Back in Seabrook a few days earlier, everyone was just going about their daily routines like normal. Bucky of course had jumped at the chance to fill Addison's shoes for the week at cheer practice, but Bree was still able to work well with him as a team, so cheer was still going just great.

Football though, just wasn't the same without Zed there, for Wynter at least. With him gone she didn't have anyone she could go toe to toe against on the field, but she could manage, she just had to let some more energy out on the tackling dummies than usual.

The one who was feeling Zed and Addison's absence the most was Coach though. While he was perfectly fine with Zed taking a week off to have some fun, he was completely swamped with customers. About halfway through the week, he started planning his own vacation with his Great Aunt Edna so he could rest and recover.

But now it was Friday night and everyone else was ready to not think about work and sports for a few days, and even though they were all loyal to Coach's Froyo, they decided just this once it wouldn't hurt to hit up Cheery on Top instead. Despite its continuing lack of diversity on the menu, which Eliza was all too happy to complain about for the hundredth time.

"I mean I get that maybe they don't want to do zombie or werewolf flavors, but would it kill them to add, I don't know some sort of fruit flavor or chocolate or something?"

"I'm pretty sure Addison's had to have brought that up to them by now," Bree laughed, "although in not quite the same words as you Eliza."

"Yeah yeah." Eliza just shook her head.

"So, what did you get?" Wyatt asked her.

"Triple Vanilla, it's the closest thing to new they have here, maybe my brain will explode from all the vanilla in it." Eliza joked.

"Enog zurn gruman." Bonzo laughed.

"Yeah, I don't think so Bonzo. I'm rotten to the core. It'll take more than a little vanilla to change that."

"So what do we want to do tonight?" Bree asked the table.

"We could just hang out somewhere. Are there any more zombie or human stories we can share? I know we still have plenty of wolf tales." Wyatt suggested.

"Yeah I have plenty of things I could tell you, and the best part Zed isn't here to give his side of the story. I'm in." Eliza cackled.

"But we don't have Addison either, and she always loves it when we swap stories," Bree said.

"Don't worry Bree, I'm sure we can always fill her in some other time. But we can still have fun without them." Willa declared.

"Alright, so want to come to my house for a change since it's closest to here compared to Zombietown and the Den?" Bree offered.

"Sure thing Bree. I don't think we've been to your house yet. I can't wait to see your Den." Wynter agreed excitedly.

"Sounds good to me," Eliza added.

"Gra." Bonzo also agreed.

"We're in too." Wyatt and Willa both nodded.

"Great, so let's just finish up our snacks, and then we can go, and just to warn you, if I know my mom, we'll have plenty of snacks at home when she sees all of you there." Bree laughed.

After they finished their froyo they all headed down the street a few blocks away to Bree's house, Bree and Bonzo of course leading the way hand in hand.

Bree walked through her doorway first with everyone following close behind. Her parents were both sitting in the living room watching TV so she waved at them and said. "Hi Mom, Dad, we're all going to hang out in the basement, OK?"

Her mom smiled at her. "Of course Bree, you can all make yourselves comfortable. And Bree do you all want some cookies?"

"I'm sure they'll be greatly appreciated Mom." Bree nodded, "Just call me up and I'll come get them."

"Of course Bree, have fun everyone. And good evening to you Bonzo."

"Grallo!" Bonzo waved back before Bree tugged him along, leading everyone to the basement stairs. Once they were down in the basement everyone spread out around the couches all ready to kick back and relax.

"So, who wants to go first?" Willa asked.

"Bree, you're our host, you should start," Eliza said, from where she was seated next to Wyatt, but not cuddling with him, unlike what Bree and Bonzo were already doing on the couch in the center of the room.

"OK, let me think…. Oh, I know, this is kind of funny looking back on it now after all this time." Bree chuckled to herself. "So remember the first day of school this year…everything was going great so far. I was super fired up to try out for the cheer squad and I had met Addison that morning but something between us just clicked immediately, we were talking to each other every free moment we had about how excited we were for cheer."

"This isn't a cheerleading story is it?" Eliza interrupted her.

"No, it's not, this is before I was on the squad. So it was our last class of the day when suddenly the Z-Alarm started going off. So then of course, absolutely everyone started panicking, me included. Everyone ran screaming out of the classroom like we expected a hungry zombie to be creeping around every corner. But Addison kept her cool the entire time even though I was a wreck inside because I didn't know what really was inside all of you." Bree reached out and gently squeezed Bonzo's hand while looking into his eyes.

