The Road So Far…
I was in the inner workings of the Sol-3 as I found myself in the heart of it. Before sabotaging the system, I saw a camera on the wall as I used my raw power to destroy it in which I resumed my task the moment I saw a console that powered the Sol-3. With the codes put into it, I saw the computer system overriding the whole satellite as I was most likely to be rescuing Dean and getting out of here with Nibori and Rowena in tow after this. I had my work cut out for me as the time to shut down Project Amaterasu was already in fruition in which I was ready to reunite with everyone and flee this old place. I couldn't let anyone down this time as I was thinking about my family and friends who were wanting the Sol Project to be scrapped completely.
"And so, another part of the Sol Project is sabotaged," I said as I was ready to leave. After this, it'll be Project Helios and that is that."
I was ready to regroup as I had to rescue Dean and unite with Nibori and Rowena in which the time to destroy Project Amaterasu was almost over. Just as I was about to do so, I heard something creeping in the vents as I saw Dean emerge out of it the moment he was happy to see me. Even though he found me, our battle wasn't over as we also had to deal with whoever was on the Sol-3, for we weren't alone here on this satellite.
"Well, Sammy, we got work to do," he said to me.
Now…
Shion was in hiding as she saw the impending horde crawling everywhere. The sight of soulless dolls and Ketch machines were too much as they were encroaching further into the infrastructure of the Order's main headquarters on Westeros. She was outnumbered, but not without a fight as she heard a ship approaching in which it fired lasers at the impending horde that invaded the Order's main headquarters in the first place. Running towards a window, she saw a Tirithian ship with all the trimmings here as it took out the wave of soulless dolls and Ketch machines that invaded here. It wasn't long until she noticed the Tirithian ship landing in a clearing in which she rushed outside to see who it was. By the time she got there, she saw several members of the Tirithian Army emerging out of it as they were ready to protect and defend the Order's main headquarters on Westeros, for the time to do so was already beginning.
"Thanks for the assistance," she said as she was happy to see everyone put a damper on the Executive Division's cruelty. "It seems that your Emperor must've sent you here to help me."
The commander of the Tirithian ship emerged as it was a Half-Elf woman with brown hair and green eyes in which she was someone that is there at the behest of Emperor Roderick. Shion knew of her personally as she was someone who was also related to the Mahoney Clan on Valinor as well. It was a short victory as the assistance was greatly needed, for the battle to stop Project Amaterasu was already at a standstill already.
"You've grown up, Barbara Nolan," said Shion.
"The Emperor sent us to aid you in which he had a gut feeling that someone other than one of the Eichenberg twins will end up killing the one born with the raw power," she said.
"I knew it…" Shion clenched her fist as she had a gut feeling that a certain blackmailer would cause
havoc on the Sol-3. "Sawney Masbath in on there and he has a personal vendetta against Sam! The bastard's dangerous and will stop at nothing to get revenge against him."
"I heard about him in the popular Chronicles of the Order series in which Sawney Masbath tried to blackmail him and even kidnapped him for ransom before going to Belbe Citadel on Gehenna."
"Even though he escaped, the blackmailer will stop at nothing to get vengeance against Sam for the humiliation he suffered from."
Shion was fearing the worst as she wanted me to be safe while sabotaging the Sol-3 and shutting down Project Amaterasu. As for what would happen next, she was afraid of the consequences as she also had a loathing for Sawney Masbath, for he wasn't about to give up his personal vendetta against me anytime soon…
Sawney was looking all over the surveillance screens as he was getting impatient the moment he spotted Nibori and Rowena in a room looking for him. Anger flooded him as he wasn't about to lose to a witch who had nothing but contempt for him. He remembered Rowena very well as he had a knack for stealing her things in which he even used them to control Sylvanus at the time, but he also hated her for having him caught in the act of stealing things. He was eager to trap her as he knew of her to be a ruler of Hell once before being resurrected by Pendragon in the Elder Days. He also viewed her as a threat as he saw her on one of the surveillance screens looking at every nook and cranny all over the Sol-3.
