The big jolt of turbulence shook Adalind out of her deep slumber of sleep she was in and rather enjoying to be quite honest.

For a moment it allowed her brain to feel stable and have a sense of peace with safety.

There was a reason it was only a moment though.

She remembered exactly the situation she was still in even though it was at one of its more tame and relaxed points of time, which was rare considering everything up until this point.

Adalind's eyes snapped open and she looked defensively to the left, snapping her head over to the right now to make sure nobody was about to attack her. She then turned her attention upfront as more turbulence shook the plane.

Upfront she met Kelly's faraway gaze.

It always unsettled her how she did that.

It was like she was staring through you and not even staring at you at the same time. Like her mind already made its choice on how to go at you and she was just measuring you up.

Adalind wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing either.

The woman has been on the run most of her life so it shouldn't surprise her.

Hell, by the way it was looking, it looked like Adalind may be possibly headed for a similar fate. Kelly still hadn't said a word as Adalind took notice that Diana had finally fallen asleep. Diana impressed her in so many ways, a baby falling asleep on a plane this turbulent? Amazing.

Adalind almost grinned at the sight until she felt self-conscious again with the way Kelly was eyeing her.

Adalind decided to be brave and test the waters "You about to drill me with questions..." She asked slowly, Adalind had been feeling pretty powerful as of late, but damn this woman was intimidating.

"Not yet." Was all Kelly said shortly.

Adalind swallowed her nerves. No reason to be nervous.

Kelly's eyes squinted an inch and just like that, Adalind felt nervous. Once again she tested the waters though. "What are you doing-" Adalind tried to say but the lump in her throat made it difficult, she cleared her throat. "What are you doing then..."

Kelly remained silent and Adalind fidgeted.

"Wondering when you are going to take your child so I can take a bullet out of mine." Kelly said as she still hadn't moved an inch. Adalind wasn't even sure if she blinked yet.

Does she blink at all?

Adalind did however look down at the handsome face in her lap, although sickly face it was at this current moment. She felt so comfortable with him on her and this close that she almost forgot he was even there.

Adalind rubbed her hand through his hair a couple of more times. She really needed to stop doing that but she couldn't help it.

He had a cold, clammy sweat building up on his forehead.

The veins hadn't grown and Adalind wondered if maybe his being incapacitated helped with that. Since he didn't have to focus energy on constantly fighting, running, and watching over his shoulder & was completely out. His body could focus on staving off the poison and give him some more time possibly.

At least that's what Adalind told herself to help soothe her mind.

It had some merit to it and it could be true so who knows? Maybe it wasn't so far-fetched.

He did however look paler and not the pale as the way she saw him when he was brutalizing Verrat and Royal members but a deathly pale. She softly lifted his head off of her lap even though there was a reluctance to do so in her heart.

Sliding out from under it and gently lying it back down.

It was eerie how he hadn't moved at all. Like he was dead but alive.

She hated to say it but she would be more comfortable if he was shifting a lot, like a restless sleep than him just lying there still. Kelly watched the interaction like a falcon eyeing prey from a distance.

Adalind gave Nick one more caring touch on his chest then turned to face Kelly.

Seriously, does she blink?!

Adalind held her wits though, walking toward her albeit lightly to take ahold of Diana. She didn't want to wake her, so they tried to be as gentle as possible with the exchange.

Adalind squatted a little to be more under her as she lifted her from the seated Kelly. Who's line of vision finally shifted off of Adalind to Diana for a moment. The few seconds gave Adalind a better sense of security without the scrutiny of the stare Kelly had.

Adalind wanted to speak but wasn't sure if she should. Her mouth opened but no words came.

She then realized she wasn't even sure what words she wanted to say. Why did this feel worse than the first time she met her? Good god.

"Thank you." Adalind finally manage to say.

Kelly eyed her some more then stood and walked to grab things. Adalind watched her walk by then breathed a brief sigh of relief. Kelly then had what looked to be tweezers, a rag, and wrapping bandages.

