A/N: Happy Holidays to those of you who celebrate.
I know you all know I am a little anal when it comes to getting facts straight and I am not sure how I messed this up, except for the fact that I used a pregnancy calculator and it screwed up my dates. I had to go back and make some changes starting in chapter 95 so things made sense. If Arizona carried to term, she would be due in early May, not late April. This would also make her projected 32 week date March 12th rather than February 20th. Thus, making the gender reveal ultrasound at the end of her 12th week and the gender reveal on October 29th the day before the beginning of her 13th week. The show first aired her birthday on November 5th which I am sticking to. My apologies for any confusion.
Also, apparently they weren't done with the gender reveal, so Arizona's birthday is the next chapter.

As soon as they made their announcement, the room exploded in a round of cheers and applause; everyone thrilled for the happy couple. Callie and Arizona turned to one another, each was wearing a surgical gown, generic scrub cap, had egg drying on their face, and in that moment, neither had ever looked more beautiful to the other. As brown eyes locked on blue, the excited smiles they just flashed to everyone else turned softer, morphed into the secret smile they each reserved for the other and all the noise and the people in the room faded away. The significance of the moment sinking in as they got lost in each other's eyes. As if their movements were choreographed, they each lifted their right hand to caress the cheek of the other and leaned in, allowing their lips to meet in a soft languid kiss. Eyes moist with tears of delight, Callie pulled back just enough to murmur against Arizona's lips, "Two boys and a girl." Arizona smiled into the kiss as their lips met again and again in short chaste kisses. Finally being overwhelmed by the emotion, the blonde wrapped her arms around the brunette's neck, pulled her close and buried her face into her chest as she found herself laughing and crying at the same time.
Callie rubbed her hands up and down Arizona's back and couldn't help but laugh with her. Lowering her hands to her wife's lower back, she picked her up off her feet, spun her around in a circle and let out a whoop of excitement and yelled, "We're having two boys and a girl!" Arizona lifted her head, looked into her wife's eyes and her heart did that all too familiar flip as she felt herself fall just a little deeper in love. Pulling her gorgeous face to hers, she placed a hard kiss on her lips then laughed, "Calliope, put me down!" Callie put her wife back on her feet, rested their foreheads together and Arizona whispered, "I'm so happy, but I just want to be alone with you now and celebrate these lives together." Knowing she already had a plan, Callie smiled brightly, wiggled her brows, and promised, "Oh, we are definitely celebrating later." Arizona started to answer when they heard, "Hey lovebirds, this is skype not cable television." Both women turned and glared at the monitor and Callie called out, "Shut it Yang!" Arizona sighed and suggested, "We should go get cleaned up and mingle." Callie nodded, removed both of their scrub caps, helped Arizona remove her gown, took off her own, linked their fingers together and led her wife to the kitchen area to wash up.
Throughout the remainder of the party, it was difficult to find one woman without the other; Callie most likely wrapped around Arizona from behind with their fingers intertwined, hands splayed protectively over their sons and daughter, and brilliant smiles on their faces. After having a more private conversation and being congratulated by their friends in different parts of the world, they disconnected the feed and mingled amongst their other friends, receiving hugs and congratulations and thanking them for being a part of their extended family. Noticing her wife was starting to look a little tired, Callie suggested, "Why don't we sit down and get something to eat? I'm starving." Arizona kissed her cheek and murmured, "I can see right through you Calliope, but since I am both tired and hungry, I will do as you asked." Callie leaned in, placed a soft kiss on her lips and asked tentatively, "Would I be pushing it if I asked if I could fix your plate?" Arizona knew her wife just wanted to pamper her so she wrapped her arms around her neck and teased, "You'd be pushing it if you didn't." Callie released her mega-watt smile, kissed her again and promised, "I'll be right back." Arizona nodded and replied, "I'm going to go sit by our parents." Callie nodded and went to fix their plates.
When Arizona approached the table, all four of their parents stood up and hugged her, happy to finally get a little time alone with their daughters. Not having seen the two women further than a foot apart all day, Lucia looked around and asked, "Where's Calliope?" Arizona pointed across the room and replied, "She's getting us something to snack on. Neither of us have eaten since breakfast." Daniel, still choked up by the news of his baby girl having twin boys and another girl, cleared his throat and asked, "So how are you feeling about the big reveal?" Arizona's super-magic smile spread across her face, her dimples popped, and her eyes twinkled as she answered, "We are very happy. It's what we both wanted. When we thought we were having twins, we both had a strong suspicion they were boys and kind of had our hearts set on it. Then when we found out we were having triplets, we were hoping for two boys and a girl so we would have two of each." She then looked at all four of them and asked, "What do you think?" Carlos was the first to respond, "I think it's three more grandbabies to love and spoil, that's what's important to me." Arizona narrowed her eyes at her father-in-law and teased, "Well just remember we also need to live in the house so you can't go filling it with toys." The older man chuckled and responded, "I'll try to restrain myself, though I make no promises.
