"Villains?!" cried my classmates. "No way! What villains would be dumb enough to sneak into a school for heroes?"

"Sensei," cried Yaoyorozu, "Aren't there intruder sensors?"

"

"Of course we have some set up," said 13, "but…"

"Is this the only campus they've infiltrated, or are they attacking all the others too?" said Todoroki. "At any rate, if the sensors aren't responding, that just means they must have one amongst their number who has a quirk that can do that. An isolated space away from the school building, at a time when there's a class scheduled…it may seem out of the question but they must have some solid objective. This isn't an ambush without some carefully planned scheme behind it.

"#13," said Mr. Aizawa, "Do the evacuation procedure and try calling the school. These villains know how to get around the sensors. There's a chance there's an electrowave type who'll try interfering. Kaminari, you too. Try contacting UA with your quirk."

"Sensei!" cried Midoriya, "Are you gonna fight them alone? Even if you surprise all of their quirks, there's so many of them. The battle style of Eraserhead is to capture villains after erasing their quirks. Meaning, the main battle starts now!"

Mr. Aizawa turned back to him, his goggles now on. "A hero always has more than one trick up their sleeves. 13, I'm counting on you." With that, he kept down the dias and went straight to the villains. Within seconds, he'd taken out at least five.

Meanwhile, 13 was evacuating our class, as we followed them to the front door. Just as we were headed to evacuate though…the black mist guy sprung up in front of us, like a barrier to the doorway.

"I'm afraid I can't allow that," he hissed in a deep, dark, scary voice. "Greetings. We are the League of Villains. I apologize for the presumption, but we took it upon ourselves to enter UA, this school of heroes, in order to engage with All Might, the symbol of peace. We were hoping to get the opportunity to extinguish him, you see. Wasn't All Might meant to be in attendance right now? Has something been altered? Well, setting that aside, this is my role," he said, and suddenly the black mist was moving, surrounding us all.

Kirishima and Bakugou went flying straight at the mist guy to punch him. They actually landed a hit on him, too.

"Bet you didn't think we'd be able to do you in before you go the chance!" said Kirishima.

"That was close," murmured the mist guy. "To be expected, to you may be mere students, you are also the hero world's golden eggs."

"It's no use, just run!" shouted 13. "Run, you two!"

The mist surrounded us again, and the voice echoed, "You will be scattered and tortured to death."

Instinctively, I grabbed the two classmates closest to me, Uraraka and Sato, and ran. We were cleared of the mist, but as I looked back, the mist cleared away, and our classmates were gone. All who remained besides us were 13 sensei, Mezo Shoji the duplicate arms boy, Hanta Sero (a boy with tape), and Mina Ashido, the girl with horns and acid powers.

I stood between Uraraka and the mist man, the last barrier protecting her from danger.

"Is everybody still here? Can you confirm?" I asked Shoji as we all stood up to take our bearings. He extended out his duplicate arms to sense around us.

"We're scattered and in disarray, but we're all still within the limits of the USJ," he told me. My chest unclenched with relief.

"He has the ability to warp people anywhere and he can become intangible too!" diagnosed Sero. "Talk about hard to handle!"

"Class president," 13 said. I snapped to attention. "I entrust this to you! Please, run as fast as you can back to school and relay the following. Somehow, the alarms never triggered, and our phones have lost reception. Our alarms operate by infrared rays. In spite of Aiza-Eraserhead canceling quirks down below, their continued deactivation is still likey the work of someone with an interfering quirk who wasted no time in hiding themselves. So in order to smoke that person out, you must bolt and inform the school of our situation."

Leave everyone and run?!

"But it would be a disgrace to the class if their president were to aband-" I began.

"They said go, emergency exit!" said Sato. "You can alert the outside of what's going on. Theres gotta be a reason they made sure to cause their trouble here, and that means they won't chase after you if you make it out."

"Use those legs of yours and kick free of the black mist!" added Sero.

"Use your quirk to save others," said 13.

"It's just like back in the cafeteria," came Uraraka's gentle, encouraging voice from behind me. "Besides, we can support you as backup like nobody's business, promise! You're our best hope, class Rep!"

She was so positive, I started feeling a little more hopeful myself.

"I may not be able to stop him," conceded the black mist guy, "But still, I am surprised you are foolish enough to strategize in front of your enemy."

"Isn't it obvious? We let you hear us because it's not a problem if you know," said 13, opening a finger gun to activate Black Hole.

The mist villain, however, did not seem perturbed.

"Number 13. As expected of a hero whose efforts are in mere disaster relief," boomed out the voice of the mist guy, as Sensei started shaking and struggling.

"Sensei!" screamed Ashido.

"Your battle experience is far lower than normal heroes'," said the Mist Villain. "You've turned yourself into dust with your own power."