"So Addison led me out of the classroom and we were about to head into the Zombie Safe Room when suddenly I saw a flash of green hair in front of me. It was Zed, but of course, I didn't know that at the time so I ran screaming down the hallway in the other direction. I left Addison behind, not my proudest moment, but we all know what happened to them next."

"Yes, and can we skip that part? I've already had enough sugar from the froyo." Eliza groaned.

"I guess," Bree laughed "so eventually we made it outside to the football field, everyone was still scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off. It took Principal Lee and all the other teachers about half an hour just to get everyone to stop screaming and stand still so they could count everyone and make sure no one was missing. And then Bucky realized Addison wasn't outside with us, so he actually went inside himself to look for her."

"And then he was a jerk to Zed. Why are you bringing this up? 'll be the first to admit I'm ecstatic that so much has changed, but why did you bring this up?" Eliza asked.

"Just cause I was thinking like that about how much has changed, and I was scared of all of you when you first came to school, and now you're all my best friends. And of course, this big green teddy bear is the best boyfriend I could ever ask for." Bree snuggled up closer to Bonzo.

"Breezka, bezt grufriend." Bonzo bent down to kiss her temple.

"And I thought we could avoid PDA with Zeddison gone." Eliza sighed, and then she checked her watch, "wherever they are, I guarantee they've snuck away from Zevon and Zoey every day to make out at least once. Anyone want to take that bet?"

"No thanks, I think we all know not to bet against something like that." Wyatt chuckled. "So does that mean I can't serenade you either tonight?"

"Serenade me? Ha. I'd like to see you try."

"Is that a challenge?"

"No, not with all of them here. You and I can be more civilized and wait until we have some privacy." Eliza whispered in his ear, but with all the super hearing in the room, it wasn't quite quiet enough.

"Ooh, what kind of privacy?" Willa grinned. "Tell us more Eliza. Just what do you have planned tonight with my brother?"

"None of your business, how Wyatt and I like to spend our time together is none of your concern. So anyway back on topic, since Bree brought it up, allow me to tell you the zombie side of Zed's brainiac idea to sneak out to join the football team."

"So we were of course still in the basement, bored out of our skulls because at the time they made no actual plans for us to really be part of the school. Even Mr. Zeck had pretty much checked out for the day, so I was talking with some of our friends about staging a zombie uprising and Bonzo was in the flow of drawing something."

"Agh Ezcuela." Bonzo supplied, "zo fenzes orr divizions."

"Of course that was what you were drawing Bonzo, but I was coming up with a plan to actually get us there. So there we were, minding our own business and just waiting for them to let us go back home to Zombietown."

"When suddenly the Z-Alarm started screeching in our ears. With our advanced hearing, it shocked all of us, even me. Just a little bit. But of course Bonzo started freaking out that it was the fire alarm so I tried to calm him. Unsuccessfully. So he tried to run out the door but right when he opened it, a whole troop of Z-Patrol rushed in and forced us to stand silently against the wall."

"What did they do next? And Bonzo, were you OK?" Bree asked him worried. She had never really thought about what the other zombies had gone through during the panic.

"Ez fine." Bonzo reassured her.

"Other than being knocked to the ground by the door and then marched over to the wall like an animal. Even Mr. Zeck had to stand with us." Eliza grumbled and continued her tale.

"First, they searched us and our bags like we were crazy enough to do something dangerous with us or something. Thankfully I hid my computer under a workbench when the alarms started going off. And then of course they checked all our Z-bands to make sure they were fully functional, and while they were doing this, I realized Zed was gone so this had to be his fault somehow. They asked us all our names, but they accepted everyone was still in there. Obviously, they didn't even make an attendance sheet for us that's how little they actually cared." Eliza rolled her eyes, "and thankfully Mr. Zeck didn't correct them."

"So, then we had to wait and stand still and silent until a half hour after school was supposed to get out, just to make sure we didn't go near any human students as they walked home. That was the stupidest day ever, and then when we found Zed again and he wouldn't shut up about a certain cheerleader that punched him in the face. Eliza's frown morphed into a smile. I thought he was so brainless, I could never have imagined back then that either Addison or football could have possibly worked out for him, but look where we are."

"And you wouldn't change a thing, I mean I know you still probably have a million more things to change, but you wouldn't change how we got here and now right?" Bree asked.

"Oh, there are definitely a few things I would change, mainly the homecoming game. Now that was the worst day of my life, but I know I'm happy now." Eliza even rested her head lightly against Wyatt's shoulder as she said this.

