Zed and Addison had a great time the next few days. They spent their entire days out on the slopes, and Zed didn't even think about doing anything Addison didn't agree with. He didn't mention anything about the black diamonds again either. And they were back to being united, stronger than ever with all the time they were spending together. Missy and Dale let them do their own thing out in the cold all day, and of course, they kept each other warm each night. But by the fourth day, they were both were feeling the burn in their legs as if they were climbing the mountains all day, so Addison decided they'd spend the day inside doing other things to give their legs a break, but according to Addison, they would still be having lots of fun.

That morning they ate breakfast with Addison's parents before they headed out for more skiing. Meanwhile, Addison led Zed back to their room to fill him in on her plan for the day.

"So what exactly are you planning for today?"

"How would feel about a dip in the pool? That should be a good break from skiing."

"This place has a pool? Why didn't you tell me sooner? That sounds like so much fun. It's a good thing Zoey made me pack my swim trunks then. I'd thought those would be the last things I needed at a ski resort."

"I'll have to thank Zoey too then, cause I think we'll both have a wonderful time. I'm gonna go get changed in the bathroom, you can change in our room." Addison said, grabbing stuff out of her suitcase and heading out the door.

"You got it." Zed said, closing the door and rifling through his suitcase. He finally dug his dark green trunks out from where he had shoved them at the bottom and quickly pulled them on along with a gray tank top. He also found some flip-flops that Zoey must have thrown in without him noticing. So he put those on too. With what he was wearing he really hoped they wouldn't be traveling outside to reach the pool. Zed opened the door and sat down on the bed waiting for Addison to come out.

About a minute later Addison exited the bathroom dressed similar to him with a pink t-shirt and green shorts. She was holding two towels and threw one over to Zed that he easily caught. "You ready to go?" She asked.

"Yep, let's do this."

They walked to the elevator and traveled down several floors before stepping out again and Addison led him down a hallway to the left. They walked past the fitness center, and Zed couldn't help but stop and stare at it. "Did you know this was here? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want you to fall asleep on the ski lift or anything silly. And besides, you've been saying you've been getting plenty of workouts from skiing the last few days."

"True. OK I forgive you, but just this once." he teased her, placing a quick kiss on her cheek.

They continued their way and, scanning their key they entered the hotel's pool. To Zed's surprise it was completely deserted. "Where is everyone?" he asked.

"Well, they're probably all skiing, it's probably what most people do when they come to a ski resort." She laughed.

"Agreed, did you plan this so we could be all alone together?"

"Maybe. Unless you have a problem with that?"

"Absolutely not, I always want to be alone with you. You keep making Christmas vacation better and better."

"Well, we better enjoy our time while it lasts then, who knows when we'll be interrupted."

"Good point." Zed said, walking over to one of the many poolside chairs. He kicked off his flip-flops and pulled his tank top over his head. He turned back to Addison and found her stunned, with a fiery blush on her face.

"Like what you see Gorgeous?" Zed said with a flirtatious wink.

"Um yeah. Sorry, I shouldn't be staring but…wow." She sighed.

"I don't mind, but this view is for your eyes only." Zed said, further flexing his muscles.

"Hey stop that, how am I supposed to think about doing anything with you torturing me."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Zed said, continuing to stretch himself out in various poses.

"If you don't stop I won't be able to strip down to my swimsuit." Addison pouted, still unable to take her eyes off Zed's pale toned chest and cut abbs.

That finally got Zed to pause and his face was just barely starting to blush through his gray skin. "OK, take your time beautiful, I'll just be over here, minding my own business. Zed backed off slowly giving Addison some space but couldn't break the temptation and force his eyes to leave her.

Addison giggled, and blushing even more, slowly pulled her shorts down her legs before kicking them off to the side and then seeing Zed's face as pink as she had ever seen it, smiled wider as she pulled her shirt over her head and revealed her black two-piece bikini. Addison burst out laughing seeing the expression on Zed's face. His eyes were the size of dinner plates, his mouth hanging open slightly before he shook his head.

"Addiska, Gar Gar Gaza." Zed said in a deep voice. He shook his head again. "Sorry beautiful, my Zombie wanted to let you know how he feels."

"So you like what you see?" Addison asked still giggling, both from amusement and slightly from nervousness.

"Girl you look delicious." Zed said. "Sorry I shouldn't be staring. Um…how about we jump in the pool because right now I'm pretty sure I'm completely brainless seeing you just standing there." Zed said nervously.

