Chapter 31 season 3 the Beach episode we were cheated out of Part 2

The next morning, we were all woken up by Medea who said Sato had gotten up early to help make us all breakfast so we should eat as soon as possible. I smiled warmly at Mina who was still sound asleep and kissed her gently on the forehead and said, "hey babe it's time to wake up"

Mina groaned and said, "five more minutes"

I chuckled and said, "if we wait 5 more minutes you won't be able to experience the best part"

Mina turned over to look at me and said, "what?"

I chuckled as I got out of bed and changing into some clothes and said, "the diving, by my calculations we should be getting close to diving any minute now"

As soon as I walked out and out of the bedroom block, I looked to see Sato had made chocolate chip muffins, bacon and even pancakes for all of us, a perfect breakfast.

I smirked and looked at Medea and said, "Medea report, how long till we reach the sea?"

Medea appeared and said, "ETA 5 minutes, I just passed a naval base and we're currently in route to an unused boat drop off point, so everyone should be able to see it"

I grinned and said, "good, open all blinds, activate all night vision equipment and illumination devices, I want the journey to Atlantis to be one of awe".

I then grabbed Mineta and yeeted him outside the bus and watched him try to clamor back inside.

Iida gave me a stern look and with a sigh I stopped the bus and watched Mineta hit his head against the back of it. To add insult to injury every time he tried to get on Medea moved the bus a couple inches forward till finally, I let him get on.

Deku looked at me and said, "so we're really going into the sea?"

I nodded and said, "there are no access points to Atlantis above sea level, so we have to dive"

Toru spat out a muffin and said, "wait we're going underwater!"

I nodded and said, "are you afraid?"

Toru said, "nope I'm excited to see what the ocean looks like underwater!"

Bakugou looked at me and said, "wait how will we be able to see?"

I pointed to the glass and said, "it's made of a special illuminating material that is above my current education to explain but as far as I know it uses an electrical current to light up the glass enough for the outside to be visible, sort of like how truckers use special glasses to see things better at night without glare, add in the lights the bus has on the outside and bam you got yourselves someway to see the ocean"

Medea then said, "brace for ocean Impact, everyone please take your seats!"

I shouted, "you heard the lady, everyone sit down and get ready for impact"

A bunch of handles then appeared out of the air for people to hold on to and I yeeted Mineta into his pod and watched as the whole thing turned till it was horizontal and sticking out of the bus behind us.

Mineta looked worried and said, "Jango, why is this thing airtight, what are you doing!"

"Using you as bait in case a shark attacks us, we just got to eject you with some chum and bam we're all free!" I chuckled

Mineta started to panic as the boat hit the water and slowly kept going till it was full submerged.

Medea then said, "activating Sub Mode"

All the windows suddenly opened and lit up to show the ocean, the four engines then came out on both buses and activated turning into engines propelling us through the sea like a submarine.

With a smirk on my face I said, "shall we finish eating breakfast on the second floor?"

We all collectively nodded, and I made some coffee while everyone clamored upstairs to take seats near the windows so they could eat breakfast and marvel at the sights outside. I had to admit this was a thing of beauty, the calm ocean, the sea life, the water glittering above us, it was like something out of a painting. I chuckled as I watched a school of Tuna pull up alongside us and Kaminari started to mimic them, only for him to scream as a shark swam past and ate it.

"Oh god that was horrifying!" Kaminari said while eating his bacon and pancakes.

Toru said, "nooo fishy, why!"

Bakugou laughed and said, "circle of life bitches"

I chuckled and watched as a pod of whales came by us.

"yo everyone look to your left!" I shouted pointing to the whales.

Everyone looked at them in awe and Todoroki took some pictures.

I looked at him and said, "want me to take the picture?"

He nodded and said, "we should take a class photo"

I nodded and brought everyone up and even let Mineta up with us and we got ready to take a picture with the pod of whales behind us.

"okay, now everyone say Class 1A" I shouted while using a drone to hold up the camera.

