Chapter 9:
Rise of the Miracle Team

After the battle with Shadow Moth and reclaiming the Peacock Miraculous, Master Su-Han gave Ladybug and Cat Noir his consent to continue their search for the Butterfly Miraculous knowing full well that they have gained the Full Trust of the Celestial Guardian since they have proved themselves time and time again that they are capable of achieving in getting it back.
On the rooftop of the Dupain-Cheng Bakery, Master Su-Han stands on the balcony talking to the young Ladybug.
"You have done well Young Ladybug" he said and continued "You and Cat Noir have managed to get back 1 of the 2 missing Miraculous, the Peacock Miraculous and is now safely back in the Miracle Box and from what I was told about it being damaged, it looks as it was made just yesterday" as he paused again and continued again "The battle you and Cat Noir fought was long and tiring, but you managed to succeed in getting it back at great sacrifice of losing the Butterfly Miraculous in the process" as Marinette was about to say something when he put his hand up to stop her and said "Please, let me finish what I have to say first" as he put his hand back at his side again and continued "Which is why I am letting it go" as Marinette looked at him with a shock on her face "Ever since I first met you back when you were still 14 years old, I have to come realize that this New World needs how shall I say 'Outside of the Box Thinking' as the saying goes and I have seen both you and Cat Noir achieve things that are not exactly in the rules in order to defeat your enemy and your Team has also earned my respect to, which is why I am leaving everything in your capable hands of finding the Butterfly Miraculous and returning to the Temple" he finished off with.
"You are Master?" Marinette said to him and he replied.
"Yes, I been recalled back to the Temple by the Grandmaster of the Order" He said to her and continued "It is highly unlikely that we would see each other again" he finished off with.
"Its been an Honor of knowing you Master Su-Han" Marinette said to the Celestial Guardian while giving the respectful bow.
"The Honor was mine young Ladybug" as bows back and continues talking "But I will keep in contact with you by what is known as Postal Mail since we don't have what you call the 'Wifi' or the 'Computer' at the Temple" as he let her know and his hand went into his bag and got out the cell phone that Ladybug gave to him and has tought him how to use it.
"Keep it, even though you may not have the so called 'Wifi' at the Temple, but you still can make videos and take pictures like how I showed you" she said to him and continued "You never know, those videos and picture taking may come in handy" she finished off with.
"Oh, I almost to forgot, I had the chance to examine your friend's mother like you asked and I am sorry to say that their is nothing that can be done for her, her case is far to severe, I say she has at least a few days maybe a week before she passes on, but I did examine the last user of the Peacock Miraculous, Ms. Sancour was it and there is a Special Medicine that she can take to alleviate her symptoms quite considerably, but she would be taking it for the rest of her life, I've already taken liberty to make some of it up and writen out a list of the ingredients on a piece of paper for her to continue taking it, she would need to take it orally mixed in a cup of water every morning when she wakes up and before she goes to bed, so be sure to give it to her" he said to her.
-One Month after the Battle with Shadow Moth-
In his Office at the Central Office Building of the Gabriel Fashions Brand sat none other then Adrien Agreste (age 18) who has an appointment with a 'certain' employee and is waiting for them to come through that door, as his secretary pages him to let him know she has arrived and tells her to send her in as the door opens to reveal none other then Lila Rossi.
"Lila, Thank you for coming, please have a seat" he said to her as she took a seat and continues talking "I'm Terminating your Contract with us Lila, Meaning your Fired" he finishes off with.
"What! Why?" she says to him.
"Because I know the real truth about you Lila" he says to her "But don't worry Lila, I'm not Black Listing your name off the Fashion Community, I only say this with 1 Condition" he says to her.
"And what condition is that?" she asks.
"That you stay the HELL AWAY from me and all of my Friends, GOT IT" as he raises his voice a bit "That is the only Condition I ask from you Lila, you continue your Modeling Career, you stay away from my friends" as he ends the conversation with her and calls for his bodyguard to escort Ms. Rossi out of the building.
