"Mmmm…ohhhh…yes…" Arizona's words trailed off as she experienced what felt like thousands of volts of electricity coursing through her muscles causing her entire body to convulse. She rolled her head back and moaned, trying to control her breathing and suck in at least enough oxygen to clear her brain and allow her to have a complete thought. The moment she felt as if her soul had returned to her body, that ever-so-talented tongue licked up the length of her sex and flicked at her sensitive clit, sending another shockwave of pleasurable pain rippling through every nerve of her body causing her hips to rise off the bed and provoking a low growl from somewhere deep within. Summoning the last bit of strength she had, the blonde lifted her hand and tapped on the head of unruly black curls that seemed content to stay right where it was between her legs. Arizona drew in a deep breath and her voice cracked as she surrendered, "Cal…Callie…okay…I can't…no more…come up here please." Closing her eyes, the blonde tried to clear the haze from her mind while still seeing small bursts of light behind her eyelids. She hummed in satisfaction as she felt Callie's slick, overheated skin rub against hers while slowly sliding up her body dropping soft wet kisses along the way. When she finally felt Callie's weight on top of her, instantly grounding her and bringing her back to safety, she wrapped her arms around her waist as she reveled in her post orgasmic bliss.

Settling herself fully atop the smaller woman, Callie rested on her left forearm, brushed damp blonde curls off Arizona's sweaty forehead then leaned down and took her lips in a long languorous kiss. Pulling back, she looked into sparkling blue eyes, and asked, "You okay?" Arizona blew out a breath and exclaimed, "That was…WOW! It's like I can still feel it." Callie chuckled and agreed, "I told you, now you see why I needed you to drive." The blonde tilted her head and responded, "Mmmhmm, but you had an unfair advantage, you have a middle name, otherwise we were even at 14 letters each." Callie smirked and said, "I doubt I would have survived if you had a middle name. But I'm pretty sure this is the first time in my life I was ever happy about being named after my abuela." Arizona laughed, lifted her hand to caress a flush tan cheek and replied, "I've always loved your name, but I must say, I have a whole new appreciation for it now." Callie chuckled and leaned in to steal a kiss from dry pink lips as the two settled into a comfortable silence and cuddled together.

While she tried to cool her own libido, which always went into overdrive when she had her mouth on her sexy blonde, Callie realized that Arizona spoke as if this was the first time she had ever tried or experienced this new little move. Narrowing her eyes in suspicion, she asked, "Where did you learn that trick anyway?" Seeing the blush that immediately rose up flawless alabaster skin, Callie howled with laughter and accused, "You still read that garbage?" Arizona scowled and defended, "That garbage gave you a black-out orgasm. More than once might I add." Callie leaned back in shock and asked, "Do you mean to tell me some of Arizona Robbins' signature moves came from a trashy romance novel?" Arizona laughed and admitted, "I put my own spin on them, but…I may have stolen an idea or two." Callie chuckled and teased, "I guess I can't knock it if I'm reaping the benefits can I?" Arizona leaned forward and murmured against her lips, "Oh, there's plenty more where that came from." Still highly aroused from pleasuring her girlfriend, Callie's interest was quickly peaked as she nibbled on a plump pink lip and husked out, "Is that so?" Arizona rolled her hips so their mounds rubbed together and suggested, "I've read a lot of books in the past four years Calliope."

Callie groaned as her sex brushed against Arizona's causing her to roll her own hips in response. Despite the fact that they came home, fell right into bed, and have been going at it like bunnies for the last couple of hours, she still can't get enough of the woman beneath her. Looking down into darkening blue eyes, she recognized Arizona's movements didn't leave her unaffected. Leaning in at the same time, both women captured each other's lips in a long sensual kiss. Arizona shifted her lower body so they were each straddling the strong muscular thigh of the other. Her eyes rolled back as Callie's heated skin parted her swollen lower lips and she moaned in pleasure as she felt her girlfriend's moisture covering her own leg. Arizona lowered her hand from strong tan shoulders to gently scrape her nails up and down the slick skin of Callie's back before resting on her tight ass squeezing none too gently to encourage her to increase her pace. Callie broke the kiss on a gasp as her clit finally made contact with Arizona's leg. That sensation along with Arizona digging her nails into her ass caused her to speed up the movements of both her own hips and the thigh that was currently grinding into her girlfriend's soaked mound. She slid her left arm under Arizona's back and wrapped her fingers around her shoulder for leverage as she lowered her right arm to caress Arizona's shortened leg then lifted it to rest on her hip opening the smaller woman up even more. Sliding her hand up the back of Arizona's thigh, she used her forearm to keep the limb in place while her hand rubbed and caressed her sweet ass, curling her fingers into the crease eliciting a moan from the woman beneath her. Callie lowered her head and nipped at Arizona's soft earlobe then soothed it with her tongue as she continued to thrust her thigh between trembling pale legs.

