Chapter 31 season 3 the Beach episode we were cheated out of Part 3

I chuckled and looked at the time and said, "damn it's already 3 in the afternoon…you guys wanna head out and explore the other districts within Atlantis?"

Mina smirked and said, "hell yeah!"

I smirked and said, "okay well then let's all relax and explore and meet up back at the Atlesian suites at around say 5:30 to discuss what we'll do about dinner?"

We all gave Thumbs up and I said, "while you guys go exploring the safer districts though there's something I want to deal with at the War room district…only Legionnaires are allowed there"

I then turned to Uraraka and said, "I doubt you'll be able to buy any of the expensive things here so" I then pull out my wallet and smugly handed her $300.

"try not to spend it all in one place." I chuckled.

Uraraka looked at the money as if I had given her the holy grail and said, "I could buy so many things with this!" before running off with the other girls to go on a shopping trip.

A couple Hecatoncheires then walked up and one of them approached me and said, "you go, we'll cleanup"

I nodded and said, "I thank you for your help" and headed to the war room district where a couple Legionnaires were standing guard in front of the glass pipping that lead into the district.

One of them approached me and said, "identification card?"

I pulled down my shirt to show off the burned 9292 in my chest and said, "this I.D enough?"

The guard nodded and said, "so who are you looking for 9292?"

"Doctor Doris, I'm looking for upgrades to Tartarus's assassin mode as well as its autonomous mode" I chuckled.

The guard nodded and said, "she's located in the Ryu zone, can't miss her, just follow the path into the war room district, and then make a right and you'll be on your way there, and once again we are honored to have you here" before letting me pass.

As I walked through the glass corridor I chuckled as I thought about all the Shenanigans everyone was getting into while they were exploring. Hell, I'm pretty sure Mina was going crazy with Toru at Jester's park and Sato was probably trying out all kinds of foods at The Promenade. Meanwhile Mineta is probably trying to get into Siren's Alley….I hope someone mugs his ass.

Finally, I made it to the Ryu Zone to see Doris working on a new rifle.

"ahh 9292, welcome, the Guards at the front told me what you are looking for and I will admit…I have been expecting you to finally come here and ask for upgrades, Tartarus is good, but combine it with the power of its Sister Persephone, and you have yourself a deadly combo!"

I chuckled and said, "I'm guessing you have this, Persephone ready for testing?"

Doris grinned and said, "oh 9292, Persephone has always been ready, she's a bit of a brute so be careful, follow me"

Doris then led me to an elevator which led us deep below the earth to a huge facility where huge drones were facing off against a black drone with bulky shoulders, a samurai styled helmet, sturdy armored feet, huge back pods and brutish fists.

Doris grinned and said, "9292 say hello to The Marauder brute class Armor: Persephone"

I was in awe, it was way more armored than Tartarus, and way heavier as well, with heavier weapons and a bulkier frame I understood why they gave Tartarus an Autonomous mode now, just so it could defend Persephone while it was active.

Doris smirked and said, "6 inches of reinforced plating mixed in with hydraulic and Pneumatic motors gives this behemoth the deadliest capabilities of any dark legion armor! And add in the range of heavy ordinance weapons and you got yourself a deadly weapon"

I whistled and said, "Doris, is it okay if"

Doris cut me off and said, "yes" before looking at Persephone and saying, "open up back"

Persephone then turned around and kneeled allowing the entire back unit to flip up. As I got in I could feel the raw power that coursed through this armor, the pure heavy ordinance but….I couldn't use this, not as a hero. If I was a warrior I could but in my heart I couldn't bring myself to use it.

Before the panel could close I got out and said, "Doris, keep this on standby, update Athena to allow me to customize the parts that need customizing but I want it to stay here at Atlantis"

Doris looked at me and said, "but this could help you as a hero?"

I shook my head and said, "if I wanted to be a dictator I would use this armor, but as long as I am a hero, this creation will remain here…thank you for showing that it is ready though, all I really need is upgrades for Tartarus, Athena should have sent over the case for it"

Doris smiled and said, "oh I did in fact receive Tartarus much to the anger of Hephaestus and Ares, however I will add in the upgrades necessary and get Tartarus all up to your standards and well unlike Minerva I am not gonna force you to use Persephone, so go on 9292 go and enjoy yourself and know that Persephone will be here, ready for deployment whenever you need it"

I nodded my head and looked at the behemoth. I can understand where Doris was coming from, Dark Legion was all about turning ordinary soldiers into heroes…so tech like this was to be expected. With the fact that the League of Villains has those Nomus…I think Persephone will be perfect against those, but one day it will no longer be necessary.

