I don't own Hetalia okay? Anyway, that aside, thanks again for reading and all that jazz. Because of you guys this has become one of my favorite stories to work on. Anyway, enough of the A/N, on with the fic!

Arthur drove along as Francis looked at the listings that he had complied of houses in the area. Sure, there were a few things he had wanted but was also reminded of what Katyusha said about being safe for young children. He sighed and looked over at Arthur. "You think we will have more grandchildren?"

"What?" Arthur said. "Is 3 not enough for you?"

"I don't know…." Francis sighed. "It is kind of nice to have them, I must not lie."

"Yeah. They are rather precious, Grand pear." Arthur teased, knowing how much the twins' mispronunciation of grandpere annoyed him.

"So, why your comment of '3 not enough'?" Francis asked.

"I mean it is a little bit of fun, being grandparents. Honestly can brighten the children's day and we don't have to raise them." Arthur sighed recalling how many times Alfred had done something stupid or hurt himself. "But I also do not want to make the boys seem like they need to have more just for our sakes."

"You have a point." Francis agreed. "And I swear, that dog of Matthieu and Katyusha's…." Francis sighed as he looked in the car for a lint roller. "Did you used to have a lint roller in here?"

"Yes. Don't know what happened to it." Arthur said.

"Great. Just great." Francis pouted. "Why did I not notice all this dog hair until NOW?" He moaned.

"The lighting in Pizza Party Planet? Or that you cared more about our grandchildren's happiness than how much dog hair you have had all over you for most of the day." Arthur winked.

"Seriously! Why didn't you say something?" Francis said as he looked over his jacket.

"It simply did not matter to me." Arthur shrugged. "Now do you want to have to live with Katyusha and Matthew forever or drive a long way to your dream job or want to help me find that house?" He said as he turned off the car at an open house.

"Let's." Francis smiled.

"You sure you aren't spoiling the kids too much?" Alfred asked as Ivan put together the smores kit before they went for a backyard campout to see if they would handle it well. Alfred had wanted to take the twins on a grand vacation like to Disneyworld or the beach. However, Ivan did not want to do something that big, that required that much travel, if by plane or car while the children were still young, and they had just been adopted into their care not too long before. It was then that Alfred suggested camping out, which Ivan had sort of agreed to and wanted to see how that the children would be when sleeping outside and thus they just got a tent and put it in the backyard.

"It's their birthday Fredka." Ivan kissed Alfred on the cheek. "Like you said, they deserve something special. Also, it is their first birthday with us. I want them to feel loved and happy." Alfred still looked worried.

"But I know what you say to me all the time." Alfred sighed.

"I know." Ivan said. "And there's many more times that we will have to be the parental figures who say no. But I can't help myself. I saw how happy they were, and I want them to have this, and I want Natalya and Toris to have some fun too. You know just how hard they are working."

"Yeah I had talked with Aunt Lucille, she said Natalya is doing a good job." Alfred smiled. "No need to worry about her."

"Well, I worry she will work too much." Ivan sighed.

"Yeah, there is that." Alfred said as they headed into the living room and saw that the twins were watching Bluey, a show that Nikita had grown very fond of since Winnie had introduced it to her. Natalya and Toris were sitting on the couch while the twins sat at their feet and looked up at the TV. Nikita looked on with eyes wide at the show that was now her favorite while Dimitri looked somewhat interested but not as much as Nikita did. He looked sort of tired and bored when Alfred and Ivan came in. "Hey guys, remember those smores we made in the backyard.?" He asked

"Yeah!" Dimitri said as he perked up and looked over at his dads. It had turned out during the camp out, while they thought that Nikita, the one who acted more like Alfred and had more of his tastes. She didn't like the smores with chocolate and ate them without it. She had roasted her marshmallow but ate that with the crackers and ate the chocolate separately. "Are we going to make them now with Uncle Toris and Aunt Natalya?"

"If they want to?" Ivan asked as they nodded. "And we need to watch something else. You've been watching this for a while, it's now time to let your brother take a pick."

"Can we watch that Lilo and Stich movie? Looks cool." Dimitri said.

"Sure." Ivan smiled as he placed the movie on the television, and they began to watch it.

