Chapter 26- Master of Death
Dorea watched in awe as the Peverell family trinkets seemed to be doing something to Harry. She could sense it; they were rapidly healing him. For confirmation she ran her diagnostics spells once more and found that she was right. He was getting better.
After another thirty minutes, Harry suddenly sat up, quickly turning around he threw up. He emptied his stomach and spat out something black. Dorea stood calmly by the side, as she waited for him to come back to his senses. She smiled happily when the boy opened his eyes groggily. His green eyes were glowing with power as always.
"H... Harry...?" She called as she felt tears of relief pour out of her eyes. She quickly knelt down next to the boy offering her presence as support. Harry got up slowly, his eyes falling on his mother. He slowly caught her hand in his and squeezed her hand gently.
"Sorry…" He whispered as he looked into his mother's eyes.
"Oh, my dear boy." She sniffed as she hugged him. Harry sighed softly as he hugged his mother. He could see the relief in her eyes.
"I thought I lost you." She cried. Harry kissed her cheek.
"Sorry. Sorry." He apologized not really knowing what to say.
"Where are the others?" He questioned and he felt the wards vibrate. He was up in a flash.
"What is going on?"
"There has been an attack. Your father and the others are outside."
Harry made towards the door ignoring the slight aches in his body.
"Harry, wait!" Dorea called out. "You are injured, son. Please don't go out. Your father will take care of it."
Harry shook his head. "I have never been better, mum. Don't worry. It's time to give them hell." He smirked.
"I love you mum." He stepped out of the room and dashed downstairs.
Dorea tried to fight the smile that threatened to take over her face, but failed miserably. She knew that he was alright. His vitals were back to normal, but there was something new in his magic. The air around him had changed slightly. It was more self-assured and even more palpable.
Harry rushed downstairs. He had to get back outside as fast as possible. He crossed the sitting room and he saw Narcissa. She stood up and stared at him in disbelief. Harry closed the distance and caught her in her arms before kissing her chastely. Harry conveyed all his feelings in that kiss.
Narcissa, who was initially taken by surprise, reciprocated his kiss after a moment, her eyes closing as she felt that bliss overtake her. She could finally breathe easily.
"No time to speak." He whispered as he broke the kiss. Narcissa nodded in understanding, knowing what was happening outside.
"We will talk, but for now. They need me out there. I'll be back, ok?" She nodded, not speaking a word.
Harry rushed back towards the front door and he glanced at the surroundings of the Manor. The Aurors had pushed back Tom's men and they were winning. He then noticed Bellatrix going head-to-head with Tom. Harry was bursting with pride as the girl fought back spell to spell.
He knew Bellatrix was powerful. How could he not? She was dedicated to learning and was already magically powerful, even without her learning anything from him. She could go head-to-head with anybody on the planet and come out on top. Such were her abilities. Battling Tom Riddle and with such confidence, that would put many experienced aurors to shame.
When Bellatrix descended into using the Cruciatus, he knew that Tom was trying to manipulate her. This would end badly. For all her strengths, Bellatrix tended to lose her temper and with that her control easily. He had to get in the fight now. The moment Tom found space; he fired a killing curse. He intersected the curse with a conjuration and he apparated in front of the girl.
The perks of having control of the wards were that you could fiddle with them as you liked. He stood in front of Bellatrix whose eyes were closed. Harry grinned as he watched her beautiful face once again. The first thought that crossed his mind when he thought that he was dead was that he would never see his girlfriends. The two women he loved the most in this world.
""Is this death?" She questioned softly. "Just nothing?"
"No." He whispered. "But you don't have to know that right now, Bell."
"Not for a long time." Harry whispered.
Her eyes snapped open and Harry smiled gently at the disbelief in her eyes and voice.
"Hey." Harry whispered smiling down at her, his eyes never leaving hers.
"Sorry it took time." He leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"It feels great to see you for real, Bell." Harry said. "I will be back shortly, and I have something important to talk about." Harry assured the girl and stepped back.
