Willa, Wyatt, and Wynter were waiting silently in the back of the Z-Patrol van as they drove along. They had continued to fight until Wynter's necklace made her start coughing again and gave them all a reminder to save their strength.

All Willa could think about was how she had failed, going in wolf strong wasn't the best idea, but it was down to the wire, for all she knew the Moonstone was already destroyed for good by now. She shouldn't have abandoned their new friends, maybe if Addison or Zed had explained, the humans and zombies would have listened. But what if didn't bring home the prey, or a Moonstone, they just wasted moonlight.

Willa sighed, and tried to catch her breath, the effects of the silver gas seemed to be wearing off at least, she experimentally strained against her handcuffs, but they felt solid as iron. If these things could hold a rogue zombie, then in her current state she didn't stand a chance, at least not without wolfing out and being stunned by the Z-Patrol officers sitting in the van with them, stone-faced but watching their every move.

They finally arrived, the doors were opened, and the wolves were let out, one by one, with two officers on each side, just in case they tried anything, and Willa would have, but she doubted she could escape while handcuffed still, and she couldn't tell how Wyatt and Wynter felt.

They entered the doors, and all three wolves shivered slightly at the intense chill, and the horrid smell of antiseptic, Willa knew she wouldn't find anything natural here, they were about to be led down one hallway, before another officer told their escorts to stop.

He was talking on a cellphone. "Yes Chief, we have them right here. Are you sure? Wouldn't it be safer to take them to Containment rooms? OK then, whatever you say Chief."

He put away his phone, "Chief Wells says to take them to the conference room, and he said to tell you three, Zed, Addison, and all your friends are coming to explain what's going on, so if you agree to not hurt anyone, we can take those cuffs off. Do we have a deal?"

"Yes," Willa said, Wyatt and Wynter nodding along in unison. "I promise we won't hurt you."

"OK then, I'm Gus." The officer introduced himself, still sounding a bit nervous around them. He took the key out of his pocket and unlocked all their cuffs.

Willa shook out her wrists to get the blood flowing again as Gus led them in a different direction down the hall. He opened a large wooden door and gestured inside.

Willa, Wyatt, and Wynter walked in and took the seats nearest to the door along the long wooden table that filled most of the room.

"Can I get you anything?" Gus asked.

"Some water would be nice." Wynter asked, her voice scratchy.

"OK, I'll be right back." Gus left the room, Willa waited to hear the click of lock, but there wasn't one. Maybe they do trust us now. But Willa was still on edge, this is exactly what she feared, what they all feared, being brought to Zombie Containment.

"Are you guys ok?" Willa asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." Wyatt nodded.

"I am too, mostly, it's my moonstone." Wynter said, still rubbing her sore throat.

"Not that that stupid silver stuff was any fun." Wyatt rolled his eyes.

"What do we do now Willa?" Wynter asked.

"Right now, we wait. Hopefully Zed and Addison and Eliza have stopped the demolition after we failed."

"She said her dad is the Chief of the Z-Patrol right? That must be who Gus was talking to." Wyatt tried to look on the positive.

"And he's also probably the jerk that turned their poison on us. He may be Addison's father but I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him." Will growled.

"Willa, I know you're mad, but think about this, we're in trouble, in Zombie Containment, we don't have a choice but to play nice. I think we should come clean about everything. If we want to save the Moonstone we'll have to explain everything, or even just to get out of here." Wyatt pleaded.

"We can tell them about the Moonstone, fine, but we don't tell them anything about the pack. Understood?"

"Understood." Wynter and Wyatt both nodded.

Gus came back in with a pitcher of water and some glasses, and all three drank several glasses full to get rid of the burning lodged in their throats. Willa remembered one time when they were little and Wyatt had dared her to eat a poison ivy leaf, her mouth and throat felt the same burning itchiness, but she could feel the water and her wolf healing abilities already starting to wash the pain away.

Gus left the room again after he brought the water, but Willa listened as he left and she was certain they had two people standing guard outside, so while they maybe don't hate them or have them locked up in a cell, they were still in Containment.

Finally, about five minutes later, Addison burst in through the doorway followed quickly by Zed and the rest of their friends, even Bucky came to Willa's surprise.

"OMZ! Are you guys OK?" Addison asked.

"We're fine, for now," Willa forced a smile to her face, "but we need to talk."

"I know, so guys, this is my dad, Dale, he's Chief of the Z-Patrol, and Dad, this is Willa, Wynter, and Wyatt, yes they are werewolves, and I know it seems like they attacked for no reason, but we can explain everything."