"Great story Eliza, even if its kind of a downer, but I'm always happy to learn more about you," Wyatt whispered to her and pulled her tighter to him for a few moments.

"Oh then I'd like to see you do better, and it was a natural part of the conversation. That day was just so infuriatingly stupid for all of us." Eliza grumbled back.

"Ok I have an idea, so this was your first day of school? Do you guys want to know what we were probably doing that day?"

"How would you know that?"

Wyatt started to explain, "Well, before we joined Seabrook we mostly stuck to our own calendar that more specifically follows the moon's cycle, not that the human calendar is bad but we just never used it until we started going to school. But I can think of one story that should be around the same time school started for you guys last year."

Willa perked up with a knowing gleam in her eye, "Wait, you don't mean…?"

"Yes, I do." Wyatt grinned back at Willa. "Have a problem with that?"

"Of course I don't, I have nothing to hide, but I won't hesitate to correct you if you tell it wrong."

"Don't worry I got this."

"So anyway, it was still in the greenleaf moons, I mean summer months. Sometime last August." Wyatt shrugged his shoulders as he began his story.

"It was a normal day in the woods, back then we were still looking for any signs of the Moonstone we could find, but we weren't in crisis mode yet like we were when we finally asked you for help. After Willa, Wynter, and I finished everything we had to do that day, Willa decided maybe we should look outside our territory for any sign of it."

"If only we knew I was right way back then."

"Hey, I was the one who suggested we look in Seabrook, and it's not like you were any more right than I was since you decided maybe the humans had hidden it in the mountains somewhere." Wyatt shot back at her.

"So anyway, with Mother and Father's permission, the three of us decided to head up to the mountains away from our land for a few days to see what we could find. After we crossed our border we just ran for the first day or so, putting in as much distance as possible, and looking for any sign of the moonstone we could find. You can probably guess that we didn't find the Moonstone, but we did find plenty of other interesting things."

"What was it?" Bree asked, sounding like she was on the edge of her seat.

"We eventually found a campsite. There were about three or four tents sat up in a line, with a nearby firepit. We were of course careful at first, but we quickly realized that all the campers must have gone somewhere else during the day, so we had the place to ourselves.

"Now keep in mind that the number one rule we had since we were attacked was never let a human see you or else they could bring more humans to hunt us down. But after a brilliant argument by Wynter and I, we convinced Willa to let us investigate their campsite."

"Right, a brilliant argument?" Willa rolled her eyes. "You and Wynter begged like pups for me to let you go look at everything."

"Hey, everything turned out great in the end, you just let me get back to the story. So anyway we followed our noses, for the most part the tents were empty of anything that wasn't sleeping bags and pillows, but eventually, we followed our noses to their hidden treasure." Wyatt grinned.

"And just what was that?" Eliza raised an eyebrow.

"Their food stash. They had everything stuffed in a big garbage bag and tied to a tree for some reason. Like that could stop us." Wyatt chuckled.

"I think that's to keep food away from bears." Bree supplied.

"Bears? Ha ha. There aren't any bears anywhere near Seabrook!" That got Willa to laugh out loud. "The most dangerous predators in the wilderness around Seabrook is us. I'd be surprised if our parents even saw a bear in the woods in their lifetimes."

Wyatt took over again, "Anyway, back to the story, so it didn't take us long to figure out the food was in the bag, and even less time for us to untie the knot around the tree and the bag fell to the ground. We looked at, smelled, and tasted everything because we had almost never had human food before unless someone took it from a campsite."

"All of it was delicious." Wynter sighed in happiness at the memory, "until we got to the last things."

"At the bottom of the bag was one last plastic container, and in it was three things; graham crackers, small white things called marshmallows, and brown stuff called chocolate."

"Oh, I see where this is going." Eliza shot Wyatt a knowing grin.

"So we tried each of those things, and that chocolate was the best thing ever. It was just so sweet, I never tasted anything like it before." Wynter butted in with the happiest of smiles on her face.

"The marshmallows were great too, but nothing could beat the chocolate." Wyatt agreed. "And then I noticed on the graham cracker box that there were directions on making something called smores. And it sounded like combining everything after roasting the marshmallows over the fire made it even better."

"We knew we couldn't just stay there all day in case the humans returned, plus we also knew that finding the Moonstone out there was a long shot anyway. So we decided to head back to our territory, with the smores ingredients with us. And on the way back we stopped at any campsites we could find, and literally every single one had what we needed."

