Justice Across Space and Time

Chapter 53

This will be more of the proper start to the Depowered Arc. Where Jotaro will be going back to basics as it were to show what he can do. As well as teaching something special to Itsuka eventually. Not Izuku though. He's got his own new set of challenges and problems. So on with the show.

(No POV)

The day after awakening Jotaro was inundated by a large number of visitors. With Saphentite and Itsuka as near constant companions. Some of the first to visit were his allies and students from the Mirko Agency. "Man. Didn't think anything could really hurt you And yet here we are….." Markus said with a shake of his head.

Gomtai and Hanabi though were just glad he was alright. With Hanabi even bringing some sweets as a get-well gift. "We've never really thought about what that power drain guy could do. Considering we just assumed he was more like those with similar quirks." Gomtai mentioned while apologizing to Jotaro.

Mirko though seemed to be beating herself up in her mind. "Hey! Teach. I'm okay. I'll live." Jotaro eventually was able to say to her. It didn't lift her spirits or get her out of her funk, so Jotaro suspected he'll have to be more hands on later.

The next set who visited and had a slew of questions were those from the Ryukyu Agency. With all of the students curious to see his eyes. "Oooohhh. Your eyes look like gold! Its different from Ryukyu's that are a bit paler." Nejire noted after grabbing Jotaro head and taking a close look.

Ryukyu herself bowed to Jotaro before apologizing. "If Mirko and I were just a bit faster. Itsuka and Saphentite may not have been harmed. And you may not have gone after who hurt them." Jotaro stops her self-depreciation by bringing up a different point.

"None of us saw this coming. Even me and my enhanced senses. I flew off the handle and got hurt by my own actions. Not yours. Besides, I probably wouldn't be alive if you and Rumi hadn't kept me going." Jotaro says with a smile.

She sees the look in his eye and can tell he is sincere in those thoughts. She doesn't cry but she does sniffle a bit before thanking him. Ochaco and Tsuyu though were curious about a few other details. "So like you can see like a normal person now? And you can tell what we all look like?" Ochaco questions first.

Jotaro confirms it to be the case before saying his sight will fade as he reabsorbs ambient energy. "It'll just take time. Maybe a couple of weeks." Tsuyu then asks if he still intends to stay in the hero course. "It's not like you have your strength or invulnerability anymore."

"And why should that stop him? It didn't stop me after all." Itsuka says as she walked into the hospital room. She smiled at Jotaro who returned before saying 'hi' to her and Saphentite. "It will hurt a bit though. But that isn't too unusual either." Jotaro jokes while reclining in his bed.

Ochaco then asks, "do you know what the ones who attacked you were after?" Jotaro hums before saying he wasn't sure. "I think they were just taking advantage of the fact I was nearby, and they had a few members who could take me down. Like that Twice guy and the energy drainer."

He also notes that they had interesting tech that could handle and contain his energy. "I think they may have been looking to eliminate a dangerous element like me. As you've all noted, I'm on par with All Might or that Judgement person. And they no longer have AFO. So, they are missing a serious amount of power."

"Which is why they tried to incite your anger and get you alone before draining your power and trying to kill you." Ryukyu surmises while cupping her chin. She also questions how the League and Forgotten might have known about the villains they were after. "Did they just happen to be nearby? Or did they plan for all of this?"

Ryukyu's minor monologuing gets the students curious as well. But before any thoughts could go far, a stomach rumble distracts everyone. "Uh…. Sorry. Didn't realize I was that hungry." Jotaro says with a chuckle.

Since he was feeling better, Jotaro chose to join the others in the hospital cafeteria. Not that the food was much better, but it did feel good to move around again. When he returned to his room, Jotaro saw that there was a new group of visitors waiting for him.

Standing outside were those from the Nighteye Agency. "Jotaro! Hey should you be up?!" Izuku exclaims before jogging over while carrying a fruit basket. His friend just laughs before saying he was doing better. "Though it will take some getting used to. Being depowered and all."

