Chapter 19 – Worth it.

No One's POV

When Jade's eyes opened back up again, she realized she was still laying on Tori. However, from the grin, firmly fixed on her lover's face, Tori obviously didn't mind.

Just a bit groggy, Jade muttered. "What happened."

"Before, during or after the mind-blowing sex?"

"Afterward you nitwit? What did I fall asleep or something? No, I couldn't have. I was just closing my eyes for a minute. Only guys fall asleep after sex." Growled Jade.

Tori laughed almost instantly. "You've been asleep for almost 40 minutes." Tori then looked down and smirked. "With your strap on, buried inside of me the entire time."

With great amusement, Tori watched as Jade's eyes bugged out. "Oh my god. I fell asleep, How could I I'm a girl, I'm not supposed to do that kind of thing."

Abruptly, Jade pulled out of Tori causing a small popping sound. Looking down she could see the amused look on Tori's face quickly morphed into a rather intense looking frown.

"Jade! At no point did I tell you to take that out of me. In fact, I rather liked it there and you on top of me." Tori's frown intensified even further. "Now I feel all empty and unloved"

Jade moved off the bed, looked down at the strop on, still attached to her and laughed darkly. "You're too much Vega. What the fuck am I going to do with you."

"Well, recent comment aside, unless you want me to pee in your bed, you may want to release me from these handcuffs." Then with a sly look Tori quipped. "Unless you like that sort of thing, then I can…"

"OK, OK, I'll release you." Jade barked as she ran to the bag from the sex store and pulled out the key. Then in rapid succession unlocked all four handcuffs. Then she pulled a black bathrobe out of the closet and threw it towards Tori.

Tori picked up the robe and thew it on, with a look of slight disappointment. "You mean you really don't want to…"

"NO!"

Tori lowered her head and shuffled slowly to the door, "And I thought you really loved me."

Jade sneered and pushed Tori towards to the door. "Really funny Vega. Just shut up and pee…..JUST NOT IN MY ROOM!"

As Tori left the room, she mockingly muttered, "Yes, Your majesty."

"I HEARD THAT!" Came a booming voice from Jade's room as soon as she closed the door behind her.

A few minutes came back into the room to see Jade, still naked, sitting on the edge of the bed with a somewhat dreamy expression. The strap on, now lay discarded on the floor.

Tori was quick to disrobe and sat down next to her. A second later, Jade put her arm around Tori and put her head on her shoulder. Every time she put her arm around Tori, she felt special. It was a wonderful feeling Jade could never get enough of.

"I would have never been truly happy, had you not awoken this part of me." Said Jade softly after a minute of silence.

"Are you?"

"Yes." Jade said as she pulled Tori just a bit closer.

"I'm glad and very happy too. And for the record, you've been through a lot the last few days, so you falling asleep, is perfectly understandable. In fact, it was damn cute. You'd better start to work out though, to build up your stamina. Because I plan to spend a lot of time…..Tiring you out."

Jade raised an eyebrow. "Do you?"

"Yes."

Jade raised her head and gave a Tori a quick peck on the cheek. "Good. I plan to do the same. I'm hungry, let's shower and go out and grab something to eat. There's a good burger place I know. I'll buy."

Standing up, Tori took Jade's hand. "An intense orgasm and burgers. I'm such a lucky girl."

"Damn Right." Jade smirked as she got up.

After a shower, where they spend about 5 minutes cleaning each other and about 15 fooling around, they got dressed and make up put on. Minutes later they were in Jade car and driving. The atmosphere in the car was relaxed and even bit playful, though Tori out of habit checked the back seat to see if there was a shovel there. There was not.

It took over 45 minutes to get to the burger joint, which consisted of a small white shack, surrounded by a number of picnic tables. Out front, was a faded sign saying "Billy's Burgers"

"Doesn't look like much." Tori quipped as they pulled into the parking lot.

"Don't be a snob, Vega!"

"We going to eat here?"

Jade got out of the car. "No, we're going to gab and go."

They ordered cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes and once they had their order in hand, they got in the car Jade started to drive towards the ocean.

"Where are we going Jade?"

Jade looked at Tori for a moment and smiled. "You'll see, it's not far. Just keep the bags of food closed, so everything keeps warm."