We all said Class 1A and took the picture just as we watched the whales swim away.

I looked at Yamomo with a smug smile and said, "top that rich bitch!"

Yamomo started to laugh and say, "Jango, I can never top this at all so bravo!"

I smirked and went back to eating my pancakes while we got closer to Atlantis.

Soon I heard Deku shout, "Jango we're almost there I can see lights!"

I grinned and said, "awesome okay everyone take your seats!"

Everyone nodded and sat down as the lights dimmed and a projector started in front of everyone.

A white man in a three-piece black suit, a dark legion pin on his lapel, Slicked black hair, and a black chevron mustache appeared on the film.

In a rough a deep voice the man said, "Ahh you must be the new guests! Welcome, welcome all of you to my fine city! My name is Thaddeus "Zeus" Anderson creator of a couple of the hidden bases around the world for the Dark Legion, in a couple minutes you will be arriving at the burlesques docking port so that gives me some time to introduce you and answer a question I'm guessing a few of you have asked yourselves. Now then I am you are wondering what exactly The Dark Legion stands for or what we fight for. Well, let me answer that with another question Is a man not entitled to what he believes in? 'No!' they all say, and countries have warred about this very question for ages. We soldiers of the Dark Legion Program believe that war has changed. It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles fought by mercenaries and machines. Humans are no strangers to war. After all, we've been fighting for as long as we can remember. But all that changed after Quirks came into light, now the common soldier is no different to a simple urchin on the street. Even now the news fails to talk about the wars still going on, or the soldiers who were lost in combat. While Heroes parade around being heralded as symbols of peace, we Legionnaires take the battle to those who take away those rights, those believe the sweat of a man's brow belongs to the government they don't support, to God they don't believe in, or to people they don't want to help. Some politicians may say that this idea is crazy, or we are nothing but mercenaries we of the Dark Legion believe we that the common soldier shall be heralded one day like a hero. To do this we must first make our soldiers into heroes, and to do this we have built a great city. BEHOLD THE GREAT CITY WHERE SOLDIERS ARE MADE INTO DEMIGODS…ATLANTIS!"

The dark tint on the glass then went away to reveal the beauty of Atlantis much to the amazement of everyone. Even Bakugou was shocked at the city and how beautiful it was.

Thaddeus continued, "A city where the inventor would not have to worry about needing a license to invent. Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality. Where the Hero is equal to a citizen. As long as you are here, no world Government can force you to worship who they want you to worship. No one can force you to give things away, no one will force anything harsh on you so long as you follow our rules no one will harm you. And maybe, just maybe with your contribution to the program we can show the world that soldiers are just as important as Heroes, welcome to the legion"

As we started to get closer to the burlesques docking port everyone marveled at the huge underwater city.

Deku looked at me and said, "Jango when you said Atlantis was big, I wasn't expecting this big!"

I chuckled and walked around the bus to answer any questions.

Sato pointed over to a bunch of building that were grouped together with a couple of domes and said, "that looks like its own garden, I think I can see plants inside there!"

I nodded my head and said, "Atlantis's air supply comes from that area Sato, it also happens to be the only nature preserve in all of Atlantis, so think of it like a petting zoo as well"

Mina then pointed over to another group of building with a neon lights sign depicting a lady with her legs crossed in a sundress and said, "that must be the beach area!"

I nodded my head looked over to see a giant squid pass over us.

Koji looked awe struck and I said, "you impressed?"

He shook his head eagerly and we got a call from the bus's phone.

I picked it up as a facetime call and it was Aizawa.

"ahh Mr. Aizawa what a surprise!" I said with a smile.

"Where are you guys?" he asked.

"we're just about to dock at Atlantis right now, why?" I asked.

Aizawa pointed over to a group of worried mothers.

"Most of them put a find my phone app on their children's phones before they left for your place and a couple minutes ago they went silent, can you please explain where you guys are?" Aizawa said.