As she was escorted out of the building by Adrien's Bodyguard, she says to herself "You'll regret that Adrien, but it wouldn't really matter anyways" as she starts walking away from the building and continues talking "With things as they are with your Company, I wouldn't be surprised if it went belly up by the end of the month" and continues walking as she approches Paris's largest park and decides to take a walk through it in till she reaches a small bridge with a small stream within it and walks to the center of the small bridge and stops and looks over the railing as she looks around to see no one was around her as she begins ploting on getting revenge on not only Ladybug, but also Marinette and Adrien, but she can't do that now since Gabriel Agreste has been arrested for being Shadow Moth and since she already knew that he was Hawkmoth to begin with but kept quite about it and it wasn't a suprise to her that he was Shadow Moth to, so her revenge plans have been put on hold for now, in till she saw something glistening in the stream on the rock bed and thought it was some lost change or something, but still decided to investigate it anyways as she got closer and plucks it out of the water when all of a sudden and strange glowing ball circles around her as that energy ball transforms into a purple orchid colored creature as she smiles devilishly as she has found the tool for her revenge on Ladybug and as the small creature looks upon the face of his new Master and recognized the face immediately as Lila Rossi and is frightened with fear at who it was and had always felt that she was FAR worse then Gabriel ever was.
-3 Years Later, A month before Marinette Receives the Package-
As the Order tries to fend off the coming attacker. Master Su-Han with an Apprentice Guardian in training at his side is dashing through the corridors of the Temple to an area to hide in for now when the apprentice Guardian asks his Master something.
"Master Su-Han! What are we going to do?, This attacker is to powerful to deal with and most of the Senior Guardians are no longer able to fight now since they lost their memories when they used the spell of Guardianship to transfer their Miracle Boxes to New Guardians that they trained outside the temple when the temple was lost all those Centuries ago" said the Apprentice.
"I know and the Teleportation spell that was put on those Miracle Boxes after what has happened all those years ago added to the spell of Guardianship to send them to their new Guardians for their own potection, we maybe looking at the End of our Order for good since the Grandmaster has made those new procedures when I returned to the Temple 3 years ago" he said to the apprentice as they reached their attended destination within the temple and continued "Which is why I asked you to come with me young one" as he took out the object that was given to him and started up the video recording and made a video and ended the recording and places it inside an envelope and seals it up and gives it to the apprentice at his side.
"Here, I want you to take this to the nearest Postal Services Center and have it sent out as quickly as possible, here is some money to pay for the shipping costs" he said to him as he pushes on a wall and opens a secret door leading to the cave system under the temple
"BUT Master! What about you?" the apprentice says to him.
"I will remain here to distract the attacker while you escape into the caves" Su-Han said to him as they both continue to hear the explosions and the screams within the temple, as faithful friends continue to die while protecting this Sacred place "He's getting close, go NOW" as the apprentice guardian enters through the secret exit that leads to the caves as Master Su-Han closes it before the doors to the room he was in exploded and as he is standing there in attack postion ready to attack the attacker as Master Su-Han makes his move and the attacker just pointed his hand and shot a ball of white light at the Master Guardian and was disintegrated into nothing.
From a high cliff edge, a lone figure was standing there watching the slaughter that was going on in the structure below her and was just smiling at what is going on down there, while holding onto a small object in her hand as a purple mask appears over her face and the figure says "You have done well my new toy. Now return to my side and lets get out of this cold weather".
Meanwhile out in space, a lone Satellite owned by DayTronics Enterprises is about to approach the area of the Temple of the Guardians and as it approches the coordinates, it begins its scan and detects something out of the ordrdinary and a secret directive programed into the satellite activated and sent all of the data pertaining to these special coordinates to a unknown location while fake data was sent to the servers at the DayTronics Enterprises's mainframe.
In a cave under a mansion, a special computer just received data and sent a Class-1 Alert to its owner at the Central Office of DayTronics Enterprises.
While in a Meeting with some of the Heads of certain Departments at DayTronics Enterprises, Eric Dayton receives a vibration in his pocket as he takes out his phone and sees the special 'signal' coming through his phone.
"Gentlemen, Lets continue with this venture day after tomorrow and all get some rest since it has been almost 5 hrs since this meeting started and its late and I know we all have families that we like to get back to" he said to everyone in the meeting.
"Very well Mr. Dayton, we'll finish this up day after tomorrow" as one of the other Department Heads was giving his Report said as they all headed out of the Conference Room to their offices and as for Eric, he had other plans when he reached his office and walked through the doors.
