While most of Kingston Castle remained asleep as the sun finally began to peek over the horizon, Michael Kingston led a group of fatigued but equally determined friends and loved ones out into the Courtyard to begin what many hoped would be the salvation of the entirety of the world. They hoped to achieve what no mortal had done in recorded history: to embark on a journey to the Realm of Arceus and speak directly with the creator of all life. Though some had their doubts if this would succeed, they all kept silent as they gathered on the dew covered grass.

His mind a mess from events that had preceded this, Michael was content to simply be back to doing what he thought he was best at: taking matters into his own hands. Julia's fate was out of his control, but that didn't mean he could not make a difference for someone else he felt he had let down. He and his cousin had agreed to do whatever it took to help Addison overcome any doubts and worries she might have if they could. Even if it meant going to the most powerful being in the universe to see if he might be able to help. With Celebi by his side, floating around him and filling him with positive energy, he could only hope that it would be enough for him to make amends for all the mistakes he had made.

Behind him came Piper, who despite the intensive worrying she had for Julia's well being and that of the rest of her diminished family, still went into this important day with someone else on her mind. Having assumed his role as Guardian of Manaphy was one thing. But it was quickly approaching seven months since she had last even been in the presence of Christopher Kingston, the man she was sure without a shadow of a doubt was the one for her. One way or another, she would get an answer about him. If he had indeed reached out to her or if she had just been daydreaming, as well as the possibility of him coming back before their battle with Mewtwo. The fear of her life ending without being able to see him once more was horrifying to her. A simple answer was all she needed. And if this plan worked, she was sure Arceus might finally answer one of her prayers.

Third came Mark, his arm still in a sling after being shot by Hunter, but equally as determined to make amends and set things right as the rest of their group. In his own personal case, his Pokemon took top priority. Not just the Pikachu and Charizard that had remained loyal to him despite Mewtwo's proclamations. But those who had been lost and ran off. Those who had felt they might get abused or mistreated. He was bound to prove to them that he would never harm them and show just how much he cared for all of them he had lost. With the ArcNet Team working vigorously to read and transfer data away from the flash drive that had hijacked millions of Pokemon from Trainer's PC's, his focus could now solely be on those Pokemon who were not in his PC. The ones he needed the most if his team were to stand a chance against Mewtwo and whatever he had been scheming all this time.

Fourth came Lizzie, herself just as muddled as Michael, but for different reasons. Things had changed for her since the encounter with Hunter. Not only was one of her greatest enemies finally vanquished after over a decade of torment, but she was beginning to be treated differently by the others. Not in a derogatory way, but they all seemed to know something about her that even she didn't. She had once been someone that Justin Jacques could feel comfortable with, but now she did not feel that way about him. Had he done something to change her? Was she changing without her consent? What would happen if this change became too stimulating for her to handle? She needed something to help find some sense of normality in her life and was beginning to think Arceus might be the only hope she would get. Especially with all of her friends either too distracted or too meddlesome to be trusted at this time.

Following her came Matthew, his own determination to help Addison rejuvenated by his reconciliation with Michael. Somehow, no matter how much she may not want his help or may even still have bitterness towards him for their troubled past (which was completely justified), he would do everything in his power to give her any bit of confidence she might need. His own quest for redemption could wait. Especially when a friend was in need. And even more importantly if that person meant as much to him as she did. Even if the feeling was most definitely not mutual.

Rounding out the group of six was Cameron, who was now in the uncomfortable position of being the rock everyone was leaning on. With Michael's resolve crumbling day after day and Piper now seemingly hallucinating visions of her brother, she needed to be the sense of morality and weariness they could cling to. Which was not an easy task considering how confused and hurt she was. Her brother was still missing on Mirage Island, she and Cynthia were in a very awkward position since she apparently drunkenly tried to make a move on her and her successful trapping of Hunter being downplayed with fears of Julia leaving them all behind. Though she loved Michael immensely, as a brotherly figure she could look to for guidance, she could not bear to see him in anymore pain. The nightmare had to end. The tide needed to turn. And once Lizzie approached her about the possibility of this ritual working, she knew she needed to take the chance. The very survival of Arcana might depend on it.

Lizzie was reading from the book she had borrowed from the library. "Legend says that if the Six Mythological Pokemon are gathered together by their faithful Guardians, the gates of the Celestial Plains would open and the Realm of Arceus be made accessible." She tried to read the rest, but it seemed to be written in some kind of ancient language and she thus chose to ignore it. "Okay, the diagram shows that we need to stand within a ring of light that the Mythical Pokemon would create for us. And then we should be able to use it to transport us to where Arceus is."

"If the legends are true" Michael responded. "I still have my doubts."

"We need to hold onto this" Lizzie insisted. "It might be our only opportunity."

One by one, each of the Six Mythical Pokemon were brought out. All six happily came together and shined with a mysterious aura that even the most skeptical of their group had to realize was something special. Once their little dance was over, each of the six bounded down to an area in the grass, a bright and shining beam of colored light shining from them and into the skies. Victini glowed a scarlet red, shooting it's fiery beam into the skies and letting it shine as bright as a star. Jirachi fired a Meteor Blast in the same direction as Victini, with it taking on an Orange glow. Celebi's light aura sparked a powerful Solarbeam that radiated yellow-colored energy like the sun. Shaymin's Energy Ball attack created a Greenish color that joined the spectrum of light. Manaphy shot an aquatic beam into the skies, showering the beams with a pure one of it's own. Lastly, Mew fired a telekinetic beam of it's own that radiated the color of amethyst. All six major colors of the rainbow illuminated the courtyard and felt as if the group were already well on their way to the Realm of Arceus. To be the first mortals who would ever set foot in his domain must have been a daunting ask, but they all hoped it would be one they were up for.

But the lights were all that was transpiring. Piper looked over to Lizzie. "Shouldn't there be more to this?"

Lizzie looked through the book and back at the diagram once more. "I think we need to join hands like the group in the picture did."

"Oh is that all?" Cameron rolled her eyes. "Do we need to do 'Ring Around the Rosie' next?"

"Oh lighten up" Michael snapped. "We have to try it, anyway. No matter how ridiculous it may look."

One by one, the group came together in a ring within the beams of energy swirling around them. Michael linked to Piper, who joined with Mark, who took Lizzie in, who brought Matthew in, who finally compelled a reluctant Cameron to close out their ring. As all hands locked together, the group closed their eyes and waited. And they waited. And they waited.

