It was another normal morning in Los Angelos. All of the townspeople were going about their usual days after the whole Robotnik incident that occurred last night. All but one certain family was fully recovered from that event, however.
In the Boonchuys residence, Anne, her parents and the Plantars were busy fixing up the inside due to the amount of damage it took when Robotnik invaded it and threatened their lives.
"You got enough paint there, mom?" Anne asked as she was hauling in the new kitchen table.
"I sure do, sweetie." Oum replied, repainting the walls with some white paint.
"All the pictures have been fixed." Sprig said while standing on a ladder in front of the portrait wall.
"Good job, Sprig." Anne complemented kindly.
"Everything's looking better, now." Bee admitted with a smile.
"Yep. Everything doesn't look like a trashed battlefield now." Polly said, smiling casually as everyone else gave her blank looks.
"Polly, we've really gotta talk about your choice of words." Anne told her.
Just then, all of them heard a knock on the door.
"Were you three expecting someone?" Hop Pop asked.
"Not at all." Anne answered.
The Boonchuys and Plantars approached the door and Bee opened it up, revealing Commander Walters on the other side.
"Mr and Mrs Boonchuy." Commander Walters said.
"Uh, yes?" Bee asked in confusion.
"Can we help you?" Oum questioned.
In response, Walters pulled out an envelope from his military coat.
"A token of appreciation from your government, for keeping quiet about recent incidents which never occurred." He explained.
The Boonchuys and Plantars were surprised by this before they accepted the envelope from him.
"Woah, thanks." Anne said with a chuckle.
"What is it? Money? A compliment from the President?" Sprig asked hopefully.
"You'll see." Commander Walters told them.
"Okay. Let's take a look." Bee said.
Anne opened up the envelope and she and her family saw that it was… a gift card for a dining restaurant called Olive Garden.
"Huh. Olive Garden." Oum said, a little but surprised.
"I was not expecting that." Polly muttered, while Commander Walters only smiled at them.
"When you said 'you'll see', I was expecting it to be something a little more bigger." Anne admitted.
"Have you tried their never ending pasta bowl?" Walters questioned. "It never ends."
"Sounds tasty to me." Hop Pop replied.
"Well, thanks. We'll make sure to check it out." Bee said with a smile.
Commanded Walters nodded to them as he begins to leave, until Anne decides to speak up.
"Hey, I guess we close the file on that Robotnik guy, Huh?" She asked. "He just disappeared without a trace."
"I'm sorry, but no such person exists or ever has existed." Commander Walters replied, already wanting to forget about the incident involving him.
"I wish that was true." Sprig whispered as he rubbed his left arm.
"You haven't by any chance been in contact with a certain alien creature since the incident, have you?" Commander Walters asked curiously. "Uncle Sam would love to have a chat with him. Very casual. Brunch, perhaps."
Anne, her parents and the Plantars looked at each other for a few seconds before they looked back to the Commander.
"Oh, you mean that little blue hedgehog?" Oum asked, earning a nod from Walters. "Sorry, but no. We haven't seem him since then."
"When we got back home, he was just gone." Sprig explained with a shrug. "We didn't even say goodbye to him."
"To be honest, I don't think we'll be seeing him again." Anne admitted.
"Very well." Commander Walters said.
"Good. Okay, thank you for the gift." Bee told him.
"And have a good time in the government." Hop Pop added.
Anne then slowly closed the door as the commander leaned his head over the open gap until it was completely shut.
"To be honest, I wanna try out that pasta bowl." Anne told the others.
"I'm sure you would." Sprig replied as they all walked into the living room.
Just then, Sonic peeked out from the behind the couch as Domino was sleeping on it.
"So, do you guys wanna watch a movie of what?" Sonic asked.
"Sorry, buddy, but it's meant to be a school night today." Anne replied.
"Which means it's time for you to go back to your cave." Oum added.
"What?" Sonic asked in disbelief as he flipped onto the couch. "It's three in the afternoon!"
"You know how you get when you're tired." Bee reminded.
"I'd listen to them if I were you." Hop Pop admitted with a casual smile.