"Lock" he said as the doors responed to his voice and shut themselves and walks over to his desk and taps his suit pocket lightly letting someone know that their going down and as he sits down in his desk chair and says "Chair" as the chair tilts forward and Eric slides down into a secret trap door in the floor leading to a shoot as Eric was placed onto a coffin like vehicle and begins to accelerates fast down a long tube leading all the way to the cave and comes to a complete stop as the vehicle opens the door and Eric steps out of the vehicle and walks over the computer and receives the data and sees the images and recognizes the location immediately, the Temple of the Guardians or should I say 'WAS' the location and needs to see it for himself as he said the special words that transforms him into his hero persona "Sunarr, Bring the Night" and grabs his utility belt and the gear he needs and heads on over to a section of the cave where a fighter in the shape of a bat hangs upside down and gets in that very special fighter craft and launches out of the cave at mach speeds.
As the Batwing speeds towards the coordinates, he receives a video transmission from home as his wife appears on window screen.
"Eric! What's going on? I received an Alert-1 from the Batcomputer on my phone and was about to call you and found out that the Batwing has been taken out?" she said.
"Sorry about that Alexis, but that Alert-1 was sent by the DayTronics Enterprises Satellite as it was arriving at the coordinates of the Temple of the Guardians, it detected something out of the ordinary, but when I looked at the images, all I saw was smoke" as his wife gasps at what she just heard "That's why I left immediately in the Batwing in hopes of finding out myself and didn't tell you in time" he finished off with.
"Do you think the Temple was attacked?" she said and continues "Do you think their might be survivors?".
"I won't know in till I arrive there and do an investigation" he said to her and says "I'll see you and the kids tomorrow, love you" he finished off with.
"Love you to and be careful" she replied back as she ended the transmission.
As the Batwing approaches the Temple's coordinates, its pilot slows down the acceleration and begins hover mode procedures, as the pilot exits the cockpit and uses his grapple hook to slow his decent and safely lands on the ground and looks up to see the destruction all around him as he reaches down to his utility belt and grabs remote com unit and gives orders through it.
"Launch Bat-drones, bat-drones 1 and 2, begin a search perimeter around the temple and the mountain area around the temple and search for any signs of caves or etc., bat-drones 3 and 4 begin scanning of the temple remains in all varbles of scanning methods" he said through the remote com unit and starts walking into what use to be the temple entrance and begins his own investigation as his Kwami talks to him in his mind.
*Eric, I don't think Bat-drones 3 and 4 are going be much helpful here* Sunarr says.
*Why you say that Sunarr?* as Eric closes his eyes and replies back to his old friend.
*Because I'm sensing Destructive Energies here, Destructive Magical Energies that are somewhat similar to the destructive energy used by the Miraculous of the Black Cat* he said.
As he opens his eyes in shock from what he just heard and says "That's not Possible!".
*Hey, I did say it was 'SOMEWHAT' similar to the destructive energy used by the Black Cat Miraculous but its still different* as Sunarr paused for a bit and continued *Almost as if the energy can be used more then once and can work the same way as a Kwami without a Holder*.
*What do you mean Sunarr?* he says to his Kwami.
*As you well know, Kwamis can't use their powers without a Holder to help focus their energy because Kwamis are raw power without a holder to help" he says to him in his mind *If a Kwami uses their powers without a holder to focus their energy, it spells destruction for everyone around them* as he pauses for a bit and then continues *But what happened here was as if it was the destructive power of a Kwami, but completely focused as if it were a holder was controlling that power* he finished off with.
After his talk with his Kwami, Eric receives a signal from Bat-drone 1 as he takes out a small hand held device that leads to a room and soon discovers that it is a secret door as he opens it and Bat-drone 1 flies out of the door and he receives an update of its search patterns and finds out its one of the secret passages within the Temple that is used if the Temple had to be abandoned or used in an emergency and it could possibly mean that their are surviors, but by the look of the remains of the temple, it was highly doubtful that it was only 1 survivor and continues with his investigation, in till he reaches a room that has the mark of the Guardians, it was likely the meeting area for Senior Guardian meetings as he entered the room.
*Eric, I sense a mixture of Magical Energy in here* Sunarr said to him.
*What Kind?* Eric replied back.
*3 different kinds, 1 consisting of a low powered Destructive energy, 1 consisting of Teleportation Magic, and 1 consisting of...Oh No* he said with a concern in his voice.
*What is it Sunarr* his owner said as Sunarr replies back *Its consistent of the Guardian Transfer Spell, the spell that transfers a Miracle Box to a new Guardian*.