That evening, Francis lay next to Arthur looking into his eyes. They had been worn down from the twin's birthday parties and house hunting. They already had their budget and were ready to make a pick but offers were not being accepted till Monday when Arthur had told the agent to put theirs in on the house. It was a two-story brick house with a decent sized backyard that they could either have a garden or small playset for their grandchildren. While worried that another may make a higher offer, Arthur had turned his skills in coming with fantastic tales on how awful the house was. Francis saw what he was doing and played along until they had been able to have the agent secure it for them. "I must admire how shrewd you were with the agents and the other people." Francis sighed. "I had never pictured you to be such a shred businessman."

"I guess I picked it up from Zwingli. He's been telling me about how the venture is doing. Apparently it is doing well." Arthur said.

"Oh, I never pictured him as being a real friendly type to discuss such matters with you." Francis said.

"I never thought so either but there it is." Arthur sighed. "He says that because of your management and input and Lucille's work with the town making it more attractive a place to visit, revenue has really grown from what they had expected. Rebuilding an image is not an easy nor quick thing."

"You see such a brilliant man you married." Francis teased.

"Don't get ahead of yourself." Arthur sighed. "This is just the start."

Francis rolled his eyes and poured himself a glass of wine. It was nice to be home with his husband. He had missed Arthur dearly, but he could not bear to drive the long distance it was to do so every day. Matthew and Katyusha had offered up a room for Francis while they had looked for houses that were closer and a fair balance between the two jobs. He had a job he loved but knew that Arthur loved his job despite what he complained about the students. His love of teaching literature had outweighed his hatred of whiney students who would not do their work like they should or parents who would not hold their adult children accountable or let them suffer the consequences of their lack of effort. He did not do the same for his sons. Francis knew this and was not going to make Arthur give it up for a dream of his he did not have the same passion for. Marriage and love was about compromise and working for the best of everyone. Arthur looked up from his book and to Francis. "What is it mon cher?" He asked.

"I was thinking about something…." Arthur began.

"Yes?" Francis asked.

"Well, all goes well with this, then we will live not too far from the boys." Arthur stated as Francis nodded. "So, I was thinking that this year, we have everyone at the new house for the holidays. It wouldn't be that far so that everyone wouldn't have to try and stay in a guest room. I mean it's not like how Alfred's house was last year, where they had two guest rooms so Matthew, Katyusha and we could stay at the same house for a celebration," Arthur mused.

"Not to mention they both have small children who would need their own space as well." Francis said.

"Yes, they can easily drive for the start of the celebration, then take the children home when they have had their fill of sweets and presents and all we would have to do is clean up." Arthur said.

"After I give you some holiday cheer." Francis smiled kissing Arthur. "I wanted to do some after Thanksgiving but well, I would not feel right making love to you in our son's house."

"So, you do have some shame." Arthur teased.

"So that's what they call it," Francis scoffed. "I just have respect for the wishes of others when I am visiting. For you see, would you like to have disturbed Ivan with some of our affairs, even before they had those lovely little twins?"

"No, I could see he would be rather annoyed." Arthur said sipping his tea. "Oh, and I was having an interesting conversation with Matthew before you start planning too much for the holidays."

"Oui?" Francis asked.

"Yes. Seems he and Katyusha have a similar idea to yours." Arthur said as he finished his tea, placed the marker in his book and ushered Francis over. "He told me he was thinking of inviting the family for Thanksgiving as we have been so helpful for him and Katyusha when they were at their lowest points, that he wants to host this year and to take some burden off Alfred and Ivan with their two now four-year-olds."

"But Charlotte isn't even a year old. She'd be about 7 or 8 months then." Francis said.

"Yes but she won't be running around their feet would they?" Arthur smirked. "Think back to how Alfred was at that age. I cannot speak for Ivan, but for someone who he isn't genetically related to, she sure acts like him a lot."

"You know, fate can be a funny thing." Francis said. "Perhaps this is how it was meant to be. Perhaps that those two needed parents like Alfred and Ivan are. Perhaps some misfortune was needed to give Mathieu and Katyusha the confidence they need to be parents."

"Perhaps." Arthur said as he turned to his husband. "And perhaps this time you have to spend with Matthew and Katyusha is just the spark we need."

"Just like when we were first together….." Francis smirked.

"Indeed." Arthur smiled.