As I walked through the halls of Atlantis I smiled at the sight of Deku and Uraraka sharing a milkshake at a diner. I had to admit this place was seriously big, the shops were well stocked and hand a bunch of snacks and stuff I couldn't find topside and tasted a lot better, heck I bought a full suitcase of nothing but snacks to bring back to the surface to stock my fridge and pantry up to its gills.

That Night Gabby held to her promise and had the guys kidnap me to make me look amazing.

Sero chuckled and said, "okay Gabby has entrusted you to us Jango, don't worry we'll make you look amazing for your date with Mina"

I smirked and said, "so where did you guys set us up at?"

Deku smiled and said, "oh we got you reservations at the Neptune's Odyssey, I know from my research that Mina just loves steak so I talked to Doris and got you guys reservations for the place"

I chuckled and said, "thanks Deku!"

Bakugou then walked in and said, "oi nerds, the suits here!"

I looked at it and was honestly impressed with it, the suit was a nice black with silver accents three-piece suit with a signature Dark Legion pin on its lapel and a silver Handkerchief.

I whistled and said, "oh damn that looks nice!"

They then rushed me to the bathroom and started to style my hair into an elegant combover…while also making sure to cover up the scars on my neck and face with makeup. Soon I was all ready to go and was going to get a hand gun when Shoji slapped my hand away.

"heyyyy what was that for!" I growled

Shoji looked at me and said, "you don't bring handguns on a date you dumbass"

I chuckled and said, "fine" and walked outside where Mina was waiting for me.

It was like staring at an angel. Her normally frizzy hair was all straightened out and went down to her neck. She was dressed in a long Chinese inspired dress that matched up with my three-piece suit and a purse to accompany the look.

I blushed as I walked up to her and said, "y-you look amazing!"

Mina Blushed and said, "thank you Jango, shall we go?"

I nodded my head and the two of us went on our date.

Mina and I soon arrived at the elevator going up to the Neptune's Odyssey and were impressed. The entire elevator was made of glass and was facing the ocean so we could see the statue of Poseidon in the center as well as the other districts all around Atlantis. As we rose we saw two Hecatoncheires with plasma torches repairing a building. I guess even with the bacteria, someone has to repair the buildings.

Mina looked outside in amazement as a huge blue whale passed by and said, "this is way better than the school pool!"

I chuckled and pulled out my phone and said, "let's take a picture to remember this moment"

Mina nodded and got close to me kissing me on the cheek as I took the selfie of us.

When the doors opened we were in complete shock at the place, it was three layers of hard wood floors, with us being on the middle layer, looking over the side of the cliff overlooking the ocean. The bottom floor had a huge bar with a glass flooring with an aquarium in it which was rather ironic considering we were practically surrounded by an aquarium. Hanging from the top of the building was a huge chandelier made of silver and elegantly shining light on everyone.

As soon as we exited we were greeted by a man in a well-tailored white tuxedo.

"ahh you must be 9292, and Mina Ashido, Doctor Doris told us you would be having a dinner date here at the Neptune's Odyssey, my name is Genium and I will be your waiter, please follow me" the man said in a French accent.

Following him past the many tables I could see other high-ranking Legionnaires and surprisingly some members of governments all sitting around other tables eating lavishly. I guess with an economy like this, the rich are still the rich, but the poor are nonexistent here. As we followed Genium I bumped into a rather well decorated soldier wearing a suit of armor almost similar to Tartarus, hell it even had the twin Kukri knives on either shoulder, the man's sword though was different, his katana was bigger and the sheathe was more shotgun then katana sheathe. The man caught me off guard, he looked almost like me, except instead of my piercing blue eyes, he had almost gemstone green eyes and the fact that he was a lot taller than me.

"oi watch it my friend I nearly ran you over" the man chuckled.

"sorry friend…I should have watched where I was going" I muttered.

The guy gave a grin and said, "you must be the assassin hero, Deimos Bladesman, we legionnaires are quite impressed with you"

I chuckled and said, "it's an honor to represent the Legion…even if they put me through hell"

The man chuckled and said, "trust me they put us all through hell, maybe not the same hell they put you through but hey its almost there, by the way, I'm Jango, Jango De Lani"

I laughed and said, "what a coincidence! My name is Jango as well! I am Jango Arkino!"