Arizona's eyelids fluttered as their breasts rubbed together adding friction to her tight hardened nipples and she felt the familiar tingling in her stomach and burning in her lungs. She knew it wouldn't take her long since she was still sensitive, but she wanted them to come together this time, she wanted to take Callie over the edge with her, so she lowered her right hand and slid it between her girlfriend's dripping mound and her own thigh that was slick with arousal. Parting Callie's outer lips with her first and third fingers, Arizona bent her middle finger upward and made a come hither motion flicking the tip back and forth across the swollen bundle of nerves as Callie started to buck her hips and thrust harder against Arizona's sex with her powerful thigh. Callie dropped her forehead on Arizona's shoulder and let out a keening wail as she encouraged, "Yes baby, right there. I'm so close." Arizona was barely holding on, feeling Callie's body start to tremble above her, she turned her head and licked the shell of her ear as she whispered, "Together, look at me honey." Just as Callie looked up into mesmerizing sapphire blue eyes, she felt Arizona's fingers push down on her tight nub, forcing a loud, "FUUUCK YES ARRRIIIIZZZZOOONNNA!" from her lungs as her entire body stiffened then convulsed making her rub against Arizona's clit relentlessly, pushing her over the edge into her own euphoria as she screamed out, "CAAAALLLIIIIEEEEE." Never breaking eye contact, both women continued to roll their hips, tremble, and moan out their pleasure until they were both spent and collapsed in a heap of tangled limbs struggling for much needed air. The brunette rolled them to their sides as she kept her focus on the ocean colored eyes that were filled with love just for her. Leaning forward, she kissed Arizona softly then shifted to her back, pulled the blonde with her, and tucked her head under her chin while Arizona reached behind her for the sheet to cover their cooling bodies.

After she caught her breath and came back to her senses, Callie kissed the top of Arizona's head, stroked her back, and finally asked, "Do you need to talk about what happened today?" Arizona closed her eyes enjoying the sensation of Callie rubbing her back and debated on whether or not she needed to talk about it. Finally, she decided it would be best to share her feelings with her girlfriend and just maybe, Callie needed to talk about it too. Sighing, she sat up on her elbow, looked Callie in the eye and admitted, "It killed me to see someone else with their hands on you. The way she looked at you and talked to you…and she was pretty, and…I wanted to hit her with a brick, or my leg, or…something." Callie chuckled then tilted her head to study the blonde's face, reached up and tucked a soft curl behind her ear and asked, "Did you think I was interested in her?" Arizona bit her bottom lip then answered honestly, "Not now, but initially, when she first started talking about you, I thought maybe you dated her or you two flirted with each other or something, but then I remembered you told me you didn't' date after…and realized you didn't even know her name…but, by then I was so worked up and I just…" Arizona trailed off, sighed heavily, and dropped her gaze to the charm resting on Callie's chest. The charm that meant they belonged to each other, owned each other's hearts, shared each other's souls.

She brought her hand up and held the tiny heart between her thumb and forefinger, staring at it intently as she explained, "For months…I stood by and watched you with someone else and each time, it broke my heart but I didn't have the right to say anything. I lost the right to say anything, so I pretended to be happy for you. But I have the right now, and I don't want anyone touching you but me. I want you happy, but I want to be the one to make you happy." Callie could feel the tears burning her eyes, she couldn't imagine seeing Arizona with someone else. She finally admitted to Dr. G part of the reason she rushed into things with Penny was because she couldn't bare seeing her ex-wife move on first and thought if she had someone else when that happened, it wouldn't hurt so bad. But it never occurred to her that Arizona might be hurting, she always seemed fine with it, now she knew why. Leaning forward she placed a chaste kiss on Arizona's lips and confirmed, "You do have that right. Only you Arizona. I only want you touching me, you thinking about me, or looking at me that way. I'm the happiest when I am with you, I always have been and no one will ever make me as happy as you do. I'm so sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry I wasn't more considerate." Arizona shook her head and argued, "That's not why I told you that honey, we already apologized, no more apologies for that. I just…I think that's why I got so jealous." Callie kissed her again and teased, "For the record…jealous Arizona? Totally hot."

