around Blue Kaioken Times Ten Level.

Next are Eighteen and Ribrianne´s Super Forms.
Originally I had pinpointed Eighteen at somewhere between Super Saiyan Two to Three Level, with Super Saiyan Three being the likely maximum (based on Goku and Vegeta after God Ki power-up).
I would change this to place Eighteen being at at least Super Saiyan Three Level. Based mostly on the Ribrianne fight.

For comparison, Ribrianne in her first small super form had forced Base Goku at the defensive, so that he transformed right into SSB to knock her down.
Only that Goku had shown the ability to fight opponents on SSj and even SSj2 in Base Form, due to an advantage in skill and experience.
We have literally seen him outperform an SSj2 Caulifla for a while. And that was when he was weakened and exhausted. Only when she got used to his fighting style he was forced to transform.
Ribrianne on the other hand overpowered him from the start and forced him to do nothing but fall back.
You could argue that maybe Brianne is a better martial artist than Caulifla.
Only that she is "not". In fact she is an even worse one. Brianne had not even an actual concept of matial arts or fighting skill as she admitted herself.
So Small Super Ribrianne should at least be stronger than SSj2 Caulifla.
For the calculation I had placed SSj2 Caulifla comparible to SSj1 Goku (and that is possibly downplaying her). That would place Small Super Ribrianne logically at least a bit above SSj1 Goku.

Looking back however I would say I underestimated the difference between being temporally outperformed by an completely exhausted Base Goku and completely overwhelming a fit one from the start.
Also, placing SSj2 Caulifla just on SSj1 Goku´s level powerwise is probaly downplaying her too much.
So I would place Small Super Ribrianne now far above SSj1 Goku and probaly close to or maybe even on SSj2 Level.
Her Giant Super Form in conclusion should be clearly "above" SSj2 then.
Eighteen however was so much more powerful than her that she could jump straight through her strongest blasts and still hit her with enough force to punch right through her large avatar body.
So I think it is justified to put Eighteen on SSj3 Level or higher. (Of course one problem it that in this fandom we have too many idiots who want to place character´s power just by fanboyism instead of feats.)

Kale would I place somewhere between Super Saiyan Two and Three like before.
And Gohan, also like before, around Super Saiyan Blue Level.