"I don't think it's working" Matthew responded sadly.

"What are we doing wrong?" Mark inquired.

"The rest of it is written in some foreign language" Lizzie insisted. "What else do you expect from me?"

"A clear set of instructions would have helped" Cameron barked. "Now we just look ridiculous like this."

"Oh, how I wish we could just get there already" Piper cried out.

Jirachi, upon noticing this, winked his eye at her and the second wishing tag from the top of it's head faded away. The lights around them moved faster and faster until the colors all vanished and the bright beacon of light shot down and engulfed everyone within it.

"AAAAHHHHHH!" they all collectively screamed.

Michael squeezed his eyes shut as the group felt the warmth of the light shining down on them, his grip on Cameron and Piper tightening until the heat began to die down and be replaced with a comfortable morning breeze. When he opened them, he was in awe. The courtyard of Kingston Castle was gone. Surrounding them was cream-colored clouds that rolled along peacefully as if nothing else mattered to them. The sun was shining brightly in front of them, illuminating a long and daunting staircase made entirely of rainbow. His attention returned to his group. "We're here."

"We're what?" Mark asked, as the group let go of one another and took in the sights.

"This is incredible" Cameron exclaimed. "I wouldn't have believed it if we weren't here."

"The Realm of Arceus" Matthew remarked. "It's beautiful."

"But I don't understand" Piper wondered. "How did we get here when all other paths failed?"

"I have an answer" Lizzie called over. The group looked over to Lizzie and noticed that the second Wish Tag had disappeared from Jirachi's star-like crown. Lizzie cradled Jirachi in her arms, but the Wishing Star Pokemon did not seem to care and was just happy to have been able to help. "Two wishes down and one to go. Piper, it's because of you that we got here."

Piper blushed. "I wouldn't have thought that-"

"Well, we're here" Cameron called impatiently. "Where is Arceus?"

Michael pointed towards the stairway into the bright lights above. "I would have to guess there." Everyone in the group looked at their Mythical Pokemon, who were already bouncing up and down excitedly to go and see what lie ahead. They all shot up the staircase as quickly as light traveled across the galaxy, with their trainers following at a much slower pace. While he wanted to temper his expectations of what they might encounter, he felt a bit of an extra pep in his step as they climbed the mighty stairs leading deeper into the Realm of Arceus, or as Lizzie's book had called it, The Celestial Plains.

"We're the first humans to ever make it to this place?" Matthew asked the group.

"The first living ones" Mark corrected. "All humans deemed worthy by Arceus come to this place to rest for eternity when they die. It's amazing to behold though, with our mortal eyes."

"All those lessons we used to get from Grandma and Grandpa" Cameron recalled, "they used to make it as if our eyes couldn't understand the beauty of his realm while we lived. Do you think that's why all we see are clouds?"

Michael shrugged. "Maybe that's how our mortal eyes are able to picture things too beautiful for us to comprehend."

"Do you think they'll be here?" Matthew wondered aloud.

"I don't think we'll be here long enough to find out" Piper suggested. "We're here to see Arceus. If he can see us, he will. If he can't, I guess we get sent home."

As he was a step ahead of the others, Michael was the first to find out what lied for them ahead at the top of the stairs. He froze in place. Though he was sure his eyes wouldn't cheat him like this, he could not find the energy or the heart to progress another step forward. She was there. In bright and celestial robes reminiscent of an angel, but she was there as he had last seen her. The chestnut-colored hair, the bright and caring eyes and the warm and welcoming smile he had seen almost all of his childhood. Though he was not sure she had seen him yet, his heart began to ache longingly for her once more. He did not even notice the others bumping into him as he remained on the top step.

"What's the matter?" Mark asked. "Who is she?"

"She must be an angel in service of Arceus" Lizzie suggested. "They are just as beautiful as the songs say."

"Why does she look so familiar?" Matthew inquired.

Piper and Cameron, though, were at Michael's side and were just as dumbstruck as he was. Piper's jaw was only being held up by sheer will despite her absolute shock at the turn of events. Cameron, for all her talk of being the tough one and never showing emotion, was as petrified of what she saw as Michael was. The six all came to the top step and stood in attention until the angel turned to greet them.

Once she had noticed them, she turned and gave them a warm greeting. "Welcome, Guardians of the Myths. Faithful followers of His Word. It is not everyday that mortals are free to enter the Celestial Plains. I trust you all have warm and welcoming hearts."

"It can't be" Piper exclaimed. "Lady...Lady Jane?"

"We Servants of Arceus do not retain our names once we transcend to his plane of existence" she explained. "Though I may bear a striking resemblance to one you may have known, here, I am only a servant of The Creator."

"But I know it's you" Piper declared, when she noticed both Michael and Cameron too stunned to even speak. "We saw you at the strange waterfall on Mirage Island. Surely you can remember seeing your son again? Helping him let go of your spirit?"

The angel paused. Her eyes seemed to be moving to each and every one of them, though it seemed at first that she could only see blank faces of those who followed the words and creeds of Arceus. She could not keep up the facade, if she even was, when her eyes fell upon the young woman who bore the same colored hair as she did. The tears the angel wept dissipated into mist almost immediately, but the memory was restored. She took a step forward. "Cameron? Is that my little Cameron?"

Though Matthew was confused by this angel's actions, he was nearly knocked off his feet as Cameron sprinted forward and embraced the angel, crying hysterically in her arms. He tugged at Michael's sleeve, but got no response from him. He then grabbed Piper's arm. "What's going on? Who is she?"

"Lady Jane Kingston" she answered. "Chris and Cameron's mother."

"That's Jane Kingston?" Lizzie cried out. "She's so beautiful."

"No wonder she left such an impact on you all" Mark laughed.

Michael could not react or emote any more beyond just sheer shock. When he had last seen her, she was promising him that even though he had to leave, so long as he held her in his heart, he would never be alone. The only person who had stood by his side after he was branded. The only person who had ever unconditionally loved him. The woman who had given her life so that he, Chris and Cam could live on. He felt himself breathing lightly as he saw Cameron shaking in her mother's arms.

"Look at you" Jane remarked proudly. "You're all grown up, just like your brother."

"Mo-Mo-mo-Mo-mo-Mo-Mommy!" Cameron wheezed, sliding to her knees as she held her mother.

Jane kissed the crown of her daughter's head. "Oh, my precious baby girl. I've missed you so." She tilted her daughter's head up and smiled. "I'm here, sweetheart."