"Hello Tom." He whispered not turning back yet, but sent a quick wink towards Bellatrix. She smiled back at Harry, her eyes trailing his every movement. Harry turned around casually to meet Tom's surprised eyes. He could see the surprise in his eyes.
"Ah...my dear man. No need to be surprised. Death is just not the end for a Peverell. Nor can anybody die when another person wishes. We die when Death decides Tom. When he comes calling, we go. You may see your ability to kill a person as a power, but let me tell you, it is a bad idea."
Harry clicked his fingers and swirled his hand in a wave. The next moment, a crackling sound was heard by everyone and a blast of fire joined with a purple bolt raced towards Tom. Tom jumped away from the spell, but his eyes widened when the spell changed its course and instead followed him. The spell pierced through the mage shield he conjured with ease, shattering the shield and struck him right on his chest.
Harry watched in satisfaction as Tom was thrown back hard. There was no visible effect from the spell. Harry knew that. Tom didn't feel a thing apart from the force of the spell. He stood up warily, his eyes not leaving the boy.
"Oh…you need not be worried, Tom. Not for now." Harry smirked and that smirk didn't bode well with Riddle. He looked around and he knew that he had to get away. Most of his men were captured, dead or ran away. He didn't want to risk it anymore. This boy had no soft heart. He was a bastard. He really would not have used an ineffective spell on him at this time of the battle. He needed to go and get checked.
He backed up and glared at the boy. "Next time, you will not be speaking anymore, Potter. I will make sure of it." He promised and stepped away from the boundary line of the wards. He could see the goading in the boy's eyes. It infuriated him. He wanted to rip those eyes from their socket and watch the boy scream in agony.
He gritted his teeth and apparated away. He knew that he would be at a disadvantage at the moment.
—-&&&--
Harry stared at the spot the man had disappeared from and sighed in relief. Finally, he could relax. However, at that moment he was assaulted by someone who crashed into him and squeezed the breath out of him. Harry extracted himself from his brother's death grip and chuckled.
"I need to breathe, James." He said.
"We almost lost you." James pointed out not letting up on his grip.
"Bloody hell, we would have lost you, Harry." He further muttered as he tightened his grip making sure that he wasn't hallucinating.
Harry in response patted the boy's back soothingly and tried to assuage his fears.
"Well. I am fine. No need to worry." Harry assured.
He watched his father, uncle and Sirius approach him, smiling at him and relief evident on their faces.
"Hey Lily…" Harry greeted the redhead who was standing by the side lines. She seemed like she wanted to hug him, but held herself back. Harry opened his arms and Lily didn't need anybody telling her twice and she rushed forward and captured the boy in a tight hug.
"Are you sure you're alright?" She questioned softly. Harry had the feeling that she would cry if she expressed herself anymore. Harry nodded.
"I don't think that mother would be very pleased with me if I had come here in a bad condition." He joked.
"I am fine, no problem." He assured the girl. Lily nodded. She carefully extracted herself from the hug.
Harry noticed that something was different with the girl. There was a certain glow around her and he was sure that there was a new magical signature that he could feel from the girl. He tried to notice something different and he noticed the ring on her finger.
Harry smiled brightly and hugged the girl once more. "Congratulations."
He greeted the girl. She frowned in confusion but Harry clarified.
"Your engagement and the baby on the way." Lily smiled shyly and thanked him softly. He stared at the girl questioningly.
"You have not disclosed this to anybody, have you?" Lily shook her head.
"Come on. It is time to bring some more joy to this household. Do you want me to get your mother from her friend's place?" Lily shook her head.
"I will write a letter, asking her to come here... Don't bother going there." Harry nodded.
He stepped back and turned back to James. "You work quick." He winked at the boy.
James ducked his head in embarrassment, but Harry could see the pride in his eyes. "Go on. Get inside."
Harry, Charlus and Arcturus were still on the grounds. Harry approached Alastor Moody and the other aurors.
"Auror Moody." Harry nodded at the grizzled man. "Lord Peverell."