Everyone laughed, knowing the elder Torres got carried away when it came to Sofia and Barb added, "Well I agree with Carlos, I would have loved them no matter what their gender but I'm happy you and Callie are getting your wish." Lucia lifted her glass in agreement then joked, "I still would have liked to see two little Arizona's running around." Daniel snorted and quipped, "Oh trust me, one was enough." Arizona glared at her father and opened her mouth to respond when she heard, "Have you met Sofia? She's a brunette version of Arizona." All their heads turned to see Callie sitting down next to her wife and the blonde replied, "Please, she has just as much of you in her as she does me." Both sets of parents started adding their two cents and reminiscing about how their granddaughter reminded them of each of her mothers in some way when they were younger and Callie leaned over and whispered, "See what you started." Arizona replied, "You started it, but at least we get to eat in peace." The brunette kissed her wife's cheek and started eating the delicious food she had just learned Michael catered for them.
While they were eating, Jo and Becca approached them, hugged and congratulated them both and Jo declared, "Becca is starting to get a little tired, so we are going to head home now." Arizona nodded, studied her friend carefully, and asked, "Are you in pain?" Becca rubbed her very large abdomen and replied, "Braxton-Hicks, I still have six weeks to go." Arizona winced and offered, "If you need me, you call at any time." Jo assured, "Trust me, you are in our emergency contacts right after our regular OB." Arizona smiled, kissed Becca on the cheek and told her to go home and put her feet up. They all said their goodbyes and the couple made their way out the door. Barb asked, "Isn't that young lady, Julie due soon also?" Callie nodded and replied, "Eight weeks I think. We just had a baby shower for her." Daniel shook his head and asked, "Is there something in the water up here?" Callie and Arizona both laughed and the blonde looked at her mom and asked, "You never gave dad the embarrassing birds and bees speech you gave to me and Timmy?" She looked at her dad and replied, "It takes a little more than water daddy." The man turned beet red and muttered, "Smartass."
Everyone around the table laughed and Carlos cleared his throat, looked at his wife, then to his daughter-in-law and proclaimed, "Arizona, since we have to leave in the morning and won't be around for your actual birthday, we hope you will indulge us and allow us to give you your presents now." Though she was much better than she used to be and didn't mind celebrating with Sofia and Callie if for nothing else than to make them happy, Arizona still felt that sharp pain in her chest whenever her birthday was mentioned. Though she knew her parents wanted her to continue to celebrate her birthday, she glanced in their direction to gauge their reaction and wasn't at all surprised to see they were both smiling at her. She looked to Callie to see if she knew anything about this and realized she didn't when her wife softened her voice and started to explain, "Daddy, Arizona doesn't really…" Callie stopped midway through her sentence when she felt her wife's hand on her arm and heard her whisper, "It's okay Calliope. Look how excited they are." Callie kissed her forehead and nodded as she watched Arizona give her parents a genuine smile and declare, "You know it wasn't necessary, but of course you can give me my present. Thank you for thinking of me." Surprising both women, Lucia excitedly reached into her bag and pulled out a small beautifully wrapped box and an off-white envelope decorated with gold trim.
She leaned down the table and handed the blonde the envelope first. Arizona opened it and pulled out a brochure for a spa and resort and looked up at the older woman in confusion. Lucia smiled at both women and proclaimed, "We wanted to give you both a little get away before the babies come. This place is fabulous, it's just outside of the city, so it's not far and we know the owners so they will take excellent care of you." Callie furrowed her brow and asked, "Mami, you do know we could just go to The Aria right?" Lucia waved her hand at her daughter and replied, "Hush Calliope, it's not special or romantic when you can do it anytime you want." Callie tilted her head and shrugged her shoulder, relenting to the fact that her mother had a point. Carlos rubbed his hands together and rushed, "Give her the next one. This one is my favorite." Arizona smiled at the older man, confused as to what he could be so excited about and took the small box into her hands. She noticed how light it felt and figured it was some sort of jewelry, probably something related to the babies, maybe a necklace or bracelet with all four of their birthstones on it.
When she opened the box, both she and Callie stared down at the small business card lying inside, perplexed as to what it could possibly represent. Arizona looked up at her mother-in-law for an explanation but Carlos cut in excitedly, "Calliope told us you were considering maternity pictures so we hired a photographer and scheduled monthly sessions leading up to the birth of the babies along with newborn pictures and a family photo." Surprised and still wondering about Carlos' enthusiasm, Arizona looked to her wife and replied, "Well we've been trying to find a photographer, but it seems as though everyone is…" She stopped when her gaze landed back on the card and the name of the photographer jumped out at her and she yelped in excitement, "This is Clare Fisher! There are books containing her maternity photos. She's the best in New York. She's booked for nearly two years with a waiting list. How did you…" Callie gasped and took the card from her wife's hand then looked to both parents for an explanation. Carlos cleared his throat and revealed, "When Ms. Fisher was first starting out, she did a little freelance work for our hotels taking pictures for brochures and other advertisements. Since then, we've followed and supported her career. When I heard you wanted maternity pictures, I called her and she was more than happy to do it." Both women stood up and hugged the elder Torres' thanking them profusely for both gifts.

After all of the guests had left, Arizona started cleaning up and nearly jumped when she heard, "What the hell do you think you are doing?" She looked up to see Maria standing on the other side of the table frowning at her and explained, "Um, I'm helping clean up." Maria snatched the plates from her hands and scolded, "No, you are going to get something to drink and sit your ass down." Arizona arched her brow in challenge and asked, "Are you telling me I can't clean my own house after a party you so graciously threw for us?" Lorraine interrupted from across the room, "That is exactly what we are saying." Arizona put her hands on her hips to argue when Max came out from the other room and added, "Doctor's orders, sit your ass down or I'm getting Montgomery back on skype." Arizona huffed, crossed her arms and realized she was no match for the three people staring her down from different corners of the room. Throwing up her hands, she walked to the table, grabbed a cup, went to one of the IV bags that was freshly refilled with the slushy juice, filled her cup and plopped down in a chair. Maria looked at her, smiled, and offered, "Thank you. We made the mess, let us clean it up. Besides, your wife would kill me if she came in and saw you cleaning."
