(Camera flashes to Ichika's face then Cross-Z, then to Cross-Z jumping off a building and flying into battle. Scene changes to Cecilia taking aim with her rifle and firing off a shot)

(The shot passes Rin, who swings at the camera, Charlotte blocks incoming fire before firing back)

(Changes to Laura swinging her cannon and aiming before firing off a shot, the shot flies past Akatsu as she thrusts with her blade, under the helmet Houki let's out a tear.)

(Grease drops towards Cross-Z with her weapon at the ready, Cross-Z spins around and thrusts his blade at Grease, their weapons let out a shockwave of energy as the two steare each other down. Scene changes to Tajimi and Phantom Task behind her. Looming over all of them is a Mech hidden in Shadow, a beam charges up before firing at the screen.)

(Gentoku walks forward with Yamada behind him. Camera changes to an up close look at Gentoku up close, looking at one half of Gentoku's face is with a creepy smile. Camera switches to other side to see a dulled out Gen with purple crack veins creeping up his face. Stalk Revels in everything.)

(Sento Drives his bike before swerving to park as he looks over the ridge. Looking over a hill, Sento looks on at Hokuto's army. Stalk flies in with new armor covering her.)

(Camera flies past the cast in different poses looking at the camera M's face shows anger, as camera changes to Sento also with a serious face, before Chifuyu drops in besides Sento. Sento and Chifuyu reach out to each other, but a shadow creeps up Sento's hand. Sento brings his hand close to his eye, the camera focuses on his eyes to see a shadow in both eyes.)

(Still focusing on the eye, appears an all black boots, hand, chest piece, then belt with a Red Trigger upon it. Then to Normal Build as his helmet folds out, the camera pans back to look down upon the entire cast. Camera changes to a Full Bottle being tossed before being paused in frame.)

Construct 84: Family Troubles

Sento:(splashed water on face) Ah~... Look. There's no beating around the bush here. We got our asses kicked, and Hong Kong's Harbor is fucked… And Rin seems to be dealing with some Family problems… What will happen in this construct!?(splashes water on face) Sigh~

We are Sento

I sit in a skyscraper, looking out across the city from what used to be a cafe. But the Cafe is long abandoned and the window that looks out across the city blown out, glass strewn across the ground. I sit at a table that has scorch marks from the missile flying across the table's surface. I silently look out across the city. Footsteps approach as I look behind to see Mao walking over.

Mao:(takes out Data pad) Hey, I've brought the report about the damages of the Harbor, as well as the scans of the Goliath.

Sento:(stands up) Thank you, I need to know what we've lost as well as potential ways to counter the Goliaths. Especially their oddly superb stealth capabilities.

Mao:(walks over to edge) That's good to hear… Hey, why are you watching the city from up here?

Sento:(reading report) I need the space. It adds… Perspective to my work. It reminds me why I'm stepping in at all to help.

Mao:(crosses arms) Well, you should know. Not a lot of people appreciate that sentiment. Especially in Japan right now.

Sento:(stops reading) Their saying it's our faults?

Mao:(shrugs) Dunno, I've heard that being the topic of a few. But many are just suppressed anger against the Government showing.(looks at Sento) That may change.

"I figured." I said going back to read the report. "..." Mao goes silent, I look up from my reading to see Mao looking around for someone. "Huh." She muttered looking around. "Looking for someone?" I asked, Mao turned to me. "Yeah, seen Rin at all?" Mao asks, I look back down at the report.

Sento: If you're looking for Rin, she's helping out down at the hospital, helping the wounded and refugees. She also met her father Lingyin Chang.

Mao:(nods) I see. Then I have another question.(turns to Sento) I what can you gleam from the Goliath's Performance?

Sento:(reading) Generally, besides the high performance, and the Surprising ability to sneak despite the large armor.(long breath) Not much… I was busy with Pill, so unless we were somehow able to get a Goliath Armor, I can't do much to counter it.

