Jax noticed that Tig was acting stranger than usual. He was actually pouting because he hadn't been part of delivering the beat down to the hood rats that tried to jack their rides last night. Happy called him a girl and surprisingly Tig hadn't tried to punch him out. Tig had just looked at him and stuck his bottom lip out in an even bigger pout, which made Happy's comment all the more accurate.
That time sitting in the chapel with all his brothers around him enjoying the Mexican fiesta in Clay's dark humored tribute to Esai was when he loved the MC best. It was the feeling of brotherhood and that bond of love that kept him in the MC. And he was also in a great mood because all he could think about was tomorrow's getaway with Scarlett and finally having sex with her. Sex was never far from his mind but since Scarlett told him she was ready, he was always thinking about sex. It was the background music of his life only now it was in stereo surround sound.
As they were munching on their tacos and nachos, Jax got the idea for the perfect gift to give Scarlett. He hadn't been going to get her a gift because it would look like he was giving her a present for sleeping with him, but this idea was too good to not use and it had to be before they were together for the first time.
Jax slipped off after lunch to get the present for Scarlett. He even got a gift bag with wildflowers all over it and bright blue tissue paper. It was going to be a fancy gift. He grinned wondering what Scarlett's reaction was going to be.