Arizona furrowed her brow, looked around and realized she hadn't seen Callie in quite a while and asked, "Where is she?" She became extremely suspicious when she heard, "Seeing her parents out." "In the bathroom." "She had to take a call from the center." Putting her cup down, the blonde looked at the guilty faces of her three friends and asked, "Well which one is it?" Max looked around, saw the other two weren't answering and tried, "So two boys and a girl, are you excited?" Lorraine joined in, "What did you think of the big reveal? We haven't gotten a chance to talk about it." Arizona narrowed her eyes at the lame attempts to change the subject, turned to look at Maria, knowing she would give her a direct answer and couldn't help but laugh when she heard, "None of your damn business." Arizona huffed, took a drink of the cold fruity liquid and propped her feet up on the chair next to her, deciding her wife surely hadn't gotten far and reluctantly chose to do as she was told and get off her feet. As much as it killed her not to be doing something, she realized she was enjoying the silence after being surrounded by people all day. Rather than argue, she just sat back and watched her three friends work quickly and efficiently, occasionally hearing Bella and Sofia laughing and giggling as they played in the back yard.

Callie stood in the doorway of their bedroom taking one last look to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything, then closed the door behind her. When she told her wife they would have their own celebration afterward, she didn't reveal the fact that she had been putting the plan in place all week as a special surprise. Though her friends wouldn't tell her what they had planned, they did agree to help her with her plan which included distracting her wife and taking their daughter for the evening. What she didn't expect was the added bonus of their own personal chef. When she neared the entryway into the dining room, she all but moaned at the delicious aromas wafting through the air. She looked over toward the stove and still couldn't believe Chef Michael March was in her home preparing a romantic dinner for her and Arizona. Inhaling deeply, she gushed, "That smells amazing. I really appreciate you doing this for us." Michael looked up, winked, and responded, "You're very welcome, I was happy to help out. But next time, your ass is cooking and I'm teaching." Callie smiled brightly and agreed, "You've got yourself a deal." Michael peeked in the oven, checked under all the lids, and declared, "It looks like I'm about finished in here. If you'd like to go collect your lovely wife, I'll be happy to serve you before we leave." Callie stated, "You really don't have to do that." Michael smiled and answered, "Nonsense, it's all part of the service." Callie shook her head and offered, "Well thank you. We appreciate it. I'll be back in about twenty minutes." The chef nodded and returned to his work.
Callie went to the patio doors, picked up the bag she packed for Sofia as well as the garment bag containing the outfit she picked out for Arizona and made her way to the pool house. When she opened the door, her heart skipped a beat when she heard her wife's lilting laughter fill the room. As if she felt her presence, Arizona turned around, held out her hand, smiled brightly and cooed, "There she is. Come here." Callie put the bags down on the table, walked directly to the blonde, took her hand, and bent down to give her a sweet, chaste kiss. Arizona pulled back and couldn't help but notice that her wife had changed her clothes and was now wearing a pair of navy blue dress pants with a light blue button down dress shirt. After a moment of appreciating how good Callie looked in that outfit, she realized she hadn't seen her wear it since their second first night together. She narrowed her eyes, wondering what she was up to and realized she wasn't going to get an answer when Callie sat on the arm of Arizona's chair, intertwined their fingers, rested their hands on her thigh and asked, "What were you all laughing about?"
Arizona looked around at her friends who were now seated around her and answered, "They were telling me some of their other ideas for the reveal. I thought Lorraine's idea was really cute, but Maria wanted to see us smash eggs on our heads and she bullied them into it." Callie laughed, looked at Lorraine, and asked, "What was your idea?" The older woman smiled and replied, "I thought it would be cute to paint three of our skeleton bones pink and blue, cast them up, and have each of you smash one." Callie looked at Maria and asked, "Why did you veto that? It was a great idea. I would have loved that." The other brunette huffed and replied, "I didn't veto it and it was a cute idea, we had already decided to stay away from the pink and blue stereotype and your wife is right, I wanted to see you with egg on your faces." Callie shook her head at her friend, then looked at all of them and genuinely stated, "We truly loved it, the theme, the food, the whole thing and we love you for going to so much trouble for us."
Understanding that was their cue that everything was ready, Lorraine stood and replied, "We'd do anything for both of you. You should know that by now chief." Max nodded in agreement and asked, "Are we all set?" Callie answered, "Yup, good to go." Arizona looked at her wife questioningly and only received a kiss on the nose and a whispered, "You'll see." Maria stood as well and called out, "Girls, it's time to go." Sofia and Bella scampered out of the bedroom and Bella asked, "Is Sofia still spending the night?" Sofia looked at her parents and asked, "I am?" at the same time Arizona looked at Callie and asked, "She is?" Callie picked up their daughter and asked, "Is that okay big girl?" Sofia started to nod then realized her mommy didn't know about it either, looked at her and asked, "Is it okay mommy?" Arizona arched her brow at her wife and could tell by her disappearance, this little arrangement, and the expression on her face that she was up to something. Smiling at her daughter, she answered, "Of course it is." She watched as both of her brunettes sighed in relief, then leaned in to kiss her daughter on the cheek and whispered, "Be good. I love you." Sofia nodded and replied, "I will and I love you too." Callie kissed their daughter, put her down and told her, "Your bag is over by the door. We will come pick you up tomorrow afternoon okay?" Sofia smiled brightly, took Bella's hand and they ran to stand by the door indicating they were ready to go.