"Mom" Cameron repeated, her eyes swelling with tears.

"You see?" Piper grinned. "A mother's love lasts for all eternity."

Jane looked past her at the rest of the group, in particular Piper herself. "Ah, Miss Pines. The caretaker of my son's heart."

Piper's cheeks turned a deep shade of red. "Well, I-"

Jane gently let go of her daughter and helped her to stand up on her own once more. She eyed the remainder of the group and bowed. "It's good to finally meet all of you for the first time. It is my honor to welcome you all to The Celestial Plains. Mark Lionel, Lizzie West, Robert's son and-" She paused when she recognized the sixth and final member who had made it to the realm. As she and Michael locked eyes, her eyes became as big and bright as they had been when she had reunited with her daughter only a moment ago. Her smile grew wide and she opened her arms wide. "Michael."

"Aunt Jane, I-" Michael began, only to receive an eyebrow raise from the woman who had raised him. Unable to contain himself a moment longer, he followed in Cameron's footsteps and embraced her, only this time picking up the angel as he spun her around in the first true burst of joy he had had in his life since his son was born. "Mom!"

"My little Michael" Jane giggled. "I am so happy to see you. And so proud of you." As Michael lowered her, she bent his head down and kissed his head. "And that kind of pride is one a mother never loses for her children." She put her hands on his cheeks. "You've been so strong for so long, Michael. Your Grandfather and I were so afraid for you. But here you are. Everything we hoped you would be." She found herself shedding more angelic tears. "Thank you, Michael. Thank you for being there for Chris and Cam when I couldn't be."

"I wish I could have saved Chris" Michael admitted.

"You did" Jane answered warmly. "You helped him become the man he was always meant to be. You all did." She took a step back and spoke to all of them again. "I thank you all. So much, for all you've done for my children." She eyed Michael and kept a bright smile. "All three of them."

"Wait, Michael's your son?" Matthew cried out.

Jane sighed. "Not exactly."

"Let's just say your Aunt Erin isn't going to be getting any 'Mother of the Year' awards anytime soon" Mark whispered to Matthew.

"Mom?" Cameron asked in disbelief. "I don't understand. What are you doing here?"

"When one lives their life for the benefit of others, they are offered the opportunity to join Arceus in the Celestial Plains." She held her hand close to her heart. "After I was taken prisoner by that wicked Cassius, I knew my time was coming for me. I had defended Michael with such vigor in his trial and was certain that once he was exiled, that Giselle's thugs would be coming for me as well. Sure enough, they came and I was tortured to the point of death by that awful scientist. My only thoughts were how my three children were safe. Even if they were apart and afraid, I was sure they would be brought together again, soon enough. But in my final moments, a being of light appeared before me. I could not tell what it was, nor if it was my mind playing a trick on me. But it told me that I have been a dutiful servant of Arceus and that my suffering would not be for nothing. I took the hand of my angel and was whisked here, though I am not sure if I left behind a body or not." She looked to the bright clouds and the sun shining above. "When I arrived, I found others who had been welcomed into the service of Arceus."

"Is Grandpa one of them?" Michael asked.

"I haven't met all of them, so it is a possibility" she answered. "Servants of Arceus are blessed with a ceaseless amount of joys and delights to them, all for simply sharing in his wonder and glory. Some of his servants are sent to welcome others who are destined for these halls. Some help ferry those souls to Mystic Island where they may rest and await his glorious judgment. Others serve as gatekeepers and messengers, delivering the words of the fallen to their loved ones. Sometimes to instill confidence, other times to show them the light. I volunteered for this task. I serve as the gatekeeper for Arceus himself. If anyone wishes to seek his counsel, be they mortal or ascended, they come to me. And in return for our unwavering loyalty, my soul is able to be at peace for all eternity." Her attention returned to the group in front of her. "I trust you all are here for that."

Lizzie nodded. "If you please, Lady Jane. We need to see Arceus right away."

"The fate of the Pokemon and people of Earth is at stake" Mark added.

"We know" Jane replied softly. "It is often on his mind if it would be prudent for him to destroy Mewtwo himself. He could, but there is a catch."

"You mean, Arceus could just as easily destroy Mewtwo?" Matthew wondered. "Addison doesn't need to bother?"

"When Arceus gives judgment to those in his flock, it is given with regard for the subject's strengths and powers. If he were to judge one such as you, Matthew, it would not require much of his strength. If he were to judge, for example, one of the Legendary Birds of Kanto, it would require a great deal of strength." Her face darkened. "But in his quest to grab power, Mewtwo has reached levels of power that make even the mightiest of all beings quiver in fear. The judgment required to destroy Mewtwo would be immense. It could be done, but at great cost."

"How great?" Cameron asked.

"It would destroy the entire planet" Jane concluded.

"WHAT?!" all six visitors cried out at once.

"Destroy the planet?" Piper gasped.

"But all the people" Lizzie worried. "And their Pokemon..."

"Which is why he is very reluctant to do so" Jane alleviated. "The power of this man made Pokemon is dangerous if unchecked. But His Excellency is also aware of events unfolding on Earth. Including your daring rescue of the Mythical Pokemon from that dastardly poacher and the rise of this foretold White Mage." She giggled. "It would seem Countess Rosemary is hard at work as we speak trying to instruct Miss Tenton on her ordained destiny."

"And we need to help her" Matthew barked proudly. "No matter the cost."

"So, do you think we'll be able to see Arceus?" Michael requested.

"Yes" Jane answered. "He will appear before each of you. But he requests the privacy of one person at a time, as the subjects of one's personal matters may be discussed." She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Your Excellency. The Six Guardians of the Mythical Pokemon have arrived. They wish to seek an audience with you."

A voice responded to Jane's request. It was neither fierce, nor domineering. It was gentle, yet stoic. Reverential, yet welcoming. Peaceful, yet concise. I shall see them. One at a time. Will the Guardian of Celebi, please step forward.

Michael looked to the others, a nervous smile on his face. "Well, here we go." He then turned towards his Aunt Jane, the mother he had always wanted, who smiled and offered him her arm. When he took it, he thought he could feel a strange gust of wind. When he realized they had not moved, he looked around. The others were frozen in time. "What the-"

"It's okay, Michael" Jane answered soothingly. "It's easier for him to appear this way."

