Kirigiri then saw the Hagakure family approaching and there Ohgami took the blankets and ripped them before tying them together, and then laced them with gasoline, and there Takaki tells Kirigiri to get everyone on board the speedboat as he said that he and Ohgami will get the engines to SELF-DESTRUCT by overheating it and laces the clothes with gasoline, and the rest are self-explanatory.
