Chapter 19

Lovey Dovey

"Hoooohhh…haaah…ohhhhh…" Eta has a lovestruck expression, something that she rarely ever uses. Usually, she is very sleepy and quiet, but something like this? Well, the only known reason for that kind of expression is because she has fallen in love with both Alpha and Gamma. Sure, she isn't really a homewrecker to Beta due to the fact that she sleeps all the time. So she barely spends any time with them. But even so, Eta still can love.

Today, it's definitely been proven. Outside of her lab, Eta has come across the two most beautiful elves in the world, who are chatting amongst themselves. Seeing their absolute beauty makes Eta swoon. She clasps her hands together, sways back and forth and hearts appear and pop all over her head. This is a wonderful sight to see. She cannot approach them since they are speaking to each other, so all Eta can do is stand there and watch.

"They…are so…beautiful…." Eta says to herself.

She feels weak on the knees from being so lovestruck. But if she falls down, she might be heard and Alpha and Gamma would discover her presence. So she stays hiding in a corner, watching the two elves chat. Then, they bow to each other and take their leave. This cues Eta to run off toward her lab and shut the door, hoping they didn't see the violet haired mad scientist. She puts her hands on her chest, breathes in and out slowly. She can feel her heart beating rapidly. Falling in love is so rare for her, but she absolutely loves this feeling. Eta wants to earn their love, whatever it takes. However, there's one small problem: her obsession with experiments. Lately, she has been developing suspicious new inventions and they all came out horribly or…maybe even wonderfully due to some of them being love potions most of the time. But Eta doesn't want to do that this time. She wants to love at her own free will and see if she can truly earn their love that way.

She pumps two fists. "I….can do this. This will…be my greatest challenge…" Eta says to herself.

She hops on the chair and grabs some books to learn anything and everything about true love. Most of the books were just manga, though. She is that desperate. She looks at many ways to earn someone's love: giving flowers with chocolates, outright confessing their love, taking that significant other to a place meaningful to them, and so on. Chocolates are the last thing she wants to give either of the elves. She cannot blame them after that last incident, so she won't go that route. Flowers might be suitable. Outright confessing her love? Maybe she will do that while giving them flowers. As for taking them on dates, she hasn't gotten the slightest idea on where to go. If she were to go out now, she might be falling asleep during their trip. She doesn't want that.

The only thing left to do is just be herself. Confess her love while presenting flowers. There might be a flower shop in the village that is open. She will try to give them some simple flowers and confess her love at the same time. She heads out immediately to get some roses for both Alpha and Gamma.

She arrives at the flower shop and gets two bags of neatly arranged roses. She pays for the items and quickly heads back to the castle inside her lab. She sets down the roses on the table and gives a quick examination. She eyes them high and low to make sure they are the perfect gift for her two idols. She gives a nod of satisfaction and takes the roses. She heads out of the lab, ready to confess her love.

**Later**

Gamma and Alpha are called to the common room of Shadow Garden, having received a message from Eta that there is something really important she has to tell them. Gamma and Alpha look around to see if Eta has even arrived yet. Just then, the door opens and Eta appears, hand against the door and a rose stem is in her mouth.

"Eta?" Alpha and Gamma say in unison.

"Sup…?" Eta gives a nod as a greeting and pushes herself away from the door and closes it behind her. She twirls around, still having the rose in her mouth until she removes it and tosses it to Alpha, who catches it immediately. "You are the love of my life…Alpha-sama…" She stops twirling and hops like a ballerina toward Gamma. She holds out the set of roses to her while she takes a knee. "Gamma…you are the most important person to me…including Alpha-sama. Take these…as a token of my love…"

The dark bluenette elf takes the roses and Alpha receives the same set shortly after. Eta gets to her feet.

"So…" The mad scientist trails off.

Alpha and Gamma exchange looks and then both of them giggle.

"You were willing to go that far just to do that~?" Gamma laughs.

"Eta…you are desperate~" Alpha says.

Eta pouts. "I just…wanted to…earn your love. I went with…the simplest route…and yet it's not good enough…?"

"No, silly~" Gamma puts the roses aside, approaches Eta and cups both hands to her cheeks. "We love our gifts, trust me. But Eta, if you're willing to go as far as to confess your love to us, you don't have to do that. Both of us love you already."

"That's right," Alpha agrees as she gets behind the purplenette. "Even though you do some naughty things, you are still part of Shadow Garden. If it wasn't that, we wouldn't love you like we do today."

"Really…?" Eta asks with a slight blush on her face.

"Really, really~" Gamma says, tipping the mad scientist's chin to her level. "We love you, Eta. Never forget that~"

Alpha hugs Eta from behind, having the mad scientist be sandwiched in between the beautiful eives. "We will show our love for you to prove it~"

"Eh…?" Eta opens her mouth, making it a perfect opportunity for Gamma to lean in and kiss her on the lips.

Eta's eyes widen just a bit, but she relaxes, closes her eyes and wraps her arms around Gamma's neck, enjoying this lovely kiss. Gamma wraps her arms around the scientist's waist, pulling her closer as they keep on kissing. Alpha presses herself against Eta, her breasts pressing against her back. She kisses her neck and then her shoulder and then blows on Eta's pointed ear, making her quiver a little bit. But she still goes on kissing Gamma on the lips.

It is then that the two of them pull away to catch their breath. Alpha takes this chance to gently cup Eta's cheek to make her face her beloved leader and then lean in to kiss her on the lips. Eta closes her eyes again, relishing at the wonderful feeling of Alpha's soft lips. Gamma sighs with bliss as she hugs Eta, her breasts pressing against Eta's own. Once Eta and Alpha pull away, the three of them remain in each other's arms, Eta being sandwiched between Gamma and Alpha.

"This is…the most wonderful thing…that's ever happened to me…" Eta smiles a small smile.

"That's exactly how a person should feel," Gamma says. "You have truly fallen in love with us. And we love you in return~"

"Indeed," Alpha agrees, hugging Eta and leaning in close.

"Alpha-sama…Gamma…" Eta says. "I…love you both…"

The three of them stay like this for a bit longer with Gamma and Alpha resting their heads on Eta's.

A/N: The twelfth episode of Kagejitsu with Alpha, Gamma and Eta's return has inspired me. I just love the fact that they got back together after appearing in Episode 3. They're beautiful together.