Michael's attention was drawn to the clouds in front of him. They were beginning to take shape and form. As each cloud began to shift and move together as one, a tremendous clap of thunder shook the realm around the two. Three large and white clouds finally dominated over the others and formed the being that Michael knew was the divine being who created the entire world. It was equine in nature, with a long and sleek body reminiscent of the white clouds of the Celestial Realm, save for the gray, vertically-striated underside. To his surprise, the gray began to take form all across the white, forming what he could only assume would be the face, tail and mane of the Pokemon. Four gold plated hooves shined like the sun as the being took on it's true spirit. From out of its head, shot the colors of emerald and ruby to form it's eyes. Two extrusions appeared on the side of his neck. Lastly, a strange wheel-like cross appeared around it's body, which no doubt allowed him to change forms as it suited him. For Michael, the wheel began to spin and shine with a peculiar green glow.

The Pokemon's eyes found his visitor, but his demeanor did not change. His voice remained as peaceful and tranquil as it had been before. Ah. The King of Arcana has come to my realm.

Michael immediately fell to one knee. "Oh mighty Arceus."

Be not afraid, Michael. Please. Rise. Michael did as he was told and still stood at attention. I have watched you for many years, Michael. Your devotion to the people of Arcana is strong. It would appear your Grandfather and your chosen mother have had quite the impact on you. Do not fear that your suffering has gone unnoticed by us here. The struggles you have endured for the sake of others will be greatly rewarded.

"Arceus" Michael sputtered nervously. "I-I ask for your help. Not for me, but for someone else."

Whom do you speak on behalf of?

"Before I do so, I must ask for forgiveness" Michael pleaded. "I-I committed an act against the faith of my-"

I already know of your act. Michael, you have more duties than even you might believe. As a King, you are tasked with protecting the people you rule over. As a Pokemon Trainer, you are tasked with giving them the same love and care you would any other human. You also have the duties of a husband and a father. With the state of your kingdom in such jeopardy and the potential likelihood of your wife's departure, it is only natural for you to think of the future of your children and the realm. As a King, you will require a Queen. And in your actions, you have not done anything worthy of needing forgiveness. Now, who are you speaking for?

"I speak on behalf of Addison Tenton" Michael spoke softly.

"Deidre's daughter" Jane concluded.

Do you fear The White Mage will not be up to the challenge of combating Mewtwo?

Michael lowered his head. "I've failed her. Not just her. But all of Arcana. I couldn't protect Ryan or my Uncle Robert. And now, Addison has to go up against the most powerful being in the world besides yourself. All alone. With no one there to help her, or back her up? How is that fair? She's only a child."

You are proof in of itself that children are capable of a great deal of things. You accomplished a great deal when you were this child's age. Addison herself has done just as much, if not more. Why is it you fear for her?

"She isn't like me. She shouldn't have to carry the world's burdens on her shoulders."

"And you should?" Jane asked, her concern for him growing.

"I'm used to it" the King explained. "Carrying loads on my shoulders is what I've done for people all my life. Addison doesn't need those responsibilities."

And yet it is on her shoulders and you cannot take that from her. No matter how much you may want to.

"And if she fails, what happens then? What kind of world can I expect to leave for my children? One where they're either enslaved or destroyed by that monster? How can I be a father to those two and-"

"How can those children expect to grow well without a mother or father?" Jane asked him. "Sweetheart, the burdens of fighting shouldn't be on one's shoulders alone. You have been strong for so long, Michael. Let someone else carry the load for you. If you keep carrying it alone, you will crumble underneath it all." She turned her prodigal son's face and cupped his cheeks in her hands. "Please. I don't want to see you in anymore pain."

He took his aunt's hands off of his face and tried to give her a confidence instilling smile. "It's all I know how to do."

Very well. If that is the destiny with which you walk, Michael. I shall allow you to carry some of the burdens on your shoulder. The cloud-like form of Arceus stirred slightly, causing a thunderbolt to clap nearby. I intend on bestowing upon each of you who have served as Guardians a single gift. And given your request to be able to protect Deidre Tenton's daughter, I believe I have a gift to grant to you. But, be forewarned. It will not feel like a gift when you wield it. If anything, it will feel as if it is a curse upon you. Or, in some ways, as if an old and unwelcome friend is back in your life. Knowing this, will you still accept the gift?

Though Michael was unsure of what Arceus meant, the frightened look on his chosen mother's face was more than enough for him to realize this was going to be a great burden on his heart and his very being. But even with Jane Kingston's fears and Arceus's warning, the fears he had inside of him of a world the last two bastions of love and affection he had would suffer through was more than enough for him to know his sacrifice himself for them. Undaunted, Michael nodded. "If it's a burden, it's mine to bear."

A strange mist swirled around him from the ground all the way a few inches above his head. The mist changed colors constantly to emulate the colors of the entire prism. With another clap of thunder, the mist evaporated and Michael was left standing on his own once more. He eyed his Aunt Jane, who was close to weeping a few feet away. Even Arceus himself did not seem comfortable with what he had done. Nevertheless, Michael stood at attention, curious as to what the gift was. When nothing changed about him immediately, he eyed the creator curiously. "Did it work?"

As I told you, it will feel as if an old and unwelcome friend is back. Surely you can feel how...familiar this gift is?

Michael was about to insist he didn't, when he felt it. A very familiar feeling. A tingling. As if a bell were being rung inside of his heart. He instinctively reached for his left arm and closed his eyes in bitter memory of a war he'd just forced himself to resume.

This is not the same as the brand you were given by Cassius Sinclair and Elezar Aced all those years ago, Arceus informed him. Roll up your sleeve, please.

Michael did as he was told and rolled his shirt sleeve up. The Crimson Brand on his shoulder was indeed not the same as when Cassius had tormented him. It was as if emulating the emblem of the Kingston Family. An Arcanine letting out a tremendous roar to protect those in it's pack. His fingers touched the Arcanine forever engraved onto his arm, his index finger stroking the snout as if it were Mufasa.

The Fury is now yours, Michael. Yours to do with what you will. The Crimson Moon nor Mewtwo. will control you anymore. It is your struggle completely. Take from that what you will. You are no longer a slave to your emotions. But it comes at a great cost.

"How great?"

"Michael" Jane said sorrowfully, "your heart was already struggling to maintain the Fury when the Brands were removed. To fully place the burden on yourself is essentially giving yourself...an expiration date."

Michael remained calm. "I understand."