Mao:(nods) I see… Let's hope we get that chance soon.

We are Rin

In the Hospital near the beach, I help open up a large crate of supplies for workers to get their supplies. Taking out the smaller boxes I had them off to staff to bring inside. "Thanks again for helping us." A Nurse said to me. I smiled and nodded. "With how crazy things are, better to help than not at all right?" I said, the Nurse nods taking the box inside. I grab a larger box and take it inside. After taking the box inside, I glance over at the public area, where my Dad is helping in the kitchen. I place down the box and deactivate my IS and I walk into the kitchen. My Dad is next to the stove, cooking with a large pot of soup.

Rin:(looks at Dad) Hey, Dad. How are you doing?

Chang:(looks at Rin) Oh, hello Huang… How is the kid from earlier doing?

Rin:(leans against counter) Good, thankfully. The Doctor said that he's going to recover.

Chang:(smiles) Good. I'm glad she's alright.

I look over at what my Dad is cooking. That dish… I look back up at Dad. "Hey Dad? Have you… Talked to Mom at all?" I asked, Dad's hands stop as he takes the wooden spatula out of the pot and places it on the counter. "Yes… We have... She… She hasn't changed her mind." Dad said. Oh, I see… Dad chuckles picking up the spatula and continuing to cook. "But, last I heard she was safe. Maybe she is even on her way here." Dad said with optimism. I look at the ground remembering the fight that caused the divorce.

The fight happened around the time when I became China's IS representative. When I had returned home, I could hear my parents shouting from within the kitchen. This had been going on ever since information of China's dark actions were leaked, as well as details of China's mass funding of their military compared to the care for themselves and how it affected their daily lives. Tensions were rising as people realised how little their Country cared for their people, it divided states, cities, towns, communities, families… My family was one of them.

Chang: How can you stand by a country that uses us like cattle to protect themselves! This is why we should have stayed in Japan!

Mother: This is our home country! This land has been ours for years!

Chang: That's not the point! You and your brother are just denying the reality around you! We're tools for the Government!

Mother: I...I just want to be Stable! I just want to have an easy stable life with a family! Is that so hard to ask for! If it means I need to swallow a few dark truths and you can't! Then you can just GO!

Chang: Fine!(pulls off ring) But when this Country Crumbles! I won't be there to help you!(tosses ring down) Here! Have your Ring Back! We are DONE!

Chang:(puts pot on counter) I was surprised when you called me out of the blue, asking how I was doing.

Rin:(grabbing plates) Well… Like I explained, my Sensei thought that it would be good to at least try and reconnect…(looks at Chang) Even if you and Mom are divorced… You're still my parents.

Chang:(smiles) I'm glad you still think that.(hugs Rin) This time also gave me a chance to think…(steps back) I understand what your mother meant.

Rin: What do you mean?

Chang: It was pretty obvious in hindsight. It's-

An explosion rings from outside, we look in the direction of the blast. I ran to the entrance of the hospital, seeing a Goliath walking towards the hospital. "Everyone stay back! Have the staff ready everyone to leave!" I tell the Doctors and Nurses, they rush to help everyone they can, as I activate my IS. "Dad! You need to get out of here!" I tell him as I exit the Hospital and out into the yard. "Huang! Stay safe!" I hear my Dad wish me, as my armor finishes materializing. Taking out my blade I look at the Goliath… What's it doing here? Who's it after? The hospital, someone inside the hospital? The Goliath looks at me.

Goliath: TARGET DETECTED, ENGAGING.

Rin: Oh… Well that answers that question.(points cannons) Come on!

We are Observer

Watching off in the distance Arachnid watches. "Hmm… I was hoping that I would catch Build." Arachnid said watching, it's then a message arrives on Arachnid's HUD. "Hmm? A direct message? ...Hmm? "I can see you?" The message location is… Hmm?" Arachnid looks off in the distance to see standing in a tall highrise building. Arachnid opens a camera and zooms in on the building, their standing in the frame of a window is Sento. "Senpai..." Arachnid said, before jumping towards the building. As she jumps, spider arms deploy out as she climbs across the buildings and up the high rise.