"Come at me, you ginger bitch," he said to himself as he had a grudge against Rowena.
It wasn't long until he saw me and Dean in the further vents as we were making our way out of there in which he was waiting for a moment to strike like a serpent waiting for its prey. He had a grudge against me for putting him in prison as he was starting to change into his grotesque form. He was waiting for me to come into the torture chamber until he noticed me and Dean rushing towards the shuttle bay. Anger flooded him as he wasn't too thrilled to see me leaving the Sol-3. All he wanted was to see me killed as he found a vent and slinked upward to it. He was ready to find and eliminate me as he would stop at nothing to get rid of me in this ongoing war.
"Just you wait, Sam Winchester," he said to himself as he was lurking all over the place in the vent.
Castiel got off of Barca as he was at the front entrance of the Order's main headquarters on Westeros. He was looking for other invaders who were hell-bent on destroying the infrastructure as he spotted an escape pod that was floating in a lake. What he didn't expect was that Lorne escaped from the Sol-3 as he drew out his sword the moment he heard Barca growling loudly. He noticed Lorne all wet from swimming to shore as he saw the smoke in the distance in which he was happy to see the Order's main headquarters fall until a ship showed up to save the day. He wasn't too thrilled to see a Tirithian ship arriving as he was wanting to dismantle it so badly, for he relied on the soulless dolls that were there to cause damage. Turning around, he saw Castiel standing next to Barca as he pulled out his gun and was ready to kill them, for he was getting fed up with those who served alongside me.
"I know who you are," he said as he was seething with anger.
"I also know who you are, Lorne Eichenberg," answered Castiel. "Your failure to destroy the Order has come to pass, but you and your friends in the Executive Division will not harm Sam or his family."
"Oh, I set a trap for him in which a certain someone wants to gut him for having him thrown in prison once."
"It's about Sawney Masbath, isn't it?"
"Sam Winchester has already eliminated Tobias Wetzel on the Sol-1 and Julilla Paxton on the Sol-2. I did a bait and switch in which he killed the lowerling who impersonated me while I fled back here to Westeros. I thought of trapping Sawney Masbath with his sworn enemy… Oh, what a glorious day it is because there will be no more existence of Sam Winchester or his status as a god of this system of planets. All I need is to break out the popcorn and enjoy the show."
"You set them up, didn't you? I was on a mission at the behest of my superiors in which I found that you orchestrated the abduction of Dean Winchester due to the evidence of the Impala being left at its parking spot near Raithwall. All fishermen take precise time to utilize their bait to catch the fish, but your depravity to lure Sam into a showdown with Sawney Masbath is beyond despicable."
"As soon as Sawney gets his revenge, the better it serves the purpose of this ongoing war. I don't care if that whelp with the raw power is the ultimate prize or not! His death will slowly liberate everyone who worshiped other gods in which history will be controlled by the hands of Man! Liesel may have had aspirations to use Sam Winchester as a tool to destroy our enemies, but the yoke of all gods have choked us to the bone! I want his demise to be swift and painful, for there will be no more gods to worship nor to bow down to!"
Without further hesitation, Castiel used his sword to cut at Lorne's hand as the gun dropped onto the ground. He displayed a quiet anger as he began to stand his ground and attack Lorne directly. The right arm infused with raw power glowed brightly as his aura became more brighter than normal. Lorne's words were more than enough to instill fear in the latter as he felt his eyes burning to the point of blindness while being forced to kneel. Castiel wasted no time standing firm as he was adamant into putting Lorne in his place, for he wasn't about to let anyone else harm me nor abuse me to become one's weapon.
"How dare you?!" he said as he stood firm. "How dare you go against a future god of the Ashizoka System that is destined to bring all of us to a golden age?! And yet you use Dean as bait to lure Sam to the Sol-3, force a lowerling to impersonate you, and even luring Sawney Masbath to finish the job you once started! Over the years, I have seen his past self screw up many times and I also happened to do the same thing! Over the centuries, I have waited for this prophecy to surface, but unfortunately, there are those who will stop at nothing to either kill the new god born with raw power or abuse what he has! Sam's life matters more than anything because nothing is worth losing him!" Castiel's hair changes further as it is completely silver. "I will not allow you to use him as a sacrificial lamb to cement your sick ambitions, for the golden age will begin soon enough!"
