9 Revelations
"What is it, Albus?" Sirius asked.
"I should have told him earlier," Dumbledore said. "There's a prophecy concerning him. I fear he may eventually leave two young widows."
Alain stepped forward. "As this may concern my daughter's life, I must insist on knowing what you're talking about." He had his wand in his hand, its tip sparkling ominously.
Dumbledore looked pensive for a moment. "Well, it seems I have no choice but to let you know." He sighed once again and moved his hand invitingly for the others to sit comfortably as well.
"You see, there was a prophecy made before he was born. It goes this way: 'The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies.'
"It wasn't clear who this prophecy could mean, as there were two children expected to be born at about the same time. Both couples went into hiding. Then, at Halloween, when the children were slightly older than one year, the Dark Lord found the hiding place of one couple. He tried to kill the baby, after killing his parents, but only managed to give him a peculiar scar. The Dark Lord vanished that night, but not completely. He has already tried to return several times, stopped by Harry each time, but every time he was harder to stop. When he eventually succeeds, I fear that Harry would need to face him once again and may need to pay with his life for stopping the dark from prevailing."
Alain gave it a thought. "He may have already fulfilled the prophecy, the way I see it."
"What do you mean?"
Alain smiled. "Do you know what happened during the last task, just a few weeks ago?"
"The champions grabbed the trophy and then seemed to disappear for a moment, yet they reappeared in front of the judge's table and we proceeded from there."
"Where have they been in that short time between grabbing the trophy and appearing in front of the judges?"
Dumbledore shrugged. "In transit?"
Alain shook his head. "They were transported to the graveyard at Little Hangelton, where Peter Pettigrew was waiting to resurrect his Lord, who was residing in a homonucleus body. They only wanted Harry, so they tried to kill the spare. Harry conjured a mirror that reflected the curse to the caster, causing both Peter and his Lord to perish. That fulfils the prophecy, as far as I can tell."
Dumbledore stayed silent for a moment. "Are you sure about that?"
"My Aurors made sure that everything was correctly identified. They even killed the snake that Voldemort used as a pet."
"What about the Horcruxes?" Dumbledore asked.
Sirius gasped at hearing that word, which he had only heard in the Black house. Alain didn't seem to mind. "With all his supporters dead, in prison or too old to do anything, Voldemort has no chance even if he ever succeeds to return. Besides, we may hunt and destroy the Horcruxes, if there are any left."
"I fear that Harry's scar may be one," Dumbledore admitted almost silently.
Sirius became furious, but Alain kept his calm. "The Goblins have ways to deal with that, and I'm not sure we even need to bother. The love he gets from his two wives may be enough to destroy the Horcrux, and even if not, by the time Voldemort tries to come back, we may all be dead for many years. That will kill the Horcrux as well."
Dumbledore allowed himself a faint smile. "I really hope you're right. I would hate it if Harry ever needs to face that monster again." His smile widened. "I think I may really enjoy the wedding celebration now, before I go back to make sure Lord Potter and his wives get the best apartment Hogwarts can offer."

Harry and his wives enjoyed the rest of the summer vacation. Harry could think of no better "good morning" greeting than waking up between his two naked and horny wives, nor a better "goodnight" than sating those two wives and falling asleep hugging them both. He didn't mind that Hermione insisted on going over their summer homework once again, nor some additional reading she wanted them both to do. Fleur also checked their homework, finding no fault in it.
Dumbledore visited again, about a week before the start of term, asking for an official audience with lady Peverell, although he didn't mind the presence of others.
"My dear lady, I'm here to offer you the position of the Defense teacher. As you may already know, we've been quite unlucky in finding appropriate candidates for that position. I've seen your performance during the tournament and talked with your teachers as well, so I'm sure you're capable of doing this job adequately. This may also help you stay with your husband at school, not having to look for occupation elsewhere. Besides, the minister seems very interested in sending one of his lackeys, a woman with no suitable credentials at all, unless I can fill that position before the start of term."
Fleur smiled apprehensively. "Judging by the results of the tournament, Harry could prove to be a better teacher than me."
Dumbledore nodded his agreement. "Sure, Lady Peverell, but Lord Potter is still a student at Hogwarts and should not spend his time teaching, neglecting his other subjects." His eyes glinted with some evident mischief. "Besides, we've never had such a young and beautiful teacher at Hogwarts, not since Rowena Ravenclaw, according to the books."
It took a bit more discussion, but Fleur eventually agreed. She intended to live with her husband and his wife anyhow, so accepting a teaching position was just a way to fill the hours the others were using for studies with something useful.

