(Camera flashes to Ichika's face then Cross-Z, then to Cross-Z jumping off a building and flying into battle. Scene changes to Cecilia taking aim with her rifle and firing off a shot)

(The shot passes Rin, who swings at the camera, Charlotte blocks incoming fire before firing back)

(Changes to Laura swinging her cannon and aiming before firing off a shot, the shot flies past Akatsu as she thrusts with her blade, under the helmet Houki let's out a tear.)

(Grease drops towards Cross-Z with her weapon at the ready, Cross-Z spins around and thrusts his blade at Grease, their weapons let out a shockwave of energy as the two steare each other down. Scene changes to Tajimi and Phantom Task behind her. Looming over all of them is a Mech hidden in Shadow, a beam charges up before firing at the screen.)

(Gentoku walks forward with Yamada behind him. Camera changes to an up close look at Gentoku up close, looking at one half of Gentoku's face is with a creepy smile. Camera switches to other side to see a dulled out Gen with purple crack veins creeping up his face. Stalk Revels in everything.)

(Sento Drives his bike before swerving to park as he looks over the ridge. Looking over a hill, Sento looks on at Hokuto's army. Stalk flies in with new armor covering her.)

(Camera flies past the cast in different poses looking at the camera M's face shows anger, as camera changes to Sento also with a serious face, before Chifuyu drops in besides Sento. Sento and Chifuyu reach out to each other, but a shadow creeps up Sento's hand. Sento brings his hand close to his eye, the camera focuses on his eyes to see a shadow in both eyes.)

(Still focusing on the eye, appears an all black boots, hand, chest piece, then belt with a Red Trigger upon it. Then to Normal Build as his helmet folds out, the camera pans back to look down upon the entire cast. Camera changes to a Full Bottle being tossed before being paused in frame.)

Construct 85: Goliath De-Construction

Sento: In the last Construct, Rin managed to defeat a Golaith and capture it. Now we hop to fight with Arachnid. I need answers, I need to know. Something, anything as to why I set myself on this path.

We are Sento

"NinNinComic! Yay!" I dash at Arachnid, as she and I jump around the empty skyscraper's open center. Jumping up and down floor to floor, across escalators, and bridges. As we jump at each other, we take swings at each other. Arachnid has much more 3-dimensional movement with her Spider legs… I press the trigger of my blade. "Duplication-Jutsu!" I split into copies and we chased after Arachnid. She may have more legs, but I have more helping Hands! Moving in unison, we quickly gather around Arachnid and jump at her. My copies grab on to Arachnid, only for a few of my copies to be knocked off, but recover and chase after Arachnid. The rest grab Arachnid and hold her down. "Get… OFF!" Arachnid said, swinging her spider legs out, knocking the copies off her. I charge in and jump at Arachnid, I slam into her as we fly into the floor we are on. I jump off and slide across the destroyed ground, I slowly get up as Arachnid does the same while putting away her spider legs.

Build:(stands up) Feel like answering my questions yet?

Arachnid:(standing up) Not by a longshot.(aims gun) You need a lot more than that to get an answer out of me!(opens fire)

Build:(deflects shots and dodge) You're really playing hard to get, huh?!

Arachnid charges at me, then deploys two of the spider legs and attacks me with them. I deflect the attacks as I'm pushed back. "I know you much you like it!" Arachnid said as I came closer and closer to the edge of the building. "Don't think you can escape even if you jump!" Arachnid said as we reached the edge of the floor. "I wouldn't dream of it." I said as Arachnid lunged closer to me, the arm hit me and I burst into smoke. "What?" Arachnid asks. "What made you think that was me?" I said walking up from behind, Arachnid turned her head as I kicked her out of the building. She flies out too far to grab the ledge with her spider legs. Arachnid fires a web to grab the ledge. I ran up to the web and put my blade to it. "Flame Jutsu! Blazing Sword!" The web burns away, only for Arachnid to spit out two more grabbing the sides of the window two floors below her. She sends herself flying into the floor below. Right, it's not that simple.

Mao:(over comm) Build! Looks like you could use a hand!

Build: Mao? Well, I would appreciate the help! Tell me what do you have on hand?