I nodded my head and said, "an underwater city that belongs to a military cooperation I worked for, don't worry it isn't a military training base, or some ruins, it is a full city, and it is policed by some of the toughest soldiers around so don't you worry about your children they are in safe hands"

All the mothers sighed and went away as Aizawa said, "hope you guys have fun" and hung up.

We then started the docking procedures for the bus, and everyone watched in awe as the water went away before the bus was pulled into the dry area of the burlesques docking port.

Medea said, "docking procedure successful, you may now exit the bus and collect your things"

Iida then stood up and said, "okay everyone line up and single file outside, while also thanking Medea for getting us here, and Jango for allowing us to spend time here!"

I waved my hand and said, "I need no thanks Iida the fact you all came was heartwarming enough"

We all then went outside and were immediately in awe of the entire facility. It was the big, bigger that the entrance I was sent to. Huge pillars made of quartz lined the columns of the entire place, honestly the best way to describe it like being in the Parthenon.

A tram car then road up to us and parked right in front of us.

"Ahh 9292 it is very nice to see you again!" Doris said getting off the Tram to shake my hand.

I smiled and said, "ahh Doctor Doris, it is very nice to meet you, there is someone I'd love for you to meet"

I then motion for Toru to come to me.

"This is Toru Hagakure she's the one who I needed a stealth suit for" I said with a smile.

Doris chuckled and said, "ahh I can see why, that makes much more sense now" shaking Toru's hand

Toru giggled and said, "that stealth suit really came in handy I am grateful for it!"

Doris smiled softly and said, "well I am glad it worked perfectly, if there are any issues at all with it, please let me know!"

Gabby whistled and said, "this reminds of New York! The sprawling cities, the neon light signs, hell even the atmosphere and the layout just reminds me of new York during the 1920's!"

I was impressed myself, last time I was here I only got to see the military and top-secret areas, made of steel and little to no decorations, however I guess the common citizen gets to see something else, sprawling cities deep under water, wildlife most would only read about or see on tv, and the true creative genius of mankind.

Doris then looked at everyone and said, "I humbly welcome you to our fine city of Atlantis, please place your bags on the tram car, and Matias and I will take you all via the tram to the New York Heights, our luxury residential area"

Midoriya walked up and said, "A-actually is it okay if we stretch our legs first?"

Doctor Doris giggled and said, "sure we'll meet back here in a bit"

I nodded my head and walked up to a big glass window that allowed people to view the city. With all the lights and neon signs I could see the full city outlined and in full detail as if it were on dry land in the daytime. My gaze turned to a massive statue in the center of the city, it seemed like all the districts were connected to it in one way or another. The statue was made of pure platinum, depicting Poseidon reaching up with an obsidian assault rifle in one hand, as if to depict him rising to the surface, ready for war and in his other hand a knife made of ruby.

Doctor Doris walked over to me and said, "Poseidon rising for war, one of Mr. Thaddeus's best statue works, its built-on top of the platform that anchors Atlantis to the seafloor, without it the city would rise up to land, and other bits would crumble, it is our anchor keeping everything together, underneath it lays Hades, a device that makes bacteria that attaches to all the metals, keeping them from rusting away, while also connecting itself to a thermal vent that supplies the entire city with heat"

I whistled and said, "I must admit Doris… the dark legion really knows how to make bases"

Doris chuckled and said, "the founders were all war veterans…people who saw the worship and praise of heroes as an insult to the memories of the soldiers who gave their lives to get to this peace, they used their vast wealth and connections to build places like this, and create more bases in the hopes that one day the common soldier can be looked at as an equal to a hero, however Thaddeus was a paranoid man and wanted to keep everything top secret, just like Atlantis"

I smiled and said, "one day, that dream will be realized…but with what Doctor Minerva did, it may take longer"

Doctor Doris nodded and together we watched as a group of Sea Turtles swam past us.