Adalind figured it was good they had more medical things than food this go around. Which did make her stomach turn because the three of them could manage without food consumption at the moment but Diana wasn't in the same boat.

And sadly Hexenbiest aren't known for their ability to breastfeed. A genetic she didn't feel like or particularly want to know what was the case for them not being able to, so she was in a rough predicament right now.

"I'm going to need to feed Dia-"

"I already fed her when you fell asleep and theirs more in that bag down there by the pilot's door." Kelly said shortly. Adalind flinched at the sudden interruption but her confusion was greater.

"What do you me-"

"I figured you wouldn't have much of an opportunity to get her food since you were too busy almost getting killed." Kelly said dryly as she crouched down by Nick's stilled body. His chest was breathing like he was heaving though and Adalind honestly didn't know if that was good or bad but at least he was breathing.

Adalind also wasn't too sure if Kelly was trying to make a little dark, subtlety of a joke or if she was just making a statement when she said that. She was thrilled that she got the formula for Diana though.

"Thank you" Adalind said way more confident this time, the gratitude exuberating from the surprise of it as well.

Kelly had just got into the position she wanted to take to begin pulling the bullet out but she turned to give Adalind another look as Adalind had just thanked her. She was eyeing her again and Adalind felt like she was staring right through and stripping her layer by layer internally.

Then she just stopped. Went back to removing the bullet from Nick's arm.

He may not have been aware of it, but Adalind knows he is glad that he is out for this at least. She was so worried about him and this was the first time she felt comfortable admitting that to herself.

It was like forbidden fruit but now she had a taste of it and refused to shun herself from it any longer.

Yes, she cared for him. Surprisingly a lot.

Yes, she was in fear of what a life without him no longer being around for it would be. However, she envisioned that, although platonic was not appealing to her at all.

So yes, she was beginning to realize she was hoping for more.

So many feelings, coursing through her heart with various thoughts sprinting around her brain. Adalind wasn't too sure what was going to happen between them or if anything she hoped would happen but none of that mattered right now if he didn't make it.

An uneasy feeling came over her at that daunting possibility he wouldn't.

A fearful sigh escaped her looking at him now. "It's genuine." Adalind heard Kelly say and it shook her out of all the places her mind was going. She turned slightly to see Kelly gazing directly at her eyes and Adalind realized that must have meant she had been staring at her the whole time Adalind was sorting through her mind and her fearsome look at Nick was growing.

"What?" Adalind asked as her mind tried to refocus on the woman in front of her.

"Been trying to figure out why a while ago you were in fear that my son was going to kill you & now you are kissing him." Kelly said so matter-of-factly that it almost sounded normal. Adalind felt an embarrassing blush build in her cheeks like a teenager being caught making out with her boyfriend by his parents.

Not to mention anxiety and confusion on how she could answer this question because she wasn't even quite sure herself on how to answer that. She just knows her face had a dopey look on it that was probably growing. "Well...Well I, you know...Um..." She cleared her throat. "I-I don't even know what you're talking about."

Denial never hurt anybody right? Oh wait, it does.

Kelly for the first time looked amused. Just a little though. A little. Probably as amused as she possibly could look knowing her. "If you don't then my heavy suspicion that you did something to him is growing."

That may be Adalind's eyebrows sparked up. "What?! You think I did something?" Adalind sounded partly shocked and offended.

"I did." Kelly said simply without even batting a lash. "Until I saw that look on your face."

Adalind flared brows now furrowed. "Look?"

"At my son." She nodded towards Nick. "It was genuine."

Adalind's flaring temper simmered and embarrassment arrived once more but not to the red cheek level. She didn't even know what to say. Kelly went back to removing the bullet from Nick but filled the silence. "You were going to lose that baby either way you know." Kelly said as she made sure the tweezers were clean.

Adalind couldn't help the firmer hold she held onto Diana and she didn't even know what Kelly meant. "What are you talking about?" Adalind asked already defensive.