Lorne's face completely melted as he was no more the moment Castiel returned to normal. Even though he stood his ground, he stared at the Lorne's lifeless corpse as it was kneeling on the ground near the lake. With the battle to stop the horde from attacking the Order's main headquarters on Westeros over for the time being, Castiel was exhausted as he got onto Barca's back and rode to the infrastructure that was in front of him. When he nearly got there, he saw the Impala approaching as it stopped the moment Kevin got out of it. He never expected to see Lorne's demise as he ran towards his corpse in which there was nothing left of his face after Castiel put the fear of the gods into him with deadly results.
"Lorne Eichenberg is dead," he said as he put away his sword.
"After seeing the Impala unattended with Dean getting kidnapped, Sam's gonna have it rough," said Kevin. "Normally, Dean would come unglued if something happened to the Impala, but I got it here so it wouldn't cause a commotion with some of the people living in Raithwall. As for Sam's predicament, he's in for a real shock when he comes toe-to-toe with Sawney Masbath."
"The kneeling corpse in front of us was the one who set Sam up by bringing him into the snake pit of his worst enemy imaginable."
"From what I gathered, I got a garbled message stating that the bastard's on the Sol-3 in which a certain witch is ready to hunt him down. No wonder the Vesper Guild has him on their shit list…"
"Hey! You better get your asses to the main headquarters!" yelled a familiar voice as it was blaring from the Impala's radio. "I may have a bun in the oven, but Shion's called for an emergency meeting! It's now or never, so I suggest that you stop playing with your dicks and get your asses there on the double!"
It was Dvora as she was calling through the infrastructure of the Impala in which she wasn't about to let Castiel or Kevin off the hook. To their shock, they saw a television screen emerge from the shallow end of the lake as it turned on the moment they noticed an image of Dvora all ready and fuming just to let them have it.
"Long time, no see," said Kevin.
"Just because I have a bun in the oven, doesn't mean that I'm a pushover!" answered Dvora on screen. "I saw the attack on the Order's main headquarters on Westeros and I'm not too happy with the asshats who decided to put their Ken and Barbie dolls and defunct Cybermen at its doorstep!"
"You cannot be in combat anyway because you're with child," said Castiel.
"The imprint of raw power that I have can do a lot more than just have me stand my ground, for I can summon television screens to talk to you while I'm nesting."
"We've got some bad news," said Kevin. "Sawney Masbath broke out of prison and is on the Sol-3."
"That asshat! He'll kick Sam's ass!"
"Sawney Masbath won't win, Dvora," said a familiar face as she appeared out of nowhere.
It was Reiko as she was worried for my safety in which she was also adamant into seeing me dismantle Project Amaterasu on the sly. When she saw Dvora on screen, she saw her to be in fine fettle as she also noticed her to be carrying Anaira's child. Still, the benched bodyguard had her reasons to contact everyone as she was also concerned for my safety, for the battle against the Executive Division wasn't over yet.
"It's been a while since you left for Westeros and the other adjoining parts of the castle," she said on screen. "With Nathan and Rie calling the shots just to help out, we've been getting people here to protect their homes from the Executive Division."
"I have to do my part as well," said Reiko. "All I need to do is to wait for Sammy to return home."
"Well, you can wait for him at the Order's main headquarters on Westeros 'cause Shion's issuing out an emergency powwow right now."
The television screen turned off as everyone was on their way to where they needed to get to. As for what was about to happen next, all that everyone had to do was to wait it out as the time to destroy and dismantle Project Amaterasu was already there, for it would soon be obliterated like Project Apollo and Project Ra…
Nibori and Rowena were in a different room as they noticed that it was all cluttered due to how messy it was. They saw it to be Lorne's room as they also noticed several pictures of fallen members of the Executive Division with red x's on them. The pictures of Perceval Arbogast, Tobias Wetzel, and Julilla Paxton were more than enough to set Rowena on edge as she noticed several other pictures from the Executive Division with red x's on them. What she also didn't expect was that there was a pocket-rom disc on a desk as she noticed Nibori picking it up and inserting it into a projector in which it showed Lorne venting his anger while bearing a grudge against me, for his anger is absolute in the end.
