Hello everyone, here is another chapter of the fic. So I decided to post the chapter today, because tomorrow I won't have time for it and maybe I won't be able to post it next week either. If I can't post next Sunday I'll try to post on Monday, but I can't guarantee anything. Anything, on Sunday, January 29th.
As for your questions, the team drama isn't even over yet, but I can assure you it won't last forever and I haven't even reached the plot I planned. But it will be worth it in the end.
And as for using "wave" instead of "nodding" it's simply a translation problem on my part. English is not my first language, so sometimes I make mistakes in translation. Anyway, thanks for the warning, I'll pay more attention to it and as soon as possible I'll correct it in the chapters already posted.

Konan let out a sigh as he entered the room where he saw a box of chocolate thrown on the floor with the Red-X eating some of them with the helmet placed on the table, however he was lit only by the television image. The thief had slightly pale skin with blue eyes and black hair, he continued eating before blinking and turning to see Konan standing there staring at him.
"…In my defense, I didn't steal anything today…I just pulled a prank." Declares the red X making the woman wave before crossing her arms.
"Of course, I am sure painting the flash museum with the hero himself inside bright pink is really quite funny, as well as the vulgar drawings you made on the sculptures and stuff there." Comments Konan dryly making X laugh rubbing his head.
"They didn't have vomit green..." Reveals the boy making the woman sigh rubbing her eyes.
"Honestly… What am I going to do with you?" Asks Konan making X laugh.
"Give me a new box of chocolates?" The boy jokes before Konan looks at him.
However, instead of focusing her gaze on the boy, her eyes widened before going to the television and turning up the volume.
"This is Cat Grant straight from Taipei, where the historic peace conference between the Southern Relasia and the Northern Relasia has completely gone downhill." Reveals a blonde woman before turning to a crowd of reporters who were surrounding a man and his various bodyguards before the camera focused on him. "As a last resort, Minister Tseng of the Southern Relay and General Singh Man Li of the Northern Relay have agreed to bring in an independent mediator, but who will that mediator be? Speculations say it could be Superman on behalf of the United Nations."
Upon hearing this, both Konan and the Red-X stare at each other for a few seconds already weighing the pros and cons of the decision before returning their focus to the newspaper.
"The mediator just arrived." Declares the woman when a limousine appears escorted by several police motorcycles before stopping in front of the building.
However, a red arrow appeared flying in the image heading towards something off camera, which startled the people present before an explosion occurred, causing people to scream and run as security removed their weapons and began to escort their ministers away.
With that, Cheshire appeared running over the people before starting to fight with the security guards, knocking everyone out, suddenly she pulls two sai and cuts what looked like a net that came out of the tip of an arrow. However, after that, she was grabbed by what appeared to be the red archer disguised as a security guard who made both of them roll before they stopped with her straddling him, whereupon the security guards appeared aiming their weapons directly at the woman.
Konan narrowed his eyes at this before widening them, as did the Red-X, who choked on his chocolate, as they saw Lex Luthor stepping out of the limo revealing that he was the mediator.
"X, pack your things, we are going to Taipei now." Konan declares, moving away from the boy who nodded before grabbing his helmet.
(Scene break.)
Superboy was kneeling in front of a motorcycle tinkering with some tools, a frown adorning his face thinking about his brother and the last mission. He could not remember much but he knew something happened; Naruto was nowhere near them when they got back and his teammates were clearly avoiding the Superman clone's questions.
However before he could continue his thoughts, Superboy felt something slam into his back and turned around to see a mechanical sphere with what looked like some red technology with sparkles on the sides flashing several times.
"What's it? Are you jealous?" Asks Superboy making the ball spin before hitting him again, which makes the boy, laugh in amusement.
"Who's ready for school?" Asks Megan flying to Superboy and the sphere smiling brightly holding a bag while behind her came Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado and Aqualad. "I made our snacks."
"The first day of the academic season carries great cultural resonance and we wanted to wish you both a good day." Explains the Martian Manhunter before stopping in front of the two, which makes Superboy look at him strangely before looking at Megan.
"What about Naruto?" Asks Superboy making her freeze for a moment before smiling at him.
"Naruto will meet us there, I think he went earlier."
(With Naruto.)