"I would like to thank you for the help, Auror Moody. You and your men got here as soon as you could. If there is anything I can do for you, just ask." Harry told the man.
"There is not much I can ask of you, young lad. It just won't be right. We were doing our duty." Moody shrugged.
Harry chuckled. "Ask anyway." Harry smiled at the man as he held out his hand. Moody shook his hand and nodded before nodding at the Potter and Black Lords.
"Let's get moving. We have a hell lot of paperwork to do and if any of you shits try to run away, I will curse you back into your mother's womb." He grumbled as they began to disappear from sight.
Harry watched all of them go. He closed his eyes and let his magic slide out. He checked for any discrepancies in the wards. Tried to find a fault or a chink in the armor. He found none. War wards were just very good. He had to do something to come up with a way to help people get these kinds of wards. They were a necessity.
"What are you thinking, son?" Arcturus questioned as he placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Something good." He muttered as he sighed.
"Come on. You guys have something very important to listen to and I have a distinct feeling that you would love it." Harry grinned mischievously as he led the two men inside.
—-&&&--
Harry followed the rest of them inside and into the sitting room. He was happy for his brother and Lily. Although, now that he thought about it, he was waiting for the arrival of the baby. He was curious to see whether the baby would be a boy or a girl and if it is a boy, will it be just like he was?
He had reached the entrance to the sitting room where Bellatrix seemed to be waiting for him. He was joined by the girl instantly and he pulled her close to him.
"What's the matter?" She asked. Harry shook his head.
"Nothing really. Come. James has something to say." He sat down on the ground in front of the seat that Narcissa had occupied and leaned back. She locked her arms around his neck as he leaned back. Bellatrix took a seat next to him and they waited expectantly to know what was happening.
James stood up almost nervous about what he was going to speak. He took a deep breath.
"I have something to say." He began. He was stopped by Lily who joined him. She took his hand.
"We." She corrected. "We have something to say."
"We are expecting a baby." James explained quickly. The family was stunned to begin with. Silence. Harry was the only one smiling while the rest of them were shocked.
"I know..." He began to placate his family. Getting pregnant outside the wedlock was a very big issue in the pureblood families. And when it comes to traditionalists like the Blacks and the Potters, it is more serious.
"I know that I was wrong. I should have been more careful. But we are not sorry. I am ready for this and so is Lily. We are looking forward to this challenge and we will not fail. But I have to do the right thing and I wanted to do it for a long time. I asked Lily to marry me." He explained.
"We would have informed you guys about this but Harry got injured and we decided that it was not the right thing to do." Lily continued.
"But what James said was true. We were not careful, but that will not change what we want to do. This baby will be the most loved baby and we will do everything possible to make sure it has a wonderful life."
The entire family's focus was on Dorea. The matriarch of the family. She was staring intently at the two of them. Her eyes narrowed and that was the sign that tells you that you must steer clear of the woman.
"I am not unhappy, but I am not happy either. James, what were you thinking?" She questioned. James had the decency to look ashamed. She let out a sigh.
"We will hold the wedding this week. Don't argue." She warned James who was about to say something to that.
"This wedding will happen this week. No questions asked. You will set up a trust vault for the child with your own earnings as an Auror." She finished.
She then smiled. "I am going to be a grandmother." She gushed, forgetting all of those etiquettes she had been taught. She stepped forward and embraced her son and soon to be daughter in law. "Congratulations." She whispered to the two of them.
The family wished James and Lily for their impending wedding and her pregnancy. Sirius chose that moment to speak.
"Aren't you people forgetting one thing?" The others frowned in confusion.
"This baby might well be Harry." He explained.
"Imagine having one, which we already have and he is a git. The second one and if we know anything about Harry, he will be mischievous as hell and a trouble magnet."
Harry snorted. "Look who's talking." He muttered. "If that baby is anything like me, James and Lily have a gem on their hands." He replied snobbishly.