"Take a good look at all those idiots all over the Ashizoka System," he said on screen. "They worship pop idols, actors, and even drag queens, but the worship of the gods who have dictated our actions have only caused misery with a side order of having us being used as pawns in a chess game. Man should take the reins of history, not the gods! They use us to no end and the new god of the Ashizoka System is no different than the ones who curse us. And another thing, I just set up Sawney Masbath to do away with his sworn enemy in which once he does this, then there will be no Destiny of Worlds nor a golden age. All I want is to see history returned and recorded in the hands and Man, not gods or monsters or angels or demons. A godless galaxy is a peaceful one, despite the fact that my friends and sister in the Executive Division want Sam Winchester alive as the ultimate prize in this ongoing war."
"That son-of-a-bitch!" yelled Nibori as she took out the pocket-rom disc and put it into her pocket.
"That young man's making a mistake," said Rowena.
"He sent one of the worst blackmailers here on the Sol-3 and is hell-bent on going after Sam!"
"Sawney Masbath is here, but he'll get it coming from one of the witches that he kept stealing from."
"Well, we better act fast 'cause there's something wrong with the venting." Nibori spots a red residue from one of the vents as it was starting to stain the whole room. "Damn it! This is no ordinary mold!"
"This is Sawney's doing!" Rowena sees some creeping roots from the vent as she was ready to use her power against them. "He's already turned into the worst monster that is slowly tempted by the effects of the Sol Project. Therefore, it's time to put him to bed!"
Rowena used her powers to burn at the red residue as it was slowly being killed from the vents. When she rushed to the door of the room, she saw withered red vines blocking the entrance as she noticed Nibori shooting her plasma rifle at them the moment they fled out into the hall. What they didn't expect was that several more vines and withered roots were growing on the walls as they feared the worst, for this was Sawney's doing all along…
Dean and I made it out of the vents as we were in the main hall the moment we were looking for Nibori and Rowena in order to get out of here towards the shuttle. What we didn't expect was that we saw a red residue growing on the walls as I sensed that Sawney Masbath was waiting for me, but he was most likely to become a monster that was tempted by the effects of the Sol Project just like General Wetzel and Julilla. To my shock, I saw something slink out of the vent as it was an unsavory tentacle the moment the rest of what it that was attached to came out of there. What I didn't expect was that the monster reverted back to my sworn enemy the moment he was ready to wreak his vengeance towards me, for he was wanting me gone for good this time.
"Sam Winchester," he said to me. "I knew that you and I would meet once again."
"You've become a monster to your own making, Sawney," said Dean as he appeared into his diamond form. "You just had the old bait and switch on your ass and the latter who gypped you just hightailed it back to Westeros."
"Dean Winchester… Always the meddling type…"
"Don't you dare attack my brother!" I cried out as I unsheathed my sword.
"You don't know how much I hate you, Sam! You don't know how much I despise you! All those years ago, I ordered Sylvanus to leave you there in the frozen wasteland on Gehenna, but when Phyllis Schacter intervened and forced him to take care of you, I had to remind him of his forbidden affair with Senna, his own sister over and over again. He even pleaded not to expose it in which he had no choice but to be cruel to you and when he resisted, I enacted a control rune and placed it inside of him just to enact cruelty towards you! Of all the people that have been broken and put back together, you were meant to be shattered right from the beginning! I had to control him until I found him on Harkonnen resisting the magic that I stole from Rowena and others in the Vesper Guild. And for the record, his inbred children, Severin and Sylvana, may have aided and abetted in his death, but I was the one who truly killed him by using a spell in the control rune to cause his entire body to be broken to the point of disrepair! Someone had to keep him quiet! Someone had to get rid of him before he broke free from my control!"