"So by the time we got back to the den our arms were of food, and we had the perfect use for it. Back then we weren't desperate yet, but everyone was a little more stressed than usual around the Den. Especially our parents."

"So we decided to share what we found with the whole pack. That night we had a big fire, and it took us a few tries. The sacrifice of those brave marshmallows in the flames will never be forgotten." Wyatt's voice turned melancholy for a few moments. "But we eventually got the hang of it, and the directions were right, those three ingredients combined were even better than ever. As you all know, smores are the greatest thing humans ever created."

"That night every wolf had a smore and everyone was howling in delight. It's a wonder no one in Seabrook heard us, but yeah that was a great night. Obviously, I'm not sure if it was your first day of school but it had to be close anyway." Wyatt finished his tale.

"Well, if it was, I definitely didn't hear anything."

"What were you doing out at night Bree? No offense but I can't see you going out at night before you met all of us." Eliza asked her.

"Well…I was in Zombietown with Addison for cheer initiation." Bree blushed.

"What? You were there too? All Zed talked about that next day was that Addison was there. I can't believe I never knew that." Eliza shouted.

"Are you really surprised Addison was the only one Zed could focus on?" Bree laughed, "but Eliza, your mom saw us. She scared Bucky and the Aceys away so Addison and I hid in Zed's yard where he found us."

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense, even that first day Zed was crazy about her after she punched him in the face. But whatever. I heard from Mom about scaring away the cheerleaders too, but I seriously didn't know you were there too."

"And don't worry, even back then I one hundred percent agreed with Addison about not egging houses."

"Og courze gru didnrrt." Bonzo squeezed her hand tighter.

"Well, anyways speaking of smores." Bree glanced down at her phone for a moment, "Mom just texted me she had the cookies hot and ready, so I'll be right back." Bree hopped up from the couch to head back upstairs.

A few moments later, Bree returned, and she brought the enchanting aroma of chocolate back down with her. In her hand was a plate full of chocolate chip cookies. "Ok, you guys, their fresh from the oven so be careful they could still be hot."

She set the plate down on the coffee table in the middle of the room. But then she had to pull back quickly when all the hungry monsters went on the attack.

Willa, Wynter, Wyatt and Bonzo all practically pounced on the cookies like they were about to escape, and the heat didn't seem to bother them one bit considering how fast their cookies moved from their hands to their mouths.

After everyone else was savoring their snack Eliza took her turn to dive in and grab a cookie or two. Thankfully they had plenty, so no one had to worry too much about missing out on seconds.

Bree just shook her head at all her friends before taking a cookie for herself and sitting back down beside Bonzo. She couldn't help herself from sighing in happiness as she felt the warm chocolate chops melt in her mouth either. For a few minutes, the only sounds in the basement were from chewing and low growls of appreciation.

"Wow Bree, these are so delicious!" Wynter howled. "I think they even rival smores!"

"No way, while these cookies are great, nothing will ever beat smores," Wyatt said around half the cookie he was still chewing.

"I don't know, I think I have to agree with Wynter, and so far at least you're a lot cleaner than when you make smores. I mean seriously every time we've had smores you always end up with marshmallows in your hair and chocolate on your cheek." Eliza teased Wyatt.

"That's just how much I enjoy them."

"Awwooo!" Willa howled loudly. "There you go Bree, I just told your mom she makes the best cookies ever."

"Thanks, I'll be sure to pass on the message when I go back upstairs again," Bree laughed. "And Bonzo, I bet I already know your opinion?"

"Madrre'z cozinar ziempre deliziozo." Bonzo nodded along happily. "Juzt guzta gru." Bonzo playfully tapped her nose with his finger.

"Awe Bonzo, you always have such a way with words." Bree sighed happily into his embrace.

"Hey, I don't suppose you guys have any zombie cookies? The only thing we wolves use chocolate for is smores." Wyatt asked.

"Well, not really, keep in mind I would hope most cookies are vegetarian Fido." Eliza shook her head. "Do you expect us to put caulibrains in our cookies? Why would we want to ruin our few sources of sweetness in our lives."

"Besides me right?"

"Oh please, you're not sweet. Zeddison and Breezo over there have more than enough sweetness to cover all of us now."

"You don't think I'm sweet?" Wyatt playfully pouted.

"No, but you are handsome, so you've got that going for you. There, does that help fix your werewolf pride?" Eliza reached up and scratched him behind the ear.