"You are an idiot if you think so. I mean sure, you have some perks and added security to us when you are around, but if the baby is anything like you, I need to make sure that I leave the aurors and train it to become a full time marauder instead of doing those weird experiments like you do." James broke in with a grin.
"I do not." Harry huffed his argument with a touch of petulance.
"Harry." He looked back up to Narcissa. "You do experiment." She backed up James.
Harry folded his arms and huffed like a child causing a bout of laughter. He suddenly gained a faraway look in his eyes that Bellatrix noticed immediately.
"What is it?"
Harry sighed. He held out his thumb and pointing finger and squashed it until there was almost no space.
"I was this close to being dead." He said and the mood became somber.
"This close to never seeing you people ever again." He said.
"I didn't like it. I didn't like that feeling for one single second." Harry said.
"I can't be this way. I can't be lax anymore and I can't afford to let this go on any longer. I will have to finish what I started and I will have to do it soon." He muttered.
He turned around and looked at Narcissa and Bellatrix. He held out his hands for the two of them to take.
"Marry me." He said abruptly, taking all of them by surprise.
"I know this comes on abruptly, but once you have just been taken into the jaws of death and back, we must do some things immediately." He explained.
"I love you Narcissa, Bellatrix. You know that. This is just the next step." He admitted.
The room was silent for some time with no one speaking a word, watching the three youngsters with anticipation.
"So...?" Harry asked nervously. He assumed that he was right in doing so.
When he had woken up in Death's realm, his first thought was that he would never see their faces again. Being away from Narcissa and Bellatrix was painful. He knew that they might think he was being hasty, but only he knew the feeling of what he went through for those painful few minutes.
Harry waited patiently, but nervously for an answer. He was not worried per say. He knew how much the two of them loved him but were they ready for marriage? He didn't know.
"Yes." The two young women replied at the same time. "Yes, we will."
—--&&&--
Amelia Bones had been out of Britain for almost two months now. This was another necessary part for the training for the rookies. They would be sent out of Britain to other magical nations to work in stealth. It was a challenge of sorts. New place, unfamiliar faces and different conditions from their home. It was daunting and Amelia was glad that it was over now.
Bulgaria was not a pleasant country to be in, weather wise. Cold and damp. These few months, it seemed like this place never gets any sunlight. She cursed her luck for her ending up in this place. She didn't know what was going on back home. She was worried. She hoped that her brother, Harry and all her friends were alright.
She had decided not to go when she had been asked to take up her training. But Harry wouldn't hear the end of it. He insisted that she needed to do this and not wait. She had relented. He was right. If not now, she would have to do this after a year and she would be joining the Aurors a year late. Her friends would be doing their training as well, but her name was the first among their group.
Now, she was going back home. As a full-fledged Auror. She was proud of herself. She was sure that the others would be equally proud of her, especially her brother. Now, she would be working directly under him.
She was eager to return to Britain. Not just for this particular reason. She had done it. She had retrieved a list of all the insiders in the Auror department just like Harry had asked. He had asked her help to gain this information and Amelia had retrieved seventy such names that were the Dark Lord's inside men.
She had to give this information to her brother and Harry. She would have informed them before, but she thought better of it.
Her brother would have surely informed Moody of this and they would have been weeded out, alerting the rest of them. It would be more difficult to find them after that.
Amelia considered herself to be very lucky that she had been put under training under one of the senior aurors she had doubts on. Suffice to say, she had been successful in her attempts and now, there was just one last thing to do.
She had decided to take a portkey at the ministry and she left from the dingy apartment that she used to stay in and began the walk to the ministry. She was just a few minutes away from the ministry when she felt someone following her.
She didn't turn around immediately, not wanting to alert whoever it was that followed her. She quickened her steps all the while cautiously waiting for any spell fire.
What nobody knew was that Amelia Bones was an animagus. She had taken it upon herself as a secret project and had practiced the transformation. To date, this was her second greatest achievement. The first one, is and will always be her friendship with Harry.
She wouldn't say it out loud to anyone and she might be branded as a crazy person, but she thanked Tom everyday. It was because of him that she now had Harry, Bellatrix, Narcissa, Lily and the others.