Both women hugged their friends, thanked them again and Arizona watched as Callie whispered something to Max and saw him nod his head before waving and leaving the pool house, closing the door behind him. Arizona sidled up next to her wife, ran her hands over her shoulders then lowered them to unbutton the top button of her shirt and asked, "What are you up to Calliope Iphigenia Robbins-Torres?" Callie feigned innocence and asked, "Now what would make you think I was up to something?" The blonde smirked and answered, "Because I know my wife and normally she doesn't disappear nor make decisions about our daughter without telling me unless she's up to something." Callie pulled the blonde into her arms, lowered her head and captured her lips in a long languid kiss before pulling back and confirming, "You're right, I am up to something and you are underdressed, so go get that bag over there, go into the bathroom, change, and meet me back here in five minutes." Arizona arched her brow in challenge and asked, "Is that an order or a request?" Callie lowered her hands to Arizona's ass, bent her head, nipped at her earlobe and whispered, "It's a strong suggestion with the promise that you won't be sorry." She then proceeded to make a trail of open-mouthed kisses down the sleek alabaster neck, knowing she would get her way when she heard the whimper fall from luscious pink lips.
Arizona's body began to tingle and she husked out, "Mmm when you put it that way, I can't refuse can I?" Callie shook her head and answered, "Nope." Arizona threw her head back, laughed out loud and started backing away as she declared, "You're such a charmer." Once she was in the bathroom, Arizona opened the garment bag and immediately recognized the black dress she had also worn that evening and smiled when she saw that her wife had truly planned this little celebration and purchased the same dress in a larger size to accommodate her pregnancy. She quickly removed the scrubs she'd been wearing all day, looked down at the comfortable maternity underwear and pink bra she was wearing, thought back to that night, smirked and whispered to herself, "If you want to recreate that night Calliope, then we have to do it right." She removed the last two items of clothing and slipped into the clingy black dress, turning to look in the mirror and decided she didn't look half bad for a nearly 40 year old pregnant woman.
XXXX
When the bathroom door opened, Callie turned to greet her wife and the smile she was wearing disappeared and was replaced by an expression of pure awe and lust. Arizona was standing before her in the silky black dress that clung to her new curves perfectly and Callie couldn't help but notice by the hardening of her wife's nipples that she had caught on to her intended reference of their second first night together and removed her bra and panties. Arizona smirked when she realized the effect she was having on her wife and couldn't help but feel a thrill by the fact that she found her so attractive even at 13 weeks pregnant. She sashayed her way across the room, lifted her hand to Callie's slack jaw, slid it under her chin, closed her gorgeous mouth and murmured, "You're drooling Calliope." Callie looked down into azure blue eyes twinkling with confidence and crashed their lips together in an all consuming kiss as their tongues explored one another's mouths, leaving no question as to how their evening would end. Pulling back, Callie rested their foreheads together and growled, "I swear you are the sexiest woman on the planet." Arizona blushed slightly and argued, "Impossible, because you are the sexiest person in the world." Callie took a deep breath to restrain herself from taking her wife right then and there, stepped back, held out her arm and asked, "Shall we?" Arizona arched her brow and asked, "Where are we going?" Callie smirked and replied, "Only the best place in town." Arizona took the proffered arm and allowed her wife to lead her into the house.
When they stepped through the patio doors, Arizona was surprised to find the room dimly lit, table beautifully set with their finest dishes covered with silver cloches, a wire basket covered with a decorative tea towel, a gorgeous candelabra, and a bucket containing sparkling grape juice, not to mention being hit with the most amazing smells drifting from the kitchen, making her mouth water. She knew her amazing wife was up to something but had no idea the lengths she had gone to. Dimples popping and eyes filled with love, she turned into Callie's arms and gushed, "Calliope, its…beautiful." Callie felt a warmth run through her when she saw Arizona's reaction and lowered her head to place a chaste kiss on her smiling lips. They pulled apart when they heard someone clear their throat and looked up to see Michael in his white chef's coat, holding a cloth napkin over his arm standing next to them and in his most professional voice asked, "Robbins-Torres, table for two?" Both women giggled and nodded, then followed the chef to their seats. Callie pulled out Arizona's chair at the end of the table then took the seat directly to her right where the other place setting was.
Both women watched while Michael filled their water glasses from a glass pitcher, opened the bottle of sparkling grape juice and poured it into wine goblets, then straightened his shoulders and announced, "The special this evening is the classic surf and turf consisting of pan-seared filet mignon basted in garlic butter and lobster tails with bacon cream sauce, accompanied by roasted asparagus, long grain and wild rice, a side salad with the house vinaigrette, and homemade rolls." Both women smiled at their friend and Arizona excitedly proclaimed, "Mmm, that sounds delicious. I didn't realize how hungry I was." Michael bowed to both of them and stated, "If that will be all, I will leave you two to enjoy your meal." Callie smiled up at him, reached out to take his hand and offered, "Thank you Michael. I really appreciate this. We both do." Breaking character, the man leaned down, kissed both women on their cheeks and replied, "It was the least I could do. Congratulations." With that, he left the room and they watched as he closed the front door behind him.
