Somewhere below Hope's peak academy
Nagito attempted to kill Junko Enoshima. Unfortunately for him, Izuru, the ultimate hope, prevented him from doing so. Like Nagito, he has luck as well. He swiftly snatched his gun from his hand and shot Nagito in the chest. Chiaki, the ultimate gamer, came to him and was worried. Fortunately, Nagito's handbook shielded him from being penetrated.
Although he was fine, he lost consciousness after. Ryota was beyond scared when Izuru shot Nagito and fell on the ground. He ran away from the terrifying scene, thinking the lucky student was dead. Junko was cheering for Izuru after he protected her from the lucky student and everything seemed to be going her way until someone appeared out of nowhere between the two.
Izuru sensed a dangerous presence behind him and tensed up, no longer having a straight face. He quickly turned to the direction where the sudden presence had appeared. Although he barely showed any emotions, he was feeling something had never shown before, Fear.
Junko was also startled by his sudden appearance. "Ahhh!!" the ultimate fashionista screamed. "Where did you come from? And what's up with that weird costume?" she said to the purple man."Why am I suddenly feeling like this? This man... who is he?" Izuru thought, he could tell the man was very powerful. Junko noticed this. She has never seen Izuru like this. "Could he be feeling despair?" she thought with little bit of excitement.
The assassin spoke up, catching everyone's attention. "Junko Enoshima, I have come to kill you." suprising everyone in the room. "Kill her? Could he be an assassin?"
"Huh? Kill me? Who do you think you are mister?" said the fashionista. "Who am I does not matter." replied the man. "This guy... he's kinda getting on my nerves! But my buddy here will take care of him!" she was confident that no one could get in the way of her plans. She turned to Izuru and gave him a hint to attack but he stood still.
Izuru shook his head. "No? What do you mean?" she asked. "It's meaningless. I'm no match for him." said the ultimate hope casually. "What? You're saying he's stronger than you?" She then looked at the assassin again and realized something. "Wait... that's not a costume?"
Hit sees no more point in stalling and decides to end her life right now. He raises his fist which seems to aiming at her heart. Junko felt betrayed by Izuru who decided not to even try protecting her from the assassin. Most importantly for her, she felt despair.
"Is this it? My plan stops here?" she said with a little of excitement. Not long after, she felt immense pain on her chest like something was penetrating her. A hole has formed at her heart. "My plans... ruined. Killed by possibly the ultimate assassin... ohhhh the despair!" she said happily out loud before collapsing to the ground.
The ultimate fashionista is now dead just like that. Izuru tried to analyze the assassin's movements but it seemed that all he did was raise his fist and send a pressure of air? It was all Izuru thought what he could've done. "He's not human..." the long haired boy concluded. With his mission accomplished, the assassin took his leave and dissapeared in a instant. This surpised Izuru and Chiaki who was confused and scared after all this time.
However, Chiaki still got courage. She approached Izuru and tried talking to him "Hajime..." she said quietly while putting her hand on his shoulder.
He looked at her with a straight face. "..." As the ultimate hope looked at gamer girl with silence. He felt nothing by looking at her but at the same, she felt familiar. He gently putted her hand off his shoulder and then walked outside the room. Chiaki tried chasing after him but soon he was nowhere to be seen.
Everything seems to have calmed down after Junko's death. One of the staffs , Chisa, found Chiaki and she told the teacher what happened. Mukuro was found lying down on the ground unconscious by Juzo, another staff. Chisa told the rest of the staff what happened so they kept Mukuro in custody. They found several students who were behaving strangely and some even tried to attack them.
Ryota heard of Junko's death and finally stepped out of hiding and offered to help. He knew how to undo the brainwashing of the students. The brainwashed students were turned back to normal by the ultimate animator soon afterwards.
Meanwhile, Izuru was sitting on top of a building. He had no purpose even though he was free. He was still wondering why he knocked out Mukuro back in Hope's peak academy. He knew that Mukuro would go on a rampage if she saw her sister's liveless body. He could care less but he still knocked her out anyway. Why though? Was it because of that girl that felt familiar? Did he wanted to protect her from Mukuro's potential wrath? He then looked at the clear sky, wondering what he will do next.