"Seriously?! Wait! I just realized! You don't have your glasses on!" Mirio says with his blue eyes wide. Jotaro smiles at his upperclassman before commenting on how unusual his face looks. Melissa though is curious about what caused this.

As Jotaro was about to explain, his doctor and Recovery Girl find in and tell him off for leaving his room. "You lost enough blood that we needed half a dozen transfusions! So go back in and rest!" the older woman berates while smacking his knees.

The large teen grunts in pain before agreeing. Once he's back in his bed, the discussion with the Nighteye team could begin. "So. You were ambushed by the Forgotten and the LOV? Seems a bit too coincidental. Let alone what Shield-san here theorized the metals could be used for." Nighteye says while scratching his chin.

All eyes shifted to Melissa, who blushed before bringing up her main theory on the alloys. "I don't know where they could have gotten them, but I noticed something while testing a few of the samples we confiscated. Quite a few had very good conductivity and stable transference potential. It could be that they were looking to make items to power other weapons and tools similar to the ones used against you."

"Are you sure that isn't just a coincidence Melissa-chan? That couldn't have been the only thing the metals you recovered were good for." Tsuyu says with a tilt of her head. She notes that the ones they had initially recovered were denser and felt like they'd be better for making armor.

Izuku speaks up next on the fact that each metal had more buyers for certain regions. "But then….. how would the League and Forgotten get their hands on the metals. Unless they were raiding storehouses and the like to make support items to fight back. But that wouldn't make sense for most of the Forgotten given their true meta powers…."

Izuku starts on a mumble spree that makes everyone is earshot sweat drop. He is eventually snapped out of it by Mirio, who brings thoughts back around to wishing Jotaro well. "And that you'll be able to recover while you're away from UA."

"What makes you think I'm not going to keep doing what I can? Even without my powers." Jotaro says with a smirk towards his senior. He tells the top student at UA that he wouldn't let this slow him down or sideline him. "I've got plenty of other skills and capabilities. You just watch me." Jotaro says with a fire burning in his eyes.

One that make Mirio tremble as he gives his junior a thumbs up and says, "man that is cool to see! That look in your eyes! It's just brimming with POWER!" As he is shouting that last part though, Recovery Girl goes over and smacks him in the back of the head. Reminding him that he is in a hospital.

After having a few laughs at Mirio's expense, he notes that they have some different issues. "We ran into a different true meta villain up in Hokkaido. One who makes my power look weak and redundant." Mirio describes the villain Revenant and the variety of powers he had.

"That's kind of scary. He's like a ghost. That's probably where the name came from. How do you fight someone like that? I'm a little worried about the fact he can make others invisible or intangible. There aren't any quirks like that." The students each say before wondering if this person was a new member of the Forgotten.

Nejire claps her hands though to stop all the negative thoughts. She starts asking a few other questions to all those gathered. At least until Saphentite's spell muzzles her again. After an hour or so, the nurses tell them that visiting hours are over. So they each head back to their rooms or hotels to rest. With Izuku leaving the basket his group brought.

Once outside though he stops both Melissa and Ochaco. "Kibou? What's wrong Izuku?" both girls ask. Only to be surprised when the green haired teen pulled them both close for a hug. He was blushing of course, but it didn't compare to Ochaco's. Melissa was slightly more composed.

"What's gotten into you!?" Ochaco said with a squeal. Izuku says that it was nothing, but Melissa has an idea. "You're a little scared, aren't you? After what happened to me, Itsuka, and especially what happened to Saphentite and Jotaro. Am I right?" Melissa says while rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah. You were buried alive Melissa. And I saw some images of what Saphentite was like after the villains attacked her. And I…. I saw you Ochaco. I don't…" Izuku says while holding both of them tight. Ochaco's blush eases and she can see what was going through her boyfriend's mind.

And she helps to snap him out of it by saying, "I thought it as well. When Jotaro was hurt, I actually imagined you being in his place. Or even Melissa. It's easy for us to get caught up in those thoughts, but it is what we've been training for. We're looking to be the next heroes of Japan. Or the world. It may be more than we expected but we chose this. And we rush into danger to save others. No matter what."