"what Minerva did…the amount of blood she spilled, it was bound to be noticed one day…it was only a matter of time…she may have ruined part of the Dark Legion's reputation but we'll slowly rise from it, and get back to where we once were " Doris sighed.

I then pointed to a rather well-lit building that reminded me of the disk around the Seattle space needle and said, "what is that place?"

Doctor Doris chuckled and said, "the Neptune's Odyssey, the best steak house in Atlantis, it's also one of the most expensive ones"

I then looked at my watch and said, "time to get everyone back together" before whistling for everyone to meet back at the tram.

As we got back together, we immediately packed our stuff onto the tram car and got ready to depart.

Yamomo looked around said, "the mix of Art Deco and Greek influence is amazing!" while putting her stuff on the tram.

Doris giggled and said, "well when Atlantis was in its design phase, Art deco had made a comeback so we decided that would be the base look for the entire city, while also mixing in lavish Italian renaissance architecture"

As soon as everyone was on, I kicked Mineta off and Matias started the tram. as soon as we got to the end of the room, we were greeted by a rather huge bulkhead door with the word, "Oteris" on it.

I looked at Doctor Doris and said, "what is this?"

Doris smiled and said, "airlocks, a lot of big buildings have these Air lock systems in order to secure them in case of water collapsing any of the tunnels".

As soon as we passed through, we were immediately greeted by the sight of how well built this city truly was. Balconies and multiple floors draped in wood and find colors as if it was the 1920's. buildings and signs straight out of a New York Street advertising for all kinds of goods and services, and people dressed in fine clothing as if they were going to fancy events everywhere.

Mina then looked at Doris and said, "sooo is it safe to roam freely around the city?"

Doris nodded and said, "yes, it is, surprisingly there aren't any riots, no gangs, everyone gets along nicely, and since your 9292's Friend all shops have been notified to give you a 50% off on the fine dining as well as the many shops around Atlantis"

Deku then said, "how did you guys even get a city down here!"

Doris put her finger to her lips and said, "that's a Dark Legion secret my boy now then there are a loads of districts throughout Atlantis but the ones I recommend the most are, The Templus district where all of our artists, musicians and poets gather, The promenade which is our exquisite eateries that I will admit can rival Lunch Rush, oooh Madonna row is also a good place to visit if you love nature, there's Jester's park a huge amusement park that could put Disney to shame, the Hesperides galley shopping centers and our indoor beach resort Scylla"

Mineta finally got on the tram and with steam in his nose said, "what about a red-light district?"

We all gave Mineta a death glare as he said that.

Doris chuckled a little awkwardly and said, "unfortunately we do have one…Siren's alley though I will not recommend it for a person like you, we have police here for a reason…"

As we drove through the gilded hallways, we saw a huge behemoth with an old school diving helmet in full bulky black knight armor walk by us.

"What is that" Iida said in surprise

Doris smiled and said, "those are the police enforcer the Hecatoncheires, we consider them like family here in the city, and you'll see hundreds of them, all clones of the same person whose quirk allows him to be super buff and smart"

Yamomo furrowed her brow and said, "so slave labor?"

Doris shook her head and said, "nope, we pay them, they can live their own lives, even the original gets to live down here, we just ask him to help us clone some more when other die"

Soon we made it to the set of buildings that made up the New York Heights and was once again in awe of the entire place, beautiful marble work all surrounded in Art Deco with hundreds of balconies around the place. The ground floor though was designed to look like Manhattan Park, with pathways lined with trees branching off to the different buildings, fountains and pons around with benches and even gazeboes lined the place.

Doris looked at us with a smile and said, "feel free to explore once you settle in, your phones will work down here trust me"

I smiled and said, "what rooms are ours Doris?"

Doris then pointed to a map and said, "follow the Map to the Atlesian Suites rooms 12-31 are yours, if you should like to bunk together, please let one of the attendants know"

I smiled as I watched Doris ride the tram away and said, "okay everyone, what's the plan?"

