Chapter 24
"Kyurem! Use Freeze Shock!" Alice commands, and Kyurem, who is in the Black Kyurem form, puts its claws together, and a light bluish-white ball of energy surrounded by electricity is formed and becomes larger. Black Kyurem then separates its claws, and the ball is fired at the soldiers, freezing them.
"Aurorus! Use Freeze Dry!" Ash has Aurorus use the move on the Water Type Pokemon led by the soldiers at Route 13, freezing them and knocking them out.
Mark says, "Those guys are using X Items, however, they are not going to get away that easily." Then he goes for Freezy Frost, making a crystal made of cold frozen haze, and eliminating every stat changes among all the Pokémon engaged in battle.
"Beartic! Frost Breath!" Alice also commands the Beartic as it uses the cold breath to land the attack. Now they are at Tapu Village, where they free Nanu and Acerola in the Aether House.
"It sure takes you a long time to come." Nanu says.
"Sorry about that, Officer Nanu. We have to fight our way through." Ash says. "They didn't do anything to you, right?"
"Not at all." Acerola says. "Mimikins and I are also fighting, although we might have killed some of them..."
"I don't think I want to ask about it." Lillie says with a sweatdrop.
Then they also meet a boy who is under the control of the government. His name is Elio, and his team consists of Meowth, Incineroar, Wishiwashi, Mimikyu, and Crabominable. Team Alpha is fighting against his Pokemon and eventually, they are defeated, and Elio also returns back to normal.
"Are you okay?" Ash asks the boy, who holds his head, and says, "I guess so... what happened?"
"What was the last thing you remembered?" Alice asks.
"I remember that my sister and I are training for the Alola League at our house until everything becomes blank to me." Elio says. "This is the Tapu Village, right? Why am I on Ula'ula Island when I should've been staying on Melemele Island?"
"Let's say that the government controls you to do their evil things." Lillie says. "We of Team Alpha are fighting against them. We'll have a ship for you to take you back to Melemele Island."
"No, I'll help. If you say that I'm controlled, that means my sister might also be controlled. If I come with you, I'll be able to save her."
Ash says, "It's fine, you can help. But you have to know that we also won't hesitate to kill our enemies."
"It's fine for me." Elio says.
As they continue forward, Alice has Kyurem return to his normal form and yells, "Use Glaciate!"
Kyurem blows out freezing cold air and causes the place to be frozen, it also lowers the Speed Stats of the Pokemon while destroying the cities.
"Out of my way!" Ash says while he jumps onto Glastrier, and he creates a blizzard-cloaked icicle lance and kills some soldiers. Golly says, "That was supposed to be Ice Rider Calyrex's move. But I guess my brother can also use it perfectly."
"You're right about that." Mark says.
Ash jumps off Glastrier and says, "Alice, I'm going to do it."
Alice nods as Ash uses the Dynamax Band and Gigantamax Lapras. "Lapras! G-Max Resonance!"
The Attack not only deals a lot of damage to the enemies, but it also sets up the Aurora Veil to reduce the damage from their side.
"The Hail is about to stop, what are we going to do?" Gladion asks.
"Glalie and Walrein, set up the Hail again, please!" Alice says, and the two Pokemon creates more hail storm.
"Why would they have to fight with Ice Types instead of using other types?" Elio asks Kiawe, who replies, "That's because they want to save the other types for other regions. They did use Fighting Types for Melemele and Akala Islands."
"I see..." Sophocles says.
Then Articuno uses Haze to eliminate every stat change among all the Pokémon engaged in battle, and then Ash and Alice defeat all of the Unova Soldiers on the island.
"Ula'ula is also complete. One more Island left and we'll get Alola back to its own people." Alice says.
"We'll leave some people here for the island's reconstruction. I think it will be better if we finish Poni Island right now." Ash says.
They quickly rush to Poni Island, even though they have been ambushed by assistance from the other regions, but they are no match for the cannons on the ship and the weapons they are using.
When they reach Poni Island, they decide to free Hapu, the Kahuna who is imprisoned at Poni Breaker Coast.
"Walrein! Ice Ball!" Alice says, and Walrein opens its mouth and creates a ball of ice that it launches at the enemies. The move is used five times, and each time the ice ball gets bigger. Also, the bigger it is, the longer it takes to charge up.
"Dewgong, Cloyster, Lapras, Articuno! Ice Beam!" Ash says, and the four Pokemon use the attacks to freeze the weapons, causing them to self-destruct.
"Now's our chance! Kyurem! Ice Burn!" White Kyurem's body glows orange and creates a circular reddish-purple aura around itself. It then releases multiple reddish-purple beams of energy at the enemies.
"Ash and Alice are really fighting hard..." Lillie says while seeing Ash's Glaceon, Mamoswine, and Froslass use Ice Fang, flinching the opponents.
"I agree." Insey says, "But they're the leaders of Team Alpha and they need to be strong for us."
Alice also has Crabominable use Ice Hammer, swinging its strong, heavy fist at the targets to inflict damage. This also lowers Crabominable's Speed stat.
"Jynx! Ice Punch!" Ash says. Jynx's hand is surrounded by an icy glow, punching the enemies in the way.
"Abomasnow, Weavile, Glaceon, Mamoswine, Froslass! Ice Shard!" Alice yells as they use the attack and destroys the bullets that are targetting them.
