Clarke and Octavia walked home from their night shift, the sound of music filtering down the street.
"Can I ask you a question?" Clarke broke the silence.
"Yeah, shoot."
"Your brother, he ever have an actual relationship?"
Octavia glanced over at her, before shaking her head.
"Not that I remember, they are always "Friends" " she added with air quotes.
"That's what I figured" Clarke replied.
"Why? what are the two of you?" Octavia inquired.
"Friends... with a few stolen kisses two weeks ago and nothing since"
"Well, if its any consolation, he's an idiot and no other girls have been around" she bumped her shoulder against Clarke's.
"Yeah, I guess that's something"
Octavia laughed.
"What?"
"It's more than something, I'm sure he's dying of sex withdrawal, he was a man whore until recently"
"That's not nice."
"No but it's true, you stopping at the party tonight?"
"Yeah, I'm just going to change quick" Clarke answered glancing at the crowd at Bellamy's on the way by.
"Me too, I'll see you in a few minutes"
Clarke opened her door and instantly regretted saying she was going. She started the shower hoping that would help motivate her. Once showered and changed she let the dogs out and headed over.
"Clarkey" Finn yelled when she walked in the door. She gave a small wave and moved through the crowd to Lincoln. He smiled handing her a drink.
"I've been holding this forever, Octavia said you would be right here"
"Thank you, Sorry, I had to shower" she took the drink from his hand, before moving onto the stool next to Octavia. The small island with stools has become their spot, away from the yelling, and smoking, and rowdiness.
"Hollywood, let's do shots" Dax smiled standing across the island from her.
"No thank you" she replied.
"C'mon just one, you might even like it" he pushed.
"I'm okay"
"You are more than okay, I'd take that fine ass an" he was cut off by a deep voice from behind her.
"You'll take your ass somewhere away from them." his voice was calm but held a certain authority to it.
"C'mon Bellamy, you can't tell me it would kill her to have a little fun" he threw his hands up before grabbing his bottle and heading in another direction. He reached over her setting his empty bottle on the counter.
He slowed by her ear.
"You look hot as fuck tonight." he whispered. He smiled seeing the blush cross her face.
"Its a sweater and leggings" she laughed, turning towards him.
"Doesn't matter what your wearing" he replied, his eyes met hers.
"Your not so bad yourself" She smiled giving him the obvious once over.
"You going to hang around until this is over?" he asked, his eyes hopeful. She shrugged.
"If not, you know where I live" he nodded taking in the house full of guests.
He leaned in close to her ear again.
"Try and wait up, I'll make it worth it" he sent her pulse skyrocketing. She nodded afraid to speak. His hand landed on her knee giving it a squeeze before he headed into the crowd.
"Yeah, I don't think you have anything to worry about" Octavia reassured her before finishing her drink.
Clarke yawned, stretching.
"None of that" Bellamy laughed coming up behind her.
"You can head up to my room if you want, I'm going to kick these last few out, I'll throw on a movie. I would down here but this floor needs to be cleaned first" he smiled nodding to the stairs. She slid off the stool stretching again and headed for the stairs. There were two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, she stepped into his room. A mix of dark blues and greens. She slipped her shoes off before sitting on his bed. After twenty minutes she laid back playing a game on her phone.
"Clarke, sorry it took so long" Bellamy called coming up the stairs. He turned into his room getting ready to ask what movie she wanted to watch only to find her asleep.
"Guess it will have to wait" he whispered. He pulled her phone off the bed and charged it on his nightstand before throwing a blanket over her. He sent a quick text to Lincoln telling him she was asleep before grabbing clothes and heading for the guest room.
When he woke up the next morning she was gone. He looked at his watch 10:30am flashed back at him. He sighed remembering the schedule said she opened the store today.
...
Clarke leaned on the counter, no one had come in yet, and she was thankful.
She woke up in Bellamy's bed, completely dressed and late for work. She literally finger brushed her hair as she hurried out the door directly to work. She hoped no one remembered she was wearing the same clothes last night.
She looked down at one of the catalogs they order out of for the store, and made little marks next to things she thought would sell. The bells ringing pulled her attention to the door.
There stood Bellamy showered, with two coffee's in hand. She felt self conscious knowing she didn't go home, didn't even brush her teeth. Lincoln let her know he had the dogs and that was her only concern then. Now everything else was running through her mind. He set the coffee in front of her.
"For the record you still look hot as fuck" he whispered.
"Thank you, why are you whispering, we are the only ones here." she asked bringing the cup to her lips. Her eyes followed him over the brim of the cup.
"So much for the movie, sorry it took me so long, Dax and Finn were determined to drink another hour away"
"Sorry I fell asleep, You could have sent me home, I feel bad taking your bed."
"Clarke you can rest assured, I had no intentions of sending you home at any point" he sent her a look as she walked into the back. As soon as she disappeared the bells signaled the door opened, Finn and Dax walked in.
"Blake, so Clarke huh?" Dax asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"I knew from the start" Finn laughed.
"We are just friends" Bellamy stated, Just as Clarke emerged from the back.
"So were you and Roma" Dax laughed.
"Speaking of Roma, she moved on quick, got a new man...Ernest...no, Emerson" Finn snapped his fingers as he though of it.
Clarke stepped up alongside Bellamy.
"Wh, what did you say his name was?" she spoke quietly.
"Emerson" Finn answered. Bellamy noticed a whole change in her demeanor. He was about to ask her what was wrong when the door opened again.
A man carrying flowers entered the shop.
"Hi, I have a delivery for a Miss Griffin" he slid the flowers on the counter, the second she saw the orchids she knew who it was from. Clarke stood,
"I'm sorry, No one by that name works here"
The man looked at his phone, the guys looking at her questioningly.
"A Clarke Griffin?" he asked
"Nope sorry, someone messed up the address" She answered smiling.
The second he left they all turned to her.
"Isn't that your name?" Dax asked
Bellamy motioned to the back and he went to the office.
"You two beat it, let me figure out what's going on"
"If you need our help let us know" Finn called before shutting the door.