Mao:(flies up) Well, two squads of IS support ready to help out! How's that?

Build: That's… Yeah, I'll take it! Surround the Building and limit where Arachnid can go!

"You got it!" Mao said moving with her squad to box Arachnid in. I jump down to the floor that Arachnid's on, I land in front of Arachnid who has a web connected to the ceiling. "Going down!" Arachnid shouts pulling on the web, it causes the floor above to collapse, the rubble crashes into the floor below causing the ground under me to break. I begin to free fall, I look up to see Arachnid climbing up the rubble with her spider legs. I create a copy and I use it to throw me into the air, my copy changes back into smoke. I jump through the rubble and reach Arachnid. I point out my blade."Wind Jutsu! Tornado Giri!" Arachnid is caught up by the winds and blasted smashing against the roof of the floor above us. "Raaaah~!" I scream, kick, and knock Arachnid from the building. "Mao! Now!" I shout, Mao flies in with her IS squads following close behind.

Mao:(flies in) Everyone! Surround her!(aims guns) Don't think you can run Arachnid! It's no use!

Arachnid: Tch! I won't be caught so easily!(jumps)

Mao: What? Damn! Ren! Move!

"Huh?" I hear as I run up to the window sill, seeing Arachnid fire a web that sticks to the leg of an IS. She fires another at another IS pilot, both hitting their mark, Arachnid falls then is slowed. Everyone goes to aim their weapons, when Arachnid uses the webs as a slingshot again, launching herself into another IS pilot. Arachnid grabs the pilot and wraps her webs around her, then holds a spider leg to the pilots throat. "Nobody moves!" Arachnid exclaims. Now my chance! I jump off the side of the building and start falling, I quickly switch out a bottle. "Hawk! Comic!" The armor changes, sending a piece of paper flying up and sliding between Arachnid and the pilot. The paper then begins being painted in, showing my fist. "What?" Arachnid asks, when I throw my fist through the comic and punch Arachnid off of the Pilot. "Open fire!" Mao shouts all the IS's open fire on Arachnid, to which she quickly spins webs into a shield, using her legs to stretch out the web to cover more of her body. "Mind if I CUT in?" I shout, taking off my wings and throwing them at the spider legs. My wing blades slice clean though the spider legs, leaving Arachnid open to fire. Arachnid tries again to block only to be shot, then a grenade explodes in her face, sending her careening towards the ground. "Arachnid!" I shout, reattaching my wings and flying to her, grabbing her hand and halting her fall.

Build:(floats down) ...Had enough?...(sighs) Please tell me my old self had a thing for high maintenance girls, because I see no other reason why I would be with you…

Arachnid:(chuckles) You do have a thing for girls like that, huh?

Mao:(flies down) Okay, Love birds, break it up. Commander Yang and Rin have secured a Goliath. Now we just need to bring in the Ring Leader.

Build: … I get the feeling that it's not going to be as simple as just that.

"Yup." Arachnid said, I suddenly got movement on my radar. "Multiple targets, they are Hijacked IS's. Mao, you and your teams go intercept! I'll ensure Arachnid doesn't escape!" I said, Mao looks at the two of us then at the IS's beginning to approach. "Okay, don't lose her though! Everyone come on!" Mao said as her forces moved to intercept.

Build:(looks at Arachnid) There, they are gone… You weren't going to say anything if they were still around right?

Arachnid:(smiles) A good guess… So…(returns to normal) You get 3 questions.

Build:(brings Arachnid up to his face) How did you first come to meet me?

Arachnid: An assignment by my Government to Spy on Faust.

Build: So you are a spy… Which government? China?

Arachnid:(chuckles) Actually, America funnily enough. But that's your second question.

Build: Fine… Then…(helmet folds away) What is your name? Your real name.

Arachnid comes close and Whispers into my ear. "Adelle." She said, I then felt a metal barrel pressed against my chest. Shi- I'm shot point blank, as I'm forced to let go as Arachnid falls towards the ground. She uses her smoke gun to disappear into a cloud of smoke. Adelle… That's her name… Mao flies over and simply sighs in disappointment. "She's gone." Mao states, I silently float down to the ground. "Sento?" Mao asks me.

