A week after Aurora sent her message off, she was checking the IM every other day, and still no response. At lunch one day, an Eagle Owl came winging in carrying a large package. The bird landed in front of Aurora, who blinked in surprise as she never got mail. She took the package and noticed the wax seal of a centaur.
Aurora's grin faded as she knew something was going to happen. She stood up and left with her package and entered the Common room. She tore open the package and inside was basically a whole care package from the Camp.
Sword cleaning equipment from the Ares Cabin, and various other sorts of things that her friends thought she would need, she laughed slightly as she found plant seeds from the Children of Demeter. She found a book that she could tell was straight from the Library in Chiron's office and the title was Ways to use Divine Blood Adoption.
Aurora began to read the boo, all the facts and figures and a potion were all that was needed to adopt a mortal into a divine's family.
So that's what those plants' seeds were for, they were the ingredients for the potion. expect that the last ingredient was blood from the person that was assuming the responsibility of the new divine.
Aurora closed her eyes and offered up a prayer to anyone who would advise her on this, she was meant to protect Harry, was this the only option to keep him out of the Dursleys House and offer him up to a life doomed to end young if he wasn't careful. She went and exchanged her supplies for Herbology class, maybe she could get away with planting these in the classroom.
That night at dinner, after she had questioned the herbology professor about using some extra supplies to grow plants from America, she was given permission to plant her newly acquired seeds. So she had a section of the Green House of her own.
Aurora filled her plate, took it to the nearest fireplace, she offered up her prayers to her Mother and anyone else who wanted to savor the offering of food. She scraped half her plate into the fire.
"What were you doing?" Percy asks once Aurora was back at the table.
"Offering up half of my plate to my Deities of choice? I believe in the Ancient Ones that ruled over Ancient Greece." Aurora answers "Where I grew up, the camp director taught us to offer up a portion of our food to the Gods. so they can savor it."
After dinner, Aurora sat with Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they worked on their homework, the professors except for Snape decided to allow oral presentions for Aurora seeing as she had difficulty in writing and reading.
Aurora looked around to make sure she wouldn't be overheard. "Harry, I think I know a way for you to escape that dreadful house and travel with me."
"How?" Harry questions
"What do you say about being adopted into my Family?" Aurora questions
Harry's eyes widen
"I've been studying this and I believe I can Blood Adopted you and give you demi-god status as one of my siblings." Aurora explains