We are Sento

Arachnid climbs up to my current floor. "You know that attack was for you, you know?" Arachnid said, removing the Full Bottle from her Steam gun and returning to normal. "Was that distraction intentional?" Arachnid said walking over to me. I cross my arms letting out a sigh.

Sento: No, the fact that Rin was there was not something I had calculated. Rather, I'd hope you would have brought the Goliath with you.

Arachnid:(looking around) I can see why. This place is abandoned, large, and plenty of spaces to split me off from the Goliath…(turns to Sento) Unfortunate that your Student has to handle that.

Sento:(turns to Arachnid) Maybe, but I know her. Even if she can't take on the Goliath headon, she'll find a way to beat it.(crosses arms) Despite her lack of ability to strategize, she acts on her feet and knows how to turn an environment to her advantage. I trust her. Especially with the little Toy I sent her way!

Arachnid:(serious face) So… You really do trust her… Your student that much?

Sento:(smiles) The students I have taught have shown a level of… Will that push them high above what they would normally do!

Arachnid's arms droops as she puts on a more serious face. "... There's more to this talk… Right?" Arachnid asks me. I put on a serious face too, as I lower my arms. "I… I need to know about myself." I said looking back out over the city.

Sento: I… I thought I had put this thought behind me but…(looks at Arachnid) I need to know. Why I did this. I have my theories, creating technology to ensure others don't cause more trouble after… But, you seem to know more of who I used to be… I need to know. Do you know why I committed to doing…(looks behind) All of this?

Arachnid: It's… Well, to be honest. I don't know. You would always be vague about what you wanted to do with this technology. Whenever I tried to look deeper, you would tell me that it would put me in great danger if I looked deeper. Not just me, but the rest of the world as well.

Sento: Rest of the world?(looks at ground) What kind of secret did I discover about Pandora's Box?

Arachnid: I don't know. The most of what I got was that it was related to the Mars Civilisation and its destruction.

Sento: A Doomsday prediction? But… Why didn't he… I… Guess nobody would have believed in him then I guess… Well, it's a secret that died with him, because I can't remember.

Arachnid: Yes… (smiles) Heh, it's funny. I'm usually the one with the deadly secretes.(looks at Steam Gun) Funny how things turned out.

Sento:(looks at Arachnid) So there's more to you… What… Was our relationship? And how did you come to know me?

"I'm sorry Senpai, but..." Arachnid said lifting up her Steam gun with her bottle in her hand. "If you want the answer to that. You must fight me." She said inserting the bottle into the gun. "Choketsu." She muttered. Must we?... I let out a sigh of disappointment as I strap on my belt and take out the bottle pair that I will battle with. "Henshin." I muttered. Arachnid and I stare each other down. "Spider! Fire!" The Steamgun exclaims. "RabbitTank! Yay~!" My belt exclaims, we continue to stare each other down.

Build: Do we really have to fight?

Arachnid: Yes we do. Nothing in life ever comes easy.

Build:(sighs) I suppose I did ask for this. Let's dance!

Arachnid takes out her blade. "With pleasure." She said, as I took out my blade. We lunge at each other. Our blades clash.

We are Rin

I open fire on the Goliath, the Goliath's shields block that blast. I over charged the shields before, but the suit was still able to move on it's own… The Goliath puts out it's left hand, as a cannon shifts out of the arm. I need to somehow power this thing down. I launch into the air to dodge the beam. The Goliath fires, the beam flies past me and hits a building, causing rubble to fall form it. "Whaa~!" I hear, looking over I see a woman hunkering down. I fly in narrowly grabbing the woman and flying her up into the air. "Are you- Mom?!" I exclaim looking at the woman.

Mom: Huang?! Oh thank god you're okay!