"Cetitan! Ice Spinner!" Cetitan covers its feet in thin ice and twirls around, slamming into the targets, and also destroying the Misty Terrain set up by them.
"Vanilluxe, Beartic! Icicle Crash!" Alice continues to command, small clumps of ice form in the wind and grow longer and larger, forming into sharp icicles. The icicles then rain down on the opponents.
"We can't just let the Pokemon fight themselves, we also need to fight as well." Argo says to Ash and Alice, who nod while they use Icicle Spears and Icy Wind. Once they are destroyed, they finally reach the place where Hapu is imprisoned.
"So you finally come." Hapu says.
"Yeah, and now we have all four Kahunas freed." Ash says. "We'll need to eliminate the Unova Soldiers from the island."
"I'll help too." Hapu says as they nod.
Then Alice Dynamaxes Eiscue and has it use Max Hailstorm, creating another Snowstorm while they make their way to the Altar of Sunne.
"Lapras! Articuno! Use Mist!" Ash commands so that the opponents aren't going to use stat-lowering moves on their Pokemon.
"Avalugg! Use Mountain Gale!" The Hisuian Avalugg hurls giant chunks of ice at the target to inflict damage. Elio asks, "What is going on? Why is that Avalugg has a Rock body?"
"That's the Hisuian Form." Sophocles says, "And it is Ice and Rock Type. That move is Mountain Gale, and by the looks of it, it makes the targets flinch.
They finally reach the Altar, and they find that Lana is the one standing there and she's using Primarina. "Lana!" Mallow calls out.
"She's also under control..." Gladion says.
"Don't worry. Pikachu can handle this." Ash says as he has Pikachu battle her Primarina, with the eventual Gigavolt Havoc, Lana's Primarina is defeated and Lana also returns to normal.
"Ash..." Lana is surprised to see him saving her, and she also realizes that Kiawe and the others are also there.
"Long story short, we save you from being controlled, and we're having a war with the Governments in the Alola Region. The only ones left are at the Battle Tree.
Then with Lana joining them, they reach the Battle Tree while fighting the other soldiers on the way. Some of them are frozen by the Powder Snow from the Ketchum family.
"Looks like our Pokemon are getting a little tired..." Ash says. "Glalie, Walrein! Sheer Cold!"
Then he decides to go for the One-Hit Kill and destroy the Pokemon and the enemies, then Alice takes out the Z Crystal and says, "Lillie, do you want to do it together?"
"Sure." Then they do the Ice Type Z Move and yell, "Subzero Slammer!"
Both Alolan Ninetales create a platform of ice that rises from beneath its feet. They then fire a large blue and white beam of cold energy from its mouth, covering the opponent and the battlefield in ice. The ice around the opponents grows outward before bursting apart.
"Thanks for help." Alice says while high-fiving Lillie.
"No problem." Lillie says.
"Yeah, you guys did a good job." Ash says while using Triple Axel, hitting the opponents and defeating the last of them. The only one left is a girl who is under control. She is using Vikavolt, Primarina, Toxapex, Muk, and Dhelmise.
"That's my sister Selene! So they also control her!" Elio says.
"Don't worry, we'll save her." Ash says. And by defeating all of their Pokemon, Selene is eventually freed. Elio hugs his sister and says, "I'm sorry, Selene. You're safe now."
"Elio... I... what happened?" Selene is confused.
After the explanation, Selene says, "I see... I'm sorry that I gave you a lot of trouble."
"It's fine, we win the war of the Alola Region. Now Alola is safe from the corrupted governments." Alice says.
Once they return to the Aether Paradise, Ash turns to the Ice Type Pokemon that they own: Alolan Sandslash, Alolan Ninetales, Dewgong, Cloyster, Jynx, Lapras, Articuno, Delibird, Glalie, Walrein, Regice, Abomasnow, Weavile, Glaceon, Mamoswine, Froslass, Galarian Darmanitan, Vanilluxe, Beartic, Cryogonal, Kyurem, Aurorus, Avalugg, Hisuian Avalugg, Crabominable, Mr. Rime, Frosmoth, Eiscue, Arctozolt, Arctoish, Glastrier, Cetitan, Iron Bundle, Baxcalibur, and Chien-Pao
"All of you have done your good job in fighting for the two islands. We manage to conquer the Alola Region. Thank you for your help." Alice says, and the Ice Type Pokemon all nod in agreement. Then Ash and Alice decide to have a meeting with the Kahunas while talking about the aftermath of the Alola Region.
"Those Team Alpha really defeat and kill all of our armies in the Alola Region!" Karl says in an angry tone. "They are really keen on destroying us."
"Indeed, it is not safe for us when they come to our regions." Swordard says. "Any idea where they're heading next?"
"I heard that they're going to Galar." Marie says, causing the siblings to pale. "Surely you have the plan to stop them, right?"
"Of course we have." Shielbert says. "Just wait and see."
Then after the meeting is over, Swordard asks, "Do we really have a plan?"
"We'll need to use the remaining Wishing Stars to fight against them, they won't expect a Dynamaxing Army." Shielbert says, "Although I'm still mad at the fact that they didn't give us any one of the trainers who are close to Ash Ketchum..."
"But we still have 4 controlled elite trainers to help us out." Swordard says.
And here is a new chapter, as you can see, the war in the Alola Region finally comes to an end, and I hope you like this chapter. The next chapter will begin the battle with the Galar Region. Will Ash and Alice manage to stop the Galar Region or will they fail?