For the next 25 minutes, the pair drove, mostly talking about school and some new hair care products that Tori had tried out. Overall, it was a mundane conversation, but Jade enjoyed it none-the-less. She was with a person she now could admit she was in love with and there was a comfort in being with her.

Finally, they reached a bluff overlooking the ocean, where Jade pulled over.

"Here we are Tori. One of my favorite places."

Tori got out of the car, food in hand and looked about. She could see the bluff stretching on for a way in either direction, but the area seemed sparely inhabited. Only a few houses were in view.

Gesturing for Tori to follow, Jade walked to the edge of the bluff and sat down. "Come on. Let's eat"

Joining her, Tori looked and could easily figure out why this was one of Jade's favorite places. The bluff commanded stellar view of the ocean and the rocks below. The sun, partially obscured by clouds beginning to dip below the horizon.

"It's a beautiful View." Tori said as she passed a cheese burger to Jade.

"I think so. It's not just the view, but there's usually no one here. Only a few houses about. I like the feeling of isolation. I come here a lot. I can think here. I write here. Sometimes I just like to hear the sound of the ocean."

"Who else knows about this place?"

Jade took a drink of her milkshake, "Just you."

"Not Beck?"

Jade briefly scrunched her face. "No. It never even occurred to me to bring him here."

Tori took a moment to admire the sunset then looked down to the jagged rocks below. "Long way down. And No one knows I'm here?"

Jade smiled grimly and shoved a fry in her mouth. "If I wanted to push you off, I'd have done it already. Besides, I've grown rather attached to you in the last few days. And I can imagine that's why, I've found the thought of pushing you over the edge, not so fun anymore."

"But you did think of it." Tori deadpanned.

Jade was quick to smirk. "Of course, I did. I wouldn't be Jade if I didn't, now would I Tori. Part of the reason you love me."

Tori took a bite of her burger and looked to Jade. "I really do love you."

Blushing slightly, Jade leaned over and kissed Tori on the lips. "I love you. That's why you're here. I wanted to share it with you."

Tori couldn't help but feel quite honored to have been shown this particular spot. "Thank you."

For a few minutes, the pair ate in pleasant silence, watching a beautiful sunset. After appearing to think for a moment, jade tilted her head slightly with a more serious expression. "You took a big risk Tori. What you did the other night. Even though you planned out all these different scenarios and how to approach them, it still could have gone south. You're perfectly aware of how….unpleasant I can be, when I'm angry."

Tori nodded. "I know it could have gone south, and I knew just what you might do to me, if it did. But, at no point did I think you weren't worth the risk."

Tori then turned her attention to the sun, as it faded below the horizon. "I loved you. You're so beautiful. Devilishly smart, you're brave and everything I wanted in a woman. I wanted to be a part of your life so much. I just knew there was this part of you that wanted to be with me. If I didn't try, I know I would probably regret it for the rest of my life."

After taking a long drink of her milkshake, Jade nodded thoughtfully as she began to realize just how special the moment was starting to feel. "You were right and you succeeded. You unlocked this part of me, that I barely knew existed. That means a lot to me. You mean a lot to me. It was all quite a surprise."

"A good surprise, I hope."

"Very. It's all new and I will admit a bit overwhelming, but at the same time, it's special, wonderful and it feels so right. You got me so, so happy that look at me, I'm babbling openly about how I feel and haven't been a gank for at least the last 2 or 3 minutes."

"Wow 2 or 3 minutes, and we still have our clothes on. I must be doing something right. And I thought you just loved me for my body."

Jade, who had finished eating, moved over and put her arm around Tori. "It is a nice body. Mine is nicer thought. Feel free to agree."

"Well that was a fun 2 or 3 minutes." Said Tori as she cuddled herself up to Jade.

A slight chuckle from Jade was the only reply.

Nothing more was said for several minutes as both women, simply enjoyed being with each other. All they did was talk and watch the sunset, but each felt the moment was extremely special.

After a time, Jade said softly. "I won't always be the easiest person to live with."

"You're worth it and you always will be."

"So are you."

Nothing more was said, nothing more needed to be as they held each other and watched the moon rise over the ocean. They were both in love, both happy and both knew they never wanted to be apart.