Callie lifted all the cloches from their plates, stacked them on the table next to her, looked to her wife and declared, "This looks amazing." Arizona nodded excitedly in agreement and both women moaned in delight when the steak nearly melted in their mouths. The room was quiet except for the low jazz playing in the background and the sound of silverware tapping against China, both women content to be in each other's company and enjoying the delicious meal their friend prepared for them. After her initial hunger was sated, Arizona finally broke the silence by saying "Calliope, this is just…it's all so amazing. I can't believe you did this." Callie took a sip of her water, smirked and replied, "I promised you we would celebrate alone later." Arizona arched her brow, curled her lip in her sexy smirk, took the tan hand resting on the table into her own and flirted, "I thought you had a different kind of celebration in mind." Callie lowered their entwined hands to Arizona's bare thigh, rubbed the back of her hand upward, scooting the hem of the black fabric up just slightly and promised, "Oh, that is definitely on my mind. I just, I wanted to romance you, to show you how much I love and appreciate you for being in my life, carrying our children, trusting in us enough to make us a family again." Callie started to lift her free hand to wipe the tears she could feel running down her cheek when Arizona tugged her closer and kissed them away.
Arizona was touched and charmed and asked, "So what about these outfits?" Callie smiled and answered, "We were wearing these clothes the night we declared our love for one another, the night we opened our hearts to each other fully, both emotionally and physically and if that…if we hadn't have done that, if that night didn't happen, we wouldn't be here. I just, I wanted us to remember how far we've come and to show you how precious and special every single moment I spend with you is to me." It was Arizona who found herself crying then, reached her free hand over to cup the back of Callie's neck and pulled her into a long languorous kiss full of love, promise, and forever.
XXXX
After finishing their meal and cleaning up the kitchen, Callie switched to one of the playlists on her phone and the two women danced around their living room together, holding each other close, enjoying the intimacy, the closeness, and feeling nothing but overwhelming love for one another. As one song finished and another began, Arizona lifted her head from Callie's shoulder and asked, "Do you remember this song?" Callie lowered her head, brushed their lips together softly then started kissing down her jawline to her sensitive neck and replied, "Of course I do. It's the first slow dance we ever shared." Arizona tilted her head back, pulled Callie's body closer to hers and her breath hitched when a strong muscular thigh slipped between her legs and Callie's hand slid down her back to splay across her ass and hold her tight against it. As their hips rolled together, shooting sparks of electricity through each of their bodies, Arizona tugged at the back of Callie's shirt until it was finally freed from the waistband of her pants and wasted no time slipping her hands underneath the hem to feel the warm bare skin of her wife's back. As she scraped her nails up and down the rippling muscles of the strong back with one hand, she snaked her other hand between them and trailed her hand down the front of Callie's shirt, freeing the buttons as she did so.
Callie continued to slowly lick and suck at the smooth alabaster skin as she slid her hands from Arizona's tight ass to the sides of her thighs and painstakingly slowly bunched the material up in her hands until she felt the soft skin underneath. Sliding her hands around once again, both women moaned as she caressed the bare round globes. Arizona bucked forward, feeling her bare clit rub against the rough fabric of Callie's pants and couldn't help but grind her hips against it over and over searching for relief. Pale hands slithered up a taut tan abdomen and slid under the navy blue silk sports bra and began making soft slow circles around the hardened mocha nipples taking great care not to touch them. Callie's entire body shuddered and without a word, she started dancing them toward the back of the house to their bedroom. When she reached the door, she found herself backed up against it as Arizona began pressing her strong muscular thigh into her own dripping mound and instantly began rolling her hips, seeking friction for her throbbing clit. She threw her head back against the door and rolled it from side to side as she got lost in the pleasure.
Arizona's entire body was on fire, she always needed and desired her wife, but this, what she was feeling now was like a hunger that needed to be fed, an urgency to satiate that need like never before. She found that her body was at war with itself because as urgent as her need was, she wanted to go slow, to draw out the pleasure, to connect with her wife on more than just the physical plane. This need was about connecting their souls. Slowing her movements, she looked up into onyx colored eyes and could see the same need, the same desire. Tonight wasn't just about celebrating the gender of their children, it was about the rebuilding of a family made more real by learning the genders, putting something tangible to what felt like the surreal. Callie felt the shift in both of them, she felt the emotional needs to merge into one overtake the physical desire and when darkening navy blue eyes peered into hers, it was like she was looking straight into the soul of her lover. She raised her hands to Arizona's face, pulled her close and murmured, "I need to make love to you, I want you to make love to me." Arizona brushed their lips together softly, both of them feeling the burning on their lips, each of them shaking with need and anticipation. Pulling back, the blonde reached behind Callie's back, turned the doorknob and declared, "Take me to our bed Calliope, I want that too. I want you," she then traced the curve of plump red lips with her tongue, requesting access to the warm recesses of her lover's mouth and moaned in pleasure when it was granted.