"…I can't believe I was talked into doing this by a hologram." Naruto grumbles leaving the door of the tower of fate with a backpack on his back before the hologram reappears in front of the redhead holding a small bag and handing it to the boy.
"Don't forget your snack, have a nice day." With that, the hologram disappeared making Naruto stare at the empty space before floating away while muttering about stupid holograms.
(Back in Happy Harbor.)
"Maybe you want to change before you leave." Comments Aqualad a little uncomfortable, while the two heroes behind him showed no visible reaction.
"Oh! I almost forgot." Megan declares before her clothes change to her civilian version, however, her skin remained green. "What do you think? I spent hours choosing this outfit; does M'gann Morzz pass for an earthling now?"
Aqualad looked at her, who was staring at him with a very excited, almost childlike expression, he could not help raising his eyebrows and putting a nervous smile on his face thinking of what to say to her. "Good..."
"Just kidding." At that moment, the girl's skin lightened suddenly making the girl give a small bow to the three heroes, before turning to Superboy "Is this Megan Morse and what your new name is?"
At that question Superboy couldn't help but blink in surprise and slightly confused by it before frowning at the thought of Naruto, his name was given by Kent Nelson who fathered his brother in everything but blood, a bitter aftertaste appeared in your mouth remembering it.
"I chose the name John Jones for myself and suggested John Smith for Red Tornado; you can be a John too." Explains the alien before turning into a black man in a suit.
"Pass." Denies Superboy immediately making the alien and Aqualad blink in surprise.
"Well... I always liked Conner; it's my favorite name actually..." Comments Megan making Superboy stare at her before shrugging, clearly accepting the name.
"A last name is also required." Aqualad starts making the now called Conner wave while in his head the image of his brother appeared, as well as the Kent Nelson he barely interacted with him.
"Perhaps Kent?" Suggests the Martian Manhunter, however Conner sighed tiredly making everyone stare at him.
"Why are you still wasting time on this? My brother's name is Naruto Nelson, so I'm Conner Nelson, or do you guys have a problem with that?" Declares Conner making Martian Manhunter and Aqualad stutter while Red Tornado nodded.
Megan on the other hand had a guilty expression as she looked away biting her lip before smiling at Conner clapping her hands.
"Wonderful, so Conner Nelson, shouldn't you turn that shirt of yours over? Since you do not want to give away your secret identity." Comments Megan making Conner nod his head.
With that, the boy removes his shirt before turning it inside out and putting it on, after that he looked at Megan who was staring at him with wide eyes with a blush on her cheeks. Conner just raised his eyebrow before shrugging and grabbing one of the snacks she made and starting to walk away, seeing this Megan quickly runs after him.
"Batman won't like this..." Comments Aqualad getting a nod from Martian Manhunter; however, they notice Tornado moving away from them.
"And where are you going?" Questions the alien making the robot stop and turn to them.
"I have better and more important things to do than play conspiracy with you." With that, the robot walked away again, ignoring the heroes behind it.
(Scene break.)
"Aren't you going to ask me anything?" Questions Cheshire practicing fighting moves inside a cell while the red archer faced her with his arms crossed.
"You know what I want." Roy declares without changing his expression making the girl nod slightly.
"Really and you?" She confirms; however, she does not say anything else making the hero sigh.
"Who hired you?" Asks the archer making the woman smile maliciously.
"Shadows." Answers the woman; however, the archer does not seem impressed with the answer.
"And who hired them?"
"I do not know, I didn't ask." Declares the assassin, winking at the boy who let out a tired sigh.
"What is the point then? The peace conference or Luthor? I am really leaning towards helping you with Luthor." Declares the archer making Cheshire falter in his movement.
The assassin expected many things from a member of the league, or former member for that matter, and clearly, she would never expect to hear anything about murder. With that, the woman stopped training and turned to face the hero who was staring at her from the cell looking at her serious expression and his body language.
Meanwhile the Red Arrow was staring at her seriously without expressing any emotion with what he just said, which made the woman give a smile before raising two fingers.
"Two birds with one stone." Answers the woman before a mocking smile appears on her face and she relaxes her body. "Hey, where are those junior justice league friends of yours? They are always fun to play with, especially the archer, I like her."
"They are none of my business, but if you want to talk to any of them so much, I can call Ikarus." Comments the archer making the assassin widen her eyes before returning to her mocking expression from before, despite the nervousness on her face.