"Whatever you say, but trust me I'm in the exact same boat as you."

Addison sauntered over to the edge of the pool and began to slowly lower herself down the stairs.

Zed took the more direct approach. Running to the edge of the pool and jumping up with roar, he shouted "CANNONBALL!" and created a tidal wave that swamped over Addison as well as half the room.

"Zed!" Addison yelled in mock anger.

"Sorry beautiful, but that's the only way to enter a pool."

"I have to disagree with you there." Addison said, wiping some of the water out of her eyes.

"I'm sorry but it's not my fault, my brain isn't gonna be back at full capacity until you put some clothes on."

"At least I know you think I'm pretty."

"You are way more than that, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on and now I can say without a doubt definitely the hottest."

"Thank you. I have to say, you aren't so bad yourself." Addison said, walking closer. "You know it's a good thing Christmas has already passed."

"And why's that?"

"Because what I'm thinking about right now would definitely put me on the naughty list."

"Oh please you're always the perfect angel, in fact, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

"Nope, you caught me remember?"

"How could I forget, but I think you should fly again."

"What?" Addison asked before Zed grabbed her around the waist. Both of them shivering in excitement at the close contact, before Zed lifted her up and threw her out of the water and she landed with a splash.

When Addison got her bearings again, she playfully glared at Zed but couldn't keep the smile off her face. "Not funny buster."

"Oh no, am I in trouble?"

"Yes you are."

"You have to catch me first." Zed shouted. Before diving down and swimming away into deeper water on the other side of the pool.

Addison swam after him and was surprised that she was soon gaining on him. But she quickly realized while she had years of swimming lessons and knew all the proper strokes, Zed was more or less doggy paddling.

Zed surfaced for air and turned around. "Ahh!" He let out a shout of surprise that Addison was only a few feet away from him. "How did you catch me?"

"Between you and me, your doggy paddle is adorable but it isn't designed for speed."

"Well then fine, you caught me. So what's my punishment?" Zed asked as he started treading water.

"I don't know." Addison said coyly. Swimming closer to him. "It depends on the rest of your behavior today. I'll make my decision later."

"Oof so does that mean I'm in trouble still?"

"Depends on if you can make it up to me."

"Looks like that's what I'm gonna have to do then. Do you wanna play a game?"

"Sure like what?"

"Hmm, I don't really know. If you told me your plan before I could have brought a football or something to play with…How about Marco Polo? That should be fairly simple."

"OK sound's good. But you have to find me first."

"Alright. But how about we have to stay in the shallow half of the pool."

"Alright."

They both swam to the other end of the pool and Zed started counting and the game was on. "Marco!" Zed called out, his eyes closed and his arms spread wide to try to feel for Addison.

"Polo!" Addison called already near the opposite side of the pool.

"Marco!" Zed said again, turning towards the sound of her voice.

Addison dove down and quietly swam away underwater to avoid him. "Polo!" she called out again now a safe distance away.

Zed homed in on her new location and started running through the water to try to catch her, but she managed to successfully slip away. The game continued for several minutes like that until Zed managed to block Addison near a corner and using his advanced hearing was able to grab her foot as she was swimming away.

"Haha Got you!" Zed said, opening his eyes before releasing her foot.

"Took you long enough." Addison laughed.

"You think you can do better?"

"I know I can." Addison promised him with a grin.

They started again, after only a few rounds Addison was able to catch up to Zed using her superior swimming skills and taking advantage of Zed's lack thereof.

"See I told you I could find you faster." Addison said, still holding onto his wrist.

"Fine, you win. What else can we do? I know how about we have a competition to see who can hold their breath the longest."

"Wait a minute hold up, let me guess, that's a zombie power you have? Holding your breath for a really long time?"

"Maybe, but I've never swum with a human before so I don't know, and with how excellent a swimmer you are I bet you can still beat me."

"I still think you're planning on cheating but I'll bite. Ready?"

"OK On the count of three."

"One, Two, Three!" They shouted out at the same time before diving down. Both had their eyes wide open staring at each other under the water. They tried to maintain eye contact, but Addison could quickly tell that her guess was right. Zed looked just as relaxed underwater as he did above it. Addison held out for as long as possible, but she quickly had to surface for air.

Once she took a breath she looked down to see Zed still calmly looking up at her. So she waited, and waited, and waited some more, much too long for any normal human to stay under. Until Zed finally surfaced with a grin on his face.