"Come on, blue boy." Polly said.
"Me? I'm not like anything." Sonic replied, walking from the couch and sighing in complaint. "You guys are so uncool."
"Yeah, we know." Sprig said jokingly.
"But you don't really mean it." Oum whispered as she smiled a little bit.
Sonic is about to reach for the door, but Anne decides to stop him.
"Hey, bud, we're you going?" She questioned.
"You said I have to go back to my cave." Sonic answered.
"We did." Bee replied as he and the others smiled to each other, obviously planning a surprise for him.
"Just follow us." Sprig instructed.

The Boonchuys, Plantars and Sonic arrived upstairs and Anne pulled down the attic door, allowing the wooden staircase to fall down in front of the blue hedgehog.
"Go ahead. Take a look." Anne told him.
Sonic then walked his way up the attic stairs and when he slowly peeped his head up, he was very astonished to see what was inside. What was once a collection of dusty boxes and useless objects that were no longer in any other rooms was now makeshift bedroom of Sonic's very own possessions that came straight from his old cave, complete with a racing car bed.
"Oh, my – are you kidding me?" Sonic asked softly, looking around the whole room. "I can't believe it. How did you – it's… it's all here.
Anne, her parents and the Plantars joined him in his brand new bedroom and they all smiled towards him.
"What do you think?" Polly asked.
Sonic was still speechless by what he saw before he became extremely excited.
"Look at this!" The Blue Hedgehog exclaimed in amazement as he started speeding around and interacting with his stuff. "Are you kidding?! And the beanbag?! No way! How did you even get this?! And you got it all the way over –?!"
He then got onto his racing car bed and happily did the floss on it.
"I love it, I love it, I love it!" Sonic remarked, jumping back on his bed.
Anne and her family were glad that Sonic loved their surprise to him and they all joined him on his bed.
"Well, welcome home." Oum said kindly.
"You're not gonna be in a cave, anymore." Bee assured.
"And you won't be alone, too." Sprig added with a smile.
"Starting right now, you're an honorary Boonchuy and Plantar." Hop Pop declared in proudness.
"No matter what happens, we're always gonna be here to help you out." Anne told the blue hedgehog, placing a friendly hand on his shoulder. "And when the days comes for us to go back to Amphibia and take down King Andrias, we could really use your help. We know you've got what it takes, Sonic. Especially me. You're a pretty awesome creature."
Sonic was very touched by the Thai-American girl's words and he returned a kind smile to her and the others.
"Thank you. So much." He said in gratefulness.
The Boonchuys and Plantars appreciated Sonic's expression to them and they all huddled in for a group hug. Just then, the moment was interrupted by Domino walking up to them and meowing.
"Oh no, you don't! No second-best animal friends allowed in my room!" Sonic stated playfully before Domino jumped at him and started licking his face. "Wait, what are you doing? Stay away from me! Stop it! I'm warning you, I've got nunchucks! Hey, stop! Okay, you can stay! Hahahaha!"
After so many misadventures which led to a brand new bond between human and otherworldly creatures, Sonic The Hedgehog was no longer alone on Earth. He now had a family in Anne Boonchuy, her parents and her adoptive frog family, the Plantars. And this was just the beginning of his tales with them.

Meanwhile, on the mushroom planet, the scene shows none other than Dr Robotnik with a completely different appearance. He had completely shaved off his hair with a piece of metal from his destroyed aircraft and his moustache had also outgrown.
"My grasp on sanity remains… absolute." Robotnik said to himself while looking at his reflection in a mirror before turning to his right side. "Isn't that right, Agent Stone?"
It wasn't actually talking to the real Agent Stone, but just a rock carving of him. Robotnik then picked up the rock with all his might.
"Why don't you get a head start?" He suggested before yelling out and tossing the rock away. "Do some rock-connaissance! Hahahahaha! Rock-connaissance! Come on, that's hilarious! What's the matter with you?!"
After he bumped a mushroom with his hand, Robotnik grabbed his wrist log and attached it to his wrist, reading it to see it currently said 'Doctor's Log: Day 87'.