As the movie wrapped up, Alfred and Ivan looked up and saw that while they had started watching in their sleeping bags, the twins had fallen asleep right before the end. They had already changed into their pajamas and curled up before Ivan had set the movie to play, noting the time that it was when it began it would be their bedtime and even though they were more permissive than normal for the day when it came to the amount of sweets they had, one thing Ivan was not going to be too permissive on was bedtime. He would make allowances for the movie to be over, but it had seemed that the twins were just overcome themselves and fell asleep on their own. Alfred smiled and bent down to adjust the twins in the sleeping bags, so they'd be more comfortable, gave Nikita her favorite bear with the Chicago Cubs shirt and Dimitri his favorite plush dinosaur and then looked over to where Natalya and Toris were sitting. Smiling, he poked Ivan.

"What is it Fredka?" He asked with a slight whisper.

"Should be help Natalya and Toris into their sleeping bags too?" Alfred whispered.

"What are you saying?" Ivan asked as he turned and saw that Natalya had fallen asleep on Toris's lap and he had his hand placed on her hair that was now draped all over his legs and onto the floor. "Oh. Well even though it is my little sister, I would not feel bad about waking them up to have them get to sleep themselves."

"I still have to get our sleeping bag." Alfred said.

"Oh, that's right." Ivan remembered. The twins wanted everyone in the living room for the sleepover and did not want Alfred and Ivan to sleep in their bed because they wanted their fathers with them. "Can't we put the sofa out? We are the parents and can use our much older age to some four-year-olds as an excuse."

"Nah man." Alfred said. "They want us to have a living room camp out, then that's what we are doing."

"I guess." Ivan sighed. "Let me wake Natalya and Toris though." I doubt Natalya would take too well to you waking her up Fredka. Ivan thought as he gently shook Toris awake followed by Natalya. "Hello sleepyheads. Movie is over." Ivan smiled as Toris woke up and saw his face with his smile that gave an aura of both pleasantry and creepy.

"Ah." Toris began to yell but caught his tone after seeing the twins asleep from behind where Ivan was standing. "So sorry Mr. Ivan sir. I guess that Natalya and I were a little more tired than we thought we were."

"Huh?" Natalya whispered as she moved her hair around. "I guess we did fall asleep….." She sighed rubbing her eyes.

"I guess with all the hard work you two are doing and playing with the twins all day, it is enough to wear anyone out." Ivan smiled. "But Fredka is getting our sleeping bags and I figured we could have a few minutes to watch something or talk before we go to sleep ourselves. "We made sure Nikita and Dimitri have what they need. I am sure they will wake up in a little bit, but I think we are all fairly tired."

"Old grey mare he ain't what he used to be." Alfred teased in a whisper as he unfurled the roomy sleeping bag for two and headed up to Ivan's side.

"I am only a few months older than you." Ivan scoffed.

"Meh, you know I love you big guy." Alfred said as he kissed him.

"I do, otherwise I would not put up with that." Ivan smiled as he took the smores tray into the kitchen and Toris and Natalya worked their way into the sleeping bags they had laid out not too far from the twins. Once everyone was settled, Alfred snuggled onto Ivan's chest and looked over at Toris and Natalya. He had known that come October when the leaves were at their perfect color was when they were going to have to go to Kiku and Mei's wedding. In fact, he had been fitted for the kimono once everything had been figured out and Mei had found a wedding shop that could make traditional Japanese wedding clothing. She had shown the twins what the dress was going to look like when they were fitting the twins for their outfits. It was during one of these fittings that Ivan wondered if a date was picked for Natalya and Toris yet. Alfred hadn't heard anything from Toris and Natalya hadn't told Ivan anything, so he sighed and looked over at the two. "I have been meaning to ask you little sister, have you two picked a date yet?"

"A date?" Natalya asked.

"You know, for your guys's wedding?" Alfred asked. "My buddy Kiku's is next month at some winery upstate. His fiancée Mei's handling most all that stuff. She wanted it done western style ceremony just dressed in the traditional garb of her homeland.

"Oh, I haven't really thought too much about an exact date." Natalya sighed.

"Miss Natalya, the most organized and determined person I have ever met, hasn't picked a date yet?" Alfred teased.

"We have been thinking next summer in between semesters possibly." Toris added. "Natalya had mentioned it to her boss who wouldn't mind giving her time off for wedding and a honeymoon and it would give my parents time to get the arrangements to come here."

"True, they're still in Lithuania, right?" Alfred asked.

"Yes." Toris said as he cuddled closer to Natalya who yawned.