We are Rin… Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base

After the fight, the hospital was moved close to the Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base to better protect the civilians. I sit between my parents arguing between each other. I suppose I should have figured that they still haven't finished arguing. I watch as the two argue over what to do. I know they-

Jun: We need to leave, it's not safe here.

Cheng: Everywhere isn't safe! And we can't go anywhere!

Jun: Maybe there are still some boats that are coming!

Cheng: With harbor all but gone? No way! You need to see the bigger picture here! We just need to keep our heads down.

Jun:(points at Cheng) Oh that's Ironic coming from you! It was people like you that caused China to collapse in the first place!

Cheng: It was going with or without us!

I groan as I put my face in my hands. Someone help me! Just then Build, Mao and the 2nd and 5th IS reaction Squads return. "Build!" I exclaim getting up. Thank god! If anyone can help this situation it's Sensei! I ran past my parents and over to Sensei. "Welcome back, Sensei!" I greet you. Sento's helmet and folds away he looks at me then over towards my parents. "They're parents?" Sento asked, I silently nodded. "This is cause of the Divorce?" Sento asked again, to which I nodded again.

Build:(sighs) I see I came into quite the situation.(removes bottles) What to do…?

Mao:(looks at Sento) Maybe you should save that question for later. I've just been told that the Lab is ready and is beginning research into the Goliath.

Sento:(nods) Okay, then let's get moving.

As we walk towards the base when my parents come over to Mao. "Excuse me, I-" My Mom opens her mouth, when Sento comes in the way. "Hello!" Sento greets taking out a schedule time table. "My name is Kiryu Sento, I'm your daughter's Teacher and Counselor!" Sento begins as he looks though some data, my parents caught off guard.

Sento:(looking through data) It seems that you and you're former husband require some counseling. From what I can see, there will be plenty of time to talk in and around 4:30.(turns to Mao) Tell me, Mao is interrogation room 4 available around that time?

Mao:... Well… Yes(nods) that room should be free at that time.

Sento:(nods) Great! I'll need to borrow that room.(turns to Jun) Oh, don't worry. I won't do anything bad, but I just need a private space in which to talk. So, does 4:30 in interrogation room 4 sound good?

Jun: Wha… Uh… Sh-

Sento:(smiles) Wonderful, I'll see you and Mr Cheng in interrogation room 4! Come Rin, Mao the Goliath awaits!

We follow Sento into the Base and towards the lab. That shut them up… Total confusion...

We are Arachnid… Republic of Beijing FOB…

I walk through the halls of the base. Reaching the end of the hall, the door to a meeting room opens with Genming and Huian, along with the other command structure of the Tibet Federation. "Was such a detour really necessary?" Genming asks me looking at me, as I stand at the front of the room with everyone's eyes on me.

Huian:(looks at Arachnid) I agree with the Commander, we're giving them an advantage that they shouldn't have in the first place-(steps back) Mam.

Arachnid:(chuckles) Oh, I'm well aware of that. But, do not mistake this is a charity to the troops of Hong Kong. I simply wish to give them a sense of… "False Hope."

Genming: They are likely to try and take apart the Goliath. They will discover Goliath's secret.

Huian:(looks at Genming) "Goliath's secret," Sir? Is it that much of a threat? And what is it?

Arachnid:(looks at Huian) Huian… That's above your rank Soldier.

Huian pauses then looks down at the ground. "Apologies Mam, I'll forget I said it." Huian responds. She's like a Tool, she carries no will of her own. "Excellent, it's girls like you that make our Federation great." I said before turning my attention back everyone else in the room. "Now, as to why I want you all here." I said turning the screen on, taking out a data stick.

Arachnid:(inserts stick into computer) Genming, you are to send in a Goliath team to infiltrate the Beijing Capital, the leaders must be captured.(shows schematics on screen) Same with Sichuan and North Korea's leaders, then as to what happens to them next… Is all up to you.

Beijing official:(looks at Arachnid) Well, I feel that for now we must capture them. We can deal with them after we have unified all of China. After that, we can turn them over to… "Rehabilitation."

Huian:(in thought) Rehab? No… That's not for me to think.

Genming: Then what is our purpose here my lady?