Izuku sniffles a bit before finally releasing his hold on his girlfriends. Only to realize that he had done this in front of the hospital. Where plenty of people are watching. All three blush before sprinting off to the bus stop to get back to their hotels.

On the bus though, it is Ochaco who suggests that they take a day for themselves. "I think…. We could all use it." Izuku isn't sure, but it is Nighteye who agrees with her. "I need to confer with Ryukyu and Mirko tomorrow. But you can take the day off Kibou. Same for you Tech Might. Enjoy a bit of what Hiroshima has to offer."

Izuku looks to his current mentor and smiles. Thanking him before checking his phone to find some ideas for what he and his girlfriends could do. Finding a few restaurants and sites to check out while they were in town.

The next day, Izuku, Melissa, and Ochaco had changed into casual clothes to explore the city. Starting with the Floating Torii of Itsukushima Shrine. Then exploring around the town, itself. While also getting hounded slightly due to Izuku's fame as a true meta, his and Melissa's actions in the cruise ship rescue, and some noting their connections with major pro heroes.

After finally slipping away, the trio went to enjoy a mean of okonomiyaki at one of the highest recommended places in town. "Oh wow! I never would have thought to use cabbage with what I usually associate breakfast foods with!" Melissa exclaimed with puffed up cheeks.

Her partners chuckle at her enthusiasm while also enjoying their meals. With Ochaco suggesting a different shop for after lunch. That being getting sweet dango skewers at a stand after taking a tram to Hijiyama park. "Beautiful" is what each of the teens thinks while walking through and out over the city and Seto Inland Sea views in the park.

"I've got somewhere else I want to visit next." Melissa says before dragging her significant others out of the park. The first place is Hiroshima castle. The American girl being interested in the ancient history of the castle. While Izuku was enjoying a different side.

"Wow. I didn't know Godzillo did a movie next to the castle." Ochaco said while looking at the section dedicated to said movie. Izuku was in fanboy mode as he was looking over it as well as some dedications to other famous Hiroshima heroes. Mirko included.

The last place they visited though was somewhere that surprised Ochaco and Izuku. "I know you two might have been trying to avoid places like this for my sake. And I do appreciate it. But I feel like I need to see this. For good or ill."

They were currently standing outside of the ruins of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and The Atomic Bomb Dome. Both sites had been badly damaged, not by foreign attacks, but by those who felt they should destroy or remove aspects of their nation's past that were insults or failures.

"So much of the US had also been obsessed with destroying the past. Mostly because we were so young and made a lot of mistakes that were born from where some came from. But destroying or defacing things won't change them. And rejecting the past doesn't make things better. It just generates more hate." Melissa says while setting down some flowers she had bought on the way to their destination.

She apologizes to her friends about the somber end to the day, but it is Ochaco who takes her hand first to reassure her. "I think I understand. And I get why you felt the need to do this. Besides. This is a good reminder for us as well. That sometimes what we have to protect as heroes is more than just lives. We have to protect the places that are important to wherever we end up as heroes."

Ochaco blushes while looking up at the blonde inventor. Who has a few tears in her eyes before thanking Ochaco. In a way that surprises the girl. She leans down and kisses her full on he lips before wrapping her in a hug.

Izuku is obviously blushing at seeing this but coughs past it and mentions, "uh…. Just like my little moment last night, you might want to remember that we are in public." Both girls blush as they separate and you can practically see the steam flowing from their ears.

Izuku laughs a bit before suggesting they get some dinner. On the way though, Izuku asks if the day had been enjoyable for both of the girls. "Actually, I was going to ask that as well Izuku. This is kind of new to me." Ochaco says with a renewed blush.

Melissa chuckles at her boyfriend and girlfriend before saying it was all fun. "We shouldn't overthink things and just enjoy being together. Not everything has to be a special event or occasion. Just spending time is enough." Her partners agree as they return to their hotel.