Arizona could feel the blush creeping up her neck, the embarrassment from her earlier behavior finally kicking in, shaking her head she replied, "You might think so, but I made an ass of myself." Callie laughed and assured, "Oh baby, the only person who looked like an ass after you got done was that drug rep." Feeling better, Arizona laughed and said, "Thank you." Callie nodded, whispered, "Thank you for defending my honor." then leaned forward for a longer, deeper kiss. Deciding to share her own thoughts, Callie admitted, "I never want to cause you that pain again, you don't have to worry about me looking at or seeing anyone but you. But I don't want to lie to you and I don't want to make light of this, because honestly Arizona, it felt good. It felt good to know that you are so protective of me, of us, that you will stand up and fight for what we have. I can guarantee you, if she would have been pawing at you like that…well, it's a damn good thing my center is across the lot because she would have needed it. You're mine and I'm never giving you up." Arizona smiled at this, she understood what Callie meant now, even with no threat, jealous Callie was hot. Lifting her hand to run through the short tuft of hair that was now standing up all over the place, Arizona tugged lightly so their lips were nearly touching and murmured, "Yours, only yours." She then swiped her tongue across Callie's plump lip and moaned when it was immediately granted access.

When the kiss ended naturally, Callie wondered if this was a good time to bring up the thing that had been lingering at the back of her mind since the little scene with the drug rep. Honestly, it had been a recurring thing lately, she almost said it this morning, Arizona did say it and implied it the other day when talking about their phone plan, Barb said it, her own father said it, even the stranger from the clothing store said it and she couldn't deny that it gave her a little thrill every single time. But she was scared to mention it because she left, she broke her promise. Finally deciding she needed to know for certain, she licked her lips nervously then whispered, "You called me your wife." Arizona was waiting for this conversation, in fact, she was going to bring it up on their date tomorrow night. Though she worried that it might be too soon given that they hadn't been back together for a month, and it would be in a normal situation, she knew it was necessary for them to discuss the possibility. She smiled softly, slid her hand to Callie's flush cheek and confirmed, "I did." Callie kissed her softly, she was hoping for more, but she knew sometimes she had to coax these things from the blonde carefully, but she didn't get the chance as Arizona continued, "I could lie and say it was habit, but you and I both know it's been four years and that's not the case." Callie nodded, relieved to hear that it was intentional. She scooted back a little so she could see Arizona's face more clearly and asked, "Is that…is that something you think about?" Arizona tilted her head to study Callie's face; she could tell that she was doing her best to maintain eye contact though the slight indentation of her bottom lip was a telltale sign that she was biting the skin there out of nervousness. Looking into the dark chocolate pools swirling with insecurity, she realized in that moment just how important her answer, the right answer was to her girlfriend.

Arizona slid her hand down Callie's arm, over her left hand and brought it up between them. She moved her fingers and rubbed the tan ring finger exactly where a wedding band would go. She thought carefully about her wording, focused on the finger, took a deep breath and said, "It is something I have thought about since the day I first laid eyes on you. It used to scare me to death. The thought, the idea, made me run more than once. The notion that I loved another person so much that I could only see myself with them for the rest of my life…I fought it, but it never mattered, my heart belonged to you. Being your wife, being married to Calliope Torres, was one of the greatest accomplishments, one of the highest honors in my life. I took it for granted and I ruined it and I will forever regret that. We've gone through hell, we've put each other through hell, still…after everything…it's the one thing I want more than anything in this world. The idea of spending my life with the same person doesn't scare me as much as the idea of spending the rest of my life without you. I've done that, I don't want to do that anymore. So yes, I've thought about it, I think about it, I already feel it in my heart. Someday, when the time is right, I will ask you to marry me, or you will ask me to marry you, and you will say yes, or I will say yes, because we belong together Calliope Torres." Looking up through tear-filled eyes, she could see from Callie's tears, the expression on her face that she said the right thing. She was almost certain they were on the same page, but her heart was racing and her palms were sweating because Callie had walked away, Callie felt stuck. She knew now that her wife felt stuck and suffocated by the never-ending cycle of pain, still, she caused it. She stayed quiet and did her best to stay calm as she awaited a response.