Kelly now pulled the bullet out and quickly applied a bandage to it before more blood came out. "I was going to take her." She said simply.

Adalind stepped back and held Diana closer. "Your not taking my baby." Adalind said shakily at the fear of losing Diana again, not because Kelly still had her shaken. She was actually angry.

"Now." Was all Kelly said and her short answers bothered Adalind more now.

"Did Nick know?" Adalind was extremely hopeful that he didn't and he was oblivious to this. For some reason, it really...really would hurt if he was in on it and that was the plan the whole time.

"I told him how imperative it was that child has a normal life and especially not with the Royals. I didn't have much faith in you providing that at the time. That's all he knew."

Adalind felt relief wash over her but pushed that to the side for now "But I sided with the resistance." Adalind's tone was becoming harsher.

"At that moment, you did. But you, like most hexenbiest, always want power or will do anything to manipulate a situation until it is best suited for you then wait to act later. Most if not all of you are self-serving and selfish." Kelly went back to tending to Nick now.

"Selfish? Big coming from the woman who abandoned her child." Adalind said but she will admit, hexenbiest are like that and she may have had a point about it but she still wasn't going to stand there & say nothing.

"I left Nicky so he could be safe and live a normal life. At least more than what I could give him." She wiped more blood off of his arm. Kelly was still wiping the blood away and Adalind chose not to speak.

It was gentle wipes but she spoke "Part of me wonders now. If by me thinking that taking your child was the best course of action..." She was still wiping blood off and the way she was speaking felt as if she was just voicing thoughts. How soft her voice came out but as if she was talking into nowhere. Not actually talking to Adalind.

"If I was trying to make up for giving up my family. Instead of fighting for it all." She turned back to Adalind. "I still don't think you keeping her is the best outcome for the world or her safety." She turned back to wiping more blood away even though the area was as clean as it was going to get.

She looked back at her again. "But you fought." Adalind's anger subsided somewhat as she watched what probably was one of the rarest moments of Kelly Burkhardt opening up.

Kelly started wrapping the bandage around Nick's arm "I know what it's like to lose a child from my own choice and how much I wish I could take it back." She looked back At Adalind once again. "A child deserves not only to be safe but to have a mother who will fight for it."

She looked back at Nick as she continued wrapping his arm. "And a mother who can provide them a life they deserve. Even if that means fighting for it until the last breath is exhaled from your body."

She finished wrapping Nick's arm now. "I chose a fight but not the fight I should have been fighting for." Kelly stood now but didn't look at her, she just stared forward, her left cheek to Adalind.

Adalind backed up a little more to give her space.

But Adalind knew the answer, an answer Nick bestowed upon her in the house. "Family." Adalind said softly & lowly.

Kelly stayed silent for a pretty long moment before she filled it "Yes."

Adalind was eyeing her now with an intense stare. She hadn't expected this type of conversation. "Why are you telling me all this?" Adalind asked.

"Because you've proved me wrong & looks like my son feels differently about you as well. Don't prove me right." Kelly said as she stared down at Nick one more time. Referring to Adalind's old ways and Adalind knew it.

Adalind had a feeling where this one was going "Or you'll kill me right?" Adalind said with a little worry but also knowing sarcasm.

"Yes." Kelly said immediately and turned to look at her this time. "But you'll lose everything you just fought so hard to obtain. That's your real threat." Kelly now moved to walk away to dispose of the bloody materials Adalind assumed.

Leaving Adalind standing there in the quiet as she just stared forward at Nick. "You're going to be a good mother Adalind." Kelly's cold voice said out of the blue, causing Adalind to spook a little. "Shouldn't be much longer before we land."

Kelly went to doing whatever she was doing & Adalind just stare forward.

Her mind was churning. In a way, she already had that conversation with herself but hearing from someone who not only is a mother but was sort of in her position really put things into a perspective she hadn't approached yet.