"Here's the sitch. Uninhabited planet. No resources. No supplies." Robotnik said as he grabbed a bag made out of junk and fastened it onto his back. "No apparent way home. A lesser man would die here."
He then pulled out the shattered container that was holding Sonic's quill, which still had a little bit of energy inside.
"I'll be home by Christmas." Robotnik said with a smirk.
The mad doctor then put the container away and placed his broken glasses onto his eyes. He moved his body around like a robot while making mechanical noises before moving along to find a way off the mushroom planet so he could exact his revenge on Sonic, the Boonchuys and the Plantars. When he came across the stone that was considered Agent Stone, Robotnik once again picked him up and tossed him onto another giant mushroom with a loud shout.
"ROCK-CONNAISSANCE!" Robotnik yelled at the top of his lungs before cackling like a maniac. "COME ON! CHEER UP!"

While all of this was happening, the scene is then changed to a dark room with mechanical walls and large cables connected to everything. Inside it was a shadowy figure, who appeared to be watching a bunch of monitors that were showing Sonic displaying his speedster skills alongside Anne and the Plantars.
"Interesting. This creature is… unlike anything we've ever witnessed."The figure, who had a tone of seemingly many voices, said in curiosity before they looked to their back area. "Andrias! We want you down here, at once!"
Some loud footsteps were heard within the room and then a new figure emerged from the shadows. He was a large newt-like being with light-blue colourings, a coral crown on his head, a large white beard and he was wearing a set of dark-grey and blackish-red armor around his body. This was the tyrannical leader of Amphibia who is determined to finish the job that his ancestors started millions of years ago by invading Earth, King Andrias.
"Yes, my lord?" Andrias asked with a bow. "What do you need me for?"
"Take a look at this." the shadowed figure told him, gesturing towards the monitors that showed Sonic.
Andrias was most surprised by the appearance of the blue hedgehog and his amazing skills that involved his super speed or his unbelievable energy power.
"What in all of Amphibia is that supposed to be?" Andrias asked. "Some kind of spiky mouse with human parts?"
"Not at all." The shadowed figure replied. "It appears to be some kind of anamorphic hedgehog that harnesses a power unlike anything we've ever witnessed in the past millennia years. What's more, it has acquired the trust of Anne Boonchuy."
"Well, that's interesting. We don't get anything like this in Amphibia, which makes it a very rare life form to see in person." Andrias said with a small smirk. "What exactly do you plan on doing with it, my Lord?"
"It's quite simple, really." The shadowed figure said before they stepped forward to reveal themselves.
They were a tall female human that was the same age as Anne, and her appearance was truly scary. She had a black mechanical suit with a single orange eye on the torso, and a black helmet with huge horns on the top and multiple orange eyes that were just pure evil on the inside. In reality, this was supposed to be Anne's clumsy and intelligent best friend, Marcy Wu. But she has been possessed by a sinister artificial intelligence that was made up of Amphibia's greatest minds from many years ago known as the Core since the Thai-American girl and the Plantars were sent away to Earth.
"If this creature ever chooses to come to our world or we invade Earth before that happens, we will capture it and study it for great things. It shall be most wonderful to see this magnificent being for ourselves and then learn the secrets of it's unrivalled power." Marcy/The Core said with a malicious smirk.
The screen faded away into darkness as the Core's orange eyes were the only things left to see.

In a location that was completely unknown, it was very dark and there was a beeping noise coming from deep within a strange jungle. The scene revealed some kind of large makeshift hideout within a bunch of huge trees and the beeping was coming from a highly advanced computer.
Two shadowy figures then approached the computer to see a blue dot being shown on Earth. They couldn't be made out by any distinctive features, but they seemed to be the same height as Sonic.
"Sis, is that… what I think it is?" A male voice said, sounding surprised and excited.
"It absolutely is, bro. He's alive." A female voice replied happily.
As the two figures kept staring at the screen, their eyes and hands suddenly began to emit green and dark-pink electrical energy respectively, just like Sonic's own power. It's almost as if these two had some kind of special connection to Sonic The Hedgehog.