Roy could not help but smile in his head; it was common for word about a hero throwing villains to the ground to spread quickly and as the archer now had someone's number linked to Naruto, it made everything easier.
"I think you are right; it is none of my business either, but... I know something that is..." The woman begins before leaning against the railing and extending her hand to the archer, pulling him so that they both stay face to face with only the jail rail separating the two.
"Where is the Green Arrow? Is he out there?" The villain whispers in the hero's ear, which makes him, face her.
"No."
With that, the two approach a little before the woman bends down and holds on to the railing, which made the hero widen his eyes when the wall behind her exploded. The two coughed as smoke surrounded them and alarms rang, suddenly a rope descended in front of the hole as Deathstroke appeared there and glared at the assassin.
"Come." Orders the man before going back down the rope.
The Red Arrow watched in disbelief and fury as they managed to get away before running towards the railings and snarling at them.
"Damn, sounds like fun." Comments a voice behind the archer that made him turn around and see the red X walking to the cell with a key in his hand.
The criminal stuck it in the lock and turned it before opening the door while being watched by the hero.
"...What are you doing here?" Asks the hero feeling even more irritated.
"Opening the door for you? Won't you chase them?" Questions the thief making the hero growl at him.
"That doesn't change anything… and thank you."
With that, the Archer quickly jumped through the hole out of sight, leaving the red X there alone before the thief touched a button on the side of the mask.
"He left, time to see if your theory is right." Informs the red X before hearing a noise coming from the door and turning her head.
At that moment, several police officers break down the door with weapons in hand, however, to their confusion, the cell was completely empty.
With that, the archer quickly jumped through the hole out of sight, leaving the Red-X there alone before the thief touched a button on the side of the mask.

Naruto walked across the courtyard of the new school calmly wearing a black jacket with a gray shirt, jeans and boots while on his back he had a small backpack. The redhead let out a sigh looking at the people walking around him before noticing two familiar figures walking a little way from him; it was Megan and her brother.
Megan caught his gaze and seemed to want to talk to him before looking away from him, upon realizing this Naruto snorts before turning around and feeling someone bump into him and fall to the ground. The boy blinks in confusion before looking at a girl on the ground, probably the person he felt hitting him.
With that he looked at the girl, she had black hair and eyes with almost gray pale skin, she was wearing a blue sleeveless blouse, under a black coat, wearing a short black skirt, with two black fingerless gloves as accessories, around her neck was a necklace with a red jewel on it. She grunted before looking at the hand that the person who knocked her down offered, as she looked up to see Naruto staring at her in mild embarrassment.
"Sorry about that, it was not my intention to knock you down, let me help you." Laments Naruto before the girl accepts his hand and lifted from the ground, with that he quickly bends down to pick up her books before giving them to her.
"It's okay, accidents happen..." Guarantees the girl before shuddering noticing something, which made Naruto glance at what she realized and saw some girls looking at them mocking her.
"Anyway, what's your name? Mine is Naruto Nelson, nice to meet you." Naruto introduces himself smiling at the girl, which makes her eyes widen in surprise before clearing her throat.
"Rachel Roth, nice to meet you too." Waves the now known as Rachel.
At that moment, Naruto's enhanced hearing causes him to hear something tapping and an irritated snarl all too familiar to him. Hearing this, Naruto could not help but groan covering his eyes, which made Rachel raise her eyebrow at him.
"What is it?" Questions the girl looking at him making him face her before turning to see his brother holding someone by the back of his shirt.
"My brother is going to get into trouble, sorry about that, but I have to go now, see you in class?" Asks Naruto making Rachel blink in surprise and slightly confused.
"...Yes?" Answers Rachel clearly in shock, which makes Naruto smile at her.
"Excellent! See you later then." With that, Naruto runs to his brother while he takes a quick look at the girls who made fun of Rachel and he cannot help but smile noticing how they looked in shock with what happened.
(With Conner and Megan.)
Conner held a small boy in a helmet and glasses who looked at the Superboy clone in fear, the Kryptonian ignored this and focused his gaze on the symbol on his shirt before pointing at her.
"Explain this." commands Conner with a growl.
"W-what?" Questions the boy being held while trembling under Conner's gaze.