While they had been enjoying the day and the pros were filing and giving their reports to the commission, Jotaro was getting a feel for the state he was in now. "It might take a bit of adjusting. But it will be nice to move around without having to tiptoe."

"Yeah well, try to be somewhat careful. Okay? It's scary enough that someone even put you in here. I don't want to think…. That you…." Itsuka started while visiting Jotaro's room. But her boyfriend knew what she was thinking and pulled her into a hug to try and put her at ease. "I'm still here. And I'm not going anywhere."

It wasn't much, but it did help to put Itsuka's mind at ease. If only for a moment. After she left though, Jotaro had someone else to talk with. That being Saphentite who arrived soon after. "Hey. You doing, okay?" Jotaro asked his longtime partner.

"Pretty sure that is what I should be asking that. But I am okay now. Genie healing after all… John….. We….. We should probably tell Itsuka. Maybe a few others. About us, where we're really from. You know?" Saphentite said with a complicated look on her face.

One that Jotaro could see and better comprehend. "Yeah….. you're right. Soon but…. not now. Not while I'm like this and have something else to show her. Besides, she might start getting suspicious after we start training."

The genie girl could tell he was slightly procrastinating and avoiding the issue. But she also knew he meant well at his core. That the time wasn't quite right while he was depowered and unable to show them more. Even her genie powers wouldn't be enough to explain everything.

"Okay. But do you really think she can learn….. that? Or that she should? It can be intoxicating after all." Saphentite said with a sigh. Jotaro has a stern look on her face and nods to show he agrees.

"If things get out of hand, I'll step in Sahiraah. Besides, if she can't use it we'll focus on the martial arts. And if she can it'll give her a way to protect herself, you, me, and many others." His focused look and the determination burning in his eyes is enough to tell Saphentite that Jotaro was sure about the matter. So she left it at that.

Before she left though, she checked around to make sure no one was looking. And then wrapped him in a hug before kissing him. "I'd say don't scare me like that again, but I'm pretty sure you were more scared at the time." Saphentite says before separating.

With the evening winding down, all of those in the hospital tried to get out of said place. Despite the push back from Recovery Girl, she couldn't deny that they were all at least in better shape than she expected. "Anwar-san's recovery aside, I'm still surprised you can move as well now."

"They drained a lot of power so I'm significantly weaker. But my body and systems seem to know when to prioritize. The residual gamma energy is probably being focused on healing. It just couldn't initially due to the danger at the time and the severe power drain. Like a car running on empty."

Jotaro's explanation makes sense to the old doctor, but she is still uneasy about letting him go. However, given he was at least standing, and he could block a strike from her cane, Chiyo decided to let him leave with Itsuka and Saphentite.

The girls had to separate from him to go to their hotel, but they both asked that he be careful on the way to Mirko's agency. "I'll be fine. Don't worry so much." Jotaro says with a smile. It doesn't put them at ease, and Saphentite uses a bit of her magic to keep an eye on him.

Only for both of them to feel like fools as nothing happens the entire walk back. Once he returns to the agency, he sees that the lights are still on. Especially those in the gym section. Even without his super senses, he has an idea on who was up there.

"Jotaro!? What are you doing out of the hospital!?" Port asks while standing from her desk. Her outburst attracted the attention of all the other members of the Agency. And almost all of them swarmed the first floor.

The large teen just chuckled before saying, "you didn't think that would be enough to slow me down did you?" Markus just shakes his head with a laugh while Hanabi looks like she is tearing up a bit. Gomtai though looks the student over before asking if he was really okay.

"More or less. I won't have my strength or invulnerability for a while. And even then, it will take time to really recharge. But that doesn't mean I can't still do some good." Jotaro says with a look that some feel is reminiscent of All Might. With Markus asking if he was the former number one hero's son. Only for Hanabi to remind him that All Might had a quirk.

