It's been a few days since Christina's outburst at Oliver. She was keeping herself busy with work but she missed Oliver terribly. The bell above the door tinkled and Oliver walked in. Her heart skipped a beat.
"I'm not here to badger you to tell me about what your outburst was about a few days ago."
She smirked at him. "Then what are you here for?"
"I bought a pet snake," he lied.
She shook her head. "I don't believe that one bit, Ollie."
He thought for a moment. "You caught me. I just wanted to talk to you. Are we still dating?"
"If I wanted to break up with you, I would've broken up with you."
He sighed in relief.
She ran a hand through her slightly messy blond hair with a sigh. "I didn't want to worry you before, especially after your amazing party."
"What is it? Is everything okay?" Oliver asked anxiously.
She sighed. "My ex-husband is stalking me."
"That git is stalking you!" Oliver shouted.
"He is," she sighed. "I'm going to meet with the police today since I don't need you to be my knight in shining armor as much as you want to be."
"I could ask Harry to help too."
She frowned. "I doubt he would help a muggle, Ollie."
"He's not prejudiced, Chrissy."
Before their discussion could continue the bell on the door tinkled again. This time it was a man clad in a police uniform.
"Are you Christina Finch-Fletchley?" he asked, holding a pad of paper and a pen.
"I am."
He turned to Oliver. "And who are you?"
"I'm her boyfriend, Oliver."
The officer nodded. "I'm Constable Rogers."
"Nice to meet you."
"You too, so you say your ex-husband is stalking you."

A few mornings later, Oliver was standing outside Harry's office in the auror department.
"Oh, hey Oliver," he greeted.
"Hey Harry, can we talk for a second?"
Harry nodded and escorted him into his office. Oliver started to pace in Harry's small office.
"Is this about Quidditch or what?"
"Christina, actually," he responded.
"That was my next guess, what's going on?"
"Her git of an ex husband is stalking her. I'm really worried about her. I mean she just talked to the muggle police a few mornings ago but I want some extra help."
"Does she know that you're doing this? I know if I did something like this behind Ginny's back she'd hex me to oblivion."
"I suggested it but she was worried that you'd be prejudiced against her since she's a muggle."
"That's understandable but I'm not."
"I told her that. She doesn't want me to be her knight in shining armor but I can't help it. I really love her."
Harry smiled. "I feel the same way about Ginny."
Oliver smiled back.
"This is the most serious I've seen you about something that's not Quidditch."
Oliver's smile widened. "Yeah, Chrissy and her daughter Effie mean a lot to me. I can see myself eventually marrying her."
"That's good. I've never seen you this serious about anyone."
After a few more minutes, Oliver left.
AN: I know this chapter is really short but it felt right to end it like this.