"And yet you forced him to enact the cruelty on me just because I was considered to be a threat to you! And yet you have been a threat to not only me, but to your victims that you blackmailed, kidnapped, maimed, and even killed. Your cruelty ends here, for it has poisoned you to the extreme!"
I saw Sawney contort his head as it became one huge maw that was ready to decapitate someone. Dean was concerned as he had to get me out of the way the moment he saw the maw coming towards me. Just as the maw was about to eat at his head, a plasma shot rang out as Nibori came to the rescue with Rowena in tow. Using her own magic to subdue Sawney, Rowena wasn't about to let him get away as she had a proverbial bone to pick with him.
"Ye never learn, do you Sawney Masbath," she said as she zapped him with some magic bolts.
"Rowena MacLeod," he said. "It seems that you never forgot about how much I stole from you and those who were in the Vesper Guild."
"Put yer tongue in yer teeth! Yer poisoned body is contaminating this station in which we can't allow you to cause harm to us ever again!"
"After what was done to me, I demand vengeance and I will have it!"
"And what about the effects of the Sol Project damaging you?" said Nibori. "They're twisting you in many ways than one in which your own wrath is poisoning your sorry ass!"
"Attention!" said a voice over the intercom. "The self-destruct system has been activated due to a viral contaminant breach. All personnel must evacuate immediately. You have thirty minutes to evacuate the station!"
The alarm blaring all over the place was more than enough to escort everyone out of the Sol-3 as I had to get everyone out of here. With Dean leading the way, he used his diamond projectiles to slash at Sawney's twisting body the moment he saw it slumped to the floor for now. Even though it was enough to slow him down, I had a gut feeling that he would follow us as we fled towards the shuttle bay the moment we noticed the red residue creeping all over the walls and corridors. With the shuttle intact, I shepherded Dean and the others to safety as I had no other choice but to stop my sworn enemy before it was too late.
"Get everyone out of here," I said.
"What about you?" asked Dean.
"I can handle Sawney Masbath, for he is already gone to the point of no return."
"But this is suicide!" yelled Nibori as she was concerned for me.
"I know, but I can't let Sawney get away with what he's done."
"Ye're taking a huge risk, Samuel," said Rowena as she gave me a hex bag. "Whatever ye do, don't die on us."
"Fair enough…" I see Sawney standing in front of the hangar doors as he was infecting the entire satellite. "Get to the shuttle…, NOW!"
"Okay…, bitch," said Dean as he came into the shuttle first.
"Stay safe…, jerk…"
I watched Nibori and Rowena enter into the shuttle as it powered up and was ready to go the moment that the airlock was opened. I was grateful that I saw them leave safely as I had to face Sawney in this twisted fight with the self-destruct system down to twenty-five minutes. I was standing my ground as I had to go toe-to-toe against my sworn enemy who caused me so much pain over the years, for I had to put an end to his machinations soon enough.
"Well, well," he said to me as I saw him shift his head into the maw I saw. "It seems that a little one-on-one action is required."
"It's time to end it, Sawney," I said as I had my sword in my hand.
"Oh, Sam, I've been waiting for a long time for this moment!"
It wasn't long until I saw Sawney running towards me as his head contorted and twisted all over the place. I sensed him to be very dangerous as I had to be careful in which I saw his arm turn into a tentacle. His body changed even further as he became much bigger than what was perceived to be. Getting out of the way, I saw the tentacle wrap around one of the control bars as it broke it in half. I had to devise a plan to stop Sawney as I was seeing the clock ticking down to twenty minutes the moment I saw the tentacle wrap around my foot and lifted me up. I was struggling to get free as I saw the maw in front of me getting bigger in which Sawney was slowly losing his humanity due to the lingering grudge against me.
"You may have ended up smelling like a rose every time you evade death, but you won't survive this time!" he said to me as I was at his mercy while dangling upside down. "That raw power you have has become a nuisance in which it causes more problems than it solves! Therefore, your raw power can't protect you forever, Sam!"
