A/N: Naruto's wrong about what happened to Tenten.

Rin Nohara sat in her room, staring at the wall, wondering how she never fully realized what seduction would entail. How naive or blind could I have been?!

She had been running late for kunoichi class, having stopped to watch the boys' - and a certain boy, in particular - taijutsu practice, and stopped dead in her tracks at hearing Naruto-chan's crass yells.

"YOU HAVE GOTTA BE FREAKING KIDDING ME! I'M A FRONTLINE FIGHTER, LADY! IF YOU THINK FOR A MINUTE THAT I'M GONNA SPREAD MY LEGS AND LET SOME ASSHOLE STICK HIS PROBABLY STD-RIDDEN DICK IN ME, YOU CAN THINK AGAIN!"

Rin shivered at the memory, now considering Naruto's words more. She had always dreamt of being a Med Nin like Tsunade-hime and knew exactly what STDs were, but she doubted that some of her friends did. Although Naruto-chan made it pretty clear, I suppose. Maybe. Picking up one of her mother's old medical texts, she looked them up but quickly slammed the book shut at seeing the pictures that detailed the various diseases. Is this really the career I want?!

Rin had always dreamed of taking after her mom and even fulfilling the unfinished goals her mother rarely discussed. Her mother had been a kunoichi and had even trained with Tsunade-hime for a month, but her career had ended early when she blew out her chakra coils during the war. She stood up to ask her mother's advice but quickly sat back down again. What if - what if her mother had been on those types of missions? Did she really want to know? Would her mother even be willing to discuss it? Her mother was a gentle and kind woman, and Rin found it impossible to believe that a seduction mission wouldn't bother her. Rin considered Nohara Yasoshi to be so pure...

The rest of Naruto's words hovered in her mind, but honestly, the smaller girl's voice and shadowed face had scared her. Rin scolded herself: there was no way that Naruto-chan's eyes had turned red. Had they? She's not an Uchiha, and they were different from the Sharingan, anyway...

Not knowing who else to talk to about this embarrassing topic as well as Naruto's behavior, Rin left the house to go speak with the woman who taught Kunoichi Arts, Hitomi-sensei.

She passed Kakashi-kun walking away from the Academy, but couldn't even look at him this time. It was the first time the thought occurred to her, but maybe her feelings for the younger boy were just a childhood crush.

Embarrassment and the loss of innocence: Naruto was intimately familiar with those feelings in both timelines.

The blonde laid on the couch and sulked in the dark. What kind of world did they live in where little girls were asked and expected to do such things? How does no one see the inevitable harm or even the discrimination?! Maybe she really did need to become Hokage, after all, because this system of putting kunoichi in that additional kind of harm's way was Just. So. Wrong.

Hell, she felt it was wrong even for the adult population to be out trying to kill each other, but since coming so far back in time, she feared that she would have to do some of the worst of those shinobi missions, too. There was a more conventional war on the horizon and all, but she hated the idea of killing. One way or another, however, she had to not only protect those precious to her now but also those that would be born in the future. My old friends and comrades... Gods, how she missed them! Stupid Sasuke.

Kurama had explained that the reason that she was unfamiliar with seduction as part of their system was most likely because she was the known jinchuuriki in her past timeline as well as a clan heiress, even if she hadn't been truly aware of the latter in her past life. He also mentioned that she was a clueless moron, but knew that he was trying to lighten her mood. It didn't really work, but she appreciated the effort enough. Not to mention the fact that he's right about me not seeing it before...

Being a jinchuuriki meant being a front-line fighter, an "army killer." Being a clan heiress, Kurama said, meant that she would one day be expected to and possibly even forced to further her clan's line and manage it. The village couldn't accept that an heiress would be too hurt emotionally or physically after even one of those missions because they needed to provide for the future of their clans. That ultimately led to the village's future safety and security, Kurama thought the leadership believed. "That means that the leadership KNOWS how fucked those missions are, ne?" Kurama grunted back at her affirmatively.

"So Ino-chan didn't know about this stuff either." It's not like that made her feel any better. And she couldn't even imagine Sakura-chan going on missions like those. "Do you think there could have also been a provision like those - something that made Medic Nins not be forced to have to go on those missions? I mean, even in our past, we didn't have nearly enough Med Nins - and almost all of them were women."

"How would I know, brat?"

"Hai, hai." A memory flashed in her mind, and Naruto felt the bile rise to her throat. She could be wrong, but...

"Tenten-chan! Oi? Are you alright?" Naruto asked in worry after her friendly acquaintance just stared ahead of her while walking up the village's main thoroughfare, ignoring her completely. The blonde had just come back from her training trip with Jiraiya a few days before, and had been looking forward to getting together with Team 9 - or at least the two more outgoing members of the team, anyway.