As Callie listened to Arizona's words, she felt the wings of a thousand butterflies fluttering around in her stomach, her heart was racing and her nerves were tingling throughout her body. She knew this wasn't a proposal, but it was a promise, one she wasn't expecting even though she brought it up. But it was more than that, it was the most raw, the most authentic Arizona had ever been with her. There were times this very topic would make the blonde run and hide, she admitted it herself, but here she was, not hiding, but declaring that it would happen. Breathing out a sob, she linked their hands together and revealed, "I used to think the universe was against us, that every time we got close, every time we were happy, something always came and took that away. Sometimes I was convinced we just weren't meant to be. But what I didn't see, what I didn't focus on, was the fact that we always came back, we always found our way back and now I see, now I understand, we were made for each other. We both fought it at times, but it didn't matter because our hearts knew, our souls knew, and now, we know. I've done many things in my life to be happy about, to be proud of, but none of that compared to how I felt when I had the right to say I was married to Arizona Robbins. I did my part in ruining that too, I was the one to walk away. I hate that I did it, that I caused us both so much pain, but it brought us here. So yes, someday…someday soon, when we have finished rebuilding our foundation, when we are certain we can weather any storm, I will ask you, or you will ask me, and one of us will say yes and we will spend the rest of our lives with each other as wives because we do belong together Arizona Robbins." Needing no more words, both women were content knowing for certain exactly where they stood and sealed their promise with a long sensual kiss, feeling the love of the other woman seep into their soul.

As hands started to roam and their passion was reignited, they heard the vibration of a phone on the bedside table. Both women groaned at the intrusion, but knew it was probably Maria who still had their daughter. Callie leaned in for another kiss then reached out to catch the device which was slowly dancing its way to the edge of the table. Seeing it was hers, she unlocked the screen and read the message that was indeed sent by her head nurse, laughed out loud, and repeated the words on the screen for Arizona, "This is your one hour notice, so stop having hot monkey sex and take a shower." Arizona chuckled and asked, "Are you sure she's not related to Christina?" Callie laughed, tossed her phone on the bed, took Arizona in her arms, and answered, "Nah, Christina wouldn't tell us she was coming, she'd just burst through the door." Arizona thought about the number of times they were walked in on by Christina, Mark, Owen, and Lexie, chuckled then shook her head and declared, "True, it's a wonder we had such a healthy sex life as much as we were interrupted." Callie looked around, smiled lasciviously and replied, "There's no one around now and we still have an hour." Arizona narrowed her eyes and licked her lips as she agreed, "That's true, but we do need to shower, we smell like sex." The brunette tilted her head and suggested, "There's nothing keeping us from having hot monkey sex in the shower." Arizona wrapped her hand around the back of Callie's head, pulled her in for a deep searing kiss and murmured, "I like the way you think Dr. Torres." Without further discussion, Callie rolled off the bed, stood up, turned and scooped Arizona into her arms provoking the same adorable squeal she always got, then headed into their en-suite where they did indeed take up the better part of an hour in the shower pleasing and bathing one another.

Callie was at the door collecting their take-out order from the delivery man when Maria pulled into the driveway to drop off Sofia. Fortunately, she had the wherewithal to call in the order before their shower because she was now starving. Hearing Arizona's crutches on the hardwood floor from somewhere behind her, she placed the food in the foyer, tipped the driver, then walked outside to collect her daughter. She didn't want to be rude to her friend and Arizona seemed to be okay with her knowing about her leg, but she didn't know her feelings on letting other people see her without her prosthetic. Not now anyway, but before, it was an absolute no-no. She was slightly relieved to see it didn't look like Maria intended on staying as she kept her car running while Sofia let herself out of the car. Leaning into the driver's side window, she offered, "Thank you for keeping her for a while." Maria smirked and lowered her voice as she said, "You just remember this when Miguel and I need some time to get freaky." Callie laughed and replied, "We'd love to have Bella anytime, just say the word. But not tomorrow night, we have our first date." The nurse laughed and returned, "Doing things a little backward aren't you?" Callie shrugged and responded, "Hey, it works for us." Maria smiled and answered, "That it does. I wish I could stay and chat, but Miguel is waiting for us with dinner. He cooked!" Callie nodded and replied, "Wow! Okay, be safe, thanks again for picking her up." She then walked toward the house where she could already hear her daughter regaling her other mother with the goings on of the week.