Your heart will eventually burst, Arceus cautioned. It is no longer a matter of if, but when. Relying too heavily on the Crimson Fury could cost you strength. It may even shorten your lifespan. There is no turning back from this path now, Michael. This battle, and it's aftermath, will destroy you.

"How long do I have?"

It depends on how you wield the Fury. You can last for a normal life, maybe less. Perhaps you'll live another thirty years, perhaps less than a year. Your heart is your guiding key in this matter. Though the look he received from Arceus was not any different from the other emotions he had shown, it was clear to Michael that he was saddened to have put this burden back on him. You've given up a long and healthy life to protect the people you love. I can truly say I have never seen someone with your resolve make such a bold choice.

Michael lowered his head. "My parents and I never had the easiest of relationships. The only two people I was proud to call my Mom and Dad did give their lives for others. How could I call them my role models if I weren't willing to do the same?"

"Michael..." Jane cried.

It is his choice to make. And he has made it.

Jane nervously approached Michael and embraced him. "My brave little trooper. I wish you didn't have to do this."

"Anything to keep them safe" Michael proclaimed. "If that means my life is shortened, so be it."

Then allow me to bestow upon you one final gift, Michael. Arceus stomped his hooves into the clouds, causing rifts of sunlight to spear through them and glow brightly on Michael's heart. Upon the last moment of your life, you shall be brought to this realm once more. To serve alongside myself, your chosen mother and all others who put the needs of others so greatly above their own. The clouds began to dissipate and Arceus change forms. We shall meet again, Michael. Now you may go.

Michael looked to Jane and did his best to instill some kind of joy in her. "I know you may not be proud of me for this, but-"

Jane shook her head. "Michael, I will always be proud of you." Her tears dissolved into the clouds around them. "I just wish you didn't have to be the one who shouldered all of this for people. You don't deserve this." She kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly. "Take care of yourself, Michael. And remember one thing. Though you may not be our true born, you will always be my son."

Michael reciprocated his aunt's embrace before letting go and stepping aside. As he approached the others, time seemed to resume once more. Matthew was the first to notice Michael's gift. "Wow, he gave you a tattoo?"

The others looked at his arm, though it seemed only Cameron understood what had transpired. The two locked eyes and Cameron turned away, though Michael could tell she was deeply saddened by it. As the others gathered around him, he rolled his sleeve back down and tried to play it off. "I'll explain what happened later. I think one of you is next to meet him." As his sleeve fell down his arm, he felt the same tingling feeling he had every day from the day he lost Icarus to the day he nearly lost everything else under Mewtwo's control. But now, he would no longer have to fear losing others because of his shortcomings. They would be safe, even if it killed him.

Would the Guardian of Manaphy please step forward?

Piper looked from the rest of the group and then to Jane Kingston. She took a deep breath and followed Jane a few paces forward. As it had been with Michael, she felt a strange gust through the air and noticed that time for the others ceased. But rather than be surprised, the fair Contest Queen remained bound and determined to speak her mind in front of Arceus. The clouds once more took shape in the form of the Equine God of Creation, though this time the wheel around the center of his body bore the same color as the seas: a regal blue.

Piper bowed before Arceus. "I am honored to be here before you, Great Arceus."

I have watched over you your entire life, Miss Pines.

"You have?"

"Arceus never abandons any of his followers" Jane explained. "But he especially holds a soft spot for orphans."

Before I place judgment upon thee, I would like you to know one thing, Piper. Though you never met them, you must know that there were not two people who loved you more than your mother and father. It was not by actions within their power that they were taken from you. Nor was it in my power to save them from that fate. But their last thoughts were of you and your well being. It would seem that your Grandmother achieved the tasks of being a guardian and parent quite well for you as well as Julia. I never abandon my followers and I have never abandoned you.

Piper felt herself already becoming emotional. "I-I don't know what to say."

You needn't say more. As I have observed you, I know that many have had a great impact on you. None more so than Maria Pines and Michael Kingston. The two have helped mold you into the maiden I see before me, in more ways than one. And yet, in your heart, it is not those two that you pine for the most. Instead, it would be another to whom your heart has been given. The son of Jane Kingston.

Jane smiled brightly. "Christopher."

"I-I-I love him" Piper replied. "He means everything to me. And I would give anything to see him again. Or just to know that he's okay."

"He knows how much you long for him" Jane answered. "His every thought and dream is to get back to you and the others, Piper."

As one of my most faithful followers, Piper, I wish to bestow upon you a gift. What is your heart's deepest desire?

Piper thought for a moment. Would it be wrong of her to ask for something she wants when others need it more? Michael's relationship with Julia was on the brink. Addison was set to go up against the most powerful being in the universe apart from Arceus. The people of Arcana were living in fear of the end times. But her heart continued to call for the same thing Arceus said it did. She wanted Chris. She wanted him so badly.

"I do not know what fate currently holds him" Piper spoke softly. "But Christopher truly is someone I can safely call my soulmate. If he's dreaming under Darkrai's influence, I just want him to have a good dream. And if he's awake, I would like you to give him his heart's desire, if you can. No matter what it is. I just want him to be happy, wherever he is."

Arceus bowed his head. Tis a noble request. And one truly from your heart. I shall grant this to you. Christopher Kingston's deepest and most trusted desires shall be his.

Piper rose and bowed once more. "Thank you, Your Excellency."

I should be the one thanking you, Miss Pines. For continuing to believe in me, despite all you've endured. For all your feelings towards Jane's trueborn son, I see much of her chosen son within you. Do not lose sight of that compassion, Piper. And do not lose your hope. It is your greatest asset. Farewell, my child. Please send forth the next of the Guardians upon your return.

Piper eyed Jane for a moment and the two shared a tender smile, before Piper returned to the others. Matthew was the first to approach her, but seemed crestfallen when she did not show any 'tattoos' on her arm. "Oh come on. I thought that would be the cool gift we'd be getting."

"No" Piper laughed. "We're all getting our own gift. But I'm holding onto mine as long as I can." She made eye contact with both Michael and Cameron, who nodded approvingly at her, almost understanding what she had chosen to ask for.

Mark was the first to make eye contact with the form of Arceus in the clouds. Jane Kingston's call to him was what signified for him that it would be his turn to see the almighty deity next. He collected himself and walked over to the side of Christopher and Cameron's mother and knelt before the cloud forms as they took shape into Arceus once more. The Wheel on his back now shined with a mystical magenta-colored glow, likely because of Mark's connection to the Psychic Pokemon Mew. Though he would have to wait to learn more if he could as Arceus stepped forward to properly address him.