Mina grinned and said, "lets head to Scylla and relax at the beach!"

We all agreed and headed to the Atlesian suites. It seems the others were hellbent on keeping me and Mina together because we were bunked together again. The room was beautiful though two layers with a huge plasma tv with bookcases, a huge bathroom, and a nice glass rounded view of the ocean with the neon signs outside advertising the many shops, bars, eateries and products that could be bought around Atlantis.

Mina held me from behind and said, "its beautiful Jango"

I smiled and held her close to me and said, "I'm glad you could come with me"

Mina chuckled and said, "well now that we've unpacked lets hit the beach!"

I nodded and waited at the center of the Atlesian suites for everyone to arrive.

While we waited Mina smiled and said, "you know…we could all live here at one point"

I blushed and said, "w-what do you mean?"

Mina smiled and sat on the rim of one of the fountains and said, "I mean when we graduate and become pros…we could all live here and raise our families…we'd wouldn't have to live in fear of villains trying to get to us, you said it yourself Atlantis is one of the most secure facility in the dark legion and there are hundreds of activities"

I nodded and looked up at the glass dome with the cold ocean above us. She was right we could live here in secret and only go out on missions…but what fun would that be. For an assassin this was the dream, but as a hero this would be a lonely life, and one where people wouldn't be able to know you care about them.

I chuckled and said, "maybe one day but for now let's focus on actually making it past our first year"

Kaminari soon joined us shouting, "woooooohooooo beach episode!"

I laughed and said, "this isn't an anime bro!"

Mina chuckled and soon we were approached by the other members of class 1A and together we walked through the gilded halls of Atlantis to Scylla.

One of the buildings we passed by was an old school diner complete with neon lights, checkered flooring, and even waitresses on roller skates delivering the food! Hell, if I didn't know any better I'd say old Thaddeus was stuck in the 1920's. the smell from the food though was just delightful, the subtle hint of cheeseburgers freshly being made, strawberry milkshakes, and grill cheese, it was just divine, like being at a diner.

Uraraka started to drool and said, "mmmhh food, well I know where I am going after the beach"

Deku smiled and said, "I'll join you, it seems like a blast!"

Uraraka blushed and said, "I would love for you to join me!"

I guess Izuchako was now canon…and I owed Mina $45 for the bet…damn it

At the entrance Doris met us and said, "I have reserved the entire beach for you guys, no need to worry about having people bug you"

I smiled and said, "thank you Doris"

Mineta looked at rather old shaped contraption and said, "Hey Doctor Doris, what is this?"

Doctor Doris looked over and said, "aahh that would be our mail shoot, we run it through a mix of carbon dioxide hoses and pneumatic motors that sends mail throughout all of Atlantis, sure we have roads and also the hydro pods but this method allows some guests to go out shopping, realize they have too much to carry back, find one of these, select the destination and then send it right along its way"

I raised my eyebrow and said, "can it send people?"

Doris nodded and said, "yep"

I then grabbed Mineta and shoved him inside. The moment I did a screen popped up asking where I'd like to send him. I selected out to sea and watched as Mineta was yeeted out into the ocean, only to have a Hecatoncheiry fish him out and bring him back to us.

We all shared a laugh as Mineta looked like he was about to pass out from the cold, we had no love for him, only hatred.

Doris then walked up to Toru and said, "I know it must be a pain to have an invisibility Quirk, trust me I know, so I developed these" before handing her a bottle of pills.

"what are these?" Toru said as she investigated the pills.

"Temporary Quirk Nullification pills, we use them here in the dark legion whenever we believe our Quirks will hinder us during research sort of like how some people with ADHD use Adderall to help them focus, if this case these pills last up to 5 hours, pop one in and have some water with it and the effects are instant"

Toru then hugged Doris and pulled out her water bottle and took the pills allowing for everyone to see her beauty. I'm honestly pretty sure I saw Oujiro blushing crazily when he saw her.