Adalind knows she would do anything for Diana & especially to keep her safe.

She also knows she said she would do it the right way and what Kelly said was a way of reiterating that. But just different because the words held more weight from someone who actually had to make a choice and feels it was her greatest mistake.

Diana deserved not only to be safe but to have a truly normal life and it made Adalind laugh a little because Nick was telling her about how he was chasing that with Juliette. But you don't have to be normal to be normal.

Normal is what you make it and how you approach it every day no matter what it takes.

Kelly thought the best way at the time was to take on the danger on your own shoulders & keep the ones you love far away so they will be safe. Adalind looked at her fiddling with things and honestly, the woman would be a role model to some.

She was strong, witty, and independent. Who fought for a good cause toward a greater good.

But while she has all those characteristics and intangibles. She carried herself & looked exactly how she felt. A loner.

Not just alone in the outside world. But alone in her heart & by her lonesome with her thoughts.

Kelly was alone when she didn't have to be and now that Adalind has heard her speak, it haunts & eats away at her every day. But she has accepted her decisions but she isn't pleased with them. Probably why she fights so hard for what she believes in, if she were to fail, then it all would have been for nothing.

Adalind already knew what it was like to be alone, though; it wasn't exactly by choice, but she had been alone. Because like she has said before, Catherine may have been her mother, but she never felt like family. Adalind felt more like a protégé, like her student.

The path she had been on before Diana was worse though.

At least Kelly was alone by choice but had people she cared about & for.

Adalind had no one. People either hated her because she screwed them over, manipulated or used them. Or she hated them for doing the same to her. Surrounded by a world of liars and users with no one who gives a damn about you.

Only people who do are the ones needing you for their own gain.

You were completely alone then and that she was.

Causes you to lower your values & standards, and maybe that's why she put up with her mother for so long. A person who loved her even though it was clear she didn't like Adalind or care for much of what she wanted.

Then pining over Renard who didn't do anything but insult her and throw her to the side when he was done.

Adalind looked down at Diana who was cooing adorably in her sleep. She smiled at her as she rocked to the side a little more.

Adalind realized she didn't know how to love. But she didn't have to, because she knew what it was like not to be loved her whole life. It was kind of exciting, she'll get to experience a whole new life, feeling, and area in life she had never been in before & for once she was stoked to find out what will happen.

It's like she'll get to learn how to love and everything along with Diana.

She watched as Kelly slid open the door to the pilot's compartment again now. The occurrence put Adalind back into the more present reality.

Remembering how she would prefer this future that she was just beaming at the prospect of having Nick in it as well. Kelly said it shouldn't be too much longer and she hoped that was correct because time was shortening rapidly for him.

Adalind felt a terrible feeling as she watched more veins grow black on his neck which was now under his chin and beginning to show on his face. She couldn't even imagine how rough it looked around his many wounds.

She rocked Diana some more. "We're almost there honey."

"Alright, Wu send me the picture." Hank said as he was pulling up in front of the spice shop.

"Will do. I'll warn you though, she looks like she was just wearing diapers last year." Wu said with that deadpan sarcasm of his. Earning a perplexed face from Hank as he parked his car.

"The hell are you talking about Wu?"

"You'll see." Wu answered and Hank's phone vibrated letting him know the image was sent. Hank brought the phone down and swipe over to his messages to see the image of the suspect.

Now he understood what Wu meant. "A girl this young brutally killed two people in a forest and steals cars?" Hank wasn't asking a question to be answered, but rather presenting it out loud to see how he could approach it. How it could make sense.

"Well, she has killer taste in restaurants too because the French fry you found only could fit two of the places I checked in the area." Wu said as Hank stopped looking at the picture and brought the phone back to his ear.

"Alright, thanks Wu." Hank said as he hung up the phone. Staring at the photo one more time of the young woman. Extremely young. She looked like she maybe could have still been eighteen even.

This case was really starting to get to him.