Jotaro looks around a bit before noting that Mirko wasn't there. "Though I think I know where she is." "Yeah. Rumi-nee… well she's been in there almost nonstop. She still comes out to deal with criminals, but the way she's doing it. It's been kind of brutal." Markus says with a downtrodden look.

Hanabi agrees and notes that she had barely eaten either. Often passing through to get some protein shakes or bars before returning to the gym. Jotaro lets out a breath before saying he'll talk with or deal with her. While half of the group wonder if he really can given his weakened state, the other half hope he can snap her out of the funk.

When he arrives, Jotaro can see the sheer amount of weight the Rabbit Hero is lifting on the leg press machine. 'It's nothing compared to me or Izuku, but it's definitely impressive. But even without my super senses I can tell she's going too far. She can't take much more.'

After thinking this, he walks forward before coming beside the machine and the hero he was working under. He can see the sweat and strain on her muscles as she continues to push herself. And the look in her red eyes tells him what she's thinking about.

"You know working yourself into a frenzy isn't going to change what happened. And it won't get my virtually invincible state back." Jotaro says while looking down at Mirko. She finally registers that he was there and is shocked.

"What?! But!? How?! When?!" Mirko starts before Jotaro puts a hand on the top of her head. "Is this really the time to be playing the questions game?" he says with a smirk. The hero snaps out of some of her shock to get angry and punch Jotaro in the stomach.

While he is coughing, Mirko tells him to not pat her on the head. "I'm not….. not a kid anymore…. And you're younger than me damnit! I'm the one who should be worried about you! And the fact that…. That if I had gotten there sooner. You wouldn't have gotten hurt. You wouldn't have lost all you power. It's because of me you- "

Before she could finish those thoughts, Jotaro had stood again and placed a rough hand on her shoulder. And then punched her in the stomach as hard as he currently could. It knocks the wind out of the Rabbit Hero and drops her to her knees. And while she is trying to regain her breath, Jotaro is standing tall and starts lecturing her.

"I'm in this state because of my own actions, NOT yours! I went off and almost got myself killed because I lost my temper and fell into a trap. And I will tell you this now: if you think that just because I don't have my strength, speed or invulnerability I'm going to stop being a hero. Well then you aren't as deserving of the respect as hero as I thought you were."

That last piece incises Mirko. She grits her teeth before slowly standing to face him. Deciding in her mind that she has to show him that she is still capable and he needs to wait to try and be a hero again. She rushes at him with a kick faster than most can see.

Only to be surprised that he was bending at waist ready for her. Before she can try to change direction, Jotaro brings his own leg up to kick her side and send her flying across the room.

"Ah! What the hell!? Where did that come from?!" Mirko asked after rolling and getting to her feet. Jotaro had spun into a three-point stance before standing and walking forward a bit. He adjusted his stance to face Mirko before gesturing to 'bring it'.

It shocks the rabbit quirked woman but she narrows her eyes before leaping forward. And getting a palm strike to the center of her body. The impact compounded by her leap and Jotaro's timing and strength.

"It's true you're fast and I'm a lot slower now. But there is an easy WAY to avoid and counter it!" Jotaro says before dodging and blocking a few renewed kicks and punches from Mirko. Then countering with his own strikes and a throw that sends Mirko to the ground.

She rolls out of the way as Jotaro tries to stomp on her. She lashes out with another kick before asking, "and how's that?! How do you do it!?" Jotaro smirks before saying, "if your opponent is ten times faster; just read ten moves ahead."

Mirko is wide eyed again before taking another hit and getting at least one good hit in on the teen. But she is impressed as she ups her speed again, and Jotaro is able to read her to avoid or defend against the strongest hits.

After ten minutes of sparing, both are feeling tired and breathing heavy. Rumi decides to go for broke and use one of her ultimate moves. She blitzes forward before bringing her leg up for a Lunar Arc.

But Jotaro anticipated this and had started to build something up within himself while catching his breath. After another deep breath, he feels as though he can interpret the world in slow motion. He brings his hands in close to his body before drawing on the energy around him.