Sitting at the table, Arizona added a spoonful of sweet and sour chicken to her daughter's plate as the little girl who barely took a breath told her about everything she missed. "And Jessica said I was spending the night with her tomorrow and on Sunday we are all invited to the Central Park Zoo. Can we go to the zoo? We haven't been yet and it's on our list of things to do and mama said I could take the bandage off now and I'm all better. See?" Sofia rambled as she held up her hand for her mommy to examine. Arizona deposited the spoon into the container and carefully took the little hand in hers to look at the healed injury. Smiling she offered, "Well, mama's the expert on bones, so if she says you're all healed, then I think we can trust her." She looked up and winked at her girlfriend who was just walking into the kitchen then asked, "What's this about the zoo?" Callie took her place at the table, opened the containers to find the cashew chicken and began scooping it on the rice Arizona had already served, and explained, "Tracy, one of the people I met a couple of weeks ago is a caretaker at the zoo and they got a bunch of special passes for family day this Sunday and offered them to those of us with kids because they don't have a family of their own. Stevie told me about it last night when I called to make a hair appointment, which is tomorrow when I drop off the princess, by the way." Arizona nodded and replied, "Sounds like fun. Are we going?" Callie tilted her head and replied, "I didn't answer yet, I wanted to see what you had planned and well, we got umm…distracted today and I forgot about it."

Hearing Callie's answer made Arizona's heart soar. She knew it might seem ridiculous, but this was a big issue for them and the fact that her girlfriend didn't just make that decision on her own meant a great deal. Passing Sofia's plate over, she reached out to grab the container of beef and broccoli only to notice Callie was already making her plate for her. Taking her hand once she set the container down, she gave it a tight squeeze as a silent thank you then asked, "Well, since I got to plan tomorrow, I think it's only fair that you plan Sunday, so what do you think?" Callie took a bite of her chicken and replied, "I think it would be fun too. I'd like you to meet everybody and it sounds like they'll all be there. Maybe we can meet up with them and hang out for a while." Arizona nodded and said, "Well, there's your answer Sof, we can cross the zoo off our list as well." Sofia took a drink of her juice, swallowed, and squealed out in excitement, "Yay! I love our family days." Both women chuckled at their daughter's silliness and continued to eat their meal.

The three talked through dinner, catching each other up on their respective weeks and talking about their weekend plans. Finishing up her dinner, Callie reached across the table to start packaging up the food and realized exactly how sore and achy her muscles were from their activities earlier in the day. Looking up, she saw the crutches leaning against the nearby wall and remembered Arizona hadn't put her prosthetic back on, which was always an indicator of the blonde's pain or discomfort. Even at home with just the three of them, she rarely went without her artificial limb because she hated being reminded of her limitations. Leaning back in her chair, she suggested, "It's still pretty warm outside and the sun won't go down for a while yet, what do you two say to an evening swim?" Sofia's answer was clear as she bounced from her chair, cleared her plate, put it in the sink, and rushed from the room singing, "We're going swimming." Arizona laughed at the little girl, shook her head and declared, "I swear she's part fish. That's all you." Callie smiled, collected their dishes and carried them to the sink as she asked, "How about you? You want to take a swim?" Arizona pulled herself up and smiled when she looked up to see Callie by her side holding her crutches out for her. Instead of taking the crutches, she wrapped her arms around the taller woman's waist and leaned into her body to steal a quick kiss then replied, "That sounds heavenly, I'm a little sore." Callie kissed her nose and replied, "Me too, you wore me out today, that's why I suggested it. Maybe the water will help us loosen up a little." Arizona lifted her hand to brush her fingers through the soft stubble at the side of Callie's head and teased, "And I thought you were just trying to see me in that skimpy little bikini you bought for me." Callie pulled back, blatantly looked Arizona up and down, wiggled her eyebrows, licked her lips and replied, "Always! Any time I can get the chance to see you in as little as possible, I will take it." Arizona threw her head back and laughed then squealed when Callie pinched her ass and said, "Go get ready, I'll put this away really quick then come join you." Arizona kissed her again, hard and quick, took her crutches and made her way to their bedroom.

