Sorry for the wait, I have this really bad habit of over-complicating stories which leave me stuck, so I was writing out my next chapters to try and see how many there would be. I am reorganizing/removing unneeded problems from my future chapters with my sisters help, so bare with me, thanks.

(Sophia's POV)

"I heard you haven't given them an answer yet." I move, lining up my shot and toss it. The blade sinks into the dummy head across the room. My hand grabs another as Bishop B leans on the wall "Am I not getting an answer either?"

I roll my eyes, tossing another blade. The heavy thunk was extremely satisfying.

B grabs the final blade, tossing it with a fancy spin and it lands dead center of the chest. When she finds my eyes I look away, grabbing the small hand-gun off the wall and pull the slide.

I could feel her beside me, her hand resting on mine.

"Talk to me J, I'm a great listener remember?"

We stand there for probably thirty seconds before I sigh

"I've always been in tune with the universe. Some peoples knees ached before a storm, have an unquenchable thirst before a storm. For me, it was dreams. I helped my neighbor, she had complications with a pregnancy and was home alone, My mother said I was gifted. But as the years went on I began to see it as a curse. I had one before my father left, then my neighbors cat, she died. And Finally, my mother and my brother. I begged them not go, but they insisted..."

"So you having dreams about Alexia..."

I hold her gaze

"I'm just worried B. I'm worried I'm gonna bite off more then I can chew."

"Do you wanna know what I think?" B holds my arm "I think that life will happen as it does. We can't change fate. But looking back sixty years from now, don't you wanna say you had the courage to be a part of it?"

"I'd be starting from nothing..."

B grabs the gun, checking the safety before aiming at the target.

"So, it hasn't stopped you before."

..

..

"You guys seriously have nothing?" I glance between the two of them "you have how many people combing the streets and no one saw anything?!"

The silence was deafening.

Of course not Sophia, because why would we ever hire competent people..."Okay," I run my hands through my hair.

"Where are you going?"

I yank the heavy door open "Back to the start."

"why?"

"Because if I could find Alexia in four days and they couldn't do it in two weeks I really don't trust their detective skills."

I grab my phone, bypassing the various security measures and call the third number. The line rings five times.

"Golden Gate library, Sheila speaking."

"Hello Sheila, is Carson there?"

"Card number?"

"758-432-6992"

"Let me transfer you."

"Go for Carson."

"I need information on a client I picked up. Four guys were with her, I need to find them."

"Address?"

"14 Macobe street west, just past the old skating rink."

"time?"

"About 4-4:15?"

I could hear typing on the computer "Your book will be ready in three hours."

The line goes dead.

..

..

I walk to the front desk, sending the older lady a smile.

"Welcome to the Golden Gate library, how may I help you?" A tired voice asks.

"I'm here to pick out a library book."

"Which section."

"Something with clouds. I'm quite the weather witch."

She glances at me briefly before scribbling down a number.

"Fourth floor, all the way to the back."

After a long walk I browse down the isle, my fingers stopping at the book. Inside was partially hollowed out, a memory stick stuck between it. I flip out the stick and find the nearest computer, with the access code mama gave me four files come up.

"Duncan Kirk. Armed robbery, petty theft, battery. No priors.

Alec Traviosky. Petty robbery, battery and assault.

Michael Volkov, car theft, petty robbery." I flip to the last page

"Tristan Wallish." My eyes flicker to the face, instantly remembering him as the man on top of alexia.

(Alexia's POV)

The room blurred around me, a sour smell I couldn't quite place fills my nose. I groan softly, turning into a stale pillow. I could hear noises around me, funny noises here and there. I see a blurry figure beside me, hands on my arms before everything goes dark.

(Sophia's POV)

Finding them was easier then expected. I made a few calls, did a few hours of surveillance and soon enough found myself inside a strip club. Why did it always have to be a strip club...

I sigh, adjusting the small scarf around my neck and eye up my body. The typical outfit hugged my curved, exposed my stomach and thighs and the heels were about four inches to high but I buried any complaints.

"Hey, I'm Lexi, are you new here?"

I take in the blonde before me, her eyes were far to innocent for this job.

"Yeah, kind of. I'm filling in for a friend." I grab my lip gloss, content on ignoring her when she sits beside me.

"Well that's good." she gently curls her hair "I should warn you, this place isn't for everyone."

"Are you a dancer?"

"Me, no," she blushes "I'm way to self conscious for that. I serve drinks, like you from the looks of it."

"Depends on the night." I smile. We fall into silence for a few minutes "Hey Lexi, is there anyone here that scares you?"

"Scares me?"

"Yeah, like I know most of the men here aren't exactly gentlemen but is there anyone that stands out?"

She lowers the curler "There is this one group of guys yeah. Marcus has had to toss them out more then a few times for getting to rowdy."

"Well, let me handle those guys okay? I know a thing or two about rowdy men."

we pulled into the club, the grin growing on my face. I eyed the girls, sending a few of them a wink and slap a few asses along the way. We drop at our typical booth, eyeing the stage and the blonde on the pole. Duncan lets out a whistle as she drops into the splits. Soon her bra lands on the floor, the lights traveling up her body.

"Hello gentlemen, what can I get you?"

I eyed the blonde before me.

"Whisky."

"Tequila"

"Vodka, on the rocks." i grunt, eyeing the stage.

"You're not our usual server." Alec states, eyeing the blonde with appreciation.

"No, she was sick, so I picked up a shift."

"Name?"

"Candace." she winks at him

"Hurry up and get our drinks bitch, I don't have all night."

She holds my gaze and my gut tightens just the slightest before she smiles, turning away.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we invite you to turn your attention to the stage." the lights flicker to red, swirling along the long cat walk "you've been asking about her all night. Please give a warm welcome to Charity!"

The room explodes with applause.

..

..

"Anything else?"

Candace was back.

I shuffle, clearing my throat. It felt unusually hot for the club but I shrug it off.

"The usual." I grunt

She smiles, walking back to the bar. I eyed her body, her longer legs and exposed underwear as she leans over the bar to talk. I swallow, turning back to the stage and smile.

Soon enough she's placing a drink before me. I eyed the three shots.

"We didn't order these."

"Their from a friend." Candace smiles "On the house."

The guys smile, tossing back the drinks.

"Come on, it would be rude to ignore a free drink." she urges again. She puts a hand on my shoulder as I toss back the drink.

About thirty seconds later the room start to spin. Duncan, Alec and Michael slump in their chairs. I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to shake this drowsiness and stand, stumbling to the wall.

"Hey, hey, easy tiger." I find Candance beside me

"Fuck off."

"You shouldn't fight it you know." she smiles

"What?"

She smiles as my knees hit the ground, slowly pulling off the blonde wig. My heart stops as my body hits the floor "It's rude to ignore your fairy god-mother."

(Sophia's POV)

I glance down at the man before me, lightly kicking his side as the line rings.

"This is the Joker, I need a pick up at the Lexington Club on seventh. Four males."

"Cars on its way." a male answers.

"Good, and make sure the questioning room is open."

Read and Review people. Peace!