Arachnid: Once the Republic of Beijing collapses, gather up the last invasion force and make a blockade around Hong Kong.(smiles) I want all of Hong Kong trapped in my web.

The Lab… We are Sento

We enter the lab seeing the Goliath hanged up. I approach the machine, I run my hand across the suit. Then I pull up my HUD, then I walk over to a Terminal. My HUD interfaces with the terminal. "Beginning deep scans… Let's see what's inside." I said, as two scanner pillars lower from the roof and begin to spin around the Goliath, scanning the hull.

Mao:(walked up to Sento) You know, I didn't think about this before because of how crazy things are right now but… I can't help but think this thing is a Terminator.

Rin:(looks at Mao) Wait, wasn't it that the human experiment project the Old China Government was developing in secret? It and many other inhumane acts were what caused China to fall.

Mao: Yeah, but what many got were simply reports with some witness accounts. You haven't seen the Terminator Project. Reading it is one thing, but seeing is believing with the Terminator project.

Sento:(sighs) The project itself, had human "Volunteers" being put into these suits. It's likely that these Goliath's are going to be built off the foundation of that previous pro- Odd…

Mao:(walks over) What? What is it?

Sento:(looks at Mao) This is weird, I'm sensing Brain Activity, but I'm not detecting any kind of pulse. No heartbeat, no body temperature, no biological mass… Besides the brain and the Spinal cord?

I look at the Goliath. They couldn't have… Could they? Would they break even more moral barriers to make this unit?... "Well, we are going to crack open this thing eventually, may as well see the horrors now, rather than hide from it." Mao said, I look at the Goliath and nod. "Fair enough." I said as I stood up, taking out an interface device, I placed it on the Goliath's forehead. I access the systems and begin the infiltration. I scan through the data stream, accessing the control systems I unlock for maintenance. I step back as the armor unlocks, the chest, ribs, and head move as the central pillar moves forwards. Cold steam hides the pillar, but as it comes into view everyone has one of three reactions, shock, speechless, or feinting.

Mao:(shocked) Oh… My… God.

Rin:(stumbles) Wh-What the hell?!

Sento:(clenches fist) Who… Who the hell came up with this idea?!

We are Huian

Huian:(looks at soldier) Lieutenant, have you seen Field Commander Genming?

Lieutenant:(points to building) I saw the commander entering the Engineering with Lady Arachnid to overlook the maintenance of the Goliaths.

Huian:(turns to building) Understood, thank you.

"Um… Mam?" The Lieutenant asks, I turn back to him. "Yes?" I ask, the Lieutenant looks over to Engineering. "Is there a reason why the bay is so deep underground?" The Lieutenant and I look at the building that houses Engineering. "I just don't see the reason why we have to bring the suits down several floors to maintain the armor." The Lieutenant said, to which I sigh at the comment. "Mam?" The Lieutenant asks.

Huian: It's because the Nebula Gas Energy cores. They could explode. Better underground than above ground right in our faces. It's the same with the Smashes, they're not as easily controlled then you or our armor. So it's safer underground where their exits are few.

Lieutenant:(nods) Okay… Apologies for bothering you mam.

Huian:(waves) It's fine. Dismissed.

The Lieutenant salutes me. "Mam!" The Lieutenant said walking away to continue his duty. I turn and walk to Engineering, I enter the building and over to the elevator at the end of the room. I call the elevator, after a few seconds of waiting the doors open and I walk into the elevator. I take out an ID Card and put it up against a scanner, before selecting the floor. Underground Level 4. The doors close as I go down the 4 levels, as I reach the bottom I ready the data pad I came to deliver. The doors open when I hear voices begin to talk.

Arachnid: So… How are we on our Goliath Conversion?

Genming: Quite well my Lady. I have to say, even though I thought they had reached the peak with the Terminator project integrating people into the system. Your new system makes turning anyone into a Goliath simple and with 90% less effort.

Arachnid:(chuckles) It is quite efficient isn't it.

The Terminator project? I know these machines were based on that technology, but I heard those required human pilots in order to function. I silently walk into the room and I hide behind some boxes as I peer behind a box to see the Goliath armor opened with the central pillar removed. If I remember correctly that's the port that houses the AI and Nebula Gas Core.