I was seeing the clock slowly ticking as I was feeling the pinch of doubt that lurked all over me. Those harsh words that Sawney told me reminded me of what General Wetzel said to me as I was not about to give up yet. I had to break free as I lifted myself up and slice the tentacle with my sword the moment I fell on my side. The pain in my body hit me like a huge boulder as I got up on my feet the moment I saw Sawney writhing in pain. His entire body was covering the entire shuttle bay as he wasn't about to let me leave. The red residue was too much as I had to use my raw power to disperse the infection that was on the walls. I wasn't afraid of my sworn enemy as I changed into my ultimate form the moment I saw Sawney's maw coming towards me again.
"You think you can stop me, but think again, Sam!" I heard him yell as I refused to budge.
"You lost your humanity a lot longer than you think," I said. "Your sins have caught up to you in which you've become a poison of your own making!"
"Damn you!"
"It's time to put an end to this mess!"
I saw an opening within Sawney as I saw a protruding heart shaped like a tumor from his chest. I had to act fast as I used my raw power to destroy the target in which it exploded. Even though I destroyed the heart, it wasn't the end of it as Sawney was slowly regenerating in such a quick pace. With the hex bag that Rowena gave to me, I threw it at my sworn enemy as it also doubled as a bomb the moment he finally met his untimely demise when I saw his body exploding. When I saw Sawney finally dead on the floor in one huge mess, I saw the clock ticking down to ten minutes as I had to move the Sol-3 away from Westerian airspace. My raw power was more than enough to teleport it to the space junkyard as I fled to a nearby asteroid the moment saw the satellite exploding in which I was happy that I stopped it once and for all. Like Project Apollo and Project Ra, Project Amaterasu was no more as I saw it into bits and pieces with the red residue still clinging to the space debris where Sawney infected it. I was elated as I felt myself changing into a much greater entity in which I teleported back near Westerian airspace. With my raw power starting to return to my super-charged form, I had to teleport to somewhere as I had to go, for I needed to be somewhere soon enough…
Dean saw the Sol-3 slowly being overrun with the red residue as he was worried for my safety. He was fearing the worst as he turned the shuttle around and noticed the satellite being teleported to parts unknown. Nibori and Rowena noticed an explosion in the distance as they had a gut feeling that the Sol-3 exploded from far away. With the threat averted, they noticed an unusual entity that teleported back in Westerian airspace as it was different than what was all over the Sol-3.
"What is that?" asked Rowena as she saw a mass of humanoid power that manifested on an asteroid.
"No way…," said Nibori as she saw the entity standing. "That's… Sam!"
Dean switched the shuttle to auto-pilot as he saw the entity that was none other than me in which I became more of a god with the raw power that I had. He was grateful that I stopped the Sol-3 and ended Project Amaterasu as he was happy that the threat was over for now. By the time he returned to the shuttle pilot seat, he turned around again as he saw me unconscious and naked with only the sword in my hands. Nibori and Rowena noticed me to be tired from using my raw power as they never expected me to be in the buff after dragging the Sol-3 to the space junkyard, for the threat was over for the time being.
"He's alive," said Nibori as she felt the pulse in my neck.
"Thank the Maker that he did what no other witch could do," said Rowena as she was elated that the threat was gone. "Sawney Masbath is dead and no longer will he be stealing my trinkets again nor the magic from the Vesper Guild."
"I always viewed Sawney as a blackmailer, but he was on everyone's shit list since he kept blackmailing everyone with dirty secrets," said Dean.
"At least he's not gonna darken another doorway nor blackmail another vulnerable target again. For far too long, we witches had a hatred for Sawney Masbath in which he killed his half-sister and threaten to disfigure her rival, Cynthia MacVicker. I saw the whole thing when Odette took the full brunt when she got doused with oil of vitriol, but her seething anger towards the bastard is absolute in which she wanted to bust his balls for stealing from those who were trying to maintain a legacy in the Vesper Guild."
"Well, the 'gentleman blackmailer' won't be bothering anyone anymore 'cause he was just too much on that old clunker up in space."