He has been working with Nick long enough to tell if something starting to have Wesen written all over it and this one did. It consisted of the usual too. Two murders that couldn't be explained, bloody bodies in the middle of a forest, and a person who looks like they shouldn't be capable of doing it unless they were not your average human being.

Hank was sure it was Wesen actually.

But Nick's not here so how could he tell unless he pissed one off on purpose but then he's going to have to shoot somebody. Which he has no issue with but he prefers it to be when he cracks the case.

This is why he came to the Spice Shop, maybe didn't have Nick but he had Monroe & Rosalee who are more than helpful. He also wanted an update on the Nick situation and he was hoping that his mind constantly being worried about his best friend & partner wasn't knocking him off of his game too badly right now.

Now that night took an unexpected turn.

He used to unexpected turns and middle-of-the-night calls, he was a detective after all. Then introduced into this even crazier world so then he got used to even more unexpected and middle-of-the-night calls. They just were unusual now too.

But when Nick filled him in on everything that night, it took him a few moments to process it all. One thing after another and it all was shocking.

Hank stepped out of his car finally to approach the door. Checking his surroundings like he always does, might as well be an instant reflex at this point. Use to be just a habit he did but another one of those things that changed when he found out about how the 'real' world works with Wesen & all.

Despite all of the craziness though, he wouldn't change it for a damn thing. Some of the people he knows now are the closest friends he has ever had, his cop life has an even deeper purpose now that he has an even deeper understanding of the world he really is in.

The open sign was facing forward so he was glad they were already here.

Opening the door and they both were actually behind the counter. Both had their coats on so they just arrived. "Hey Hank." Rosalee greeted him as she took hers off and walked to the back. "Hey dude how you been?" Monroe asked as he was checking the register. Probably making sure they sorted it right.

"Rosalee, Monroe." Hank said their names as a greeting himself. Nodding his head. "Good enough I guess." Hank spoke with a sigh. "You guys just getting in?" He asked as he walked up to the counter and Rosalee re-enter the room while Monroe walked to the back to take his jacket off.

"Yeah, we were just getting back from getting a few things set up for Adalind & the baby." Rosalee gave him one of her signature soft smiles.

"How did you guys find that place anyways? Monroe asked him as he walked past Rosalee to tinker with a shelf behind her.

Hank shook his head slightly. "We didn't. Nick did that night before he left in the morning." Rosalee gave him a face of inquiry as Monroe turned his head slightly and Hank saw the wonder in his expression. "I'll go into detail at another time. You guys were setting things up though?" He asked them this time.

"Yeah, well we figured she wouldn't have the time to do it." Monroe said with a little chuckle at the obviousness of it. Hank nodded as if he was saying 'good point'.

Rosalee's face saddened. "I hope Nick's alright."

"Well we know he's not alright, we just don't know if he's alright enough to be completely alright to the point of truly being alright..." He saw the unamused look Hank was giving him along with Rosalee but hers had a soft, fond smile with it as well. "I hope he's alright too." He said eventually and Rosalee couldn't help the tiniest of chuckles that escaped her throat.

Monroe returned the look but the worry on his face grew back. "I'm just worried you know?" Monroe shook his head as his mouth hung parted slightly. "He didn't look good the last time we saw him."

"I know." Rosalee said sadly and looked down as if she was trying to keep the troubling thoughts that were growing out of her head.

Hank looked between them both. "You guys saw Nick? How?"

"He called us." Rosalee answered as she stared back up.

"Well, technically Adalind called us." Monroe said in correction.

"Adalind called you?" Hank asked, wanting that to be delved into more.

"Well, Nick was a little too busy...well you know...dying on the floor." Monroe said aloud. Hank's face scrunched up even more at that.

"What?" He asked with a little exclaim.

Monroe was about to speak up again but Rosalee intervene before he could "No no! He wasn't dying." She held her hands out in a settle-down motion to the room, she knows Monroe sometimes can't help how he words things in tense situations. "Okay well, he was. But that's why Adalind called. She said he got stabbed by a blade but it was poisoned."