"I knew you would cheat." Addison playfully pouted.

"How was I supposed to know human lungs are so weak? I really thought with all the aquatic skills you've shown so far you would have beat me for sure."

"You're just saying that."

"Yeah, I am. I got you good didn't I?"

"No, since I knew this was going to happen."

"Fine. What next? How about a cannonball contest to see who can make the biggest splash?"

"I'm not going to try that with you, you've already proven how adept you are that, and I can tell, you're crazy enough to do even more."

"Fine then what do you want to do?"

"How about a race?"

"So something you know you'll win."

"Fine how about…Addison tried to think of more things to do before something caught her eye in the corner of the room. "How about we take a break from swimming and…heat things up?"

"Hmm, what do you have in mind?"

"Follow me and see." Addison said, diving down and swimming away. Zed also followed her underwater and soon they were climbing out of the pool and Zed finally figured out where she was heading.

"I like where this going."

"You better not cannonball into this one, you'll probably burn yourself, and me."

"Don't worry, no cannonballs I promise."

They walked up to the edge and simultaneously slipped into the hot tub, going slowly enough to barely make a splash in the water.

When they were both mostly submerged Zed let out a long sigh of relief. "Aww. This feels great." Further relaxing until only his head and shoulders were above the water.

"Yeah, it does." Addison said, sitting down beside him.

"Hey, we should have come here every day after spending all day in the snow. Forget the fireplace I'd never feel cold again if we did this instead."

"But I think it's worth the wait."

"Yeah, you're right." Zed said, turning his head to smile at her. "So I know we've spent practically every second with each other the last few days, but how does this vacation compare to the others?"

"Wonderful, Amazing, Great, best time ever because I get to spend all this time alone with you. Trust me none of this compares to any of the past. How has it been for you?"

"Exactly the same as you described it. This was a great first vacation. I love this place, both because of all the memories I'm making with you, but also because no one here knows I'm a zombie, people maybe take a second look at my green hair, but other than that everyone is treating me like a person, and all the staff people actually treat me with respect. I don't know why I expected people to still hate me but I guess none of them have seen a zombie before and I'm just cool different."

"I'm so…now I'm both happy for you, and mad that you had to come to a ski resort in the middle of nowhere to be treated like a person. That isn't right." Addison reached out and Zed gladly extended his arm so that both had their arms wrapped behind the other's back, both pulling the other close.

"I didn't tell you this before, because it could have given away the surprise, but that day Bonzo and I were looking for Christmas gifts, or just me and Bonzo was helping. Anyway, after I bought your bracelet, Bonzo and I were walking out of the mall and a mall cop stopped us to do a quote random security check to help prevent shoplifting."

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. What did you do?" Addison asked, pulling herself closer and running her hand through Zed's emerald hair.

"We just acted polite and handed over our stuff for him to manhandle his way through. He even took your bracelet out of the box to inspect it, and he basically accused me of stealing it until I showed him the receipt."

"Who does he think he is? He's so lucky I wasn't there, I wish I was though. When we went with Eliza we didn't have any problems, though that could be because Bree and I were with her."

"It got me down, I started thinking that Seabrook hadn't changed as much as I thought but then Bonzo gave me a pep talk and knocked some sense back into me."

"Good, at least he was with you if I wasn't."

"As much as I would love it, I know you can't be with me everywhere Addie."

"I know, if only it were possible. I'll ask my mom if there's some kind of reporting system for idiots like that, who can't ignore the zombiephobia of the past."

"Thank you, I know you'd do anything for me, just like I will always do anything for you."

"And don't you forget it." Addison pressed a quick peck on his cheek.

"So…back to happier topics, I believe you said we could heat things up." Zed said, wiggling his eyebrows flirtatiously.

"I did say that didn't I?"

"Well I'm starting to get a little cold I think I'll need your help to warm back up again."

"I think I can help with that, I can't have you freezing on me. Addison stood up and then turned around so she was facing Zed and straddling his lap, she snaked her arms around his neck. While Zed automatically placed his hands softly around her petite waist.

Zed swallowed nervously in anticipation. "Are you sure you want to do this because I don't want to pressure you or anything."

Addison leaned back a bit to give him some space. "Absolutely but only if you are too. I don't want to pressure you either."

"I do, more than you know, I've been trying to keep my eyes above the water to keep from going brainless all morning." Zed confessed.