It wasn't long until an Order of Letters ship arrived from warp as it was a designated Medical Corps cruiser. When the shuttle entered into it, Dean was happy that those in the Medical Corps were on hand into seeing everyone here safe and unharmed. Getting out of the shuttle, he and the others were seeing the members of the Medical Corps going into it as they noticed me safe and out of harm's way. Leading the charge was Dunya as she saw me naked and unconscious after putting an end to Project Amaterasu not too long ago. With some of the members getting some blankets to cover me up, I was placed onto a stretcher as I was being wheeled away. Dunya never expected me to be very powerful to the point of exhaustion before as she was happy that I was still alive the moment I was being taken to the sickbay, for I was about to be in further observation soon enough…
Shion was surveying the damage left behind by Lorne's horde as she saw the cleanup effort piling up the dead bodies and broken machinery into one huge pit. With the fires lit, complete with the salt and gasoline poured all over them, the bonfire in the pit became a huge melting pot as she was also grateful that the Order's main headquarters on Westeros was saved from destruction. It wasn't long until she noticed Dowager Empress Ithilia arriving as she saw the pile of soulless dolls and broken Ketch machines burning brightly in the large pit. Even though Empress Zaralia was still in charge, Ithilia refused to let her observe such funeral pyres as she didn't want to expose her to such gruesome toil, for she was no stranger into dealing with war all over.
"You had your hands full, I take it," she said.
"Lorne Eichenberg sent that horde to attack us," said Shion.
"I heard the news about your orchestrator meeting his demise."
"What are you talking about?"
"Lorne Eichenberg is dead. He died at the hands of the one who faced him with such an angelic aura that killed him while he knelt."
It wasn't long until Shion spotted Castiel riding on Barca as she saw his hair become a bright silver after dealing with one of the Eichenberg twins. With the Impala catching up with Kevin in the driver's seat and Reiko on the passenger's side, they stopped as they got out and off the mound to meet up with Shion and Ithilia, for they were ready to begin this emergency meeting.
"It seems that you plucked Barca after his mating season ended," said Ithilia as she spotted him sitting down on his haunches. "It's a godsend that Cynthia kept him occupied in which she once told Sam not to mess with him one time while he went and searched for a mate."
"Barca is a good boy, but he is very protective," said Castiel.
"I take it that you killed Lorne, didn't you?" said Shion.
"He orchestrated the horde attack in which he even baited Sawney Masbath to challenge Sam up there on the Sol-3."
"Sammy…" said Reiko as she was worried about me.
It wasn't long until the Medical Corps ship landed in a clearing as it opened up to see Dunya leading in which she had me in a stretcher and was ready to get me towards the Order's main headquarters here on Westeros. With Dean and the others following them, the worst was finally as Project Amaterasu was no more, for Project Helios on the Sol-4 was next on the docket…
I found myself in a room that looked like the Men of Letters bunker from the Elder Days as I was in a bed that looked bulky. Getting out of bed, I was up until I saw a chain emerging from the ceiling as it tangled around my neck to the point of strangling me. Using my raw power to break free, I rushed out of the room as I saw Demon Dean coming towards me with a hammer in his hand. He was ready to do his worst as he was ready to chase me the moment I fled into another room. I was fleeing for my life as I was panting harshly with my heart pounding furiously beneath my pained ribs. Turning around, I saw Demon Dean attempt to hit me with the hammer as he missed and hit the tile before I ran away again.
"Oh, Sammy," he yelled as he was getting angry with his eyes flashing black. "I just wanna have a beer with you!"
I was hiding in a closet that was warded as I was scared to death to move. The sight of Demon Dean unnerved me as I didn't want to leave the closet anytime soon. I was shaking as I felt the fear engulfing my very being in which I refused to leave my sanctuary, for I didn't want to go anywhere while my foe was still looking for me.
"Sammy, come out and play!" I heard Demon Dean yell. "C'mon, don't you wanna spend time with your big brother?! It's time to finish this crappy game of cat and mouse once and for all!"