*Which means? Before the attacker attacked this area, the Miracle Boxes that were protected by Guardians transfered Guardianship to their replacements and the Teleportation spell sent those Miracle Boxes to their new Caretakers, in which means Jessica!* he said as he receives a signal from Bat-done 2 and heads back outside and heads to the location of bat-drone 2 which is waiting at high cliff edge and Eric uses his grapple hook and is pulled up to the cliff edge and asks the drone what its detecting and sends its data to him as he looks at the small screen and notices a residual themal pattern, which could only mean someone was standing here watching the attack happen, as he recalls all bat-drones back to the Batwing and prepares to leave and head back to America because their was nothing more he could do now but to prepare for a possible war.
-One Month Later at the Penthouse-
After dinner with her parents was over, Marinette decides to open the package she has gotten from her mother and what came out of it was none other then Master Su-Han's cell phone.
"In the last letter I got from Master Su-Han after he returned to the Temple, he mentions something about making changes that the Grandmaster of the Guardians was implementing to make sure that if the Guardians of the Miraculous were to fall again, they stay fallen, so let me put this in words that Su-Han said or Master Fu would put it 'In order for Children to Grow, They must Learn to fend for Themselves' in other words, if I use my Miraculous Ladybugs to restore everything that has happened, it would not restore the Guardians like last time, meaning they are gone for good" she said.
As everyone in the room, including the Kwamis fell silent after what Marinette just said to everyone, up in till someone broke the silence.
"Alright!, So what are we going to do?" Nino said to everyone.
"Right now, Their's nothing we can do, because I need time to think" Marinette said to everyone there.
"Didn't Su-Han say that he took an image of the attacker?" Alya announcd it to everyone.
As Marinette picked up the phone off the coffee table and opened the photo app. and saw the image, it was a little blury, but clear enough for Marinette to see a resemblance to her kitty and remebered the disription Master Su-Han gave as she starts developing a panic attack, "No, nononono, it can't be" as she drops the phone as if it were burning her hand and when everyone saw this including Adrien and picks up the phone and saw the image on it and immediately goes to his lady's side and starts talking to her to try and calm her down.
"Marinette, Listen to the sound of my voice and breathe, I'm right here, I am right beside you, I been right beside you this whole time, that image you saw, its not me okay, Now look at me and breathe and come back to me my Ladybug" he says to her as she hears Adrien's voice and 'His' voice inside her head 'Our Love did This' and Adrien's voice manages to over power 'His' voice as she starts coming out of her panic attack and starts to breathe normaly again and grabs Adrien's hand and Adrien says "Welcome Back M'lady" as the phone was being picked up by Alya and saw the image on it and felt a cold shiver down her spine and showed it to Nino and Trixx asked her holder if he and the other Kwamis could see it, most of the Kwamis were shocked by the image of the attacker's resemblance, all except for one, a certain dark blue colored Peafowl who was actually shocked to see it again and was also hoping to 'NEVER' see it again also and was hoping that the other Kwamis wouldn't take notice of Dusuu's shocked expression, but one did, a certain red kwami by the name of Tikki.
As Adrien was calming down Marinette, he noticed Alya shiver for split second and said "You knew, didn't you Alya?" he asked her.
As Alya looked at Adrien with a little shock on her face and she just sighed and said to her friend "I knew 'something' was still bothering her back then and figured it may have something to do with you, well Cat Noir you that is, but I didn't dig into it any futher, because I always wondered why Marinette or should I say Ladybug was keeping her best partner at arms length from time to time when she told me that she was Ladybug after the whole 'Gang of Secrets' thing, she was 'REALLY' at her low point back then Adrien and she couldn't tell you due to the whole 'Identity' thing, so I figured I'll let be when she is ready to tell me" she said to him
As Adrien took Alya's words into thought and figured that she was right, he knew his lady can be a little stubborn when comes to their identities as the holders of the 2 most powerful Miraculouses as he goes to his lady's side and says "M'lady, I think its time to tell them about what you told me during our month long trip" as she looks up at him and says.
"N...not just Alya and Nino" as she tried to form words after her panic attack "Bu...but the Whole Team as well" she finished off with.
"But we will tell the rest of the Team later when the time comes, but right now, Alya and Nino needs to know this or else it will hinder my actions as Team Leader" she said and continues.
"Alya! Do you remember the Beret I made for Adrien as a gift for his Fifth Name Day?" she says to everyone in the room.
"Yeah! You said that you weren't able to give it to him and took it back home" Alya said and she went all wide eyes as she figured it out and said "You Didn't" she finished off with.