She turned a corner and applied a disillusionment charm. She silenced her feet and breathing as she molded into the corner of the store right next to the turn she had taken. She waited to see who it was and she noticed two men walking right in front of her.
She knew who they were. The sandy blonde haired, muscular build tall wizard. 'The Balkan Butcher' was what they called him. Antonin Dolohov. A legendary duelist and Voldemort's inner circle member. His most feared warrior.
The other person was the second in command for the Auror corps, right behind Alastor Moody.
Oscar Bennet. He is the person who recruited for the Dark Lord within the Auror corps. Many would be surprised to see the man to be in the Dark Lord's pockets. She herself found it hard to believe in the beginning, but now it made sense why Azkaban fell out of the control of the Ministry so easily.
Lot of the Dark Lord's supporters are noble families that have a seat on the Wizengamot, but that did cover a lot of newly cropped up Pureblood families and among that, the Bennets were extremely popular. There were discussions of including this family into the Wizengamot. They were a surprisingly neutral family, with Arthur Bennet remaining a very neutral man, working his way up in the Ministry. The man was respected among the light families as well.
"She better not escape, Dolohov. If the Dark Lord loses support from within the Ministry, we are as good as dead." Bennet pointed out, his eyes searching for the girl.
The blonde brute calmly gazed at his surroundings, his eyes taking in every detail. The Bulgarian hummed and spoke, his thick accent prominent as he spoke.
"I would like to see the girl try and escape." His voice sent shivers down the girl's spine.
She wasn't scared of him, but the man was a pig. He was a curse for human kind as much as he was powerful. A very wrong combination.
He is merciless in his killings. He cares for none. He cuts down people, literally and that would certainly bring fear to the one facing him.
The two men looked around and walked ahead, continuing their search. Amelia heaved a sigh of relief and tried to step away from the place, but walked straight into a bin.
The two men were instantly on guard as they saw a dust bin go down. They were pretty sure that there was no one over there. Dolohov's eyes hardened. He raised his wand and to Amelia's shock, fired killing curses in quick succession. She had no choice but to blow her cover.
"That was a very good Disillusionment charm." The man praised, his eyes shining mischievously that unsettled Amelia for some reason. She gripped her wand hard as the two men walked forward, almost like toying with their prey.
"Haven't mummy and daddy taught you that peeping, and prodding is a bad thing, little girl?" Dolohov questioned, his voice carrying a joking lilt.
"You must not interfere in matters that have no concern with you, Ms. Bones. That is a very bad thing." Dolohov sent forth curses with blistering speed and Amelia was on the back foot immediately. She held her nerve though, stepping out of the way of the spells, and sending a few of her own spells. She was up against two deadly opponents and this was not a training session anymore. They were fighting to kill.
She evaded a few spells and conjured a wall in front of her to take cover. She knew it would not hold for long and she had to get away before they blast the wall. She closed her eyes and the next second, she was in her animagus form of a kneazle. She darted away from the wall and raced away to the side of the building close to her. She waited for the men to notice that she had escaped.
The two men blasted the wall and raced towards the alley, searching for the girl.
"She seemed to have escaped." Bennet muttered. "We are finished."
Dolohov's eyebrows converged as he was thinking about something.
"I don't think that she has escaped. No. Search." He ordered gruffly and they walked deeper into the alley.
Amelia waited for the two men to separate their ways. The moment the two of them were split up, she jumped out of her hiding place and followed Bennet. She didn't make a noise as she kept quiet and jumped from shadow to shadow.
She waited for the opportune moment to jump in and right when the man had given up, she attacked. The first thing she wanted to do was escape from these men. Now, she had to fight. She would not let Harry fight every fight for her. She was an Auror now and it was time to step up. She had to leave all those days when she was too soft behind.
She reverted back to her human form and her wand was instantly in her hand as she threw curses at the man.