Doris then bowed and said, "I hope you enjoy your stay!" before getting on a nearby Vespa and leaving.

Yamomo gave us all a grin and said, "ladies let's get changed!" before rushing off to a nearby changing room with the other girls to get changed into their swimsuits.

I followed the other guys and got changed into a pair of black swim trunks.

Kirishima chuckled and said, "you know now that I look at you Jango, I just noticed you have a lot of lines on your body"

Iida came over and said, "and is that…make up on your chest?"

I looked at my body and realized what it was. Genetic makeup, some soldiers used to use it to cover up scars, and judging by the amount of it, I was covered in scars.

I sighed and said, "you are all very perceptive, yes this is genetic makeup, and the lines…well those are mostly from where the lasers grafted steel on to my bones"

The guys all looked in horror and Deku said, "so that's how your able to use All Might's quirk and 100%, normally anyone would die! But you managed to get around it by having steel grafted on to your body!"

I nodded and said, "stung like a bitch though!"

Kirishima said, "damn….the legion really did a number on you…I can't believe people haven't revolted against the legion if that's how they treat their soldiers"

I shook my head and said, "it was only one branch of the Legion, the perfect assassin project, it doesn't reflect the rest of the legion, in fact according to Doctor Minerva I'm one of the most advanced soldiers the Legion has to offer, an over 10.5-billion-dollar investment to be exact"

As soon as we were all changed we entered Scylla and were in total amazement. It was a nice white sand beach with turquoise colored water. The waves created by the waters were so clear and beautiful and the dome atop letting us glimpse at the ocean and its creatures were awesome but the best thing were the girls all in there swimsuits. Honestly I sort of understood why Mineta was a bit of a horndog sometimes because I couldn't look away from Mina in her lovely white Bikini, though I will admit seeing Asui in her one-piece 1920's style green and white striped swimsuit was comical.

I grinned and said, "hey guys what do you want to do first?"

Toru already had a surf board and was rushing out to the sea to go surfing. Bakugou walked over to a nearby hut and pulled out some umbrellas and towels and together with Kirishima set up a place for them to sunbathe. Meanwhile Iida was…well I have no idea what he was doing he was just jogging around the sand area.

I chuckled and noticed Mineta was trying to perv and stare so with a smile I said, "Hey Mineta, let's build a sand castle!"

Unaware of my true intentions Mineta nodded and started to build one while I dug a ditch behind him and yeeted him into it and buried him alive.

Yamomo gave me a thumbs up and Gabby said, "hey bakubabe can you rub sunscreen on my back?"

Bakugou blushed and said, "fine!"

Mina grinned and said, "Jango can you also rub some Sunscreen on me?"

I nodded my head and went over and helped rub sunscreen on her nice soft skin. I was a blushing mess till Bakugou said, "oi Jango, didn't you say you were good with a knife?"

I nodded my head and said, "yeah what about it?"

Bakugou grinned and said, "knife game!"

I raised my eyebrows and said, "hell yeah!"

Bakugou then shouted for Gabby, Todoroki, Deku and Kirishima to gather around as I rushed over and grabbed a table before pulling out a large Bowie knife and spread my hand.

I then took a deep breath and said, "Oh I have all my fingers, The knife goes chop! Chop! Chop! If I miss the spaces between My fingers will come off And if I hit my finger, Blood will soon come out, But all the same I play this game, Cause that's what it's all about!" while stabbing between my fingers.

Everyone looked Mesmerized before Todoroki added his hand in followed by Bakugou forcibly adding Gabby's hand in.

"B-bakugou no! what are you doing!" Gabby said a little panicked.

Bakugou smirked and said, "relax babe, Jango is good with a knife, or so he claims so he should know to be careful!"

I grinned and started to speed up a little bit much to Gabby's horror as I sung, "Oh!I have all my fingers The knife goes chop! Chop! Chop! If I miss the spaces in between My fingers will come off! And if I hit my fingers The blood will soon come out But all the same I play this game 'Cause that's what it's all about!"