"By the look on your face, you figured it out" Marinette said and continued "Yes, I did delivered it, but I transformed to Ladybug do it and went through the opened window into Adrien's room and I didn't leave at first" she finished off with.
"You didn't?" and this came from Nino.
"No, of course she didn't, Think about who were talking to Nino" Alya said and continued "Were talking to Marinette Dupian-Cheng, The Girl who was in Love Sunshine over here, she couldn't help but to at least walk around his bedroom touching everything she can touch" she finished off with.
As Marinette attempted to smile, she couldn't due to the tomato like skin color that she developed and managed to say something "I couldn't help myself...I was fascinated by your Bed...I III MEAN your Broom I mean your Vroom, I mean your Bedroom" she said and wishing Plagg would just use his power right now on her to end this day.
"So! You were interested in my bed back then huh" as Adrien joked about as Marinette made a slight 'Eeep' sound and shook the thought out of her head and said "Can we PLEASE get back on topic here and address the Elephant in the Room situation".
"Okay, okay okay" as Adrien said to her.
"Okay now! Yes as Alya said I didn't leave the room at first, but before I did, I left my name on Adrien's gift and then left, Adrien must've saw me leaving his bedroom with me not noticing he entered the room and as I was making my way back to you and the rest of the girls and that's when Bunnix's Burrow made an appearance in front of me and Bunnix came out and asked me if everything was alright and she just drags me into the Burrow and you wouldn't believe how big that place was, I saw portals of various Timelines and I couldn't help but to take a peek, but she eventually stopped me before I notice something that might change the Timeline and she took me to this timeline where all of Paris was destroyed and underwater" Marinette said as she heard gasps from both Alya and Nino, but not from Adrien since he already knows the story.
"After I saw everything, I heard some singing coming from the roof I was on and turned to see where it was coming from and saw that it was Cat Noir, but he looked 'Different'" she said to them as Alya said something.
"What do you mean Different?" she said.
"He called himself Cat Blanc and he was completely white, as if someone took my kitty and threw him in the washing machine with an entire gallon of bleach" Marinette said and continued talking "The only differences were his skin and eyes, his skin was pale and his eyes were Ice blue and cold, it frightened me whenever I looked into them".
"Did you search for the Akumatized object?" Alya said to her.
"It was the first thing I did and asked him and he just grabbed my hand and placed it on his chest over where his heart is and said "Its right here, but its already broken" and the look on his face scared me so much that I pulled my hand away and and ran and he came after me and mentioned my identity as I looked behind me in shock of how he knew my identity and I lost my footing and landed on some debris and then I jumped into the water and saw 2 statues and as I got closer to them and saw that they were me and Hawkmoth or at least the Me and Hawkmoth of that Timeline and when I touched the statue of me, it disintegrated into dust and when I got out of the water and asked what happened to them and he said he didn't mean to do what he did and just got upset and said "You don't Love me anymore" and activated a Cataclysm that would have destroyed the entire planet, maybe the whole Galaxy and that's when I said I would hand over my Miraculous and he said "I'm no longer Cat Noir, I am Cat Blanc" after ringing his bell and I walked over to him, put my hand on his shoulders and grabbed the bell and broke it and freed him from the akuma and turned him back, but even if I fixed everything, it still wouldn't change the fact that he knew my Identity, so I had Bunnix take me back to the point I left my name on Adrien's gift and erased my name on it" she finished off with.
As Alya and Nino finished listening to her story in silence up in till that silence was broken by Nino as he said "But the one thing I can't figure out is, How could he exist now if he was wiped from the timeline?" as everybody looked to him "I seen the Back to the Future movies and usually when something changes in the past even 'SLIGHTLY' the Future is changed to, so how could Cat Blanc even exist if you changed the Past?" he finished off with.
"I don't know Nino, I really don't" Marinette said to her friend as she hears a tiny voice and she recgonizes it as Tikki.
"I think I can explain it" the little red Kwami said.
"You can Tikki?" Marinette said with a shocked expression.
"Well maybe not explain it, but I think I know who can, Dusuu" as she looked to the dark blue Peafowl of the Peacock Miraculous.
"And what makes you think I know something Tikki" she replied back.
"I saw your reaction to the image we saw on the phone Dusuu, so I know you know something and if it gives the Team a Fighting chance then you need to tell them what you know" Tikki said.