Rin:(surprised) I'm happy to see you too but-(dodges shot) Let's save pleasantries till after I beat this thing!(looking around) But I need a safe place too… Ah! Dad!

Mom:(looks down) Chang?

Chang: Jun?! What are- Huang! Look out!

I narrowly dodge a beam as I fly over to my Dad, dropping my Mom into her arms. "You two get clear go!" I exclaim, flying back up into the air. I begin dodging the Goliath's attacks. It's shields are strong, as well as it's armor. Something like… Something like… I look down at the ground to see military forces hauling in an EMP Cannon! "An electromagnetic pulse! Of course!" I exclaim flying down to the soldier.

Rin:(lands on the ground) Excuse me, is this cannon still operational?

Soldier:(looks at Rin) What- Well yes. But it's heavily damaged, it's likely to explode.

Rin:(nods) I see… But I can still fire right?

Soldier:(looks at Cannon) Well… Yes… Wait, why?

Rin:(chuckles) Well, you see I need to use the EMP Cannon on someone.

The Soldier's eyebrow raises with an expression that's just asking 'Why?' Just then an explosion goes off behind me as the Goliath Approaches. "TARGET RE-ACQUIRED." The Goliath said, without even looking, I pointed behind me. "That. That's why I need it." I said blankly… "Keep it distracted and we'll get it ready for you." The Soldier asks me. I launch up into the air facing the Goliath. The Goliath's shoulder armor shifts as missile ports appear. "ENGAGING." Goliath said, firing it's missiles at me. I blast my cannons at the missiles in a sweeping motion taking out the missiles.

Rin:(looks back down) Well, hurry up! I don't know how long I can hold this thing off on my own!

Soldier:(turns around to crew) You heard the lady! Hurry and power this thing up!

Crew: Sir!

I fly at the Goliath, the Goliath brings up it's right arm to grab me, when I fly under and through the wide open legs. But just before I fly though, the Right arm quickly grabs me. "What?!" I exclaim as I'm slammed into the ground then thrown into a wall of a building. Wh-What the hell?! How is this so fast? How did they react like that? A computer is fast, but a maneuver like that requires prediction… No… That was more like a reaction rather than a computer predicting my path. I look at the Goliath as I see it switch it's left hand from a cannon into a blade. How many weapons does this thing have?! I pull myself out of the wall, dodging to the side, as the blade of the Goliath stabs the wall beside me. I once again fly up into the air to make some distance.

Rin:(looking at Goliath) You may have guns! But I have the sky- I really shouldn't have said that…

Goliath: ENGAGING JUMP JETS!

Rin:(sweatdrop) Ahh~... I called it.

The back of the Goliath's jets open out, the jets power up. I see the Goliath slowly lift up, before it kneels down. I fly higher as it jumps into the air and at me. I move to the side as the Goliath crashes into the side of a building, using it to jump off at me, to which I dodge again. This continues as I climb higher and higher. The Goliath also fires at me, I do my best to dodge with all the projectiles and dodging the hulking mass of armor.

Soldier:(over comm) Mam! The weapon is charged and ready for you to use!

Rin:(nods) Great!

Soldier: Yes, but the engineers told me that it will only last a single shot, so you only have one chance!

Rin:(looks at Goliath) You-(dodges) Leave that to me!

I hang up the call as I look at the Goliath. I need to get this thing on the ground… But how? There's got to be some way I can get it on the ground and trap- I fly past the roof of the skyscrapers, seeing a large Radio tower atop one. That's it! The Goliath begins to hover, slowly floating towards me. It shifted all of it's weapons to its projectile weapons. What? Doesn't it have bea- Oh! I see, it may be powerful, but only on the ground!

Rin:(dodges shots) So you may be powerful on the ground, but in the air you only have your projectiles and melee!

Goliath: ELMITATE TARGET!

Rin:(grains) And people call me a One track Mind!(puts blades together) Try this!