"Eliza," Wyatt asked, "is the powerplant still standing?"

"Yes, we have a day at least, we still have time, not really thanks to you, as much as I appreciate you going in claws first, I told you that would be a bad idea Fido." Eliza scolded him, but she too look relieved.

"OK. How about we just get down to business?" Dale asked as he sat down at the head of the table. "Why did you attack the powerplant?"

Everyone else took seats around the table, Addison sitting between Zed and her dad, across from the wolves, Bonzo, Bree, and Bucky sat down on Zed's other side, while Eliza sat down beside Wyatt.

Willa started to explain their search for the Moonstone and the new evidence they had discovered from the Buchanans' journal and how they discovered the Moonstone's location minutes before it would have been destroyed.

"I apologize for attacking you, but we had to stop you from destroying the powerplant and the Moonstone, because it would have destroyed our entire family."

"Alright then, I'm sorry for using the silver gas on you, when Addison told me you were werewolves, I looked through our own records and they said that silver was your weakness, and we even had the gas in the storage, I have no clue how long it's been there, but I jumped to conclusions, and wanted to be prepared in case you were dangerous. I apologize for that. I promise you, we won't demolish the powerplant until we can find your Moonstone, and I'll talk about it with Missy, but when your pack feels better, maybe we can start to repair relations between Seabrook and the werewolves."

"I would appreciate that too, Mr. Wells, All of these guys have been showing us how great Seabrook is the last few weeks, I know lots of other wolves will want to come to see everything you have to offer too."

"Again, I'm sorry I brought you here, and in turn made the rest of you come here, I know this isn't anyone's favorite place to be, so I'll ask again if you need any rides home."

"We don't need rides, but do you mind if we stay in Zombietown tonight?" Willa asked.

"What for?"

"So we can start searching once it's safe for us to do so. We still want to find the Moonstone as soon as possible."

"I'm not sure, most of the power has already been cut off by now so there aren't any lights or anything around the powerplant."

"That won't be a problem for us." Wyatt told him, letting his eyes glow gold for just a moment before returning to his natural brown shade.

"I suppose that's fine, but listen to any workers or Z-Patrol, do not go back in until Zevon or I give the word. Nothing will happen, but just in case. We don't want anyone to get hurt."

"Agreed, we can wait." Willa nodded.

"And the rest of you?" Dale asked.

The zombies and humans glanced between each other before Addison spoke up. "We want to stay with them, so we can help."

"Addison, it's a school night."

"Dad." Addison pleaded.

"With all due respect Mr. Wells, there isn't a curfew anymore."

"Yes, Eliza I know." Dale said sternly.

"So you can't stop us."

"Can Addison please come with us? We've all been part of this from the beginning." Zed asked.

"As far as I know they're just going to be triple checking that all the demolition lines are disconnected tonight, and tomorrow they'll be removing the charges, they aren't going to finish tonight I think its more important that you get some rest, I know you all have had plenty of late nights already this week."

"Please Dad?" Addison asked again.

"Fine." Dale said after a moment, "but I expect all of you to be in school tomorrow, and I'm going to make sure you're supervised tonight."

"Thank you Dad." Addison jumped up to give him a quick hug.

"Just be smart, and be safe, and I'll be calling Principal Lee tomorrow, if you aren't in school I'll come hunt you down myself."

"OK Dad."

"I promise Dale, we'll be at school."

"Good Zed, I know you won't want to make me mad." Dale joked, getting up and walking out of the room with a chuckle.

Everyone piled back into Bucky's car for the ride back to Zombietown.

"We did it guys." Addison cheered as got back on the road.

"Not quite, but this is the closest we've ever been. Thank you all, for helping us out so far." Willa graciously thanked them.

"Of course, we would. You're our friends." Zed said.

"And thank you for your support but you don't need to stay up all night with us, we'd be doing that anyway." Willa told them.

"We've come this far, I want to see the Moonstone with my own eyes before you take it back to your forest." Eliza said.

"You've all more than earned the right to be the first humans and zombies to see it in a hundred years." Willa agreed.

"Is anyone hungry?" Bree asked.

"I'm starving."

"You're always starving." Addison nudged Zed.

"I've been filling my mom in and she said she'd bring us all dinner if we're hungry. Who wants burgers or veggie burgers?"

"I think we already know what the numbers are going to be Bree." Eliza said.

"So six burgers, three veggie burgers?"

