Construct 5: The Innocent Runaway
Sento: Genius Physicist Kiryu Sento lives in the nation of Touto. Me a Tokyo resident, have to deal with Mysterious Monsters called "Smash" to terrorize the populace! Enter our Hero Kamen Rider Build!
Ichika:(sweatdrop) Quit it with the cringy self introduction! You're just a dude with amnesia.
Sento: Shut up! That's the escaped convict and murderer Banjou Ichika.
Ichika: I didn't kill anyone or run away!
Sento: Because he cried and begged so badly, that in my kindness I fought the Touto Government and helped him escape! What happens next in Construct 5?!
Ichika: I didn't cry or beg!
Sento:(sweatdrop) Try and keep up.

(Shows Sento working on bottle.)

(Zooms in on Sento, changes into build and throws punch)

(Shows Build throw a punch then a kick)

(Scene changes to Ichika working on paper)

(Zooms in on Ichika as swings blade in IS)

(Shows Bat with Monsters in front of him, Scene switches to bottles on a spinning table. Hands grab the bottles.)

(Shows Sento, Tabane, Ichika, Chloe all shaking bottles)

(Shows Sento turning lever and takes Henshin pose. Build armor encloses around Sento)
Be The One, Be The One! All right!
(Shows Rabbit Tank doing finisher, then Gorilla Diamond smashing fist, Show Hedgehog Tank do Ora Ora attacks breaking the screen.)

(Silhouettes of other Characters appear)

(Sento spin kicks, Ichika throws a punch. Steam engulfs screen to Show Bat)

(shows Build standing before an army of Smash monsters)

(back to Sento and Co shaking bottles as camera pans around)

(Build readies weapon and Charges Smash Army)