"OK, ok. We're good I promise." Wyatt closed his eyes and started sighing in even more happiness, "Oh that's good."

"Have some dignity brother. Did you tell her how to do that?"

Eliza stopped scratching behind his ear, and with a sigh, Wyatt regained his composure, "Actually no, she just did it one day, but I would never tell her to stop."

"And just how did this happen, Eliza?" Bree asked, she caught Bonzo's eye and had to stifle her giggles.

Eliza just rolled her eyes at all of them. "Fine if you must know I did it for science. When we had some downtime at work one day, we were comparing zombie and werewolf powers and Wyatt said besides silver, and ticks, and rabies, he said that werewolves don't have any weaknesses, but I knew from all the times Zoey and Wynter have played together that scratching him behind the ear was a big weakness. But then Fido here claimed it wouldn't work on him, but considering how Wynter is literally putty in Zoey's hands whenever I saw her do it, I was pretty certain it work on Wyatt too."

"So then I of course had to test my hypothesis, and once again I was right. And I know how to make you do whatever I want."

"I already do whatever you want," Wyatt promised loyally.

"But I have another tool in my toolbox."

"OK if that's the story you want to go with," Willa said sarcastically.

"What's with you now?"

"Like I don't know about all the nights you come back to the Den late? I mean you aren't Zeddison or anything, but you Wyatt are not as stealthy as you think you are."

"Hey I'm stealthy, you're such a great big sister and alpha that you can't sleep when you know I'm not in the Den. When I come back late I'm quiet so I don't wake the whole pack up, not because I'm hiding anything."

"Well, either way, I'm just saying, you can't hide anything from me."

"OK how about we change the topic then," Wyatt suggested.

"Great idea Wyatt." Eliza readily agreed.

"Oh I see how it is, you love to dish it out to everyone else, but when someone's aimed at you, you shrink away huh?" Willa teased her.

"Hardly, I never shrink away from a challenge."

"Whatever you say." Willa laughed.

"So do you guys want to watch a movie or anything?" Bree suggested.

"Sure, but I doubt you have something we can all agree with."

Bree thought to herself for a minute, "Actually I think I have the perfect thing I saw on Netflix a few days ago." Bree grabbed the remote and turned on the TV to start scrolling. "And here we go." She said as the title appeared on the screen.

"AXL? What makes you think we'll all like this?" Eliza asked.

"Well, Bonzo and I watched it before and it has art, a cute love story but it isn't focused too heavily on romance, and it quite literally combines technology and dogs. Plus they stick it to the government a lot, so I'm sure you'll like it, Eliza."

"Alright, I'm game. But when you say a cute love story…?"

"Don't worry it's really more about the guy and the dog, but you'll see." Bree smiled evasively as she pressed play.

About an hour and a half later they finished the movie, and everyone agreed it was pretty good, even though the ending was one of the saddest things ever. Wynter was even whimpering a little bit after AXL's noble sacrifice. But when they realized what the time now was, they knew they probably had to head out unless they wanted to turn this into a full-blown unplanned sleepover.

So Bree led everyone back upstairs and everyone waved goodbye and headed out. Well almost everyone, Bonzo waited until everyone else already walked outside to the front porch before Bonzo pulled Bree close to him.

"Breezka, nochez ez divartidarr."

"I know Bonzo, I had fun too, and it was even better like always because you were right beside me."

"Arg cookies deliziozo."

"Right, I'm sure Mom's cooking is the only reason you come here."

"Of courze zo. Ig car gru. Breezka. Grood nochez."

"Good night Bonzo, call me tomorrow and we'll make sure to do something just the two of us."

"Gra, I rrg hablarr." Bonzo nodded his head. "Gar Gar Gaza Breezka."

"Gar Gar Gaza Bonzka." Bree returned.

Bonzo bent down low to meet Bree in a kiss while giving one of his patented hugs that surrounded her completely and were as comforting as a blanket. There was nowhere else she would ever choose to be over his cool, strong, and gentle embrace.

"Good night Bonzo." Bree said again, holding onto his cool hand until the last possible second as he walked out the door, "and I know you have Eliza and the wolves with you, but remember to text me when you get ok?"

"Abzolutely Breezka." Bonzo nodded one more time. Before he let go of her hand, he turned and bowed down to kiss her hand with a grin, before walking down the sidewalk to meet the rest of their friends who were waiting on him, all with matching mischievous grins on their faces.

Bree waved at all of them one more time before closing the door and heading up to her room for the night.