"I'll take veggie Bree."

"OK Addison."

Bucky spoke up from the driver's seat. "Actually Bree, I'll drop you guys off and then I'm heading home, trust me, you do not want to see me without beauty sleep, so I don't need anything."

"That's fine Bucky, you've already helped us out so much already." Addison told him again.

"As long as you two are still cheerfection at practice tomorrow, if you're snoozing, I will send you home."

"Don't worry Bucky, as long as I have coffee tomorrow, I'll be good." Addison smiled at him in the rearview mirror.

They pulled by the powerplant in the same spot they were in nearly an hour before. And everyone got out.

"Bye Bucky!" they all waved.

"Later everyone!" Bucky waved back, as he drove away.

"How's it going Pops?" Zed asked his dad.

Zevon glanced up from his clipboard. "It's going good Zed."

"Hold on you working late now? Should I go check on Zoey?"

"She's fine, I asked Kinzley's dad to invite her over for dinner at their house, and possibly have a sleepover."

"Thank you for hearing us out, Pops, I'm sorry I ruined your job."

"You didn't ruin anything son, from what I understand you did what you had to do to save your friends. Plus, not to toot my own horn, but thanks to our excellent foreman we were like three days ahead of schedule. Don't worry, we'll find your moon rock and then get right back to work."

"Good Pops, I'm happy for you."

"And I am for you too. So tell me, has Zoey been playing with an imaginary werefriend the last few days, or has she met your new friends too?"

Zed smiled a bit embarrassed, "Yeah, she's met them, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about them sooner, but you've been so busy and things have been moving so fast there just hasn't been the time."

"It's OK Zed. I know you didn't mean any disrespect, are you going to be here all night?"

"The wolves are, so we're all staying too. But we did promise to go to school tomorrow."

"I hope you know I'll hold you to that too."

"Of course I do Pops."

"Looks like you've got dinner, you should go join your friends." Zevon pointed over to where Bree's mom was walking up with several takeout bags.

"Goodnight Pops, you better get to bed soon too mister."

"I'll try Zed, but we'll keep working, as safe and as fast as we can." Zevon said with a chuckle.

Zed rejoined his friends moments after the burgers arrived.

"Thanks Mom." Bree said, taking the takeout bags from her and handing them off to Bonzo.

"Call me if you need anything else honey, or if you and Addison need a ride home or anything. But remember to be at school tomorrow."

"Yes Mom." Bree hugged her.

"Stay safe, I know you have Bonzo and the others but this is the first time I've been in Zombietown after dark." She whispered, "I'll admit I'm a little nervous about you staying here even though I know nothing bad will happen."

"You don't need to worry. And if we all go home, I'll call you." Bree promised.

"Goodnight Bree, Good night Bonzo."

"Goodnight Mom."

"Gruenos nochez."

"OK, Bonzo I think you have all the fries, so I guess I have the burgers." Bree said as they started digging everything out.

Bree and Bonzo quickly passed everything out and they all sat down in a circle on the pavement to eat, there was just enough light from the nearby light gardens to see, but not enough to block out the stars above.

Addison and Zed as always took advantage of the opportunity to be close, Addison leaning against Zed's chest while Zed had one arm wrapped around her.

"Hey," Zed whispered in her ear. "you don't have to be a vegetarian just because I am."

"You're right Zed, I don't have to, but I want too. Any burger's a burger, and if you can't do something, then it won't hurt anything if I fill your shoes for a little bit. These are just as good as real burgers. Plus you know lower calorie and better for the environment and all that."

"OK, I'm dumb forget I said anything."

"I will never forget anything you say, but Zed, I have no problem with fruits and vegetables, and while I probably will never go full vegetarian, I have no problem eating the same things you do from time to time."

"Even scrambled brains?"

"Yes, I think you make too big of a deal out of them, even though it is kind of weird how they try to make them brain flavored. I would happily eat them anytime."

"Or how my dad makes it, flavorless if you're lucky, gym sneakers if you aren't."

"That's enough complaining, just eat your food, I thought you said you were starving."

"Oh trust me, I am." Zed took a monstrous bite out of his burger, nearly taking in half of it in one bite.

"What are you too whispering about?" Willa asked with a grin, "Care to share?"

"Nothing important." Addison answered.

"These burgers are really good." Wynter said, "We should get them more often."

"We will, Wynter, next time we'll bring the whole pack to try them." Willa smiled.

"So Willa, do you really think everyone will want to join Seabrook?" Addison asked.