No one here has more reason to be proud of their accomplishments in life than you, Mr. Lionel.

"Me, Your Excellency? But I haven't done much with it."

Jane shook her head. "Nonsense. None of this would be happening if it weren't for you. Your determination to befriend and help Michael overcome the Crimson Fury saved him and helped chart the course that led you all to this day. If you hadn't stuck by Michael as long as you have, I suspect that the world would be a much sadder and darker place than it is now."

"I was just doing good by a friend" Mark humbly insisted. "I'd do it again if I needed to."

So you would. And I would believe it to be true. You have a devotion to friends and loved ones that is quite admirable. But your greatest passion is with those who were always by your side. Your Pokemon. Whenever a new human takes up the mantle of being a trainer, I always wonder if this human will treat their Pokemon with respect and honor. You have always treated your Pokemon well. Not only to help them battle well, but to see that you value them as much as you do yourself. There are not many like you in this world, Mark. Fortunately, though, your influence on others will help this problem change in the future.

"Great Arceus" Mark asked nervously, "is there anyway for me to know if those Pokemon that Mewtwo forcibly separated from us are okay?"

You wish to know about how your Pokemon are being treated without you caring for them?

"I just...all I've ever wanted was for all Pokemon to be happy and content. To let these Pokemon understand that what Mewtwo said to them is just not true. That the only people who would harm them intentionally are those who would align themselves with Mewtwo and not us who want Pokemon to be happy and free. I just want them to be able to be their best selves. Is that something you could do?"

A very simple task, Mr. Lionel. The Pokemon of the world shall know that what Mewtwo told them is untrue. But I cannot force them to change their lifestyles. If they choose to return to you and the others, it's entirely of their own volition.

"I understand" Mark answered proudly. "Thank you, Arceus."

I thank you, Mark. Your service has been greatly appreciated and shall be rewarded in due course. Simply continue to be yourself and you shall be fine. You are dismissed.

Mark, bearing a hopeful look on his face, bowed graciously to Jane and the supreme being before returning to his friends. With one move, he hoped that he would give their side a bit more of a fighting chance than they had previously. If Addison needed their help, they would be there to back her up with anyone willing to fight on their side. He stood beside his old friends in Michael and Lizzie, his arms folded and contemplating what the future held in store next.

{}

"Great Guardian of Jirachi" Jane called forth to Lizzie. "His Excellency will see you, next."

Lizzie took a deep breath and made to step forward, pausing out of fear and doubt. It took reassuring pats from Michael and Mark to compel her to keep going. She collected herself and walked beside Jane. As time ceased all around her, Arceus's wheel once more shifted colors, taking on a silvery-color reminiscent of Steel. Noticing this as the fourth color change so far, she knew she needed an answer.

"May I ask something, Arceus? Why does that wheel on your body change colors?"

I take on the form to best represent the Pokemon with which you have been assigned to protect. I took on the Meadow Forme on behalf of Celebi, an Ocean Forme to represent Manaphy and a Psychic Forme for Mew. As you are the caretaker of Jirachi, Miss West, I am obliged to stand before you in my Metal Form. Arceus let out a soft roar as the light of the sun pierced through the clouds all around them. Miss West. Your Family have been the caretakers of Jirachi for generations. Safeguarding the secrets of Jirachi's Shrine, as well as those of the wish granting powers of Jirachi himself has been a task only appointed to the boldest and strongest members of your family.

Lizzie's mood dampened at this. "And I failed. I wasn't able to protect the Shrine or Jirachi from Hunter."

Hunter believed that Pokemon were meant to exist solely for power. That if you possessed strong Pokemon, it would somehow make you strong. He was quite wrong about that. It is why he no doubt failed in his endeavors to become invincible. He did not respect Pokemon and they in turn did not respect him. In the end, all he met was the abyss. You, meanwhile, are still here. As is Jirachi.

"Jirachi still has one last wish to grant before he will disappear, correct?" Jane asked.

Lizzie nodded. "I don't know what to wish for, to be honest. I'm...I'm going to be a little sad when he leaves. Him and I have been through so much together."

No disrespect intended, my child. But the wish is not necessarily meant for you. Jirachi can only grant wishes of those pure of heart and pure of intent. Even someone naturally good may be tempted to wish for something selfish and not for the betterment of the world as a whole. You used a wish to save your friends from Hunter near Mt. Heatmor. Miss Pines used the second wish, albeit unintentionally, to make it to The Celestial Plains. The third may go to anyone, but it will be Jirachi's choice as to whom will be the one worthy of it.

"Then I have no say as to when Jirachi leaves?" she inquired.

Jirachi and the other Mythical Pokemon shall remain by your side until the battle has reached it's conclusion. If you all have triumphed over Mewtwo and his forces, they shall return to the Celestial Plains here until their power is needed again. If you have all fallen, they will return here so that I may purge the world and begin anew, without Mewtwo to haunt or terrorize people or Pokemon. But they will not fall prey to someone like Hunter ever again. You have my word.

"Thank you, Your Excellency."

Now, what is it you would ask for? Shall I restore the Shrine of Jirachi to what it was before Hunter destroyed it? What is your heart's deepest and most personal desire?

"All my life" Lizzie recalled, "I've always felt like a bit of a loner. I think a lot of it stems from how hard I find it to communicate with people because of my condition. Michael and Mark try to do so much for me, but even they understand things about the world that I find so strange and unfamiliar. I don't even think I have a firm grasp on what love is and if someone like me can achieve it." She cracked a smile, recalling the only beings she felt understood who she was. "The only things in the world that understand me, I feel are my Pokemon. They comfort me in times of sorrow and regret. I can't tell you how many times Jazz has been there to keep me in good spirits. Or Jirachi for that matter. But even that is fleeting, chiefly because I can't truly understand them. That could be a reason why all of the Pokemon left us. We don't communicate well with them. If that were to change, I think the world would be a much better place."

Do you wish for a similar gift to what Michael and Miss Tenton possess? A mental connection to a Pokemon of your choosing?

"Actually, I'd like to be able to understand all Pokemon. How they feel, how they act, what they want. If I can't understand people as much as I'd like, understanding my Pokemon would be a great alternative."

Jane nodded approvingly. "A very unique request. Miss West. But not one we wouldn't expect from you."