Jango laughed and said, "well, I'll see you around my friend, I have to go get the beers for me and my squad!"

I nodded and rushed to catch up to Genium.

"Hey Genium, who is that man?" I asked.

"oh, that was Jango De Lani, one of the newer members to the Momento Mori Battalion, an elite group of black ops assassins that worked for Doctor Miandi, Doctor Minerva's sister, they are by far the deadliest group in the legion" Genium said.

The scary thing is…I was intimidated, not afraid, just intimidated. I had a feeling our paths would cross again and when they did, I pray he isn't going against me.

Genium led us over to a private room with a candle lit table for two with a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne and a beautiful view all to ourselves.

Genium smiled and said, "I'll let you two lovebirds get situated and I'll be right back"

I nodded and pulled out the seat for Mina and chuckled as she looked at the Menu, "Holy shit Jango can we afford this!"

I nodded and said, "not only did Todoroki give me Endeavor's credit card, I have money as well from all the assassin contracts I've taken so far"

Mina's eyes sparkled and said, "that means we can eat anything we want!"

I nodded my head and took a look at the menu, the Lobster and Rib-eye sounded delicious I might as well get that. I looked up to see Mina just enthralled with the view, though I could tell she was nervous.

Smiling I said, "Mina, I know your probably nervous about our date but, I promise you, you're doing fine babe you look stunning"

Mina blushed and said, "a-are you sure?"

I leaned over and held her hand, "I am sure dear you look stunning"

Mina giggled and said, "already on to pet names, boy you are a speedy dater, but I like that once someone pushes you Jango you don't hold back…even if sometimes you can be quite the killjoy sometimes you can be quite fun"

I smiled and said, "I guess your rubbing off on me"

Mina started to laugh uncontrollably at that remark and I couldn't help but laugh myself.

I smiled and said, "you know, if you told me when I was in the Legion that I would end up dating someone as perfect as you, well I might have called you crazy and that blasted your head clean off, but now thinking about it, and even getting to know you…I must admit we really do make a great pair"

Mina giggled and said, "well, that's just me, I am quite perfect"

I chuckled and opened the nonalcoholic champagne and poured her some, "so do you know what your gonna eat?"

Mina looked over the Menu and said, "I have to admit this place is well out of my budget and way fancier than I anticipated but I will admit the crab Rangoon sounds delicious maybe as an appetizer, however I think for the main course I might just get some fettucine alfredo with scallops and shrimp in it with a side of roasted asparagus, what about you?"

I chuckled and said, "I was going to go for the rib-eye and lobster with a side of Quinoa"

Mina looked shocked and said, "woah, nothing Greek! I think we're making progress!"

I laughed and said, "maybe but honestly that sounds like the best thing for tonight"

Mina nodded and said, "so, what did you find in the war room"

I looked out at the ocean as a pod of whales went past us and said, "a war machine that could pretty much make me feared…"

Mina scrunched her face up and said, "what do you mean?"

"Doctor Doris called it Persephone and judging by the armaments and the way she talked about it…I am 90% sure it could easily kill All Might" I said.

Mina looked at me a little worried and said, "are you going to use that in place of your normal hero suit?"

I shook my head and said, "no, it would be used in tandem with Tartarus, however it just terrifies me, the idea of using something so heavily armed"

Mina nodded and took a sip of the champagne and said, "well… I think you should use it"

I looked at her a little worried.

Mina chuckled and said, "let me explain, think of it this way, you know what it is capable of, and the devastating fire power it wields, use that in moderation but definitely use it on bigger foes like those Nomu…I think that Persephone would be perfect for it"

I smiled and said, "I guess your right"

Genium then returned and took our orders and left us again to enjoy our drinks and chat about what we had planned for the summer if we had more time to ourselves, or about how her parents would react to finding out we were now a couple, according to Mina they would flip their lids. The rest of the dinner went magically.

Once Mina and I had paid for the bill we decided to walk around and take in the sights and do some shopping, all thanks to Endeavor's credit card which Todoroki had given me. Taking a tram to The Hesperides galley we realized, Endeavor will murder us if he realizes where we are. Mainly because the moment we entered Hesperides galley we walked to a local music shop just to browse the vinyl records and saw that the cheapest one was $85, though we could possibly buy everything here with it I doubt Endeavor would appreciate it so we decided to just skip the music store for now and explore.

Mina smiled and said, "god that Fettucine was just to die for!"

I smiled and said, "yeah and that rib-eye was so good, hell I doubt I could come close to making anything that perfect!"