"Please excuse Tenten, Naruto. We... had a difficult mission," Lee said in an uncharacteristically soft voice. "It is good to see you." He was lightly pushing his teammate forward with only his fingers on top of her shoulder blade.

"Mmm, okay! Take care of her Lee-kun! I really hope you're okay, Tenten! See ya soon!"

"I think I'm going to hurl."

"You don't know if that's what happened, kit, and it is unhealthy to drown yourself in memories and riddles such as these." Kurama paused and looked at his vessel's likeness in her mindscape sadly. "You had bad missions, too. I remember you being nearly catatonic after that first mission outside of the village." I remember you trying to save everyone, including me, as I was sucked into that damn statue. No, he'd never remind her of that. Whether either one of them liked it or not, they meant nearly everything to one another.

Naruto sighed deeply, shaking her head. "Mmm. I think you're exaggerating, but Haku's and Zabuza's deaths really screwed with my head for a while. Ya know I'd like to save them, too, right?"

"Of course you do," Kurama stated with a hint of sarcasm. "I can agree that strong allies will be helpful in achieving our goals, but if the Ice and Sword brats try to kill you again, we shall smite them." Naruto rolled her eyes. "I will, of course, encourage the Uchiha's death."

"Well, yeah. Naturally."

Kurama really hoped that Naruto was being completely serious, but he doubted it. Idiot. His proper thoughts on the kit were followed by the brat curling up under his chin.

"Ya know, Kurama... I'm not a clan heiress anymore, and I'm definitely not a 'known' jinchuuriki anymore. I mean, I'm glad that Mom - Kushina-sama - doesn't have to do those missions, but I'm..." the word "scared" was left unsaid. "Fuck! I - I almost lost control and was accidentally using your chakra, Kurama! I can't let that happen again! What if Kushina had been around? What if Dad - what if ANYONE had seen me lose it! They'd know! I can't..."

"Then you would not have to do these missions," the fox replied lazily, allowing Naruto to come to her own conclusions.

She didn't even hesitate. "No. It's wrong - I mean, it's wrong for any of us to be doing things like that! There has to be another way, 'ttebayo! Another way to get the mission done, right?! And I - I couldn't just leave those things to Anko-chan and Kurenai-chan, and - and..."

"What you must consider, kit, is that other villages have the same or similar kunoichi policies. Some also send men on similar missions: it only makes sense. I do not know why that female said that Konoha males do not." Naruto groaned out loud over just how incredibly screwed up the whole shinobi system was. Kurama's left chop turned up in what Naru knew was a smirk. "Seduce or be seduced, Naruto."

"Pervert fox! As if I wouldn't crush someone's balls if they tried that!" Naruto felt her cheeks heat up. "Or like, whatever a girl ball-equivalent is: you know I'd crush them, too. I don't give a shit who would try something like that: they're going down! I don't care what their gender is, ya know?" Naruto's eyes lit up after a brief silence. "Oi! Now there's an idea!"

"I don't know if I want to know... And don't call me a pervert!" Honestly, Kurama hated when she called him a pervert, especially considering the men she had always been around. He was simply an observer of meatbag behavior. Too bad so much of it was perverted; that wasn't his fault, though.

"Well, I can get the girls into taijutsu tutoring and we can practice what Sakura-chan taught me! We'll just crush any man's balls that we need to!"

Kurama really felt for whomever Naruto eventually mated with. Kami, his kit was so screwed up.

A new frog poofed into the living room. "Uh, hi! Did Ero- er, Dad send ya?" The frog - and it was a frog this time, she was pretty sure - nodded and Naruto waited for a message, whether in writing or voiced from the summon's mouth. In the end, she couldn't stand the suspense anymore: she really needed advice! "So are you a talker?" The toad shook his head. "Gomen. Uh, did he send me a message?" Again the amphibian shook his head. "Is he coming? Please say yes!" The frog stared at her for a bit and backup up, putting space between them. "Then what the hell?!"

The little frog grew rapidly right in front of Naruto's eyes. His jaw jutted out and he yanked her into his mouth with his elongated tongue, closing it immediately afterward. Naruto screamed as she felt her body condense and then spring back. Screaming obscenities, she was spit out of the toad's mouth, and couldn't believe her eyes.

Standing outside of the village gates with her was... Oh, gods: she hadn't even thought of this. Tears came to her blue eyes as she began to brokenly speak. "Ba - ano... I mean, you - you're Tsunade-hime, right?"