Bennet, who had become lax in his attention thinking that the girl had escaped, was taken by surprise when he turned around to see spells soaring his way. He hastily brought up a shield, but before the shield could be powered up, Amelia's spells had overpowered the shield, breaking it down. She watched as the disarmer she had sneaked, snatched the wand away from the man's hand.
She didn't waste any time as she threw an overpowered cutting curse right at his torso. She watched grimly as the man's torso was cut open and he began bleeding as he fell to the ground.
"Traitor!" Amelia spat with so much venom that she was surprised herself.
"That was sneaky, Red." Amelia whirled around only to be faced with a wand to her face.
"Ah…ah…. not so quick, Red." Dolohov chuckled, his eyes having a cruel glint in his eyes.
"Drop your wand, Red." He whispered into her ear, kissing the side of her neck while he did so.
Amelia jumped back away from him in revulsion.
But the man had a firm grip on her hair.
"Drop it." He growled once more.
Amelia slowly dropped her wand, not wanting to do anything hasty. She tried to get him to release her hair, but the man was unwilling to let her go.
"Let go!" She growled but the man laughed as he pushed her to a wall. He grabbed her breasts from behind and squeezed hard all the while laughing heartily.
"It's been three weeks since I had a good lay." He started, fondling her clothed breasts.
"Stop it!" She screamed as she struggled with his grip, all the while thinking of escaping from him. She had a plan, but all she needed was a lapse in his concentration.
"Don't worry Darling. We will be done very quickly." He muttered,
His hands traveled into her skirt and Amelia seized her chance.
Dolohov screamed in pain as he jumped away from the woman. He raised his hand to see that he was missing his right wrist. Blood sprouted from his chopped-up wrist and rained down.
"You bitch!" He roared as he went for the wand that was clutched in his fallen wrist, but Amelia was quicker this time. She blasted his fingers with a spell, making the man scream again. She watched in satisfaction as the man writhed on the floor in pain.
"You bastards take satisfaction when the same things happen to all those innocents, don't you?" She questioned, her anger seeping out. "Can't take some pain, Mr. Dolohov?" She questioned sarcastically.
"I was trained by the best of the best, Dolohov. Don't forget that I come from a family that is bigger than you and your Dark Lord combined." She pointed out.
"It is a good thing that Harry Potter didn't get to see what you did to me. You would be worse for wear and probably would have lost your balls. I was trained by the person that would put that Dark Lord of yours six feet under the ground. I have to be good." She pointed his wand at his neck and within seconds, his head came clean off his body.
Amelia sat down crouched against a wall, her body shaking slightly as the situation sunk in and the adrenaline died down. She felt weird. She felt different. She felt something in her change. She needed to go back and go back now.
She hoped that Harry would understand.
—-&&&--
Harry was in his room. He was tired from the day. It was a very big day. A lot of things that were too much for his head. He had almost died and returned to living, he fought against Tom, made sure he let him off with a parting gift as well. He proposed. He proposed to the two of them.
He still couldn't believe that of all the things that had happened today, this was the one that had him most worried. He could never forget that elation when they said yes. He was on top of the world.
He heard the door open and close. He sat up and he was greeted to the sight of Andromeda and Nymphadora standing there.
"Andi?" He smiled at the girl.
Andromeda placed a sleeping Nymphadora on a newly conjured crib right next to the bed.
She then gathered Harry in a tight hug. "I am so glad to see you." She whispered.
Harry hugged her back and smiled into the hug. "Thank you."
"She has not been the same since you didn't greet her every morning, you know?"
She whispered pointing out to Nymphadora.
"She missed you." Harry glanced over to the sleeping baby and smiled. Dora was as good as his daughter. He didn't think others saw it the same way, but when that little girl was around, Harry would be wrapped around her little finger.
He was pulled from his thoughts by Andromeda. He stared into her eyes and was surprised to see a flame in them. A similar flame that he had come to see in her sisters.
She captured his lips in a heated kiss taking him slightly by surprise. Harry responded in the same enthusiasm for a while. The two pulled back.