"HEY!" Calls a black boy with a Superman shirt with one arm over the shoulders of a girl in a cheerleader uniform, he separated from the girl and faced Conner completely towering over him. "Put my friend Marvin down."
"I-I don't think he likes my shirt…" stammers Marvin, looking between the two of them in fear before a hand grabs Conner's wrist and pins him to the ground.
Conner looked like he was going to snarl at the person, but froze when he saw Naruto standing there with a friendly smile on his face.
"Hey, you can let him go; the poor boy looks like he's having a fit." Comments Naruto making Conner face the boy in his hand before huffing and releasing him, with that done the redhead puts himself in front of his brother and looks at the guy who spoke to him.
"Hello, I am sorry for this misunderstanding, it won't happen again, my brother just wanted to know where...Marvin bought his shirt, right?" Naruto declares before looking at Conner who growls before looking at the shirts of the people around and then at his own brother's.
"His shirt is great, everyone's shirt is great…" growls Conner, trying to calm down.
"Someone here is great too..." Comments the cheerleader looking at Conner, seeing that the boy with her scowls and approaches Naruto, Conner and Megan.
Megan noticing this swallowed hard before breaking into a smile and turning to Marvin apologetically.
"Hi, sorry about that, we are new here, my name is Megan Morse and these are Naruto and Conner Nelson." Explains the girl before pointing to the brothers, which makes the redhead blink and look at his brother who has a little blush before looking away.
Naruto smirked before noticing the guy from before was glaring at him a little irritated, which left the redhead confused, had he done something to piss him off? His disguise was supposed to prevent others from recognizing him.
However before anything could happen someone snapped their fingers twice causing Naruto and the boy in front of him to turn to what looked like a teacher.
"Okay, it is time for you to go to the personal room."
With that, the boy in front of Naruto turned around, started walking towards him, and tapped him on the shoulder; however shortly after that he grunted and rubbed his arm before looking at the redhead who did not even move.
"Freak."
Hearing this, Naruto's cheerful expression changed to one without emotion as he glared at the boy and just smirked.
"Porcelain boy."
With that most of the students backed away as Naruto watched them, Conner looked like he was going to charge towards the boy, but the redhead put his arm in front of his brother, which made Megan stop in her tracks. The two brothers exchanged a look before the Superman clone sighed as he grumbled, at which Naruto smirked before glancing at Megan, making her eyes go more expressionless, which made her shudder.
With that, Naruto turned around only to see Rachel walking alone into the living room; this caused him to frown before running over to her, which made Conner and Megan blink in surprise.
"Hey Rachel, sorry I left, but here I am again, so what is your first class?" Questions Naruto walking beside her, which made her blink in surprise before starting to answer him.
Meanwhile Conner and Megan blinked at how easily the redhead fit in, with the Martian feeling an awkward grip watching him walk away before she and Superboy turned to see a couple of students approaching them.

Roy hated his luck sometimes, he was on the roof of an eastern temple as Cheshire and Deathstroke stared at him, the assassin waved a friendly wave at him before a Kunai pierced his shoulder. A scream of pain comes out of the red archer who looks at Deathstroke approaching him, with that, the hero pulls out the kunai and jumps into the water.
Seeing this Deathstroke approaches where the boy jumped and removed what looked like a simple sphere, with that he threw the sphere where the archer dived. The assassin waited a few seconds before the water exploded, after that Deathstroke turned and looked at Cheshire.
"Don't let your feelings interfere with the mission." Advises the master assassin making the woman blink in surprise.
"What? Feelings? I don't feel anything for him." Denies the girl, however the killer does not hear as he continues to walk away.
(Some time later.)
Across the river, the red archer came out of the water coughing before pressing his communicator to his ear.
"Hi, it is me again, maybe... I need a little help..." Comments Roy before turning off the communicator after a few seconds.
At the same time, the Gray bat and the Red-X stared at him from the trees before facing each other.

Naruto could not help but groan softly hiding his face at the end of his brother's question, almost revealing that he was a clone of an alien, he was going to have to talk to Conner later. However, he suddenly raised his hand and grabbed a ball of paper, which made Rachel, who was beside him, lift her head from her notebook and look at the redhead in surprise.
Seeing this, the redhead just threw the ball of paper from where he was, hitting the trash can, which made the students who saw it blink in amazement.