"She won't have to Tikki, I think I already know" Marinette said to her tiny friend and continued as she looked at the Peacock Kwami "Its a Senti-Monster, isn't it?" she finished off with and the peafowl nodded a reply.
"Gabriel called it a 'Sent-Monster of Last Resort" the tiny peafowl said to everyone in there.
"What do you mean by 'A Senti-Monster of Last Resort'?" Alya asked the dark blue peafowl.
"Hmm, How would I put this into words" as Dusuu was thinking of what to say to them, when all of sudden she figured it out and continued "Guardian, Do you remember when you and Cat Noir first encountered the Mega-Akumas?" she said.
"Yeah! it was during the Galette Fiasco where Tikki lost control and both my parents and Grandparents were reakumatized and Shadow Moth figured out how to destroy my Magical Charms and we discovered that the Akuma was bigger then the ones I purified before and figured, Wait, are you saying Dusuu that Shadow Moth was experimenting with your powers to at the same time also?" Marinette said.
"No, Gabriel didn't start experimenting with my powers in till 2 months before you 2 defeated him and the reason why he didn't do it before is because he didn't want to take the risk of damaging the Miraculous again since he didn't know how it became damaged in the first place" Dusuu said to the Guardian as everyone else heard what she said and Alya spoke up and said.
"Alright! So this Cat Blanc is a Senti-Monster, Okay all we need to do is get the object that contains the Amok or use the Peacock Miraculous and free the Amok and Bye Bye Senti-Blanc, right" she said.
"WRONG!" this came from Dussu and she continued "Didn't I say that Gabriel was 'EXPERIMENTING' with my powers, MEANING he figured out a way to create 3 Amoks and 1 Senti-monster, which means you need to get ahold of all 3 of the Amoks in order to defeat this Senti-monster. So even if you do use my Miraculous or destroy the object containing the Amok to purify the feather, the Senti-monster would still be active due to the other 2 Amoktized objects, but even destroying 1 Amoktized object would still be Dangerous" she finished off with someone else talking.
"Why do you say that?" Alya said.
"Because this Senti-monster would become independent without its controller" and this came from Marinette and she continued "Me and Cat Noir learned that the hard way when we first fought Mayura when she created Senti-Bug and Master Fu created Feast" as she looked towards Adrien knowing and remembering what she was talking about and continued to talk "Me and Cat Noir discovered that a Senti-monster, even if its been created can be Independent if they have control of their Amok, but they are still bounded to the rules of the Peacock Miraculous no matter what and having a Senti-monster that has 3 Amoks instead of just 1, is even more dangerous, 'ESPECIALLY' when that Senti-monster is in the shape of 1 Cat Noir and has the power to obliterate an entire Galaxy" she finished off with.
"Wait, hold on!, I just relized something here? Aren't Kwamis bound to keep their Holders identities a secret including whatever information the Holders tell them?" Nino said as everyone looked at him as he said this and then his Kwami spoke.
"Yes we are bound to keep our Holders Identities a secret and whatever other secrets they tell us, but only if they are still Holders that is" Wayzz said to his friend.
"What do you mean 'If'?" Alya asked as Tikki spoke.
"Well, there comes a time where the bond between Miraculous and Holders can no longer be holders due to special reasons and those reason are, 1. If the current Holder 'COMPLETELY' renounces the Miraculous, in which all of the Magical Resrictions placed on us becomes voided and we all know for a fact that Shadow Moth never did that after the final battle with him, 2. The Holder is Very Ill or near Death and the bonds between Miraculous and Holder become weakened, and 3. They are no longer part of this world, which means they died rather suddenly due to an accident or killed in action, like for example in your human wars or something as simple a car crash" Tikki said to them as they listened to her as Adrien checked to see what time it was and saw that it was almost 10:30pm and getting late.
"Listen, its getting late and we been talking about this since 9:30pm and its almost 10:30pm, what say we all try to get some sleep, Alya and Nino can take 1 of the Guest rooms for the night" he said to everyone.
"Thanks Adrien" Alya said.
"Yeah, thanks dude" and turns to Alya and says "You stay up here, while I'll go get our Emergency suitcase from the car" as Nino kisses Alya and heads on out the door.
While in their bedroom, Adrien comes walking out of their bathroom and looks to the bed and sees Marinette sitting up on the bed with her knees up to her chest and her head resting on them as he walks over to the bed and starts talking to her.
"Hey! Are you ok Bugaboo?" he says to her and snaps her out of her pause.