Sofia was standing by the side of the pool holding her life jacket in her hand staring at it in disgust. Her mama had been giving her swimming lessons and she was getting pretty good and didn't understand why she still had to wear the stupid thing. She liked to dunk her head and go under water and this wouldn't let her do that. As soon as her moms opened the door and stepped outside, she pounced, "Do I have to keep wearing this? I can swim and I know the rules and I'll be safe." She was relieved when her parents didn't instantly say no but just looked at each other. She didn't know what they were doing or how they did it, but whenever they looked at each other like that, without saying anything, one of them would always nod then the other would give her the answer. Mama would raise her eyebrow…like she just did, mommy would squint her eyes…like she just did, but this time her gaze dropped down then over to the water then back to mama, maybe one of them would frown or shake their head, but this time, they both were smiling so that was a good sign. Finally, mama nodded and mommy said, "You can swim without it only if we are both out here or if you are alone with mama, or me when I have my leg on. But if you and I are alone and I have my leg off, I need you to wear it, okay?" Sofia didn't really understand why the leg made a difference, her mommy could do everything someone with two legs did, both of her moms were awesome and strong and could do anything.

Seeing the confusion in her daughter's face and the slight blush creep up Arizona's neck, Callie squatted down, held out her hands for her daughter to take and explained, "Sof, you and I, we both know mommy is amazing and can do everything she sets her mind to. But she is worried if you are in the pool and she isn't and something happens, you could slip or hit your head or something, she's concerned that she couldn't get to you as quickly with her crutches as she could with two legs." Sofia looked at her mommy who was leaning on her crutches and when she looked up, saw that she was biting her bottom lip and looking at the ground which meant she didn't like talking about this. Sofia looked at the crutches and realized they weren't as stable and mommy moved fast with them, she was really good with them, but maybe not as fast as she would need to be in an emergency. But still, she didn't want her mommy to feel bad for something that wasn't her fault. Nodding her head, she agreed, "I can do that. The deck by the pool gets slippery and then it wouldn't be safe for mommy too and I don't want mommy to get hurt either." She wasn't sure what she said to deserve it, but both moms gave her their special smiles and leaned down to hug her tightly then mama patted her on her bottom, which she hated cuz she wasn't a baby, and told her to go have fun.

Walking to the edge of the pool, Callie took Arizona's crutches then helped her ease herself down until she was sitting on the edge dangling her leg over the side. Callie set the crutches nearby and settled herself next to Arizona sighing in relief as the cool water lapped around her achy legs. Arizona leaned into Callie and offered, "Oh man this feels good. I've almost forgotten how sore this leg gets sometimes. With the robotic leg, my residual limb hardly ever hurts at all anymore, but sometimes, I still overcompensate and this leg gets tired and achy." Callie reached out automatically and started kneading the muscles in Arizona's right thigh and asked, "Why haven't you ever said anything?" Arizona chuckled, reached out her hand and introduced, "Hi, I'm Arizona Robbins, have you met me?" Callie threw back her head and laughed heartily then responded, "That's right, stubborn as hell." Arizona nodded and explained, "It's usually nothing ibuprofen can't take care of, but I've been on it more than normal this week and thanks to you, I can wear any shoes I want, so it's my own fault." Callie nodded and suggested, "Maybe we should look into some gel inserts for your shoes." Arizona smiled then offered, "Or maybe my girlfriend can just give me massages every night." Callie smiled, slid into the pool, maneuvered herself so she was between Arizona's legs, placed one hand on each alabaster thigh and answered, "Mmm, I like that idea." Arizona leaned forward, put her hands on Callie's shoulders for balance and slid into the pool instantly wrapping her arms around her neck and kissed her sweetly then responded, "If you don't stop that, our daughter is going to see way more than she saw the other night." Callie groaned and lifted her head to respond when they were broken from their little bubble by Sofia calling out, "Mommies look at what I can do!"