Feeling the door open behind her, Callie carefully walked backward until she felt the backs of her legs hit the bed. Turning them around, she continued to deepen the kiss as she pulled the silky black material up Arizona's body and had no choice but to peel their lips apart to remove the offending garment completely. It was only then that Arizona opened her eyes and noticed their room had been somewhat transformed and was lit not by the overhead light nor by the bedside lamps, but by a single strand of fairy lights hung around the patio doors. While it should look corny and out of place, it provided the perfect amount of lighting and to her felt extremely romantic. She then noticed another bottle of sparkling juice chilling on the bedside table next to a huge bouquet of gerbera daisies. Turning her attention back to her wife, who was nervously biting her lip, she caressed her face and quietly admitted, "I love it, it's perfect. It's all perfect, not nearly as perfect as you are though." Callie smiled at the compliment then snaked her arms around her wife's sleek pale back, pulled her closer and licked a trail from her neck to her lips where their tongues teased one another before their lips connected and the kiss deepened, quickly reigniting the fire from moments ago.
Arizona slipped her hands into Callie's open shirt, slid them up her sides then around the front when she reached her fabulous breasts, tucked her fingertips underneath the silky sports bra and lifted it up making sure to brush her hands against the hardened mocha peaks. She reluctantly broke their kiss, pushed the bra over Callie's head, and slid her hands up the upraised arms to free her of both the bra and her shirt, quickly tossing them aside. Needing the skin on skin contact, she stepped forward and swallowed Callie's moan as their lips met at the same time as their breasts rubbed together. Callie ran her hands down Arizona's bare arms until she reached her hands, took them in hers then moved them to the button of her pants, silently indicating to the blonde that she wanted her to finish undressing her.
Needing no further direction, Arizona quickly unfastened Callie's pants and pushed them along with her underwear over her hips, smiled into the kiss when she heard them hit the floor with a quiet thud, and caressed her curvaceous hips, helping to support the brunette while she stepped out of her final pieces of clothing. Callie walked them the last couple of steps to the bed, guided Arizona into a sitting position and started to crawl onto the bed with her when the blonde broke the kiss and looked up at her with an intensity the made goosebumps rise on her skin. Arizona put her hand on her shoulder and gently guided her into a standing position, slid her hands around her hips to her ass to pull her closer, then slipped one hand down and tapped the back of her leg, quietly commanding, "Lift your leg and rest your foot flat on the bed." Callie quickly complied and was rewarded with her wife's hand on her ass pulling her closer still while she bent her head and started kissing and licking at her raised inner thigh.
As Arizona got closer to her target, she could smell the intoxicating scent of Callie's arousal, a mixture of spicy, salty, and sweet that was unique to her wife. She closed her eyes, trying to restrain herself from diving in and tasting the juices that were produced for her and her alone. This was about more than pleasuring her wife or satiating her own needs, this was about showing their appreciation for one another, connecting on a higher plane, making her wife feel everything she herself felt inside. Finally reaching the juncture of quivering caramel colored thighs, Arizona wrapped her arm under Callie's thigh, lifted it to rest over her shoulder, gripped her magnificent ass with both hands, and moved her head that final inch so her mouth skimmed across the top of her wife's mound. Opening her lips, she grazed it with her teeth, nibbling and sucking, enjoying the moment strong hands wound tightly into her blonde tresses, and a cry of relief, or pleasure, possibly both radiated from above her.
Callie was certain her knee was going to buckle and she was going to topple over onto the bed and crush her wife and she hadn't even touched her where she truly needed her. She tightened her grip on blonde curls when she felt the warm tongue dart out and lap up all the moisture that was dripping down her already trembling leg. She closed her eyes, rolled her head back on her neck and just allowed herself to feel what her wife was doing to her body, feel what her actions were saying that no words could convey. She let out a strangled, "Oh fuck, yes baby," when Arizona's tongue stroked her from core to clit, slowly, softly, repeatedly with just the tip in barely-there touches while her hands caressed and groped at her ass. Involuntarily, her hips jerked with the movements of her wife's tongue, erratic at first until much to her relief, Arizona flattened that talented muscle and pressed more firmly with each stroke. She growled as she felt her tongue push just inside the pulsating opening of her sex, swirled around in circles, then it was gone and on the move once again, moving upward toward her clit where she circled it three times before her lips closed around it and she sucked gently at first then harder and began flicking the sensitive bundle of nerves with her tongue. Callie's leg was shaking so badly, she knew at the pace her wife was going, there was no way she would be able to keep standing. Moaning again when Arizona's tongue moved back to her tight channel, she begged, "Please baby, I need…I can't stand…bed."
Hearing her wife's pleas, feeling her legs trembling, nearly vibrating, Arizona reluctantly sat back, started to wipe her chin with the back of her hand and found Callie's mouth on hers, licking and sucking at her own juices while she crawled on top of her and pushed her further up on the bed. Once they were in the middle of the oversized mattress, Arizona sat up patted the spot in front of her and though she was slightly confused, Callie complied and sat on the bed facing her wife. Arizona got up on her knees, put both of her hands on Callie's long legs and whispered, "Spread your legs for me." Callie furrowed her brow in confusion, spread her legs, then started to understand what her wife was trying to do when she crawled between them, wrapped her long pale legs around her waist and pulled herself forward so they were face to face, breast to breast, core to core.
Arizona brought her hand up to Callie's neck, pulled her in for a deep sexy kiss, reached for her right hand, rested it on her own shoulder, palm down and started guiding it down her chest. She lowered her own hand in the same manner on Callie's body, lifting the other to join in her exploration as she reached the full tan breasts, cupped them reverently in her hands, caressed and rubbed them, running her thumb across tight mocha buds and gasped when Callie followed in her exploration and took her own breasts in her hands. Taking advantage of the break in the kiss, Callie lowered her head, took one of the sensitive raspberry colored nipples into her mouth and softly flicked at it with her tongue before switching to the other while her right hand wandered lower, fingertips grazing the ever-growing belly that harbored their sons and daughter, and slipped between muscular pale thighs feeling the heat emanating from her wife's core before she even touched her.