"Trust me, I feel the exact same way because boy you look delicious." Addison said, but keeping her eyes locked on Zed's. "But we won't do anything either of us are uncomfortable with."

"Well if we both agree then there's only one thing to do." Zed slowly started leaning forward towards Addison.

"Now you're getting fearless." Addison felt her breath catch slightly before pulling herself closer to Zed and they once again met in the middle. They started off slow and sweet, taking their time to savor every moment, gently pressing against each other, their eyes closed and completely numb to the entire world except for their beloved in front of them.

After taking a breath where Zed opened his eyes and with a devilish grin leaned forward and started trailing light kisses from her collar bone up along her neck and even playfully nibbled her earlobe before moving back to her cheek and once again locking on to her lips.

Addison couldn't help but gasp and start giggling from the pleasure. Her shaking only made Zed's grip around her waist tighten to keep her from slipping off and brought them even closer together.

Zed once again paused for breath and this time Addison went on the attack. She moved her hands away from his neck and instead circled his muscular chest, and now she was the one gently trailing kisses from his collarbone and along his jawline, she playfully nipped his ear, and she heard Zed gasp from the shock, but didn't let up until she too returned to his lips.

This time both started pushing harder, lips pressing with more strength and after a few seconds, their tongues started battling for dominance. Neither giving an inch, both letting out involuntary squeals and growls of pleasure as they fought against each other.

Zed let out a louder growl than before and moved forward and stood up so that both were raised half out of the water. Addison lifted her legs and wrapped them around his waist and Zed moved his arms up her back to keep her secure, by now they were pressed chest to chest, lips still locked together doing anything in their power to get even closer to the one they loved. Zed continued standing up in the water and just aimlessly walked circles around the hot tub as they continued, both occasionally taking brief respites to plant more kisses along the other's neck and shoulders before coming back into shared contact with the other's lips. Neither wanted to give up the fiery passion and love burning from their cores, much hotter than the water surrounding them. Both were completely speechless, eyes closed in pure bliss, only focused on their lips' next target.

After several intense minutes they separated for air again and, locking eyes, both knew exactly what the other was thinking. They met one last time, this final kiss slowly drawn out, long and sweet, kept much gentler than the flurry of kisses that had preceded it. Both held on for as long as possible, neither wanted it to end until they were forced to by their annoying need of oxygen.

They stayed wrapped around each other, Zed lightly sitting down on the bench underwater, and Addison calmly resting her head on his shoulder. "Gar Gar Gaza." She whispered in his ear.

"Gar Gar Gaza." Zed softly returned, gently nuzzling his nose into her wet hair. They stayed sitting in that position in perfect harmony for several minutes, both trying to recover their breath and put their thoughts back in order.

Addison pulled away slightly so she could look at Zed's handsome face. "Well, that was amazing."

"I couldn't agree more. That was something else."

"It's official, this is definitely the best vacation ever."

"Same."

"It's your first vacation silly."

"And nothing will ever top it, you've set the bar way to high."

"I think that sounds like a challenge."

"Don't tempt me, and besides if your parents knew about this, this would be my last vacation ever since I'd be locked away in containment and your dad would throw away the key."

"Yeah probably, this will have to be our little secret."

"I don't plan on telling anyone, besides I think our friends will have enough questions if they find out we've been sharing a bed this week."

"You're right but if you do come again next year we are definitely doing this again. I don't know anywhere in Seabrook we'd get guaranteed privacy as great as this."

"So I need to stay on your parents' nice list all year long? Now that sounds like a challenge."

"Or who knows I'll have to stay on your dad's good side too, so he'll let you come."

"Please you'd have to…I don't know burn our house down or something to get him to hate you. He loves you, almost as much as me, in fact probably more than me since he's never had to get mad at you for messing with my Z-band, or all the other dumb things I've done over the years."

Addison laughed, "As long as you listen to me, I think we'll both stay out of trouble. But I bet next year my dad will book four bedrooms to make sure we don't get an excuse to sleep together."

"Well, it's a good thing we still have two more nights to enjoy it."

"Speaking of which, we should probably go back up before someone interrupts us down here."

"Good idea." Zed said, still holding tightly to Addison he carried her up the stairs and over to their clothes and towels.

"Zed you can put me down, I can walk." She giggled.

"Maybe I just want to keep holding you close for as long as I can."