I swing, throwing my blades at the Goliath, it shifts it's thrusters to the side dodging. Now! I fly straight above the Goliath charging my cannons. "Eat this!" I shout, blasting the Goliath, the shot sends the Goliath flying towards the ground. The jets send the Goliath bouncing off buildings as it crashes face first into the ground. I quickly fly over to my blades, grabbing them and then flying up to the Radio tower. Cutting the supports, I fly around and push against the Radio tower. The tower tips over the edge and down to the ground. "CLEAR THE AREA!" I shout, everyone near the Goliath gets clear, as I push the tower directing it to the Goliaht.

Goliath: T-T-TARGET… CAN NOT LOCATE.

Rin:(Flying down) RADIO TOWER DA~!

I push off from the tower as I fly away. The Tower crashes on top the Goliath, I land next to the soldiers. "Mam! Here!" The Soldier said pointing at the EMP Cannon. I fly over and pick it up, then to the crash site. I walk towards the site, looking at the cannon.

A two handed cannon, the handle leads down to a spiral energy reactor, ahead from it is two prongs parallel to each other with a handle on the left prong pointed out to the side.

The weapon is damaged and while still vibrating with energy, is also sparking. Just hold on long enough for me to make the shot. I look straight at the crash site. Now, is this thing still active? I wouldn't be surprised. The dust settles, as the Goliath comes into view. Still mostly intact, with only scratches and some bent and dented metal.

Goliath:(sparking) T-T-Targe-TTT LO-LO-LOCATED.

Rin:(sighs) Figures, your a hard nut to crack. I need to check something tho.(Dragon cannon shoots at Goliath) Hmm… Yup, still have your shields. Can't stop solid objects tho. And this!

I point the EMP cannon shooting the Goliath, the Goliath begins shaking as sparks fly out of the suit, then the lights on the suit deactivate and the Goliath collapses on the ground. Phew… That worked. "Good work. I like you, I should bring you to Sensei and he'll get you fix-" Then the EMP cannon begins to violently shake as energy builds up. "Nevermind!" I shout, throwing the cannon at the Goliath and hunkering down. The cannon explodes…

Rin: Annnnd… There goes the cannon…

Cheng and Jun:(running over) Huang!

Rin: Mom? Dad?(hugged)

Jun: Oh you had me so worried!

Cheng: I'm Glad you're safe.

"What is this?" I hear, I look over to see Yang walking over. I walk over to Yang and salute her. "Mam!" I exclaim, she gestures to me to be at ease. "Rin, Report. What happened?" Yang asks me.

Rin: Mam! The Goliath attacked the Hospital, but it was after me. So I attempted to move the Goliath away from Civilians while I attempted to evade the Goliath.

Yang:(crossed arms) To which you also used one of our Damaged prototypes? We had hoped to use that EMP cannon against any air forces that may engage the walls and you destroyed it!

Soldier:(walks over) Mam! If I may.

Yang:(sigh) Yes, Soldier? What is it?

Soldier:(lowers arm) Mam, if it weren't for her quick thinking, the possibility of casualties would have skyrocketed. With her use of the EMP cannon, we only have minor injuries.(looks at Goliath) As well as a Mostly intact Goliath.

Yang and I look over at the Goliath, still intact after the EMP Cannon exploded. That thing is made of Super Titanium or something? Yang looks at the suit, then back at me… Please don't kill me. Yang sighs, dropping her arms. "Good point. I suppose this is a good trade off. Well done." Yang tells me walking over to the Goliath. Whew… Dodged a bullet. I look over at my parents. "Wait… It still has some power!" I hear a soldier shout, as the Goliath's lights turn back on. It didn't shut down the whole system!? I ran over to my parents to stand in front of them. Yang readies her IS.

Goliath: P-PLEASE…

Yang and Rin: What?(look at each other)

Goliath: P-PLEASE… KILL… ME!(shuts down)

Rin:(shocked) Wh-Wh-

"What the hell?"