Arizona's hand followed the same path as Callie's until she reached her now dripping center as she never got to finish what she started. Without parting the lower lips, she rubbed her hand back and forth over the slick heated skin making Callie's breath hitch and breaking the suction on her breast. When two sets of desire filled eyes looked at one another, Callie whispered, "Together." Arizona continued her ministrations, gasped when she felt deft fingers slipping between her weeping folds and closed her eyes at the pure bliss of finally being touched. Callie began rocking her hips and moving her hand to the rhythm Arizona set and commanded, "Open your eyes baby. Look at me." The two women locked gazes as they slowly rocked together, both crying out when two fingers penetrated their tight wet channels, causing them to buck their hips and try to speed up the pace.
As their movements sped up and their faces contorted into expressions of pure bliss, both women's eyes opened up and became windows to their souls and what they saw in the other was both comforting and frightening for what they saw was the reflection of themselves looking back at them. When Callie looked into Arizona's eyes, she felt the all consuming love, the power she had over the other woman, the ability to both break her and put her back together. When Arizona stared into the eyes she loved so much, she was overwhelmed with the want, need, and desire she felt, the proof that she held this woman's heart and soul in her own, most importantly, she saw her own heart and trusted that it was safe, it was home. With those thoughts running through their minds and hearts, both women began to shudder, cried out each other's names, and clung tightly to the other as they rode out their orgasm and their bodies continued to convulse with aftershocks long after they had hit their peaks.

Arizona awoke early Sunday morning and smiled when she looked down to see Callie's head resting just under her breasts and her hand laying across her stomach. She could tell by the slow steady breathing and warm puffs of breath on her bare skin that her wife was sound asleep now but was certain that at some point during the night she had moved to that position to talk to their babies. Deciding to take a few maternity shots of her own, she carefully reached for her phone, covered her breasts with her forearm, lifted the device and framed the shot so she focused on Callie's face and hand on her protruding abdomen, she took a few pictures from different angles, then brought her phone back up to look at the images. Her heart swelled with love when she saw the soft expression and stunning smile on her wife's face. As she studied the photo, she was mesmerized by the beauty and serenity of it. The stark contrast of their skin tones seemed to make her belly stand out even more and that one picture, to her, spoke volumes about their love for one another. After a few more minutes of admiring her wife's face, she put her phone down and thought about the gift she was given by her in-laws and tried to think of different possibilities for poses and outfits they could wear.
That thought, of course, led to the reason for the gift and she sighed as she realized she would be turning 40 in 6 days. It wasn't the age that bothered her as much as the date. Stroking her wife's back, she smiled at how quickly she jumped to intervene when Carlos brought up her birthday, even though she still didn't know the reason her wife didn't like her birthday. Since that first disaster of a birthday party which, ended in the most spectacular way by her declaring her love for the brunette, she had allowed Callie to acknowledge her birthday low key and later they celebrated it for Sofia's sake. She knew now though, it was time to get past this particular trauma and learn to enjoy and celebrate this day with her family, all of her family, not for their sakes but for her own. She needed to allow herself to heal and celebrate both lives on that day and she needed to start by talking to Callie about it. She just hoped she would understand why she hadn't told her before.
Callie awoke slowly and could feel the tension in her wife's body and immediately became worried. Rolling to her other side, her brows furrowed when she saw the faraway look in her wife's eyes and the distraught look on her face. She reached up to caress the soft skin of Arizona's beautiful face and realized by her surprised expression, she hadn't even noticed she had woken up and turned to look at her. Alarmed, Callie sat up and asked, "Honey, what is it? What's bothering you?" Half expecting her wife to blow it off, she was surprised when Arizona patted the bed beside her and asked, "Will you come up here and hold me? I'll tell you, I just…I need you to hold me." Callie pulled herself up to her wife's side, lay down beside her, took her in her arms and asked, "What's wrong baby?" Arizona rested her head on Callie's chest, certain if she looked her in the eye she would start crying.
Exhaling deeply, Arizona admitted, "Calliope, there's something I never told you and I want you to know now. Before I tell you, I need you to know…this…you not knowing, it wasn't about you or the way I felt or feel about you. It was about how I felt about the situation, about pain I hadn't yet dealt with." Callie felt a knot forming in her stomach and worried that what her wife was about to tell her was going to be bad. Fighting the fear, she lifted her hand to brush through soft blonde curls to try to soothe both of them. She was only further confused when Arizona asked, "Do you remember Wallace?" Though she wondered what this had to do with anything, Callie couldn't help but smile softly when she thought of the intelligent little boy her then girlfriend had gotten so close to and replied, "Of course I do." Arizona lifted her hand to fiddle with Callie's charm and revealed, "Do you remember we shared a birthday?" Callie furrowed her brows, briefly wondering why her wife was bringing this up now, then realized that maybe, just maybe, she finally trusted her enough to tell her about Timothy on her own.