Arceus followed suit. Indeed. You understand what I am saying in a similar vein to how Mewtwo does. His mind, as well as mine, enters yours and changes into a more serviceable and understandable language. As a reward for your faith in your friends and your Pokemon, as well as your service to my decrees, you shall possess a relationship like this to all of your Pokemon. This, in turn, may provide you with a second gift, somewhere along the line. Use it well, Miss West.

As Arceus's cloud form began to shift once more, Lizzie bowed graciously and stepped away. Time resumed it's natural course and left Lizzie to wonder if this had indeed been what she wanted with all her heart. But when she realized this could help her cope with not understanding other people well enough, being with her Pokemon like this would be something she could not and would not shirk at.

Matthew watched as those who had already met with Arceus fall back, leaving himself and Cameron at the forefront of the group that traversed to the Celestial Realm to ask for his counsel. As he wondered which of he or his elder cousin would be called forth next, the answer to his question would come sooner than he expected when a voice that rumbled like thunder called for him.

Guardian of Shaymin. Step forward.

Matthew walked in front of the others and dropped to a knee, unaware that time had halted for the others or that Arceus was taking on a different appearance, as the wheel changed to a Sky Forme to emulate Shaymin's own form. Jane, sensing his nervousness, walked over to him and placed a calming hand on his shoulder.

"You don't need to be afraid, Matthew" she urged him. "You're not here to be punished."

"I deserve to be" he answered glumly. "After what I've done-"

I have heard a great deal about you, Matthew Kingston. And seen for myself, what you have done. You foolishly believed that accruing power was the same as being strong. In your pursuit of this strength, you blackened your heart and became the very thing the man you adored fought so hard to destroy in himself. Your actions caused untold misery on many in Arcana, especially those you were once close to. You oversaw terrible and evil deeds being done to friends, family, even your own father and brother. You allowed yourself to be manipulated by the very fiends you now try so hard to fight against and aided in their plans. If mercy and redemption were not a part of your path, you would have been left to die in the pit your brother's Sandslash trapped you in.

Matthew lowered his head, doing his best to fight off the glum and dark feelings that continued to haunt him.

I chose to save you. I sent Jocelyn Aced to steer her father down the proper path, but I found that you yourself were in much more urgent need and thus had her find you instead. In the two years of your exile, you began to understand yourself a bit more, but you held onto the last vestiges of your pride far longer than one in your place was supposed to. It was a hurdle you needed to overcome if you were to return home. Despite all the temptation and darkness that surrounded you, you chose the proper path. Even if it costs you everything in the end, you understand the error of your ways, correct?

His head shot up and he eyed Arceus for the first time. "Ye-Yes. I do."

You have come to understand what true strength is. You have also learned to let go of what you once had. And in doing so, you have returned to the path of your forefathers. Much of your return has to be attributed to Miss Aced, correct?

Matthew nodded. "Jocelyn took me in, when she had no reason to. I-I took her for granted. I wish I had her here, now."

So long as you follow her teachings and her words, she shall always be with you.

"I hope you're right" Matthew admitted. "I miss her. I miss her so much."

The love you have for Miss Aced is certainly comparable to the love you share with your sister and mother. Which, in turn, is the same that radiates within you for The White Mage.

Matthew's frown deepened. "I still love her. After all I've done to her and all we've done, I can't stop thinking about her or how much I want her to forgive me."

"Her forgiveness is unfortunately something we cannot compel her to give" Jane responded. "It must be of her own accord that a friendship, or whatever comes, is approached between you."

Since this is the case, Matthew, what else would you ask of me?

"I know I can't convince her to forgive me, or to love me" he conceded. "None of that matters anymore. All I want is for her to have everything she could ever need to achieve her destiny. Give her the means to reach those levels she may be scared to reach." He squeezed his eyes shut as his secret fears rushed through him. "I've already lost Ryan. I don't think my heart can take losing her as well. I'd rather die for her than to see her fall in front of me."

Arceus looked at Jane and then back at Matthew. So your wish is to give Miss Tenton what she needs to overcome Mewtwo?

Matthew held his hand close to his heart. "I think that's what my heart wants. I know it is."

"I am certain Addison will know this gift comes from you" Jane answered kindly.

I can give Miss Tenton the means with which to confront Mewtwo, but I must tell you Matthew. She must be the one to accept and wield this gift. If she refuses, it's entirely her choice and you cannot force her to accept it.

Matthew smiled sadly. "I know. I tried to force Addison to bend to my will once. And I swore to myself that I would never do that to her again."

It is good that you have chosen a more noble path than the one you once walked. And for that, I shall grant you your wish. Do not stray from the path of nobility and honor, Matthew. If not for my sake or your own, do it for those who never lost faith in you. For Jocelyn. For your mother. And for your father.

Matthew froze at the mentioning of his father, but took in a deep breath and rose to his feet. "I will. For them."

With all five having gone before her, Cameron began to prepare herself for her meeting with Arceus and her mother. But no matter how she chose to try and psych herself up for this once in a lifetime opportunity, she could not get the image of Michael's new brand out of her head. Seeing that return to him made her realize that, despite a need for something to go right in his life for once, he again chose to do something to protect people beyond himself. He was willing to let himself die if it meant that the others could go on. If they were in a secure and less open environment, she would have tore her prodigal brother a new one for his decision. How could he choose to surrender his life for others again? Hadn't they all been through enough?

"Cameron" her mother called to her. "It's time, sweetheart."

Though the others seemed eager to wish her luck, Cameron strode off on her own and stood at attention. Unlike the others, she chose not to kneel as Arceus came into form among the clouds, his wheel shining with the blazing power of fire. The emerald and ruby eyes of the almighty Arceus finally fell upon her.

Ah yes. The most skeptical of the Guardians.

"Can you blame me?" Cameron grumbled. "For all the suffering people I know have endured, how so many can still have such blind faith is obnoxious."

"Cameron" her mother gently scolded. "I understand you're upset-"

"Upset doesn't even begin to describe how I feel" Cameron fumed, before turning her attention directly to Arceus. "I lost my mother and someone I thought to be a brother at a young age. That same brother was branded and treated like a monster because of some twisted little science experiment. I lost another brother who thought it was his obligation to clean up my mess on Mirage Island. Michael is on the verge of losing his wife and already blames himself for Ryan's death. How can you sit there and expect me to have any faith in you, when so many suffer under your watchful eye?!"