Both women turned just in time to watch their daughter do a very ungraceful somersault in the water and clapped loudly when she reemerged. Arizona smiled at her and exclaimed, "Look at you big girl!" Callie walked them both to the shallow end where their daughter was, released Arizona when she felt the tap on her shoulder, and gave her daughter a high five saying, "Way to go Sof!" The little girl beamed at her moms and asked, "Can you do that?" Arizona bit the inside of her cheek, she used to be able to walk on her hands and do all sorts of things, but she wasn't so sure now. Part of her was afraid to try and fail, but a bigger part of her was afraid not to try. She had surprised herself so many times with things she didn't' think she could do. Looking to Callie, she was greeted with a smile and a nod, as she encouraged, "I'm right here." Arizona looked through the water and saw her residual limb then her intact leg, tried to determine how much power she would have to put behind the kick to get her leg in the air but not flip herself completely over, nodded her head, took a deep breath and lurched forward kicking off with her good leg. She was almost shocked to find that she was standing on her hands and hadn't flipped over yet. She could hear the muffled shouts of encouragement from under the water, then felt the gentle tap on her calf telling her to straighten her leg, then allowed herself just a couple more seconds to revel in the fact that she could still do it. Finally allowing her leg to tumble all the way over, Arizona rose from the water with a huge grin on her face to whoops and hollers from her own personal cheer section. Before she could catch her breath, she felt strong arms around her waist spinning her in circles. She nearly cried as she heard Callie's broken whisper, "I'm so proud of you." indicating her girlfriend was choked up or crying.

When she was finally put back down, she saw not one but two sets of brown eyes filled with tears of joy and pride for her. Holding out her arms, she said, "Oh my girls, come here." Both of her brunettes fell into her arms holding her tightly. It was in that moment, thinking not only of this but her entire day, that Arizona decided not to hold back any longer, no matter what it was, her family was here to encourage her, support her, and celebrate even the smallest of successes with her. Realizing it was getting a bit too emotional for a fun family swim, Arizona pulled back, smirked at Callie and challenged, "Top that Torres!" Seeing the sparkle in the bright blue eyes, Callie stood back, extended her arms in front of her, linked her fingers and cracked her knuckles then declared, "Prepare to be amazed." She then dove forward, touched the bottom of the pool, kicked her legs up and proceeded to walk the length of the pool until her entire body was submerged and she could no longer hold herself down. Popping back up, she turned to see her girlfriend and her daughter clapping loudly and bobbing up and down. She slicked her hair back and made her way to her family. When she reached them, she was nearly knocked down as they both threw their arms around her and told her how awesome that was. It's not like it was something big, but hearing this from her two loves made her heart swell. She had felt it before and hoped she would feel it a million times over, but this right here, this was her dream when she envisioned her future with Arizona all those years ago.

Seeing both of her parents walk on their hands, Sofia jumped up and down and asked, "Can I try? How do you do it?" After several minutes of both moms giving her pointers, Sofia decided it was time to try. Nodding her head just like her mommy, she said, "Okay, I'm ready!" Callie put her hand on her daughter's tummy and her lower back to help her flip and Arizona stood to the side prepared to grab a leg to help her balance. At the count of three, the little girl launched herself forward trying to remember everything she was told. She started to panic a little when mama let go of her, then she felt hands on both of her legs and felt brave again, she was able to take three steps with her hands before she slipped forward and her legs were lowered into the water by her moms. When she broke the surface of the water, both parents were screaming and clapping for her with huge smiles on their faces. She jumped into their open arms and giggled when she was sandwiched between the two people she loved most in the world. This was what she was missing and never knew it, having both moms happy and together with her. Kissing them both on their cheeks she declared, "I love you mommies." Both women looked at her softly and at the same time responded, "We love you too baby."

Callie sat in one corner of the deep end, arms resting on the sides of the pool, allowing her feet to float out in front of her. She was content just sitting there relaxing while watching Arizona and Sofia race from one side to the other and hold contests to see who could hold their breath the longest underwater. She watched as Arizona popped up out of the water just a half second before their daughter, pretending to be out of breath and praising the little girl. When their eyes met, the blonde winked and blew her a kiss, she almost couldn't wrap her mind around it. Sometimes it was so hard to believe this was the same woman she had married, the only thing she knew for certain was that the woman at the other end of the pool owned her. Which is why she needed just a few minutes to herself. She'd known since that first phone call that Arizona had changed, she'd seen glimpses of the old mixed with the new. She was being completely honest with Barb when she told her Arizona wasn't the same, she was better, she was healed, she had matured. But the Arizona she saw today, this woman was amazing and proved throughout the day how important her family was to her, not just through her words, but also through her actions. It wasn't just changing her hours or unleashing the green-eyed monster, it was how she was so honest with Sofia about her leg and worrying about her safety, something she herself hadn't even considered, it was how easily she shared about the pain she was feeling, it was how she put herself out there and tried and succeeded to stand on her hands, it was how happy and excited she got for her and Sofia doing something so simple. The thing that blew her mind though, that had her choked up still, was what she currently considered the greatest Arizona Robbins speech of all time. She'd known for the better part of two years, four, if she were being honest, that she wanted her wife back and to hear Arizona not only say that's what she wanted, but that's what would happen, it made her heart soar. Arizona Robbins wanted to marry her again. Just the thought had her smiling so hard her face hurt.