'It's been a while since I could pull on this. But from what it feels like, it's no different from what shifu taught me. Sense, gather, and direct. Now to unleash it!' Jotaro thinks while forming a ball of energy in his hands.

He thrust his hands forward, aiming directly at Mirko's face. "Storm Fist!" Jotaro shouts out as the blast is launched. The impact reverses Mirko's motion and sends her spiraling backwards again. This time unconscious.

"Hah… ha…. Woo. I'm a little out of practice with that. But a few days and I should be able to pull from Gaia and Shu once again." Jotaro says before sitting back on a bench. The others who had been watching the fight from the door were flabbergasted. "Where did that come from?!" Hanabi shouts first as she and the rest come in.

Jotaro regains his breath before mentioning that he had been trained by a master long ago. "I happened upon him by chance, and he could sense the turmoil of energies within me. Calling me a raging storm or calamity. Well, I lost my temper and attacked him. Only to get my ass kicked ten different ways. And this was me with my full power and capabilities."

This shocked everyone once more and they asked what else happened. Jotaro explained that he'd been knocked out over a dozen times before the old master had started to show any signs of fatigue. During that time, Saphentite had also come out and faced off with the man.

But she fared no better and the old master seemed to have the capabilities to disrupt even the magic binding her. "He offered to help free Saphee if we both would stay at his temple and train. Learning his techniques and abilities. So we did. I was able to master the power of kii due to my own connections with multiple energy forces. And a bit of a talent for fighting."

"So can you use that to recharge yourself to full power?" Markus questioned while helping Mirko up. Jotaro shook his head. Explaining that it would take an insane amount to do that. "Besides, I can't actually use these techniques as effectively when I'm at full power. If I did, there's a chance I could destroy far more than intended."

As Mirko was waking up, Jotaro explained that his teacher had taught him how to unleash even the energies inside of him for attack or beams. "Though the first time I did that I overdid it and drained myself down to a similar state to now. Which made it easier to learn his techniques. Since I could actually see them."

Mirko groans before saying, "damn. Didn't expect that. But you didn't use it until the very end. Why?" Jotaro smiles before saying, "I'm still reorienting to the state I'm in. If I try to rush it, it could backfire. Besides, I felt it was better to show you that my normal fighting skills could get the job done. That was just a little flair and a test to make sure I could still do it."

"So you used me as a crash test dummy? Kind of yeah. Next time how about you practice on an actual dummy? But then how will I know that it is really effective?" Mirko and Jotaro quip back and forth a few times. Before they both break down and have a hearty laugh.

She nods before telling Jotaro thank you. "You pissed me off on purpose right? To get me to lash out with my own feelings. Rather than bottle them up." Jotaro nods before telling her that it wouldn't do her any good to stew on what had happened and was lost.

After bandaging up both of their new bruises, Hanabi clapped her hands before telling them both that she would be making a big dinner tonight. "And you don't have to help Jotaro. And even though I know you probably want to, please don't. Not tonight anyway. After all, it is also kind of a going away party."

Jotaro is a bit wide eyed, but he sees the woman's point. It was about time for him to return and resume his studies at UA. So, he relaxes with his teammates and enjoys one last meal with the members of the Mirko Agency.

The next day he tells them all goodbye and gives a few exercises for Hanabi and Markus to refine their powers. "And Hanabi. Mirko wouldn't be opposed to… well you know. And good luck with Koni as well." Jotaro says. Making the tall woman blush while Jotaro also encourages Markus's growth with his gravity powers.

He is not the only one leaving their mentors though. Melissa, Mirio and Izuku shake hands with Nighteye as they are catching the train back to Mustafa. While Ochaco and Nejire have a teary goodbye with Ryukyu. Setsuna and Tsuyu are both sad and glad their work studies are done, while Saphentite and Itsuka both get a hug from the number 10 hero.

"I'm sorry I couldn't keep you both from getting hurt. But I'm glad you both showed what kinds of heroes you are." Ryukyu says while having a hand on both of their shoulders. The two nod and thank her for giving them a chance to show what they could do.