Mina then started to drool and said, "god and that Chocolate espresso Chiffon cake! God I wish I saved a slice of it to bring home, that would have been delightful!"

I smiled and pulled out my phone and showed the pictures I had taken there, "at least we have all the memories as well"

"Ohh Jango, they have a clothes store! Can we go, pleeeease!" Mina said with stars in her eyes while pointing at a store called the Arcadian Treasure chest.

I gave her a kiss on the lips and said, "anything for my Alien Queen"

Mina blushed and said, "oh woah Jango, when did you become Mr. Flirt?"

I chuckled and said, "over time I guess"

Mina then dragged me inside and I knew, Endeavor was going to kill us if he found out. It was wall to wall with high end, and high-quality jewelry ranging from simple necklaces, to elaborately carved gemstone tiaras and even a mask made of gold.

Mina giggled holding up the mask and saying, "I think you would look rather dashing in this"

The Jeweler then walked up to us and said, "can I help you?"

I nodded and said, "can you help us find something nice for my Girlfriend?"

The Jeweler nodded and said, "we have hundreds of well-made high-quality pieces, though I would recommend going with the necklaces for they are our best sellers"

We both followed the Jeweler as he showed us each piece and Mina's eyes sparkled at each one. I was extremely tempted to buy all of them just for Mina….mainly because she looked like she was enjoying herself and also because well…we had Endeavor's credit card thanks to Todoroki so….yeah.

Mina then pointed to a necklace on a mannequin that almost looked way to elegant to be on display. The Necklace was loaded with diamonds around it, almost like two necklaces joined at the center by two snowflakes made from what looked to be Jades and diamonds. I was pretty sure, if Mina wore this, it would get stolen almost instantly.

"what's that?" Mina said in awe.

The Jeweler smiled and said, "ahh the young lady does indeed have an eye for high quality, this piece is a rare necklace created by Chinese master craftsman Wallace Chan, he calls it "A heritage in Bloom" this piece is considered to be his Mangum Opus with 72 white mutton fat jades, 114 icy green jadeites, 600 pink diamonds, and 19 more divine colorless diamonds. The piece has a total of 383.4 carats in precious stones and is by far our most expensive piece we have in store"

I raised an eyebrow and said, "how much are we talking?"

The Jeweler said, "its only $200 million, as it is our rarest piece"

I chuckled and said, "I'll take it"

This made the Jeweler almost do a backflip in surprise, "p-pardon sir, did you say you'll buy it!"

I nodded my head and said, "yes, anything for my Alien Queen"

Mina looked at me starstruck and said, "Jango Arkino you are amazing!"

I smirked and said, "let's see how it looks on you"

I took the necklace and gently put it around her neck and was amazed, the piece looked perfect on Mina, like it just belonged on her.

Blushing I said, "you look stunning"

Mina grinned and said, "t-thanks' Jango now let's pay for this"

I nodded and went over and paid for the necklace.

Meanwhile:

Endeavor: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO CANCEL A CREDIT CARD I JUST GOT A BILL FOR A $200 MILLION NECKLACE AND IT IS VIOLATING MY CREDIT SCORE!

BURNIN: HAHA MAYBE TRY TO CALL THE BANK AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY!

ENDEAVOR: I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHICH BANK THE CARD BELONGED TOO

Endeavor: SHOOOTOOOOOOO

Back to our regularly scheduled shenanigans

As we roamed the streets Mina's eyes sparkled again as she spotted a dance club and dragged me into there. However, to her surprise it wasn't a club like she thought it was, it was more of like a ballroom with fancy music and people dancing the waltz. I smiled and held Mina's hand as we went down to join the others and dance.

Mina blushed and said, "Jango, I didn't know you knew how to dance!"

I chuckled and said, "of course I do, as an assassin I had to learn how to dance to fit in to society"

We spent a magical evening doing nothing but just dancing as people smiled and by the end of the night Mina and I had truly fallen in love. The week went by way to fast after that and soon it was time for us to leave.

As we were driving back Iida shouted, "we forgot Mineta!"

I rolled my eyes and said, "did we really?"

Iida looked at me and said, "yes we did, he's an integral part of the class!"

I squinted my eyes at him and said, "is he though?"

Iida raised his eyebrows and said, "yes he is!"

I gave him a look and said, "be honest with me, is he really?"

Iida sighed and said, "yeah good point it's Mineta…"

I chuckled and said, "I'll call Atlantis and tell them to rocket shoot him home"