"I have not been the same without you around." She whispered.
"I wanted this for a long time. I can't deny this for myself anymore." She removed her robes and Harry's breath caught in his throat as he watched her bra-clad figure.
She had the biggest pair of breasts among the sisters and her body seemed a lot more mature than the other two. He couldn't deny his attraction to the young woman.
She reached behind her back to remove her bra but Harry stopped the girl.
"Andi. Please don't." He requested.
Andromeda was actually hurt. She didn't understand why he was telling her to stop and she became annoyed.
"Why not?" She questioned heatedly.
"I don't want to do this Andromeda." He said calmly.
Andromeda couldn't stop the anger from showing.
"Oh, why not? I am used goods. Tainted. Why will you need me when you have two other girls to yourself?" She snapped.
"It was a mistake." She sighed, shaking her head as tears flowed freely.
She made to move away when she was pulled back by Harry.
He kissed her hard, with surprising intensity. Andromeda was surprised when he grabbed her bottom, and began to knead it. She felt her body react to his advances and she started grinding against him.
Harry pulled back and his eyes were alight with that familiar green.
"You have any fucking idea what you do to me? Do you have any idea how desirable you are?" He questioned; his voice raised.
"But you are acting with haste." He added.
"Let's go on dates Andromeda. Let's give it time, to get ourselves to become something more than just this." He added.
"We have a lot of time and from the ordeal that you had suffered, jumping straight into bed is just not right." He explained.
Andromeda nodded and smiled.
"Thank you." She whispered.
Harry chuckled. "Why are you thanking me?" He asked.
"It is the right thing to do."
The door to his room opened once more and the other two sisters walked in before stopping in their tracks.
"Okay. Just what is happening here?" Bellatrix questioned seeing Andromeda half naked and in Harry's embrace.
Harry jumped back. "This is not what you are thinking?" He defended himself.
"Nothing happened. It was just a kiss. I swear." Harry defended quickly, not wanting to anger the two women. The three Black sisters looked at one another and began to giggle at the situation that they stood in.
"Oh, don't worry, Harry." Narcissa cooed as she stroked his cheek.
"We won't kill you." She assured.
Harry stared at the girl. "Kill? You were planning to kill?" He asked incredulously.
"Of course. How will an engaged woman feel when she sees you half naked with her sister?" She questioned.
"But…but…" He stuttered when Bellatrix took pity on him.
"Oh, be quiet, Cissy. We knew that Andromeda was here, Harry. We sent her." She explained taking him by surprise.
"Andromeda is crazy about you, Harry. And we can see that you are interested in her as well. So, we thought that we could give her a chance with you, but that will be just that. If there is any other woman, I will make sure the Peverell family will not continue." She whispered threateningly.
Harry could only nod dumbly at the warning. Everything might not work swimmingly with Andromeda, but he would give it time. He was pretty sure that things would be interesting between the four of them.
The four were distracted by Dora, who chose that moment to wake up. Harry was instantly up to the girl and picked her up. Dora stopped crying when he picked her up and she squealed in delight when she saw that it was Harry. She clapped her hands happily and tried to hug Harry.
"Hey, Dora. How are you?" Harry whispered as he hugged the little girl.
"It seems like you missed me." He chuckled.
The Black females smiled happily at the scene. The two of them were just so cute together. Harry was Dora's absolute favorite.
"Dada…" Harry and the girls froze when a small voice whispered that. Harry looked back at the girl who was staring at him with wide green eyes. His eyes.
"Dada." She squealed happily as she clapped her hands.
Harry looked back at the girls who were as surprised as he was, especially Andromeda.
"Did she just…" He questioned and he received nods.
"Dada." Little Dora called out once more.
"Yes, she just did." Harry chuckled. He threw the girl into the air and caught her back which had the little girl squealing and shrieking in joy. He then hugged her with a smile and kissed the crown of her head.
"Yes, Dora. You will be daddy's little girl." He whispered.
"You will be my little girl." He said and sat down on the bed with a very content smile on his face.