(Rabbit Tank stands as sparks fall on him. Gorilla Diamond readies gorilla fist)
Message, Okoru yo hibiku yo~!
(Tank Hedgehog readies smash attack. Ichika throw a punch while screaming.)
We are Sento… Tabane's underground Lab…
I lead Ichika into the underground lab of the Cafe. Banjou wanders around the lab. "No wonder no one could find Tabane's lab." Banjou said, walking up to a console he reaches out to grab something Tabane steps over. "Please don't touch that." Tabane said, pushing walking over to me, she pulled me aside.
Tabane:(pats Sento on shoulder) Good job Sento! I'm already working on getting the data to push suspicion off of Ichika! But did you really have to bring him here?
Sento:(crosses arms) I didn't have much of a choice. If I didn't do something, he was going to end up back in their grasp. He'll be a guinea pig again.
Tabane:(tilts head) What do you mean by that?
Sento:(thinks back) He has a best match with my memories. Near identical to what I underwent. Which means I was one of their test subjects, too.
Tabane:(crosses arms) But if they did something to you, shouldn't you both be monsters now? Plus, he still has his memoires. Because he does, it means he knows where their base is, right?
Sento:(points to Ichika) Problem is, he doesn't remember where it was! But if we look into the murder that Banjou was framed for… We might find a lead on the bat man and his group!(steps over to Ichika) Hey!
I grab Ichika on the shoulder and turn him around. Ichika is wearing gem cutters glasses on his face that I have modified. "Don't touch my stuff." I said taking off the glasses from his face and placing them down on the desk next to him. "For now, tell us about yourself." I ask Ichika, to which he looks at us confused. "About what?" Ichika responds. "Everything." I said to him,
Ichika:(nods) Got it…(takes a seat) Well, I was born in an ob/gyn clinic in Yokohama.(Flashback) I was a healthy 3.203 kilos…
Sento:(Grabs flashback and throws it) Nobody said to start that far back!
Ichika:(looks at flashback fly away) Hey!(looks to Sento) You said everything!
Sento:(turns) Pick up on a context clue, ya moron.
Ichika:(grabs and turns Sento) Who are you calling an idiot? Huh?!(shakes Sento)
Sento:(being shuck) Ah-a-a-a-h(pushes Ichika back) Hey! Don't get caught up in that every time.(sighs) What I meant was I want to hear from the moment you were captured.
Ichika: Oh… Oh~!(nods) Got it. I was told about this scientist who was supposed to give me a job. I went to his place but he was already dead, and then the police showed up…
Tabane:(raises arm) Objection!
Sento:(points to Tabane) Go ahead, Master.
Tabane:(points to Ichika) That seems too convenient Ikkun. For the police to show up at a murder scene, with that kind of timing…
Ichika:(stands up) Well, they did anyway! You gotta believe me.(walks towards Sento) You saying I'm lying?!
I step over to him and pat him on the shoulder. "I'm not, if anything it makes sense that someone set you up." I said to him, Ichika nods and pointed at me. "Exactly! That's what-" Just then- "Ding!" "Whaa~!" Ichika shouts as he jumps and grabs me by the shoulders as the Bottle Fabricator door swings open. "Whoa~!" I exclaim as I rush over to the newly made bottle. Grabbing the new bottle I wave away the smoke to get a better look.
The bottle's body is shaped into the Gorilla's face. The bottle's body and cap is colored brown, while the ends are pure black. On the cap there's no mark of its Best Match.
I inspect the bottle closely. "So that Smash resulted in a gorilla, huh? Good work..." I say to my beautiful machine. The main door opens as Chloe steps out pushing aside my hand. "Good work that I did. Move." She said walking past me.
Ichika:(points at Chloe) Who are you?!
Chloe:(walks over to Ichika)...(squares up) I could ask you the same question.
When Chloe squares up, Ichika also instinctively takes a defensive stance. 'That's a former spy for ya…' I step over to Ichika. "In any case, if the murder were set up, there should be something that we can to dig into." I said, patting Ichika on the shoulder. Tabane steps over to me grabbing and inspecting the bottle. "The question is now… Where to begin." Tabane asks, I begin to ponder, the room goes silent when the sound of footsteps by the stairs fill our ears.
Sento:(looks at stairs) Who's there?!
Woman:(steps down steps) Just someone passing by. I couldn't help but hear what happened. If information is what you need, in that case, I can help there!
The woman coming down the steps is a 5ft 8in tall woman with a light brown haired woman, with dark brown eyes. Wearing a red shirt with a white coat and bag, wearing a long black skirt with flowers on it.
She steps into the room and looks at us all. "It's nice to meet you all." She said, giving us a wave. I give Tabane a look and she looks back at me with confusion. Chloe steps over to Tabane and slaps her on the shoulder. "Why did you leave the door open?!" Chloe asks, both me and Chloe look at Tabane as we cross our arms.
Tabane: Eh?(looks to everyone) I locked it!(lists) You got back with Ik-kun. I was all "Good job Sento! I'm already working on getting the data to push suspicion off of Ichika!" Then I followed after and… And I didn't close it.
Sento:(Taps Tabane's chest) Oi~!
Tabane:(hands together) Gomen!
Woman:(looks around) So this is Kamen Rider Build's hideout…
Sento:(rushes over to Woman) Wait… How do you know about that?
Woman:(turns to Sento) Did you forget about last night? At. The. Pier. You saved me from that Smash.
Sento: The pier? Ah! You're that reporter I saved!(remembers) But how'd you know to look here?
The reporter giggles and reaches into her purse. "That's simple." The reporter takes out a pack of matches with the Infinite Stratos Coffee logo on it. "This. You dropped this at the Pier." She explains, I tilt my head. 'When could I- Ah!' "I must have dropped it!" I shout, Tabane swings her hand, hitting my chest. "Oi~!" Tabane exclaims. I put up my hands together in response. "Gomen!" I apologize.
Reporter:(puts away matches) Don't worry! I'm just here to thank you…(looks around) Altho… It'd be fantastic if you let me do a story on Kamen Rider Build… Since your debut earlier today, the whole world wants to know more about you! And if you give me access, I would be rolling in the Cash!
Sento:(sighs) Yeah right…(turns and walks) Not happening.
Reporter:(runs over to Sento and grabs arms) Please! I'm a freelancer, and barely making it!(Sento pushes arms away) … If you don't let me cover this, up close. I'm gonna out you. The many IS Companies of the world would love to learn of your Technology…
Chloe:(stands up) …That's impressively bold.(points at Sawa) I like her.
Tabane:(sighs) Alright, I understand.
Chloe:(looks to Tabane) Tabane-san! I must insist that you quit understanding!