"...Thanks." Thanks Rachel making Naruto smile at her.
"You're welcome." The boy waves before looking at the girl who threw the ball of paper and narrowed her eyes at her, making her own eyes glow red quickly, which made her swallow hard and turn to the board.
"I already disliked you humans before, now I'm seeing more and more reasons to hate humanity..." Naruto thinks in his head with a frown. However, he soon casts a quick glance at the girl beside him before turning back to the teacher. "But why does she feel different from others?"
Unknown to him Rachel's eyes glowed purple momentarily, at which she stared at the redhead for a few moments, after which she returned to her notebook, she was drawing a crow.
(Back to Taipei.)
A woman wearing Chinese clothing and full face makeup walked across the conference room dragging a tray with an overpriced tea set, however as she approached the crowd, one of the people turned around revealing herself to be Aqualad.
"That's as far as you go, Cheshire." Aqualad declares turning around making the woman blink in surprise before throwing the cart, she was carrying, at the same time the Atlantian conjured a wall of water and an arrow hit the car causing a small explosion.
"Wow... that looked dangerous..." Comments a voice making everyone there turn to the top of one of the statues that had the red X standing there with what looked like a bomb on its side. "I'm glad I decided to be a lover of architecture and removed the bomb from there so it wouldn't explode, so what?"
"...I had forgotten you were here." The Red Arrow grumbles looking at the thief, which makes him waves to the hero friendly.
It was at that moment that a helicopter appeared in the window before Deathstroke and several other League of Shadow assassins appeared. At that, all the killers in the helicopter jumped into the room, removing their weapons, this made the thief jump from his place, shooting a rope at the ceiling to reach the floor.
At the same time, the Graybat jumped off the other statue and landed beside the thief, the two faced the assassins as the red archer and the Aqualad closed in on them.
At that moment, one of the leaders of the countries shouted something in their native language, ordering the security guards to run towards the assassins.
"Take Deathstroke, Cheshire is mine." Declares the archer pulling an arrow, however as soon as he put it he noticed that the sharp tip was replaced by a rose, which made the hero blink before he heard the sigh of the Graybat.
"X!" Exclaim both the Graybat and the archer as they turn to the shrugging thief.
"What? I'm just helping him get the date." Answers the thief before jumping on top of one of the assassins and kicking him in the back of the head.
"I like this one, but it is already our third date, so he might be territorial." Comments to Cheshire before advancing on the archer.
Seeing this Aqualad and Graybat run towards Deathstroke, who calmly faces them stepping on the neck of one of the security guards before a crack is heard and the man backs away from the body.
"Stay away or I will not be responsible for what will happen to you." Declares Deathstroke making the woman narrow her eyes while Aqualad advanced towards the villain.
The boy attacked with a slash of his water sword, however, the assassin dodged each of the blows before touching the middle of the Atlantean's chest, which caused him to gasp and fall to the ground gasping for air. Once he landed on the ground Deathstroke looked at the Atlantean scrutinizing him almost disappointedly before shaking his head.
"You have improved since your mission in Santa Prisca, Gotham and Bialya, but you are still not that good." Comments the assassin making the Atlantian's eyes widen while the Graybat's narrowed, staring at him. "Don't look at me like that; our internal source was very talkative."
With that, the killer took a step back when the Gray bat advanced on him with his leg raised, after which the two entered into a fight of several different styles, blocking and dodging blows.
Suddenly the woman took a step back and threw a kick, which made Deathstroke dodge several leaps back before landing in a crouch, which causes the woman to place herself in an upright and more relaxed position facing the assassin.
"You... you're not Slade Wilson, are you?" Questions Gray bat making Aqualad widen his eyes in surprise when he managed to stand up. "You brought other assassins with you, you let another assassin do your dirty work for you, you still haven't drawn any of your weapons, and that last move of yours is a gymnast, as far as I know Slade Wilson was never that good at gymnastics."
In response, Deathstroke fell silent before letting out a small chuckle.
"What if I don't? I am the new Deathstroke and honestly? I'm even more dangerous than Slade." Comments the killer before throwing a ball on the floor that released a lot of smoke in the room. "But make no mistake Graybat; everything will happen the way it should happen."