"Poisoned?" Hank asked next. Rosalee looked at Monroe but he happily let her know she can explain that one.

"I won't get into the specifics of it but it's some pretty old, nasty stuff. Usually doesn't take long for it to be fatal if not immediately cared for." Rosalee's voice toned down into a gloom the more she finished the sentence.

"It can be fatal if not immediately cared for. Isn't that a problem then?" Hank asked next. Much like Nick, they took everything as a detective would.

Rosalee was about to answer again but Monroe did this time "Yes but we told Adalind how to slow it down for a little while."

"And him being a Grimm should help stave it off for a little longer. How much longer...I don't know." Rosalee added on.

"Why didn't you tell Adalind how to stop it in general." Hank asked next.

"We did but they weren't exactly in the position to do anything." Monroe answered next.

"Son of a bitch" Hank said under his breath in frustration at the whole situation. Rosalee and Monroe both sighed in agreement with the frustration at all of this. "Did they get the baby?"

"Nick said they did." Monroe replied.

"Her name is Diana." Rosalee said right after and followed up on it because Hank had made a face. "Adalind decided to name her Diana.

Hank made an 'oh okay' expression at that "Well, it's cute."

"I wonder where Renard has been during all of this." Monroe said with some venom.

"Considering the fact he's the cause of most if not all of this?" Rosalee added on with even more disgust. Hank grew a regretful look on his face.

"That's another problem actually" Hank began. Earning the furrow brows of wonder from Monroe and Rosalee. "I haven't seen him since the morning Nick left. Tried calling him a few times but no answer in all the amount of days he's been gone."

Rosalee rolled her eyes. "Well, that's not good." Monroe said stating the obvious.

"If he gave the ba-" He caught himself. "Diana to the Royals in the first place it wouldn't surprise me if that's where he was right now," Hank said with some annoyance.

"Hence probably why Nick & Adalind ran into trouble in the first place." Rosalee said with rising tension.

"Well, they were going to run into trouble no matter what." Monroe said. "Renard probably just sped it up...we assume."

Hank shook his head. "It would explain why they looked so rushed and out of sorts when they called us too." Rosalee said to Monroe as Hank stared between them both. Rosalee knew that they obviously weren't going to have it easy but from what she saw, they looked frazzled, very dirty, and wounded. Especially Nick and she wasn't just talking about the poison.

How he was still going she had no clue. Will of a Grimm it must be.

"As much as he probably has something to do with it. We can't be sure yet." Hank said practically. Earning a stare from the couple but their anger was lessening although he was pretty pissed himself.

Rosalee sighed. "We should have gone with them." She closed her eyes now. Monroe walked over to wrap his arm around her and give it a nurturing rub.

"I wish we did to honey. But Nick wanted to do it alone." Rosalee balled up her lips, shaking her head at the emotion of it all, and gave Monroe an extremely sad smile. But at least she mustered one up. It was looking dim, but this all wasn't ever just yet. Nick still has a chance.

Thinking about Nick though made Hank thank of somebody else. "Anybody checked up on Juliette?"

Rosalee looked up at Hank from Monroe's embrace "We went over there a few minutes after Nick & Adalind drove off but she wasn't home. Got a little worried but her car wasn't there so we assumed she went to work."

"Did she?" Hank asked intrigued.

"We thought so but as we were leaving her car pulled up in the driveway and she didn't look like she was in a good mood at all. She had a smell though. I can't explain the place where I smelled it before though." Monroe said. His nose wagged as if he was still trying to recount it.

"I guess that makes sense, considering Nick just left. Probably was worried." Hank said in response.

Rosalee nodded her head but slowly like she was about to say something which she was "We thought that too..."

"Until..." Monroe said as Hank gave them both a questioning face.

"Well, the second time Nick called...We asked him if he wanted us to tell Juliette anything and he was definitely against that idea." Monroe said. "It didn't sound good, all Imma say."