"I don't know kitty, I just don't know anymore, I thought my Nightmares of Cat Blanc was finally over with and then ALL OF A SUDDEN, this happens" as she looked at him with a scared look on her face and continued talking "And for once in my ENTIRE lifetime Kitty, I'm now even more Scared then ever" she finished off with.
"Hey!, We'll get through this, Like we always do" Adrien said to her while having his hand on her back while gently rubbing it up and down while all of the Kwamis except for Wayzz and Trixx were listening in.
"But what makes you so sure of that kitty?" Marinette said to him.
"Because this time you have me, Alya, and Nino by your side this time" he said to her and continued "And soon the rest of the Team to" he finished off with.
"And you have us to Ladybug" Tikki said
"Well!, Not everyone, Kagami is still in Tyoko for another month to complete the Transfer of Power of her mother's Company over to her" she said to him.
"And when that's finished, we'll tell her everything when she comes back, because didn't she say that she wants to take some time off before she begins to make arrangements to Transfer everything over to Paris, making Paris the new home office for all of TsurugiCo" her kitty said.
"Yeah" she said.
"Well then, there you have it" he said and continued "Now, lets try to get some sleep and we'll talk more about this in the morning and come up with a plan to tell the rest of the team about it" he finished off with and they both went to sleep with Adrien holding Marinette close to him.
-Next Morning-
As Adrien and Marinette continued to sleep in for a little bit and nothing could ruin that sleep in untill all sudden Adrien's phone began to vibrate on his nightstand as he growned and turned to check to see who it was and saw it was Natalie and answered it.
"Natalie! What's wrong?" he said causing Marinette to stir a little bit.
"Adrien, I'm sorry to have waken you, but I just been contacted by Warden Schroder. Its your Father Adrien! He's been Air Medivac to Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital" she said as he heard what Natalie said, as Adrien went all wide eyed at the news he just been told.
"Do you know why?" he said to her as Marinette lifted her head up and asked in a quite sleepy tone "mmmm, What's wrong Adrien?".
"Its Natalie, she says my father has been Air Medivaced to Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital, I was just asking her for the reason" he said to her as Marinette sat up on the bed waiting for him to reply back.
"Its Cancer Adrien, the Medical personal at the Prison just discovered it when the Prison Guards found him collapsed in his cell and they did some tests on him and discovered it was Pancreatic Cancer and the Medical facilities at the Prison aren't equipped for this ordeal" Natalie said over the phone and continued talking "The Warden tried calling you but couldn't get ahold of you for some reason?" she finished off with and Adrien said "Yeah, I forgot to give the Warden my new cell phone number" as he turns to Marinette and tells her the situation.
"She says its Pancreatic Cancer" he says to her with a gasp from her.
"And due to the Judge's regulations put on him when he was sentenced, 'If your father requires to be taken to a Medical Facility other then the Medical Wing at the Prison, Special Regulations and Restrictions at the Hospital must be put into Effect' meaning that the entire level that he is being taken to must be Evacuated of all Patients except for Medical Personal and Police Officers must be placed at ALL Entrances and Exits and Elevators on that level and Hospital Security must comply to with these Regulations and work along side with the Local Authorities" she said "And due to my own restrictions Adrien, I'm not allowed to have ANY contact with your father without the Direct Authorization of a Member of the Family in which would then have to be Cleared by the Judge, the Police Chief, and the Warden of the Prison your father is at if I wanted to visit him there" she finished off with.
"Thanks Natalie for letting me know" he says as he hangs up as Marinette puts hand on his shoulder.
"Do you want to talk about it kitty?" Marinette asked him as 2 Kwamis hover near them listening in on what's going on.
"No, Not really" he says to her.
"Are you sure?" she says to him.
"Didn't I say Not Really" he says to her in slight angry tone which cause her and the 2 red and black Kwamis to recoil a bit at the slight anger in his voice and he looks at her with a shocked look and says.
"I'm sorry Marinette, its just that I spent my whole life trying to make my father proud of me to only have it ripped apart after finding out that he was Shadow Moth this whole time and it took me 3 years to try to get my life back together and I 'FINALLY' succeeded in doing that, I got the girl of my dreams right beside me and getting married to her, my mother is at peace now, I have my friends at my side, I'm still rich" as Marinette snorts at that last comment "I can't let something like 'My father has Cancer' ruin this for me" as he finished and got up from the bed and puts his robe on and exited out the bedroom door and down the stairs as Marinette and the 2 Kwamis followed after him and sees both Nino and Alya at the kitchen table drinking a cup of coffee when Alya comes over and asks.
