AN: Hey guys, so I decided to write this story because I felt like doing a different universe. Hope you enjoy.

Prologue…

The pony ran through the forest as magic beams struck trees. They leapt over roots from the trees of the Everfree forest and heard the chatter of guards and the commanding of orders. The pony ran through a thicket but their mane got caught on the thorns where it was tied by a red ribbon. They yanked their head and the mane came loose and continued to bolt.

The pony slipped into a cave and heard hooves trotting past. They leaned from behind the entrance and watched ponies in armor go past. A grey masked pony came after, a Pegasus, with a long mane, red eyes and a mask covering his mouth. The Pegasus looked towards the cave and the pony quickly retreated into the shadows.

The Pegasus looked forwards and steam expelled from vents in the mask. He took off into the sky and commanded the ground troops, "Keep searching for her. Nopony rests until we find her." The pony heard the troops move away and she bolted out from the cave.

She made her way to an old temple and walked towards a metal door and knocked on it and said a secret password. The door slid open and she stepped into the room. There she saw a light brown stallion with a darker brown mane and an hourglass cutiemark. "Did you manage," he asked looking at the orange mare. She lifted her signature brown hat and took out a purple gem. She handed it to the stallion and said, "I sure hope ya know what yer doin' Doc." Her green eye looking at him while the other was covered by an eyepatch with a scar showing from above and below the cover.

Dr. Whooves placed the gem into his machine and said, "We have no other choice Applejack. We need to bring help and hopefully we'll be able to get them here." Suddenly, there was a bang at the door. "Shoot, they found us Doc," said Applejack. Dr. Whooves looked at his machine powering up and knew it would need time to complete its purpose.

The door banged again and dust fell from the walls. Applejack looked at Dr. Whooves who watched his machine as it whirred and sparks flew around the coils. He could see it was going to complete the task and so he opened a portal to the secret base. Applejack sighed and took off her hat and handed it to him. "No, I cannot leave you," he said distressed. Applejack smiled weakly and said, "We know she's after me. Give Applebloom my hat."

Dr. Whooves looked at her green eye and she removed the eyepatch to reveal a whitened out eye with a grotesque scar running through it. She smiled warmly, put a hoof on his shoulder and said, "It'll be alright, sugarcube." She shoved him through the portal and it closed.

She walked towards the door and her mane waved in the wind that was being generated by the machine, she closed her eyes and breathed to compose herself, she was ready. The door fell down in front of her and royal guards in purple armor rushed in and Applejack leapt towards them and tackled a few to the ground and dodged past magic beams and swiped the legs of some guards causing them to fall.

She fought hard and watched as the machine glowed bright and sent a purple beam into the sky. She smiled but then the machine was shot with a violet magic beam and it exploded causing all the ponies inside the temple to be flung out of the temple.

Applejack hit the ground hard. She opened her good and eye and tried to stand but one of her front hooves was stomped on by the Pegasus from before. She winced in pain but refused to cry in pain for Him. He looked at her with those piercing red eyes and said, "The Princess will be most pleased to see you again AJ." He had her tied up and he hooked her to his suit and spread his wings and flew off to Canterlot.

Applejack watched the scenery below as she saw soldiers forcing ponies out of their homes. She saw so many being enslaved by the princess. She saw Canterlot in the distance and as she was brought closer he saw the banners with Her image and Her cutiemark.

The Pegasus landed near the front doors and dragged Applejack through the hallway and threw her in front of the one and only throne. She looked up at who sat and frowned. The princess came forward and said, "You know it didn't have to be like this Applejack. You could've just accepted it and let it happen, but then again you and Dash were always free spirited."

The Princess unveiled Applejack's friends and they were all statues in the wall as decorations. She grew angry and yelled, "Look what you've become, using them as your own personal decorations. I thought you cared about and loved us.

The Princess frowned and said, "That's why I'm doing this. Rainbow Dash was fast, but my general was faster. I'm sorry." She powered her magic and a tear rolled down her cheek and blasted Applejack with the beam. Applejack screamed in pain as she reared up and turned into stone.

The Princess cried as she levitated the new addition to her collection next to Rainbow Dash. The Pegasus walked over and said, "She was defending a machine, it shot some sort of energy into the sky before it was destroyed." His voice sounding mechanical from the mask. The Princess looked at him and said, "I wouldn't worry about it."

The General nodded and said, "There was someone else with her, they escaped." The Princess nodded and said, "There will be resistance, but for now, those who want to survive and keep their lives should kneel and swear allegiance."

The General nodded and said, "As you wish."

The Princess sat on the thrown and smiled watching ponies kneel and being surrounded by friends witnessing this historic moment.