"Probably not everyone, but I bet a lot of the other wolves our age will want to come to school at least. Seabrook isn't as bad as we always thought it was. Too bad, we haven't stopped the destruction of the powerplant for good."

"Hey, I have an idea. How about we all share our favorite memories of it?" Bree suggested. "I'll go first, mine is the last Mash we had on Valentine's day, it's too bad that's the only one I've been to."

"I'd pintarr arg mural Z-band." Bonzo joined in.

"Wait, Bonzo, you were the one that painted that mural?" Addison asked.

"Gra, I pintarr muchoz Mash grru danz plantrrr."

"You painted most of it?" Bree asked.

"Wait are you three the one's that started Zombie Mashes?" Addison asked.

"Yeah, who else do you expect? All our parents were adults and weren't that interested in parties, much less parties that break curfew. We made the powerplant our home. Some adults helped us of course, but it was us and our friends who made it ours." Eliza explained.

"So you had a hand in this too?" Addison turned to Zed.

"Of course, honestly it was Eliza's idea, specifically as a place to break the rules."

"So how long ago did you start the Mash Pit?" Wynter asked.

"Well, artists always came in here to leave graffiti and express ourselves like Bonzo does, but of course when we needed a place to let loose and be ourselves, this was the perfect place. The Z-Patrol almost never went inside, just in case they could turn into zombies still or something." Zed said, rolling his eyes. "Plus since the dance floor was in the basement, we could be as loud as we want and usually no one would be any wiser."

"So Eliza, I'm guessing you're the one that made all the music equipment?" Bree asked.

"Yes, I did. That took months in itself, of sneaking out, crawling through dumpsters to find broken speakers and enough extension and aux chords to connect everything, but it wasn't too hard since Seabrook throws away literally anything that isn't perfect so usually, a speaker may just have a few scratches or have something simple to fix on the inside. Every single thing I pulled out of the trash was just barely out of perfect condition, and no one ever missed them."

"So Eliza, what is your favorite memory?" Wyatt asked.

"About a year and a half ago, the first time everyone else heard Bamm!"

"You wrote Bamm?" Addison asked.

"It was a group effort, me, Zed, and Bonzo all worked together on it, and it was our masterpiece. After the first night we played it, we couldn't throw a mash without it."

"So Zed, what's your favorite memory?" Willa asked.

"Like you really have to guess? Eliza scoffed, motioning at both Zed and Addison curled up together."

"Should we assume it's the first time you brought Addison to the powerplant?" Wyatt asked.

"What can I say, I'm a simple man. Before this year, the first night we danced and sang Bamm was my favorite memory too, but Addison will always take the cake. Even though we were interrupted."

"I know, just like you do too, the first time I saw the light garden was one of the best moments of my life, but I enjoyed hearing Bamm for the first time too." Addison agreed.

"Really, you liked it more than the light garden?" Zed asked, slightly surprised.

"I don't know, they're pretty close because when I danced with you guys I didn't care about being perfect, I only cared about having fun with all of you and just being me. And I got to see all of you having fun and letting loose too. But Zed made the second half of the night even better, and of course that was when I met Zoey. I'll just say the whole night, every single moment was my favorite." Addison leaned her head closer against Zed's shoulder as he squeezed her tighter.

"So wolves do you have any favorite memories of the powerplant?" Zed asked.

"I will tomorrow when we find the Moonstone." Willa said

"Now I guess, this is nice, and the only other time I've been here was a few hours ago when, you know." Wynter said, motioning to the handful of Z-Patrol cars still parked in the distance.

"I'm so sorry my dad did that to you." Addison apologized again, for what was probably the tenth time that night.

"Honestly it was at least partially our fault, if a rogue zombie just ran into the wolf den and attacked us I wouldn't be very happy either." Willa said, with a slightly embarrassed smile.

"But the important thing is that it's all working out now, right?" Bree asked.

"Yes, I suppose, that is the important thing." Willa smirked, so Wyatt, "you've actually spent time in the powerplant with Eliza, what was your favorite memory?"

"I don't know, I guess when we had to hide from that officer that heard us, that was kind of fun."

"I suppose it was Fido. At least you followed my directions, or we both would have been in containment that night."

"Hey, I know how it feels to be interrupted by Z-Patrol too." Zed laughed.

"Shut up Zed, not like you and Addison, we just didn't want to be seen. And besides, you ran and hid and just left Addison to fend for herself. I would have gotten her out easily."