"What you think they broke up?" Hank's voice matched his face at the non-belief he had of that.

"I think a fight or something big happened because that was a weird way for both of them to act." Rosalee clarified.

"Don't think Adalind had something to do with it do you?" Hank asked with a voice that symbolized he expected her to be involved at some point.

Rosalee shook her head. "Believe it or not. I think Adalind just cared and cares about getting Diana back."

Hank scoffed slightly. "If she didn't feed and drug me with love cookies I would be more inclined to believe that but I'll take you guys' word for it." Rosalee furrowed her lips in understanding at his sentiment on that.

"Here's your phone. Don't think about doing anything stupid either." Viktor said as he handed a beaten Renard his phone back. Standing in the midst of Viktor's corridors.

"When do we leave?" Was all Renard asked as he accepted his phone back, fighting through the urge to grunt in pain at moving his mouth with how sore his face was.

Viktor sipped from his glass as the six guards in the room all watched Sean. "Half an hour."

"Fine."

"Should arrive in godforsaken Portland Oregon by late nightfall."

Renard couldn't wait. After the beaten Viktor men and Viktor himself gave him, he was aching for payback. Get to the trailer. Find a way to inform Burkhardt so he comes without Viktor seeing. Then he is a free man. All he needed to do. Simply put but not simply executed.

Wasn't going to be easy but he has gotten himself out of worse.

"Did you need our help with something though?" Rosalee asked Hank. Trying to distract their minds.

Hank moved like he couldn't believe he almost forgot. "Yeah, I'm working on this case."

"Wesen?" Monroe asked as he walked to go check on shelves.

"I'm not sure but I think it is."

They both looked confused until they remembered. "You can't see their face or what they are because Nick isn't here." Rosalee said knowingly but sadly.

"Exactly." Hank said with the same tone. "How does a girl this young manage to brutally and I mean brutally kill two grown men in a forest?" Hank said as he handed Rosalee his phone to show her the picture and Monroe came up behind her shoulder to look with her.

"Looks like she could be what? Twenty? At the most." Monroe said as he went back to the shelves and Rosalee handed the phone back.

Hank was about to answer but his phone ranged. From an unknown number too. He squinted his eyes as he answered it. "Hello?"

"Tell Rosalee to get the stuff ready!" A frantic voice said from the other side. Leaving Hank bewildered. Wait a minute. "Adalind?" He questioned. Both Monroe and Rosalee perked up at that and watched what was unfolding.

"Yes!" She almost screamed from the other side. "We been calling for a few minutes but there wasn't any damn signal!" Adalind sounded like she was speaking through a worried voice and Hank could tell the phone was grabbed from her.

He put the phone on speaker so Monroe and Rosalee could hear. "Rosalee said she knows how to cure this poison right!" Kelly exclaimed. It sounded like a lot of turbulence and they all could hear coughing and Adalind making terrified sighs in the background.

"Yes I do!" Rosalee answered, exclaiming to o make sure she was heard.

"We're about to land and need to be picked up. Fast!. Think we're going to be cutting this close to the wire. Please." Kelly's voice sounded darkly as worried as it could probably get. Hank, Monroe and Rosalee all shared a look because that meant Nick definitely didn't have much longer left.

"Where at?!" Hank exclaimed back a listened to the area Kelly said they were probably going to land.

"We'll get everything ready!" Rosalee said as she began moving fast to grab the things she needed and Monroe followed suit.

I'm on my way!" Hank said and quickly left to get in his car. Determined in all of his motions.

Sorry I have been gone for so long. Had some personal issues and needed to take a break from the world to regain myself. Thank you for all of the reviews and sorry for the almost 3 weeks wait I believe.

As some of you know, this story is also being uploaded on AO3 just in case. I believe some new people have come from there to read the story here which is also nice!

Uploading it on AO3 made me look back and think how much the story has gone and its kind of cool to think about haha.

Appreciate you all truly.