They boarded the Hogwarts Express a few days later. Fleur stayed with her husband and his other wife for the ride, deciding to keep her new position secret until they reached school, when she would join the head table. As usual, the Weasleys arrived at the last moment, barely able to board the train before it started moving. Ron joined his friends almost ten minutes later, having problems passing through the crowded corridors.
"I hoped you'd visit at the Burrow for a few days," he said accusingly to Harry.
"Sorry, but I had a very busy summer, having first married Hermione magically, and then visiting France and wedding Fleur."
Harry said it as a matter of fact, yet Ron's eyes seemed to grow bigger with every word.
"That's not funny at all. You can't get married so young. I think it's even illegal. Now. What did you really do?"
Fleur decided to intervene. "You should already know that Lord Potter is telling you the truth. The first time Hermione came for a visit they were magically married, although none expected this. Then, during their vacation in France, they decided to add me to the family. We're both Lord Potter's wives now – Lady Potter and Lady Peverell."
Ron was momentarily silenced. Harry was sure it was not yet the end of this subject, as Ron needed some more time to digest it, and would probably need some more explanations before accepting the new situation. Ron just sat on the other bench and watched as the two young women cuddled to Harry, a deep frown creasing his forehead.
Another person joined them after a short while. Neville seemed thrilled to see Harry and his wives. "Lord Potter, I've heard of your change of status and I'm glad to congratulate you for your emancipation and for taking your lordship, and most of all – for having wed these two very impressive ladies of yours. Ladies, on behalf of House Longbottom, I congratulate you for marrying my friend and my ally. I'm sure he's going to try his best to make you happy."
He then blushed crimson, as if he had used all his courage to just congratulate the three. The girls freed Harry, who stood up to shake hands with Neville. He tried to remember all the etiquette he had learned during the summer. "Thank you, Scion Longbottom. I'm really happy to be married to these two. You know how close I've always been with Lady Potter, and you've already seen how beautiful and fierce Lady Peverell is."
Neville smiled at him. He then took the offered hands of the ladies and kissed their knuckles, as if this was an official reception. Fleur accepted it with dignity, yet Hermione couldn't refrain from a short giggle. "I'm still the same person as before, Neville. Getting married doesn't change a person that much, you know."
Neville smiled, blushing some more. He chatted a bit with his friends and then excused himself. "I promised Susan and Hannah to stay with them for the ride. Do you mind if they come later to congratulate you? I wasn't sure if you liked the attention."
Harry smiled. "I'll accept their greetings anytime. It's the other kind of attention that I dislike."
As if to prove his words, Parvati and Lavender arrived a few minutes later. "Is that true?" They took a look at the way both ladies were cuddling into Harry. "It must be true! Oh, Hermione – or should I say Lady Potter now – can you tell us a bit? All we know is that short announcement in the Prophet, saying that Harry has taken his lordship and then wed you as Lady Potter and then Fleur as Lady Peverell."
Neither Hermione nor Fleur wanted to tell, but it was clear that they needed to say something to escape the two gossip queens. Hermione left her comfortable perch at Harry's side, straightening in her place. "We can't disclose much, it being a house secret, you should know. All I can tell you is that when I visited Harry at his relatives', a few days after the start of summer vacation, we expressed our love to each other and that turned into a soul bond. You also know that Harry and Fleur were getting closer since the Yule Ball. As she was also becoming a close friend of mine, and Harry can legally take more than one wife, we accepted her and Harry married her in France, during our vacation there."
"You've got a soul bond?! Wow! But that means..."
"It Means we got soul bound. No more details should be given!" Hermione sounded determined and fierce.
Lavender sighed. "You keep all the juicy details for yourself. That's so unfair... but... I understand you. I don't think I would have liked people to talk about it, had I been in your place."
"She also said it's a House Secret," Parvati reminded her. "You won't be able to tell even had she told you some more." She then turned to Harry. "Congratulations, Harry. I wish you and your wives a long and happy life. And if you find that you need another wife, please consider me. Will you?"
Harry had to laugh at that. Parvati was really nice, and he could probably enjoy being with her for a short while, but he couldn't imagine living with her even for a single day. She probably knew that as well, only asking in order to tease him.
As the news spread, some more came to greet them and to get a glance at the lady rings. Ron, who kept silent for most of this time, finally managed to wrap his mind around the new facts, and he also congratulated them, although with much less enthusiasm than most.
Of course, no such train ride would be complete without Malfoy trying his old tricks. Less than half an hour before the end of the ride, the compartment's door opened and Draco walked in, his two thugs staying behind. "Well, Potter, I didn't think that even you would steep so low as to marry a mudblood and a creature. You could just enjoy them without the burden of marriage, if you're so inclined, you should know."
Harry didn't seem impressed. "I'd say that using others and disregarding the consequences is a trait I'm happy not to have. You should also know that these two fine ladies are now a part of house Potter and are thus protected by its ancient magic. You are warned that insulting them may cause some very unpleasant results, now that you've been warned."
Draco didn't seem to mind. "What can you do to me, a Malfoy? I can say whatever I want. There's nothing you can do to me even if I call your wife a filthy muddddd..." His tongue seemed to have been stuck, as if glued to the ceiling of his mouth, making him unable to talk. Malfoy got panicky. He turned around and ran out and away. Harry smiled at his wives, who smiled back.
"He's going to get his surprise soon enough," Fleur said.
Ron seemed curious. "What surprise?" he asked.
"It wouldn't be a surprise if I tell you. Would it?" Fleur teased him.
Ron's face turned red. He could already stay near her without losing his head, so he thought, but being teased by her was too much. He mumbled something unintelligible and left the compartment. Harry looked pensively after him, wondering if he could still call Ron his best friend.

They didn't hurry out of the train, once it reached Hogsmeade knowing how much attention they would probably get at the great hall and trying to make their stay there shorter. They boarded one of the few remaining carriages after most students left, arriving at the great hall among the last. As expected, too many eyes were turned in their direction, once they stepped through the door. Harry and Hermione took their seats with Ron, who had clearly saved places for them. Fleur just smiled at them and continued walking to the head table, where a smiling Dumbledore showed her to her reserved seat.
Ron turned to Harry. "Why is she there?"
"Isn't that the table where all staff members sit?" Harry asked innocently.
It took Ron a moment to comprehend. "She's – staff?"
Harry shrugged. "She's finished her studies already, so she couldn't be a student here. She was really concerned about what to do while we were at school, and then Dumbledore offered her a job."
"What will she do?" Ron still asked.
"I'm sure that the headmaster will tell us all soon enough," Harry said, making Ron frown again.