"Yeah, yeah." Addison said as he finally set her down and both grabbed their towels to dry off. Zed was about to grab his shirt when Addison interrupted him with a blush on her face. "Ohh Zed, how about we get a few pictures?"

"Oh sure, wait a minute, is this a trap? Because this feels like a trap."

"Well I want to make sure we remember this day, and hey if we ever need a pick me up after a bad day, we'll have them to cheer ourselves up."

"Or let me guess, you just want to make sure you can stare at my perfectly toned body whenever you want." Zed said, once again flexing his muscles.

"Maybe," Addison continued blushing scarlet, "but fine we don't have to if you don't want to."

"Woah, I didn't say that Beautiful, I just wanted you to admit it first before I did, I think that sounds like a great idea."

So they each took turns taking pictures of each other, and then snapped a few together, with Zed's arm wrapped around Addison's shoulder.

"Those for your eyes only alright."

"Of course they are, why would I want to share my greatest treasure with anyone, and besides either Pops would ground me, Bonzo would take one look and then would never talk to me again, and Eliza would either slap me or tease me until the day I died. Zoey would probably be the best reaction, she would just demand I bring her swimming next time."

"OK I get it, I promise these are for my eyes only too."

"Good I wouldn't want that spread around the school I'm sure all the guys would be jealous and I'd have a mob of fangirls chasing after me." Zed joked.

"Are you sure? You don't look so hot."

"Ouch. Based on your behavior today I think it's a pretty safe bet you're trying to lie to me."

"Whatever, just don't get carried away in your fantasies."

"Again this is a trap, you giving me a picture of you looking like that." Zed said, as they both put their shirts back on to their mutual disappointment.

"I trust you with it, I'm the one who asked for it remember? Let's go back upstairs and then we can grab lunch somewhere."

"Now that's another plan I can get behind."

They returned to their room and each took turns in the shower to rinse off the chlorine before heading back down to the hotel's restaurant. As Zed had mentioned before, for once in his life no one gave him any trouble about being a zombie. They ate a delicious meal once again before they took some hot chocolate to go.

They walked around for a bit looking at everything there was to do and they eventually stumbled upon the game room, which was also deserted. So they spent a few hours playing different games against each other. Zed won a game of free-throw shooting thanks to his hours of basketball practice. But then Addison completely crushed him playing ski ball. Next, they played several games of table tennis, and both were evenly matched. They kept playing match after match, neither wanting to accept defeat, until Addison was finally able to win two matches in a row and claim victory. For her prize Zed expertly retrieved a white teddy bear from a claw machine and happily presented it to Addison.

"For you, my lady, to the victor go the spoils."

"Thank you, Zed." Addison said, hugging it to her chest. "I think I'll call him Snowball. But he'll have to wait to sleep with me until we're back home."

"So I have more competition now?"

"Nope trust me, in that game you'll win every time."

Later that night, they settled down to sleep, and as Addison promised, Snowball was sitting on the bedside table, with Zed resuming his position beside her.

"Goodnight Zed, sweet dreams."

"Oh I know I will, and I'll give you two guesses who I'll be dreaming about."

"Hmm, I wonder who, I bet it's Bonzo isn't it?" Addison said teasingly.

"Nope try again, I already know I'll be reliving today with my favorite cheerleader in my head, because today was the perfect paradise, and I want to go back as soon as possible."

"I know, too bad we only have one more day here."

"Oof, don't remind me I only have two more nights with you in my arms."

"I don't want to think about it either, Snowball could never replace you."

"But hey if I have to wait a whole year to do this again, I gladly will."

"I know, but I don't intend to wait a year."

"What are you thinking now?"

"Well, like you said, you can turn off your tracker and if we're smart and stealthy I see no reason why we can't try this again every so often."

"I like the way you're thinking I can almost see it. Besides if they let us do it this week, both our parents probably won't kill us if they find out, they'll still be mad, but we'll still be alive."

Addison let out a yawn, "I say we are definitely doing this again someday, but I'm too tired to plan everything right now. I think you wore me out today."

"Don't say that too loudly, Zed whispered, "your parents know we went swimming today, but we also did a lot more than swimming.

"I know, it was one of the best days of my life, I'm sure I'll be dreaming about my zombie too."

"Sweet dreams Addie. I love you, goodnight." He said, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.

"Goodnight Zed, I love you too."

"Gar Gar Gaza."

"Gar Gar Gaza."