Arceus was silent for a moment, as if reflecting upon her words. The flaming wheel in his midsection continued to spin, but he remained still beyond that. There is no way I can explain what has happened in your life to you without you picking apart such an argument. I'm afraid I cannot justify what has happened to you without saying that the will of man can sometimes supersede that of my own will. A price to pay for granting mankind their own free will.

Cameron tried in earnest to calm herself, but did not make eye contact with him. Instead, she just lowered her head and listened to what he had to say.

My inaction has not been due to lack of empathy, Miss Kingston. On the contrary, it is because I wish for you all to live your lives without such strong interference. But I can tell from the look in your eyes that the pain you feel is quite genuine. Not just for what your own actions have wrought or mine. Say what you will of yourself, but the one thing you cannot hide or pretend to discredit is how strong the bond is between you and your brothers. You miss Christopher dearly and the pain you feel for Michael is certainly strong. Their suffering has all been with purpose. Not to cause harm, but instead to help them become stronger.

"I have a hard time believing that" she admitted.

Do you believe your brother Christopher should have simply allowed Michael's suffering at Courtney's hands to pass? Or should Michael become a tyrant and focused entirely on his own desires and goals? The struggles one goes through in life helps mold them into the most well-rounded being they could possibly be. Your brothers understand this, which is why they both were and are willing to sacrifice themselves for others so that they do not have to deal with the pains they have.

"You could have changed all of these bad things and stopped them from happening!"

Do you truly believe they would be the men you know now if they had not suffered?

She shrunk at this question and just kept her head down.

"All of us understand that the meaning of life is to give and protect one another" her mother urged. "It may not be ideal for us in the world we live in to think this way, but it's the only way Pokemon and humans can evolve and move on from dark times such as these." She stepped in front of her daughter. "Cameron, not a day goes by where I don't think of what kind of life you two might have had if we all simply left Arcana after Michael was exiled. Maybe we all would have survived and found Michael. Maybe not. But I do not regret for a single second that I lost my life protecting you and your brother."

"But what about me?" Cameron cried. "Where were you when I needed you? Or when any of us did? Didn't you think what would happen if-"

Did you not think of how your brother would react if you had indeed disappeared on Mirage Island instead of him? Or did you forget that memory, as it reminded you of how Courtney tricked you?

"That was different" she insisted.

If a person's duty is to others, why then would they choose a selfish path? The five who proceeded you have all asked me for selfless gifts. Not because they believed that was what I wanted of them, but because they knew others could benefit from this wish besides themselves. And all know the costs of their wishes. You yourself know very well what will unfold for Michael if he needs to use the gift I gave to him, as you spent a decade trying to keep him from succumbing to it as his right hand.

"He really wished for the Fury?" Cameron whispered, shuddering at the idea of it.

"Because he knows, whether we agree with him or not, that protecting those weaker than him is what he was always born to do" Jane answered. "Chris follows a similar path. If you truly understood both of them, you'd know why they do the things they do."

It does not mean that good cannot happen to them. It just means that their own desires are put aside until such a time when those they care for are safe and sound. Which is why Michael returned to Arcana to assume his duties after Lady Bonnie died. And also why your brother chose to sacrifice himself in the attempt to free Michael from Courtney's clutches.

Cameron became contemplative. Was she being selfish in thinking they should be thinking of themselves for once? Or was she still thinking too linearly? There had to be some kind of angle she was missing from Michael's decision. Why would he choose to give himself the same thing he spent a decade trying to cure himself from? Why would he give up on potentially sixty or seventy more years of life to fight in another war? Could it be...Julia?

"What if I wish for them, then?"

"Honey?" Jane inquired.

You wish to make one on behalf of your brothers?

Cameron nodded. "I do."

What would you ask of me?

"I almost lost Michael once before, when he and Julia broke up before the Syndicate revealed themselves. Now, with him so willing to throw his life away to protect us again, I feel like I'm going to lose him, this time forever." She held her hand close to her heart. "I may not always agree with her and I'll always be a bit miffed with her for how she's treated him, but he needs Julia. All of Arcana needs Julia, but Michael especially." Her eyes rose to meet those of the deity. "I ask for you to restore Julia's memories. So that she doesn't leave him."

Jane sighed. "Honey, it's not that simple."

"What do you mean? Can't Arceus do that?"

I am capable of restoring the memories clouded from her by Courtney, but it will be up to Julia if she chooses to accept these memories. If she chooses not to, no one can keep her from following where her heart guides her.

"Why wouldn't she accept them?" Cameron asked.

To have a large portion of her memory cut out, only for it to be forced back in, could perhaps cause her to doubt her own memory.

"Then you don't know Julia" she boasted. "She will choose to stay. I know she will."

If that is your wish, Miss Kingston, so be it.

Cameron finally bowed respectfully to Arceus. "Thank you."

Do not thank me yet, Cameron. There is still a great deal that needs to be determined in the war to come. But so long as you hold true to who you are, you no longer have to pretend to not have faith. Before Cameron could respond, Arceus faded into the clouds, with a few claps of thunder erasing the equine form from existence. As Arceus vanished from view, it left Cameron and her mother alone.

Realizing how much her words had shaken her mother, she sheepishly turned to face her mother. "I'm sorry, Mom."

Jane sighed. "I'm sorry, Cameron. I'm sorry you've had to go through so much without me being there. But I am not sorry that I died when I did. Because they would have went after you if I didn't. Your brother as well." She stood in front of her daughter. "I want you to promise me something, Cameron. That whenever you feel doubtful of yourself or what you believe in, just remember that we will always be there for you. Me, your father, Chris, Michael...hehehe...even Cynthia."

Cameron, for the first time in her life, did not blush when someone brought up Cynthia in front of her. "I won't, Mom. Not now, not ever. I will never take any of you for granted."

Jane kissed her daughter on her cheek and took her in for one more embrace. "Oh, my sweet little girl. Keep making me proud, Cameron. I'll be watching." Cameron and her mother came apart, with the two grasping hands for a moment before finally separating with Cameron coming down to stand by the others.

"You okay, Cam?" Piper asked.

Cameron nodded. "I'll be okay. I hope we all will be okay soon."

The Mythical Pokemon once more formed a ring around the group, the celestial veil gathering energy around them. Though she had been doubtful before, Cameron was the first into the circle this time, taking a hand from Michael and Matthew both. When the ring was formed, a flash of light struck where they landed and soon, they were off and back to Arcana.