"Maybe I panicked a little but-"

"It's totally fine Eliza, and I know why Zed and everyone else ran away that night when the Z-Patrol showed up. It of course started the whole fight with my parents, but everything worked out in the end, just like our mission will tomorrow."

"So, Eliza are you ready for Prawn on Saturday?" Zed asked, eager to change the subject.

"Yep, I have the playlist all set, all the humans are going to hear the greatest songs they have never heard before."

"So all of you are going?" Willa asked.

"Yep, you guys can come too, the more the merrier." Addison invited them.

"So who are you going with?" Wyatt asked, turning to Eliza.

"Solo, I don't need a stupid date, I'm the DJ, I'll be fine dancing with myself at the turntables."

"Well that's no fun, can I go with you?"

"Excuse me?" Zed wished he had his phone out, because the look on Eliza's face was priceless, either like they announced they were tearing down the barrier or someone smashed her computer, Zed couldn't decide which. He lifted his hand over his mouth to hide his grin.

"Well, you may not need a date, but I do. I can't go with Willa obviously. Plus Wynter's taken. If you'll allow me the honor of accompanying you, I would make your night wild." Wyatt smiled.

"Wynter, do you have a boyfriend?" Bree asked.

"Yes, his name's Wayde, he's smart, sweet, and sophisticated, what we got is anything but basic. He opens every door, all I want and more, I'm never gonna let him go." Wynter sighed dreamily.

"Where is he? Why haven't we met him yet?" Addison asked.

"He's been sick because of his moonstone, he would have come with us, but his necklace started running out of power the day before you all crashed into the forest. But it's fine, we'll find the Moonstone tomorrow and he can come to Prawn too." Wynter tried to keep her happiness up.

"Awe, that sounds so cute." Bree and Addison gushed.

"They really are." Willa agreed.

While Wynter continued talking about Wayde, Wyatt leaned over closer to Eliza. "So…can I go to Prawn with you?" he whispered.

"Fine, I suppose, just for one night, and don't get any ideas buster, the only worse than my bark is my bite."

"You got it, now do I really need anything?"

"I'm guessing you don't have a suit but I bet Zed and Bonzo can find you something if you really need it. I don't even know how he got his hands on his Seabrook pink suit to meet Addison's parents."

"Just another mystery." Wyatt laughed, "I bet we can have lots of fun together."

"We'll see how it goes." Eliza shot back, "Don't expect me to go brainless like the rest of them are just because you're in a suit. The worst part is going to be making all of them do anything but stare at each other when they all see their tuxes and dresses, I guarantee it."

"I can accept that, but I promise not to stare too much. I'm sure you'll look ravishing, and you of course feel free to enjoy the show." Wyatt smiled,

"I will, my show." Eliza turned away, what was wrong with her face? Like she couldn't stop smiling at him for some reason.

"Hey guys, how's everything going?" Zevon asked, walking up to their group.

"It's going great Pops, are you almost done for the night?"

"Yeah, we're just checking the primary detonator one more time to make sure its off and then we're all going home, and remember, school tomorrow, all of you."

"Yes Pops. Yes Zevon." They all chorused.

Zevon let out a hearty chuckle, "Well, goodnight you guys." Zevon waved, but as he turned away suddenly one of the demo crew workers ran up to Zevon.

"Oh my Z! Boss! Boss! We've got a problem!"

"What is it?" Zevon asked.

"The remote shorted out, now the detonation timer is running."

"Well shut it off!"

"I can't!"

Both the wolves and zombies heard that and started running back to the powerplant. Willa wasn't even thinking, she had to find the Moonstone. Now!

"NO! NO! Zed! Addison! No! It isn't safe!" Zevon hurried after the scattered group of teens sprinting back towards the danger.

BOOM! A massive fiery orange explosion lit up the night sky, and everyone felt the massive shockwave as it traveled into the air and through the ground. Before everyone's eyes, the entire powerplant collapsed into a burning pile of bricks and metal. Within moments, the only thing left standing was a single smokestack.

"Fire!" Bonzo shouted, but Bree latched onto his hand and pulled him down to her level.

"Bonzo, look at me." Bree said, gently holding his cheek in one hand. Staring deep into his terrified eyes as they came into focus on her. "Its OK, its not going to hurt you. Just breathe."

Bonzo's eyes lost their terrified edge, and he took a few deep breaths, following Bree's instructions. "Breezka?" He asked softly.

"I'm right here, it's OK Bonzo."