Tabane:(looks at Chloe) We don't have much of a choice!(points to Woman) But you can't reveal who we are, got it?
Reporter: A mysterious edge to the story?(Makes W with hands) Sounds like a wonderful Win Win scenario to me! Right?
The reporter looked at me as I could not help but just sigh. "This is terrible." I mutter to myself. "Mind telling us your name?" I ask. The reporter digs into her bag and takes out her phone and pulls up her business card. "My name is Sawa Takigawa." I put my phone up to hers and I got her contact information. Pulling up a file on her, I skim through. 'She's apparently a journalist investigating the Pandora Box and items surrounding it, huh?' I look over at Sawa as she completes the agreement with Tabane.
Times skip: 2 hours later…Upstairs…
Stepping upstairs after giving Sawa the minimum on Build, I pull out my phone to call a close friend. After waiting a few seconds, my call is answered. "Sento. About the time you called. This is about Ichika right?" Chifuyu's demanding voice booms from over the phone. I smile and chuckle. "Yup." I answer as I take a seat at the counter of the cafe.
Sento:(smiles) How was my performance? Groundbreaking right?
Chifuyu:(sighs) Yeah, in one way. The world is scrambling for crumbs of information.
Sento:(chuckles) Yeah, I just had a reporter piece two and two together.
Chifuyu: Is everything okay?
Sento:(glances at fridge) Yeah. She's promised to keep our identities a secret for access to my activities.
Chifuyu: Great, you're gonna have an even bigger ego than before… Still you're lucky. If it weren't for the Nation being in a panic when you first transformed a year ago, this info would have circulated long ago.
Sento:(nods) Agreed. But thanks to it, the IS project gained more traction. I calculated a 83% chance that the Skywall would have no dents in it for decades.
Chifuyu:(giggiles) Well, that's one way of looking at it. Still, thanks for calling. Take care of Ichika. Tabane's working on scrounging up info to prove his innocence right?
Sento:(serious) Yeah… Or at least to keep the guilty verdict off him. And your brother may have been captured by the same organization. The ones who captured me and took away my memories.
Chifuyu: Really? Are you sure about that?
Sento:(takes out Rabbit bottle) Yup. What they did to Ichika-kun is a Best Match with what happened to me. It's terrible.
Chifuyu: I see… give me updates if anything develops.
Sento:(smiles) You got it. And trust me, your brother will be fine.
I poketing my bottle. "Just put my brother in a separate room from Tabane, okay?" I chuckle and sigh. "Okay. yeah, good point. I should separate the two." I nodded. Remembering back to my own personal experience, I feel a cold shiver go down my spine thinking back. "Thank you. Good night, Sento." Chifuyu thanks me and hangs up.
The next day… Touto Pier…
Thanks to a tip we got about a Smash sighting, I drove up to the pier. Arriving in my armor, I look around to see nothing. In my HUD I click a button, as the armor pieces of my helmet disconnect and fold away into the chest piece. "Hey. You sure there's a Smash here?" I ask calling up Chloe. "Yes, the reports were clear." Tabane said. "Hmm…" My helmet folds up again, as I keep an eye out, a few seconds later. Government Guardians come from out behind cover and take aim at me.
Build:(revs engine) Aww Crap!
Chloe:(over call) It's a Trap! Get out of there!
Build:(driving) Got it!
Driving straight at the Guardians as they form a wall to block me. I summon the Drill Crusher into my hand. Driving right, I hit a slope. Launching up into the air, I fly over the Guardians. Some people jump into the air to grab my bike. The ones that get close, I cut down. Hitting the ground, a pair of biker Guardians drive after me. The bikes have a passenger that shoots at me as I drive. I hit the break and slide between the two bikes as I knock them into the air and I drive off.
Chloe:(smiles) Well, I guess you forgot that you were a fugitive huh?
Build:(sighs) Worse knowing that IS companies around the world are trying to get at my tech.(takes out bottles) I'll be careful… speaking of… Where's Banjou?
Chloe:(blank face) Oh, I tied him up.
Sento:(sweatdrop) …Why?
Ichika:(struggling in the background) What's with the cuffs?! Take them off!
"Just wanted to be safe." Chloe answers. "Not happening. I don't wanna get attacked." Chloe shouts. I sigh as I facepalm, hanging up. 'Do your best Banjou.' I check around to see if anyone is following. But no one seems to be following me. "Well, I had better get started." I said, I drive off towards work.
We are Ichika
The woman who chained up steps over and hands me. "Here read this." The woman says putting a board up to me. I squint my eyes to read what's on the whiteboard. "To turn a Smash human again, you defeat it and retrieve its essence." I read off, but it's hard to read with her holding it up. 'It's too hard to read!' I grab the board with my feet and put it on the ground, making it easier to read. "Once the essence has been bottled… It can be purified in the conversion equipment, for Kamen Rider's use." I look over at the Bottle Fabricator. And she was inside that thing?
Woman: I'm the only one who can purify it.(looks at wrist band) It's some kind of power I have.
I noticed the woman left the phone on the ground close to me. 'I can use it!' "What, is that for real?" I said, trying to reach over and grab the phone. "Doesn't sound like something a kid like you would be able to do." I provoke, the woman looks visibly annoyed. "Why don't you make one right now? Or is this all a load of crap?" I said, she stands up grabbing an empty bottle.
Woman:(steps over to fabricator) It's not. And you're on. Once I'm done, you're paying for my time.
Ichika:(looks over) If you do manage to!
The woman puts the bottle into the small door on the side of the machine and closes it up. Then she enters the other room, the large steel door slides closed. Once the doors close, I reach out and finally manage to bring the phone over to me. Using my feet I dial up a number and slide the phone over to me. The call gets though as I lean onto my side with the chains wrapping me and holding me just above the phone.
Ichika:(turns over) Kasumi? It's me.
Kasumi: Ichika? Is that you?! Help me! No~!
Ichika:(worried) Kasumi! Kasumi!
Voice: Banjou Ichika… I'll bring the girl to you.
The caller hangs up. "Kasumi!" I shout. I sit up and struggle in my chains. 'Damn it! I can't stay here!" I start pushing against the chains trying to break one to free the rest of myself. 'I… Need… To… Break… Free!' I push with everything I have when the chains snap and fall to the ground freeing me. "Yes!" I shout standing up, I rush over to the stairs, stopping a change of clothes for me. "Hope this won't stand out as much." I said grabbing the clothes and running up the stairs.