Outside the streets of Seabrook were filled with more teasing and laughter between friends as they made their way to Zombietown, it was mostly on the way anyway, plus they all knew Wyatt wouldn't miss an opportunity to walk Eliza home.

Once they passed through the main gate, Willa, Wynter, and Bonzo all gradually slowed their steps to give the other two their own space, but not too much space, with all of their powers, they could still hear every word.

Not that it was hard, Wyatt and Eliza sometimes seemed to slip into their own world, just as much as Zed and Addison when they were free from other distractions.

"No Wyatt, I am not making you a robot wolf like AXL is."

"Come on I know you could do it. You can build anything out of anything."

"I can't remember for sure but I'm pretty sure the movie said AXL cost like a bajillion dollars, and while I agree I'm probably the best computer wizard in Seabrook, I don't think it's going to happen. Plus I doubt your pack would want a robot dog running around your woods."

"Of course, they will, if they all saw that movie I know they would all agree with me. But ok, how about a robot dog about the size of Puppy instead of a full-sized wolf?"

"Maybe, I'll think about it, but I don't make any promises."

"That's good with me. Now, why did you tell them about you finding as you like to call it, the puppy spot behind my ear was an experiment? I'm pretty sure that's not how I remembered it." Wyatt teased her.

Eliza rolled her eyes at him in the darkness. "Yeah, I'm going to tell all my best friends, I found a way to make my boyfriend go literally weak at the knees when I was in the middle of making out with him. Bonzo, and when he eventually told Zed would never let me live it down."

"Well, fine then your secret's safe with me. But why do you always act like we never do anything others do? Especially when we have fun doing it?"

"Just because, Wyatt, I do really care about you, but you know…I like being the angry zombie ready to take on the world, and up until this past year, meeting humans, and meeting you and the wolves there weren't that many things I was allowed to truly feel happy about that wasn't in danger of being taken away. But you always make me happy, even when you're an annoying furball."

"OK, I get it. I know Willa had to go through a lot of the same things in the months leading up to when we all met with how much pressure she put on herself to save the pack. Don't worry, I promise I've never told anyone anything you don't want me to."

"I know I can trust you Wyatt, and don't worry once Zed and Addison come back, all the attention will be on them again. If they've spent their week how I imagine they have, I already have so many jokes ready to go. Zed isn't going to know what hit him."

"I know they said they plan to go to zoos and an amusement park and museums and stuff but what are you thinking?"

"It's Zeddison, they always want to be alone. And I guarantee with only Zoey and Zevon around, they're going to be taking every advantage they can get. In fact, I propose a bet."

"Name your terms." Wyatt smiled down at her.

"I guarantee the first night they come home, Zed is going sneak into Addison's house because after a week of being glued together 24/7 they aren't going to know how to be alone again."

"Come on, they aren't that bad."

"Really?" Eliza raised an eyebrow. "You sure about that?"

"OK, Addison wouldn't let Zed get in trouble if he tried, but sure you're on. Usual terms?"

"You bet." Eliza raised her hand up and Wyatt grabbed it and they shook on it.

"Ha, I know you're going to lose, don't come crying to me when you do."

"Maybe we'll both be surprised." Wyatt shot back. "Oh, looks like we're here." Wyatt walked her up to her front porch and then stepped back to lean against one of the many purple chairs that covered Eliza's house.

"Thanks for walking me home Wyatt. And because I'm feeling generous tonight and I know for a fact you're going to lose…" Eliza stepped closer to him and gave him a long, tender kiss on his lips. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight Eliza. Awoo." Wyatt howled softly.

"Awoo." Eliza returned with a smile before entering her house a moment later.

Wyatt turned around and walked back the way he came to meet up with Wynter and Willa who were standing across the street outside of Zed's yard.

"So, did you get a goodnight kiss brother?" Willa teased him.

"Maybe I did, but it's more than you'll get tonight."

"You think I care about that?" Willa shook her head. "I'm an alpha, I'm independent."

"Maybe so, but you're a pack wolf, not a lone wolf Willa, I'm sure you'll understand someday."

"Oh yes, if the stars align." Willa rolled her eyes. "We better get back to the Den soon."

"Yeah, I don't know about you two, but I definitely need my goodnight kiss from Wayde, those are the only thing on Earth that are sweeter than Smores and Bree's mom's cookies!" Wynter howled, a bit louder than necessary.

"Alright Wynter, I know not to keep you waiting. Let's head home."