I was still doing it when Deku added his hand on top freaked out as I went even faster singing, "Oh! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! I'm picking up the speed And if I hit my fingers Then my hand will start to bleed!" before stabbing it extremely close to everyone's pointer finger causing Gabby to scream.

We all laughed but Gabby looked at us and said, "you two, I will give you 10 seconds to run before I chase after and kill you both"

Both me and Bakugou raised our eyebrows before running off screaming as Gabby chased after us screaming how she was going to kill us. It was a futile effort….Gabby used her Quirk to yeet us both into the water.

"hahaha jokes on you Gabby I know how to swim!" I laughed while swimming closer and closer to the shore.

As soon as I made it to shore I looked at Tokoyami who was under 3 umbrellas and said, "Oi Edgar Allan Crow get some sunlight and enjoy the beach!"

Tokoyami pointed to dark shadow and said, "he's weak in the sunlight!"

I sighed and said, "come on My Chemical Crowmance you should have fun though and not worry about him"

Tokoyami sighed and said, "fine however…do not call me My Chemical Crowmance ever again"

I laughed and said, "I make no promises"

Iida chuckled and said, "hey Jango, its getting close to Lunch what are we going to do about that?"

With a smile I rushed over to the cooler I packed and opened it up to see the pig already for spit roasting.

"well get ready for some old fashion Greek Spit roasted Pork with lemon drizzle!" I said pulling out the pig.

Iida looked at me and said, "why do I have a feeling we'll be gaining a couple pounds this week"

I laughed and said, "that's the secret to how the Greeks remained so buff, we eat a lot and then after a week of eating we have an entire week of training!".

Kaminari grinned and said, "well lets get this pig all set up!"

I looked at Deku and Uraraka and said, "hey guys can you go to the snack bar and get us some supplies as well for our picnic?"

Deku nodded and held Uraraka's hand as they rushed over to get the supplies

I nodded and started to build a fire pit, while Deku and Uraraka ran over to one of the snack bars and got us chips and plates and everything we would need, hell they even brought over a proper picnic bench in order to enjoy all the food. While it was cooking Mina decided to try and flirt with me some more.

"you know Jango, with how good a cook you are, you'd make an amazing Housewife" Mina giggled.

I laughed and said, "I bet I could but could you imagine someone as active as me staying at home all day, cooking, cleaning, watching after a child and doing laundry? I'd go insane from boredom"

Mina nodded and said, "that may be true but I still think you'd look pretty hot in an apron saying, "welcome home darling I made dinner" don't you agree?"

I blushed heavily and said, "Mina why do you have to put such images in my mine"

Mina giggled as I stabbed a spear through the pig and said, "well I mean watching you of all people blush has got to be the cutest thing because you seem like this cold and hardened war vet but really you're a big softie"

I smiled and said, "guilty as charged" before putting the pig on the spits and roasting it.

While I was roasting the pig I dug up Mineta and decided to let him go free for a bit at least to wash up and then get something to eat, while Sato and Bakugou cut up some potatoes to roast to go nicely with the pork.

I smiled and drizzled some lemon on the pig and took a deep breath in as the smell was beyond divine.

Looking at everyone I shouted, "Pigs done!" and started to cut pieces off for everyone.

Once we were finished Iida looked at me and said, "hey Jango, how fast are you in the water?"

I furrowed my brow and said, "excuse me?"

"well, it's just you seem to have excellent reaction time on land but what about in water?" Iida asked.

I chuckled taking a sip of dr. pepper and said, "well during my training in the Legion I was pitted against water type or ocean animal-based quirk users and was trained to kill them in their element so I'd say fairly decent"

Iida smirked and said, "how about a swim race to see who is the best!"

I laughed and said, "sure thing Iida, in fact lets get the entire class involved!"

Bakugou gave me a death glare and said, "finally we get to settle who's the best between me you and Deku!"