"Grazias Breezka."

"Og courze Bonzka, yor zafe." She whispered in his ear, and he surrounded her with a hug. When he let her go, they were still holding hands and turned back to their friends.

The wolves were devastated. "What have they done?" Willa whispered to herself. Moments later all three wolves started harshly coughing as their eyes and necklaces glowed sickly green.

"It's over." Wyatt choked out. "It's only a matter of time until we're crowfood." They had failed, he had failed, everything they had done, all for nothing, their pack would soon be gone forever.

The wolves began to slowly stumble back to the forest. This would be their last visit to Seabrook, the last time any wolves could exist. The tiny flame of hope they had received from their friends was now extinguished.

"Hey, guys, hold on. Wait!" Addison called out.

"What is it Addison?" Willa asked, all hope gone from her features.

"This can't be it, right?"

"It has to be Addison, we all felt it, the Moonstone was there, but now it's gone. Now we can only go home and wait. Wait for the end."

"It doesn't have to be that way. Maybe, maybe it's still buried down there, and all we have to do is dig it up."

"No Addison." Willa growled, "I'm sorry, but we felt it, the Moonstone is gone. This is goodbye."

"Willa, I know you don't like to give up, and none of us do either but meet us here after school tomorrow, it could still be down there. Right Zed?"

"Well, if it is way down by the Mash area, it could still be there. Hey Pops!" Zed called out.

Zevon walked back over from where he was talking with some of the other workers. "What is it son? None of you are hurt are you?"

"No, we're all good, for now. Pops, exactly where were the charges placed?"

"All over the whole building Zed, the plan was to demolish it with one explosion."

"Were the charges placed in the lower levels?" Eliza asked.

"In some of them, in levels B1-B3 for the underground areas, the plan was for everything to collapse on itself so we didn't go any further than that. Why?"

"The mash pit is on level B5, so no explosions directly happened below B3?" Eliza asked.

"Yes, that's correct." Zevon agreed.

"Addison's right you guys, there's still a chance the Moonstone could be down there." Eliza said, her eyes scanning the air like she was looking through blueprints in her head.

"Are you certain?" Wyatt asked.

Zevon shrugged his shoulders, "Possibly, but we won't know for sure until we start looking, I'll have the crew start digging around tomorrow, but after all this excitement, I think everyone is ready to go home, and you guys should go get some sleep too."

"Alright, we need to go check on the pack too, if we felt it, who knows what's happening at the Den with everyone still sick." Willa agreed.

"But you'll come to school tomorrow? Right?" Addison asked.

"I don't think so Addison, the pack will come first, but we'll meet you all here in the afternoon alright?"

"You got it Willa."

"See you all tomorrow then." Willa waved as the wolves walked off into the night, but this time they kept it at a walk, fearful of using their powers and depleting their moonstones even faster now.

"Do you want to call your parents to come get you?" Zevon turned to Bree and Addison.

"Oh yeah, my Mom said she'd come get me if I needed anything, I'll call her now. Addison do you need a ride?" Bree asked, taking out her phone and walking a few paces away with Bonzo beside her.

"Yeah, thanks Bree."

"Well, I guess this is goodnight Addison." Zed pulled her close to him, and she melted into his embrace.

"I know, it has been a long day and night. We were so close to fixing everything." Addison sighed.

"And like you said, we will fix it, it's just a million tons of rubble, it might take a few days, but I know we can still find it."

"Or what if we do find it, and it is destroyed?"

"Then we'll find something else, if science can create the Z-bands to make us ourselves, I know we can make Moonbands to keep the wolves alive."

"Moonbands?" Addison laughed softly, surprised she could still laugh, but Zed always made everything better.

"What else would we call them?"

"I don't know, but I feel like Willa and Eliza would probably argue with you about the name."

"That's just because if those two didn't have something to argue about, they would actually be happy for the first time ever and they wouldn't know what to do with themselves."

"Addison! My mom's here!" Bree called out, as her car pulled up.

"Goodnight Addie."

"Goodnight Zed."

"I love you. Gar gar gaza.

"I love you too. Gar gar gaza.

Addison turned and walked over to the car where Bree was already explaining just what was going on to her Mom, as they drove off, Addison couldn't help looking back at the ruins of the powerplant, some orange flashes of flame still smoldering in the night. The center of zombie and werewolf culture was now in ruins, but hopefully, it was just buried. She wanted to believe it was only buried, she didn't want to lose her new friends so soon.