Arachnid:(looks at Machine) The Human element is always the most difficult to decipher, but AI's are so hard to manage, these on the other hand can. But against someone like Build or clearly Rin as she's called, might require more than one to take down. Much as I'd like one to be enough.

Genming: I don't see it as a loss… Besides. We have plenty to draw on.

Huian:(whispering) What are they talking about?

Genming walks over to a special crate, he opens the crate up and takes out a- Oh my god… The item is a glass container holding a Brain and spine with neuro implants on the spine. At the bottom of the container is a Nebula Gas Core. The container is placed into a socket, the container moves into the suit and closes up. I-I need to get out of here… I stand up and walk back, but my leg bumps into a box. "Who's there?" Genming shouts readying his gun. I have to get out of here! I start to run towards the elevator. "Sigh~ This was going to come eventually I suppose." Arachnid said as I got closer to the elevator. "Mist Match!" I hear behind me, I glance back seeing Grey Pill walking towards me. I get into the elevator and press the elevator to go up. As the door begins to close, spider arms wrap on the edges of the door and push them open as Arachnid lowers down. "Huian." Arachnid mutters, an arm wraps itself around me and pulls me out. I'm tossed out and soft placed on the ground, I'm frozen in fear as Arachnid walks over to me.

Arachnid:(arms fold away) Now Huian, I've told you that when we are in Engineering, you are not to enter the building until it's okay for you. This is why…

Genming:(walks over) What should we do with her? We can't let her leave.

Arachnid:(leans forwards to Huian) True… But she's far too young to undergo the Goliath Conversion, plus she's more useful to us now as a Pilot, we need someone to handle Rin… But.(turns to Huian) You will keep this a secret.(finger up to chin) Won't you, Huian?

Huian:(nods) Y-Yes… Mam. I will keep this a secret.

Arachnid:(nods) Good girl.(returns to normal) Now… What did you come here for?

I silently put out the Data pad and hand it to Genming, he swipes the pad away and gestures me to leave. I run to the elevator and close the door and up to the ground floor. I quickly exit Engineering and into my quarters. Closing the door behind me, I lock the door and shut the blinds. I sat down talking in what I had just seen… They… Turned a man… A person… Into a living… Computer… My stomach begins to turn as I run to the bathroom.

We are Sento

I look at the brain, as I connect the Neuro implant with my HUD to access his Neural Network. My god… He's free from control by Phantom Task but… His brain chemicals are going wild, he- or she is in total shock. I begin to access the network of the system itself, scanning and backing up data. The doors open as Commander Yang walks in.

Yang: What is the-... My god…

Mao:(turns) Commander! Mam!... I… Don't know how else to say this… But.

Yang:(looks at Brain) This is the core of the Goliath? This?!... Where's Rin?

Sento:(looks at Yang) She had to go to the bathroom.

Mao:(Sighs) I don't blame her.

Yang: Can you get anything out of this… Brain?

Mao:(turns to Yang) What?! Mam, with all due respect. This… This person… Needs to be put to rest. We can get data from the electronics.

Yang:(looks at Mao) And give up vital first hand information? No way.

Mao: Mam, our enemy is at our borders and they are coming for us.

Yang: Which is why we need to collect this data, we aren't going to get another chance like this ever again!

Sento:(looks at Yang) I can still do that with the Network, I don't need the person themselves, so… I agree with Mao.

Mao:(serious face) Mam… Please.

Yang looks around, looking at everyone else's reactions. It's clear that everyone is on Mao's side. Yang looks at the brain, then thinks on the idea. After a long moment of silence, Yang lets out a sigh. "You're right. Even if we may die, we die as the better people." Yang said, looking at the Brain. "Puts this person out of their misery." Yang said, walking out silently. The entire room salutes her as she leaves. I look at the Brain… Rest easy now… Because the pain is going to be gone soon. Doctors approach with a syringe for a lethal injection. Mao puts her hands together and begins to silently pray. "A moment of silence for this poor person." I said, as everyone stops what they are doing to give a moment to the brain. The doctors inject the brain as the brain's signals slowly begin to slow, before stopping, the long beep of the monitor being the only sound in the room.