It wasn't long until I saw the closet door open as I noticed Demon Dean coming towards me with the hammer in his hand. I was scared out of my mind until I finally woke up in a hospital room while laying in a bed. Sitting up, I noticed the surroundings to be calming as I slowly got out of bed and went towards the window and saw the cleanup effort restoring the infrastructure of the Order's main headquarters on Westeros. I didn't know how long I was out, but I was glad that the threat was over as I heard the door open in which I spotted Dean coming into my room. He was worried about me as he saw me out of bed in which I slowly got back into it. Thankfully, he wasn't his demonic incarnation as I saw him with a box of donuts in his hands, for he wanted me to get up anyway, but I was too exhausted to move.
"It's about time that you woke up," I heard him say to me.
"This is the Order's main headquarters on Westeros because I know this infirmary wing," I said.
"You stopped one of the worst asshats who ever crawled all over the galaxy. You blew up the Sol-3 and put the clampdown on Project Amaterasu. You should be happy that you made Sawney scream like a little girl when you kicked his ass."
"How long was I out?"
"You were out for six days, Sam. When Dunya put your ass in here, she kept you under surveillance in which she saw you weeping in your sleep."
It wasn't long until I saw Dunya entering into my room as she was concerned for my safety after all that has happened. Still, she refused to allow me to get out of my surroundings as she noticed me curled up in my bed. I was out of harm's way for now as I was also about to face the impending glare of Dunya, who refused to budge after all that has happened.
"You're awake," she told me.
"I know, but with Project Helios left, I have to be up to par if I'm going to face it on the Sol-4 and shut it down eventually."
"Sorry, but it's not happening right now."
"But why?"
"The higher-ups in the Order have decided that you need to take a leave of absence starting today."
"No! I can't do that! I won't abandon my mission right now!"
"Shion told me that you need to have a complete recovery before returning to your work on the field, Sam. Going out there while exhausted and ailing is akin to suicide and I won't let you do it, not on my watch!"
"But you need me on this!" I feel my voice breaking as I was instantaneously backed into a corner while laying in my bed. "My raw power is something that is needed to put an end to this ongoing war in front of us! I can't and won't abandon you right now!"
"You better listen to the doctor in charge, Sam," said Dean sternly. "You nearly died after putting the kibosh on Sawney Masbath while dismantling Project Amaterasu and you're out to do field work while exhausted?! You're not doing any field work after this, you got that? You need to heal, Sam. You need to recover after what you went through when you destroyed the Sol-3 and saved our asses from being trapped in a horror movie! Therefore, you can't let yourself go half-cocked in this fight 'cause I'll be the one doing the ass-kicking for you while you're away."
I sat up as I was weeping while wiping the tears away from my eyes. The words coming from Dean and Dunya made me feel unwanted as I didn't want to abandon everyone in this fight against the Executive Division. I had so much at stake as I refused to shirk my duties for a little "me time" right now, for I couldn't let anyone down this time. When I heard the door open up, I saw Zaralia entering as she was worried about me after all that has happened, for she was concerned about my health like the rest of everyone.
"Shion told me about how you destroyed the Sol-3," she said.
"I'm glad that everyone is safe for another day," I said as I wiped the tears from my face.
"Are you feeling alright, Sam?"
"I'm fine, Your Majesty."
"You don't look fine, but you're not wriggling out of your much needed recovery," said Dean.
"If it's a brain-draining vacation, I won't budge from it!"
"But Shion said that your use of the raw power that you have nearly killed you and as Empress, I order you to recover and I know a great place that is secluded and calm just for you to rest up," said Zaralia. "You do so much for us, Sam, but you can't place the heavy burden on your shoulders forever."
"Where am I suppose to go for my recovery?"
"It's on Matarote Island here on Westeros. It's safe and it's a calm place in which it's warm all over, but surrounded by a fog to keep suspicious intruders out. Even Reiko wants you to recover in which you need to do so just to get your strength back."
"I'll do it, Your Majesty… As soon as I'm able, I'll return to the field and that's something that I won't let go of…"
I was roped into taking a long vacation to aid in my recovery as I had no other choice but to do so. With Project Helios left, I had to recover first before doing so as I had to do my part into taking care of myself first, for it was also mandatory for me to do so in this ongoing war…
The End… or is it?