Callie kept massaging her wife's scalp and did her best not to do anything that might indicate that she knew what she knew. Speaking softly, she answered, "I remember." Arizona took a deep breath, closed her eyes and hoped she wasn't about to start a fight. Lifting her head, she looked into concerned brown eyes and admitted, "Calliope, Wallace wasn't the only person I shared a birthday with and…and the other person is the reason I don't like to celebrate my birthday." Callie knew what was coming and was trying to figure out how she should respond when the truth was revealed. Right now, she'd wait to hear what her wife had to say. Swallowing thickly, she stared into worried blue eyes, nodded and allowed her wife to continue. Arizona caressed her cheek and explained, "The reason I don't like my birthday, don't celebrate it, is because it was Timmy's birthday too. We were two years apart, but we shared the same birthday, we always called ourselves twins and the bond between us was like we were twins. When he died, I felt like…I felt like I had nothing left to celebrate, no one to share my day with." The blonde didn't even realize she was crying until Callie pulled her into her arms, started rocking her back and forth and soothed, "Shh baby, shh. I know it hurts. Let it out honey."
Arizona didn't know how long she lay in her wife's arms sobbing, but when she finally settled down, she lifted her head to look into her wife's loving face and asked, "You're not mad that I didn't tell you?" Callie took a deep breath and admitted, "I always knew there was something more behind it honey and it hurt then that you didn't tell me. But looking back at how poorly we communicated, how differently I responded to things, I can't blame you for not trusting me with that…" Arizona interjected, "It's not that I didn't trust you Calliope. I didn't know how to share that piece of me yet. It took everything I had to tell you about him in the first place and I only did that when I realized how close I was to losing you because you didn't understand who I was, why I believed what I believed." Callie remembered that conversation and knew even then how hard it was for Arizona to open up about her brother's death, so to reveal something so intimate, something so painful about herself would have been unthinkable to the younger Arizona. Taking her wife's hand in hers, she asked, "So why tell me now?" Arizona sighed and shared, "Because it's time. It's time for me to share these things with you, it's time for me to stop running from that pain, and it's time for me to celebrate and enjoy my birthday with my family and not for them." Callie smiled brightly, leaned forward to brush their lips together and murmured, "Thank you for telling me." She then pulled back, took a deep breath and decided to tell her wife the truth.
Arizona studied her wife's face and could see something in her eyes, fear maybe, then thought about her words and her reaction, or lack thereof, narrowed her eyes and in a soft tone accused, "You already knew." Callie bit her bottom lip, closed her eyes, nodded her head and admitted, "You're mom told me just before we left for Florida." Arizona sat back and put some space between them, she didn't know why, but she felt betrayed and she wasn't sure by whom. Callie watched as her wife curled into herself and wasn't sure if she should leave her alone or try to talk to her. She didn't want to fight about this, it was painful enough for Arizona without adding a fight to the mix and she knew this wasn't about her. Deciding it might be best to leave her alone, she started to get out of bed when Arizona grabbed her hand and asked, "Where are you going?" When Callie turned to look at her, she could see panic swirling in blue eyes welling with tears, climbed back to her spot and said, "I just thought, I thought maybe you'd need some space to, um…I don't know, be mad, think…I didn't want to, I don't want to fight about this. I know it was hard for you to tell me and I'm sorry I already knew, but I won't lie and say I'm not glad you decided to tell me on your own." Arizona deflated; she didn't want to fight about it either. She scooted over, curled into Callie's side and calmly asked, "Will you tell me how it came up?" Callie let out a relieved breath, pulled Arizona closer, and nodded her agreement.
Thinking about the conversation, Callie recalled, "You're mom called me that day before we left and I was with a patient so I called her back. She asked if I had any plans for your birthday since it was a big one and I told her I hadn't intended to throw a huge party and planned to do something with just us because of how you felt about your birthday. Then she asked me if I knew why you felt that way and I think I asked if you all just didn't celebrate birthdays or something and she told me it was because of Tim and I asked if you found out about him on your birthday and that's when she told me. I didn't call behind your back and ask Arizona, I swear I would never…" Arizona stopped her with a soft kiss to her lips and offered, "I know honey. I know you wouldn't. I was just surprised she said anything is all." Callie rested their foreheads together and asked, "You're not mad?" Arizona shook her head and confirmed, "No baby, I'm not mad. I think…I think it bothered me because I should have been the one to tell you first, so if I have anyone to be mad at, it's me." Callie kissed her nose and suggested, "How about we choose not to be mad at anyone and focus on the fact that you are ready to celebrate your birthday." Arizona chuckled and warned, "That wasn't a free pass to throw a huge 40th birthday party Calliope." She already had her wife's birthday planned, but couldn't resist the opportunity to tease her and asked, "How many people is huge? Forty? Fifty? Sixt…OW!"
Callie grabbed her breast and swatted her wife's hand away to keep her from twisting her nipple again and scolded, "Those are not radio dials Arizona." The blonde laughed and replied, "No but they are extremely effective disciplinary tools." Callie narrowed her eyes, lowered her gaze to her wife's swollen breasts, started to reach out and asked, "Oh yeah? Let's see how you like it." Before she knew what was happening, she found herself flat on her back, straddled by a very naked pregnant blonde holding her wrists over her head and hissed out, "Jesus you are freakishly strong." Arizona wiggled her brows and retorted, "Gotta love those second trimester hormones." When her wife started rolling her hips on top of her mound, Callie groaned and whimpered, "Oh God, do I ever." Arizona leaned down to connect their lips in a long sexy kiss and it was at least another hour before either of them said another word.