The mist villain had opened a portal behind 13, to use black hole to suck sensei's body backwards through the portal instead.

"Iida, they told you to run!" called Sato.

"Dammit," I cried, cursing myself for my own hesitation and inaction. I turned and charged as fast as I could go to the door. But the mist guy didn't seem to be taking that lying down. "Oh, scattered children, if you called the teachers to your aid, I fear that would cause a spot of concern for us." The mist swirled in front of the door, blocking my path. But then - Shoji jumped in the way, grabbing the mist villain and holding him back. "Quickly!"

I moved - faster, faster - and still not fast enough.

"How rude of you," came the villain's voice; the mist was enveloping me again. "I won't let you get out!"

From behind me, Ashido's voice called "Uraraka, what are you doing!?"

"Don't get cocky, four-eyes," the mist man's voice surrounded me, the mist was upon me -

And then without warning, the mist was pulling back.

"I dunno why it's there, but if he's got it on, then wouldn't that mean he's got a real body in there somewhere?"

It was Uraraka's voice. I turned and saw that she had seized the villain's body with her bare hands and was floating him upwards and out of the way.

"Iida, Run!" she called, as Sero grabbed the mist villain with his tape and echoed her with "Go!"

At last I was at the doors, forcing them open, and out of the environs of the USJ.

Run. Keep going. Find the teachers, bring them back, bring your classmates the help they need - gotta keep going, don't stop, don't look back -

"YOUNG IIDA!" it was All Might himself, looking startled and holding a rather unusual pose, as though I had surprised him.

"Sensei!" I gasped out in relief. I'd been so afraid…"There are villains! At the USJ, they snuck in using a villain with a portal quirk, they got into the campus and they're attacking my classmates and Sensei, 13 and Aizawa, they're in trouble, I'm going to get the principal and the rest of the teachers now so -"

"Young Iida!" He interrupted me, and even in my panic, I noticed that he had stopped smiling. "Go for the others. And do not fear. It will all be all right now…because I will be there."

And he moved, almost teleported, towards the open door of the USJ.

As I continued onward, though the panic had not completely left me, and though I still wished to move - those words, which the public knew in another form so well, had left me reassured.

The other teachers were gathered in the teacher's office behind the principal's homeroom.

"Principal! Sensei's!" I cried, throwing the door open to get in as quickly as possible. "There are villains in the USJ!"

The Principal hopped down from his chair. "Villains?"

"Yes! All Might went to take care of them, but - "

"Let us go, now!" said the Principal. They rose as one and moved - as I ran, running towards the USJ and trying not to fall apart for fear.

After what to me seemed like an eternity - but in all probability was only a few minutes - we were within the doors.

"Sorry, students. We're rather late…"

"Iida!" cried Uraraka, half in tears as I stood looking over USJ.

"I came back with all the people I could scrape together," said the Principal, from the shoulder of the tall and burly Pro Hero Teacher of Class 1-B.

Seeing my classmates' fearful faces, I knew they needed reassurance. The same kind of reassurance that All Might and given me. So I called back to them,

"Class 1-A President Tenya Iida, reporting for duty!"

The villains' ringleader had been able to escape with the mist villain, but the rest of the thugs were apprehended. Most of my classmates were uninjured, but Midoriya had once again broken his limbs in an attempt to protect others, and All Might had apparently been injured in the fight; both were resting in the hospital.

"16, 17, 18…not counting the kid with the broken legs, everyone's pretty much unharmed," said the lead officer in the aftermath.

Everyone was talking nervously about whatever had happened to them.

"For the time being," said the Officer, "You all need to head back to the classroom. We can't just go straight into police questioning, naturally…"

"Hey, sir," said Asui, "How is Mr. Aizawa?"

We all turned to listen.

"His arms are riddled with commented fractures and he's suffering from facial fractures. Thankfully, out of sheer luck, he didn't receive any brain damage. It's just…well, the bones around his eye sockets, his orbital floor, have bene crushed. There's a chance it might adversely affect his eyesight. Or so I've been told."

Asui looked real worried at that.

"What about 13?" asked Ashido.

"I fear their upper arms have sustained serious lacerations. That being said, their vitals appear to be stable. The same goes for All Might…he's not in critical condition either. He's being brought to the infirmary to be given adequate treatment by recovery girl."

"And Deku?" asked Uraraka.

"How's Midoriya?" I added.

"Midoriya- oh, he seems he's fit for the infirmary too. I have business to attend to there as well."

The Police Officer turned to his second in command. "Sansa, you see to the rest!"

The Principal said "We have to focus on fortifying our security across the board."

Our class was returned to the safety of homeroom, talking and chatting together. Uraraka and I waited for Midoriya to get out of the hospital, and the three of us walked to the bus stop together, talking over the events of the day.