"It's a tiresome day….." She blushed wanting to change the subject.

"Indeed." Ivan sighed as he held Alfred tighter. "We all need some sleep." He added as he started to rub Alfred's back, knowing that he had such a touch there that it almost knocked the active man out asleep right away.

Later that night, Nikita woke up, feeling the need to have to go to the bathroom. Normally she did not like getting up after having been tucked into bed, but she had fallen asleep and remembered that her aunt and uncle, papa and daddy were all asleep in the room with her. It was their sleepover after all for their birthday. She was getting tired of having to try and explain to her fathers why her bed was wet, nor did she want to have to wash her sleeping bag like she did many of her sheets. I'm 4 years old now. I am a big girl and if I want to have Winnie over or go to her house for a sleepover I can't be wetting the bed, but I don't want to go to the bathroom at night alone….. she thought as she woke up, stepped on her brother who jumped up in his sleep.

"Niki!" He gasped throwing his stuffed dinosaur across the room at Natalya's face who twitched as if she was going to wake up. "What are you doing?"

"Going potty." Nikita said as she headed up the stairs and towards the bathroom.

"But you have a hard time with the light switch." Dimitri said. "Maybe we should get Daddy or Papa."

"I can go in the dark. There's a night light in the bathroom." Nikita said as she ran up the stairs, looking over at the adults and her brother as she tripped not wanting any of them to wake up or run after her and headed into the bathroom herself. After she shut the door, relying on the nightlight to take care of things, Toris had woken up and headed up the stairs to the bathroom himself. Dimitri ran after him to try and tell him that Nikita was in there when he put his hand to the knob and felt the door slip away from him.

"Ką? Kas vyksta? Ar namas vaiduoklis? Ar tualete yra vaiduoklis?" Toris said in Lithuanian, more prone to his native language in his groggy nature.

"You talk funny. Kind of sounds like Papa's Russian but not." Nikita said.

"Oh! You were in there." Toris said waking up. "You scared me."

"I had to go potty but couldn't reach the light. Didn't want to wake Daddy and Papa. But now I do." She said as she saw Dimitri and had him follow her down the stairs to where Alfred and Ivan were asleep.

"They look really happy." Dimitri said as he hugged his plush dinosaur to make the glow light around its neck activate.

"And Daddy is drooling on Papa." Nikita said loudly looking over Ivan, causing him to open his eyes widely.

"Nikita! Vse normal'no? Pochemu ty stoish' nado mnoy?" Ivan said as Alfred woke up.

"Kids, is everything okay? You need us?" Alfred said, his parental concern rushing over him.

"I have something I want to tell you!" Nikita smiled.

"Oh, and Uncle Toris speaks Lithuanian when he's sleepy like you do Russian Papa." Dimitri said.

"I am sure you have something more important to tell us." Ivan sighed.

"I do. I used the bathroom all by myself at night. No wet beds. I'm a big girl." Nikita said.

"That's great Niki." Alfred said ruffling her hair. "But it's late and big girls need their sleep. Look at your aunt over there. Between Toris and your papa screaming out in their sleep, she's snoozing away. Like you two need to be if you want to get bigger."

"Okay." Nikita and Dimitri said as they headed back into their sleeping bags, closing their eyes tight.

"She woke us up to tell her that?" Ivan asked Alfred.

"Cut her some slack dude. She's been having a hard time with wetting the bed. Let the little 4-year-old be proud of that." Alfred sighed kissing him.

"I guess." Ivan smiled.

"She's getting the hang of it." Alfred smiled as Toris flushed the toilet and headed back down next to Natalya. "And Toris is a big boy too. He didn't wet the bed." Alfred laughed.

"Go to sleep Fredka." Ivan sighed as he held Alfred close and the two began to drift off again.

Ką? Kas vyksta? Ar namas vaiduoklis? Ar tualete yra vaiduoklis? - Lithuanian-What? What's going on? Is the house haunted? Is there a ghost in the toilet?

Nikita! Vse normal'no? Pochemu ty stoish' nado mnoy? -Russian-Nikita! Is everything okay? Why are you standing over me?

So how was that? Good? Bad? Short? Long? Let me know in a review. I have just a few more chapters left planned and then a time skip story after this. Because God knows how fun puberty would be for the twins with Ivan and Alfred for dads. So other than that, remember to read (well you just did) and review. Ciao for now,