"Is everything okay?" she says as Nino looks at the both of them waiting for an answer as Marinette begins to talk.
"We just got a disturbing phone call from Natalie, Gabriel was found unconscience in his cell last night and has been taken to the Medical wing at the Prison where they did some tests and found out he has Cancer and then he was Air Medivac to the Hospital after being diagnosed and Adrien is taking it a little hard" she said to the both of them.
"Man, that's rough, first finding out his father is Shadow Moth and his mother's body was under his house the whole time, then the News we got about the Guardians and now this!" Nino said.
"I don't want to sound callous or anything, but this does corresponds to what Tikki just said yesterday about the bond between Miraculous and Holder weakening do to a serious Illness or Dying and I also heard from my sources back then that during Adrien's so-called exile, that he has never once visited his father in Prison, much less given him a phone call" Alya said to them.
"Really?" Marinette replied back.
"As serious as I am Rena Rouge" Alya said back to them.
(Sighs) "I knew Adrien has had issues with his father, but I didn't realize that they were this bad and Gabriel maybe be one of my LEAST favorite people in Paris after what he has done, but I would at 'least' thought Adrien would at least visit his father in prison and talk and ask why he did it and now this whole thing with finding out his father has Cancer" Marinette said as she looks out to the terrace and sees her kitty just standing out there while leaning over the railing looking over the still rising sun as the Kwamis also look towards the terrace.
"Can you really blame him for being upset Girl?, Adrien spent most of his entire life locked up in his own house with only Chloe as his friend and no one else and thinking his mother disappeared to only find out that she was right under his own house the entire time in some kind of coma to only have his mother slip away again for good this time only after 3 days of spending time with her before she passes and to find out that his father was the Big Bad Boogie Man of Paris, he's probably just afraid he might loose you to" Alya said to her.
"And your right, I am afraid to loose her" as they all turn to see Adrien coming back inside and then says "But I'm not gonna let something like my father being sick stop me from protecting the people I care about and plus we got a Bigger Fish to Fry and figuring out who found this Super Senti-Monster and deal with it, Once and for ALL" Adrien said to everyone in the room.
"Now there's my kitty" as everyone heard what Marinette said with a smile on her face.
"That's my kitten!, Baring those claws and ready to fight" Plagg said as he scarfs down a piece of Camembert.
"Okay so!, How did someone just all-of-sudden come across a hidden Senti-monster like this out of Nowhere?" Alya said.
As everyone thought about it and then opened their eyes and soon realized how it happened and Marinette was the one who spoke up first.
"The Butterfly Miraculous, it has to be" she said and continued "Somone must've found it" she finished off with.
"That's 1 possible theory, but we also can't rule out the possibility that the Senti-monster was found by some Stranger?" Alya said.
"True" Adrien said and conitued "But my father isn't stupid, he would have made sure that the Senti-monster would remain hidden and would have kept 1 of the 3 Amoks close by incase he needed to institute" as he paused as he just realized something and just started to smirk and laugh as everyone looked at him with confusion and he looked to Plagg and resumed talking "Plagg, Do you remember when we paid my aunt and cousin a visit?" as Adrien paused and waited for a reply from the little black kwami "Yeah" he said as Plagg began thinking as he realized what his kitten meant.
"Damn, You were right kid, this whole time, your hunch was right" as the little black Kwami said to his owner.
"What does Plagg mean Adrien?" Marinette said looking toward him.
"Remember when I went to London to visit my Aunt and Cousin" he said and she nodded a reply.
"Well, after I was taken to the guest room and waited to be called down for dinner, me and Plagg were discussing a few things about my cousin and about my father and I mentioned to him that what if my father had some plan of last resort" Adrien said to everyone.
"And I thought he was just over reacting, guess I was wrong and been proven wrong once or twice before in the past" Plagg said to them "I guess I'll never doubt my kitten again when it comes to his father" he finished off with.
"Well? What are we gonns do about it then" Nino said.
"I think its time that we get the Team back together" this came from Marinette as she went back upstairs and came back down with the Miracle Box in all of its red and Kwami spotted glory and all of the Kwamis came out of the Miracle Box and started floating all over the place, as for Nino, it was truly a sight to see all of them, but as for Alya and Adrien, it was Normal for them.