Todoroki looked at me and said, "are quirks allowed?"

I nodded my head and said, "so long as you don't damage the beach area, we're good"

Kaminari laughed and said, "yeah I think that would be bad if someone, Bakugou, broke the glass dome keeping the water out"

Bakugou growled and said, "what did you say you Pikachu wannabe!"

Kaminari chuckled and said "nothing"

Bakugou then walked up to Deku and said, "I'm gonna annihilate you, Deku!"

He then turned to me and Todoroki and said, "you two as well ya Icy Hot and edge lord bastards!"

We all shared a laugh and got ready. There would be 4 swimmers each round, although the third round will be 5 people, including myself. The girls opted to be the judges for this swim competition. This would be the first time since my training as a legionnaire that I'll be diving into water for something other than relaxation. The goal was simple, first one to touch the wall wins. The first round Had Bakugou going up against Kaminari, Tokoyami, Mineta and Koji.

Yamomo pulled out a whistle and said, "All Right, now, everyone, on your marks! Get set" before blowing her whistle.

Immediately Bakugou used his Quirk to blast himself to the wall without even touching the water.

With an evil laugh Bakugou shouted, "How was that, you damn sidekicks!"

Sero growled and shouted, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!"

Kirishima yelled, "you didn't even touch the water!"

Bakugou shot back and said, "it's called freestyle swimming!"

The next race had Todoroki going up against Sero Kirishima, Sato and Aoyama. It was a valiant effort but Todoroki won the race with ease.

Now it was the third round, time to show why I was the best, then again I was going up against Midoriya and Iida so it wouldn't be an easy swim…

Yamomo shouted, "Last group, on your marks! Get set!" then she blew her whistle.

With a leap I sped into the water out swimming Shoji and Oujiro with ease, the water may not have been my home but it was at least a realm I knew well, and I was slowly catching up to Midoriya and Iida. I then witnessed a sign of god that caught me off-guard. Fucking Tenya RUNNING ON WATER! THE MAN WAS PULLING A JESUS. I sadly lost but at least I put up one hell of a fight for first place.

Everyone was cheering as Midoriya made it back to the main beach area.

Iida laughed as we swam in and said, "you really do know how to surprise us Jango, first during the combat training then when we found out who you really are, and now your swimming, I'm gonna be honest I'm glad you're on our side"

I smiled and said, "for now anyways honestly though watching you run on water was the funniest thing I have ever seen so good job you human automobile"

Iida took off his swim goggles and said, "if only my brother could see that, he'd also be laughing"

Everyone started to look at me with horrified looks, hell even Iida.

"what…what's wrong?" I asked curiously.

Kirishima looked at me and said, "Jango….you never told us the extent of what the Legion did to you"

I looked down and realized every single burn, bruise, scar and laser imprint was now visible for everyone to see.

I sighed and said, "these marks…these wounds all were either self-inflicted or done by the Legion….there was never a day that I didn't end up on the verge of death with more wounds, the legion itself was mortified when they found out about Project Perfect Assassin, or at least that's what I have been told, but I was the only one to ever receive these kind of scars"

Todoroki looked at me and said, "what do you mean self-inflicted"

I sighed and said, "there were some days I felt depressed and well…tried to burn myself alive or use my own quirk to kill myself, but it always failed, and ended with me getting beaten up by Grim Strider…"

Gabby looked at me and said, "and the 9292…is that…"

I nodded my head and said, "a branding that was given to me on the day I was kidnapped by the dark legion, a badge to show I belonged to them"

It was finally time for the last race but as soon as they made it into the water, they all started to cramp up, I guess the food finally got to them.

Kirishima groaned and said, "damn it I want to figure out who would win!"

I laughed and said, "well once their cramps are gone maybe we can do it then"

Bakugou growled and said, "you know what screw this, I made it farther than anyone before I cramped up so I win!"

I had a feeling the rest of the day was bound to be quite amazing.