With that, the assassin went into the smoke until he disappeared, however she widened her eyes as she turned only for Deathstroke to punch her in the face, sending her to the ground. However, she was quick to get up and look around in a fighting stance, something that was copied by Aqualad.

Rachel was quietly drawing on the roof of the school while listening to music on her headphones, she seemed very entertained with what she was doing before an annoyed expression appeared on her face causing her to turn around and see the same girls from earlier staring at her.
"What's up Summer? Lost a boy up here?" Mocks Rachel making Summer narrow her eyes.
"I don't lose any guy, but you will lose yours." Summer declares walking towards Rachel almost parading before taking the sketchbook from the girl and looking at its contents with a frown. "Wow, here there are only crows, trees and Roman symbols, how bizarre, I don't think I'll have to try hard to get the new guy away from you, you can do it alone with your bizarre drawings."
Suddenly the notebook that was in Summer's hands is pulled away, causing both girls to turn to see Naruto standing there looking at the notebook with a curious expression.
"Rachel, I suspected you drew well, but this is unbelievable, I could have sworn there was a picture of a crow here." Comments Naruto in surprise before returning the notebook to the owner, who immediately hugged the notebook and looked away.
" ...Thanks." Hearing this, Naruto smiles before his expression goes blank and his gaze shifts to Summer.
"Can't you see you're getting in the way? Get out of here." Declares Naruto making the girl growl at him.
"How do you dare?" Starts Summer, however Naruto turns completely to her with an irritated face staring at her with his eyes blinked in red.
"Get out of here." Whispers Naruto making the girl shudder before running off with her friends.
Naruto watched them walk away until they left the roof, with that he turned to Rachel who was still staring at him in surprise. He suddenly sat down next to her and pulled a book out of his backpack, leaning against the wall and starting to read.
"Aren't you... going to leave now?" Questions Rachel making the redhead blink and stare at her confused.
"But I just arrived and we are friends, I thought it was common for friends to stay together during breaks." Comments Naruto wondering if the book he had read was wrong, that made Rachel's eyes widen.
"Are we… are we friends?"
"I guess so? At least that's how they explained it to me." Guarantees the boy making Rachel soften her expression before smiling at him nodding and going back to drawing.
Seeing this Naruto decided to go back to reading his book.
(...)
"Do you like chocolates? What type?" Asks the Red-X blocking a blow from Cheshire who raises an eyebrow at him confused.
"Are you... are you hitting on me? Moreover, what the hell are you doing fighting alongside the heroes? Are you not a villain?" Questions the assassin before dodging an arrow from the red archer.
"Me? No, I just want to help my friend win you over, I can feel the chemistry, and GB is my big sister figure and your last question? I did not want to clean up Nick's poop, so I thought helping out at a peace conference would be fun." Explains the Red-X ducking under a blow from another assassin before punching him in the chin and kicking him in the chest.
At that moment, the Red Arrow withdrew an arrow with a head made of a golden point with various inscriptions on them. With that, the archer fired the arrow causing it to split into several birds made of electricity that flew around before attacking the assassins shocking them and knocking them out.
Seeing this, Deathstroke grabs a blow from the Graybat before throwing it at Aqualad making them both fall to the ground, with that he runs to the hole in the window and jumps out of it, being quickly followed by Cheshire who stops in the hole and turns to the Red-X.
"And just for the record, I love dark chocolate." Declares the woman before jumping too, which made the thief nod.
"Not one of my favorites, but not too bad." He waves the Red-X before noticing that one of the assassins managed to withstand the shock and was running towards the two representatives of the countries, with the sword raised.
Lex Luthor also saw this and turned to his assistant, however, before he could say anything the Red-X appeared in front of them and threw a red shuriken at the ninja causing it to explode and tie him in some kind of red cloth.
"That's it, everyone's been taken care of and… Hi?" He greets the boy when he notices that the two representatives approached him gratefully, shaking his hands.
(Some time later.)
Graybat and Red Arrow watched idly as the two countries' representatives signed a peace treaty before turning to a clearly embarrassed red X rubbing his head while eating a chocolate bar.
"How do you feel having prevented a war?" Questions the Red Arrow dryly making the thief laugh.
"Nothing special, I just did what my former best friend would do."
Hearing that answer the Red Arrow raises his eyebrow before looking at the Graybat who was did not answer.