"What are you smiling so big about over here?" Arizona asked as she slowly made her way to her girlfriend. She had notice Callie watching them earlier then glanced back to see a far off look on her face as if she was deep in thought. When Sofia decided she was getting cold and ran inside to warm up and change, she started toward her girlfriend and watched the most beautiful smile bloom across her lips. As soon as she got close enough, Callie reached out with one arm, wrapped it around her waist and pulled her into her body while holding them both up with her other arm. Her heart melted when Callie kissed her softly and answered simply, "You." Arizona wrapped her arms around her neck, tilted her head in question and Callie explained, "I was just thinking about how amazing you are and how lucky I am to have found you." Arizona brushed their lips together, smirked, then replied, "Technically, I stalked you and followed you…twice." Callie laughed and retorted, "True, but I didn't put up much of a fight." Arizona ran her fingers through Callie's hair, kissed her again, lingering a little longer and said, "Something for which I am very grateful." Callie lowered her hand so it rested on the curve of Arizona's ass and hummed, "Mmm me too." She then bent her head and easily slipped her tongue between full pink lips getting just a hint of chlorine mixed with the rich taste of the wine they had with dinner.

As the kiss deepened, Arizona lowered her hands to Callie's shoulders, caressed her strong biceps, then moved inward placing her palms flat on the warm skin of her chest, slid them downward until she could feel the bottom of the black tankini top and slipped her fingertips underneath to roll the hardening nipples between her first and second fingers. She swallowed Callie's moan and returned with one of her own as she felt the strong hand that was resting on her back slide into her bikini bottoms as one finger slipped between her cheeks and started moving up and down slowly causing her to buck her hips as well. She gasped and nearly cried out as that fingertip circled the budded opening of her ass. Except for that one time in the bathtub, this was something they never explored and still hadn't discussed, but she realized now that she wasn't opposed to it and apparently her girlfriend wasn't either. Knowing how close she was to just taking the blonde right then and there, Callie kissed down her neck, nibbled on her pulse point and breathed out, "We need to stop." Arizona continued to pinch and roll her nipples even as she agreed, "We do." Remembering their daughter could walk out at any time, she sighed and pulled back, placing a chaste kiss on Callie's lips as they slid their hands from inside the other's swimsuit.

Turning them around, Callie lifted Arizona onto the edge then pulled herself up as well. After another brief kiss, she stood up, helped Arizona to a standing position and turned around saying, "Hop on." Arizona shook her head and started to argue, then realized it would give her the opportunity to feel Callie's skin on hers. She wrapped her arms around Callie's neck and hopped up laughing as Callie caught both thighs and moaned, "Oh God, maybe this was a bad idea I didn't think about the fact that you'd be spread eagle on my back." Arizona bent down, bit her earlobe and retorted, "I did. That's why I didn't argue." Callie groaned again, boosted her up and walked them both to the deck where she set the blonde down carefully on one of the loungers. Standing upright, she grabbed them both a towel then went back to the side of the pool for Arizona's crutches. As she reached the blonde once again, she noticed her staring at the pool and asked, "What's wrong?" Arizona tilted her head and asked, "Have we ever done it in a pool?" Surprised by this question, Callie looked at the glistening water and responded, "In a pool? No. In the ocean, a lake, that little pond near the dreamhouse, a bathtub, a hot tub, the shower, and that one time in the sauna when we went away for that conference, but umm nope, never in a pool." Arizona took the crutches, pulled herself up, smiled lasciviously and suggested, "Hmm we need to change that." As she made her way to the patio doors, Callie noticed that somehow, in a way she will never understand, the blonde still managed to swivel her hips provocatively even on crutches. Before going into the house, she looked back at the pool and just knew that she would be having sex in there before the weekend was over.

A/N: This was another case of the characters taking over the story, so here is a little steam, a little fluff, and a whole lot of Calzona. The first date is next. Trust me when I say, Arizona has BIG plans. Since I am off tomorrow, I will do my best to get that chapter out by tomorrow night.

The characters and anything referring to the show belong to Shonda.