They head for the train station and are surprised to see Jotaro as well as the group from the Sir Nighteye's team. "Well isn't that a lucky coincidence! Lets hurry on board and take it easy." Mirio says with his usual smile.

Izuku agrees before taking both Melissa and Ochaco's hands. Jotaro meanwhile holds his own out for Itsuka. Who takes it with a blush. They all board and relax on the ride back to Mustafa. And UA High School.

Once they arrive, they are met by their classmates and teachers to talk about what happened during their work studies. With Aizawa unsure if Jotaro should continue as a student until he recharges. But this thought is knocked aside when he calls Mirko and she tells them all that Jotaro beat her without his powers.

"Sent me flying and knocked me out. And he'd only just left the hospital! Trust me. He'll show them plenty of what he can do." Mirko said over speaker phone. This makes more of the students curious about what happened and they want more details.

Jotaro stops this by mentioning, "as much as I'd like to show you, I think we all could use a break after our work studies. No?" A few shuffle or try to deny it, but the teachers agree and tell the students they should rest up.

"You all have to give reports about your experiences and any improvements tomorrow. So head back and relax." Vlad King says with a nod to his own students. Jotaro catches Itsuka's arm though and asks her to meet in the tree line later. "Izuku will be there too. I need to show you both something."

The martial artist is confused but agrees as Jotaro jogs off to catch Izuku. After unpacking and relaxing for a bit, Itsuka takes her chance and sneaks out of the 1-B building. She finds Izuku and Jotaro in a small clearing meditating.

Jotaro opens his eyes and says, "good. Izuku. Come on out. You need to see this." Izuku takes a bit longer to awaken but he does eventually. "So what did you want to show us?" Izuku asks while shaking out the cobwebs of talking with the vestiges of OFA.

His true meta mentor looks to the side a few times before bringing his hands to his center. Creating a small circle before breathing deep. He draws in the energy of the earth and air before creating another Storm Fist.

The appearance shocks both of the teens as they see it form. Their shock increases when Jotaro thrusts his hands forward to launch the attack. Breaking a tree branch with the attack. He then brings his hands to his side before pulling on the energies again.

He then punches the ground while letting out a quiet 'Gaia Wave!' and rush of energy is fired forward. Both of his students have their jaws basically on the ground and can't even put together a coherent sentence to ask where it came from.

"Izuku, I'm not sure if you want to learn this. But I wanted you both to have the chance to learn this level of technique. The ability to draw energy from the world around you. The power of kii." Jotaro says before telling Itsuka it was the next step in her training as well.

When she asks him why he didn't teach this to her sooner, he explains that there were a few reasons. "The main one being that I couldn't… well teach it efficiently when I'm all powered up. It's hard to draw energy from the world without having to worry about it rampaging."

He also notes that she shouldn't rely on it all the time. As it could be a curse as much as a strength. "Think about how you felt after you lost your quirk. In the state of mind you were in, you might have taken any power. If it let you do something similar to what you could do before."

"You're right. I would have at the time. I may have even gotten drunk off the power and gone overboard. But now I see things clearer, and I understand what you had in mind. I can do this." Itsuka says with a focused gleam in her eyes. She takes her stance before bowing to Jotaro and asking him to train her.

The bit at the end was to play towards what happens in canon with Bakugo and Izuku. Where the former feels like he not only failed but that it was his fault All Might wasn't the number one anymore.

Mirko isn't exactly the same but she does seem to have a similar temperament to him. So, it seemed to make sense that she might feel guilty for what happened to Jotaro. While I also made it to where Jotaro would confront this immediately rather than let it stew and work her through the anger.

Also, I'm not really planning to have Izuku learn this form of kii. He already has too many powers to work with, and half of those don't even have to do with OFA. I'm thinking more on the lines of him learning these forms from Jotaro would help him understand his kinetic drain power. Because….. well it could be compared Warframe's Gauss and his Thermal Sunder ability. Just you know. No killing. Anyway, please review!
