(Gentoku walks forward with Yamada behind him. Camera changes to an up close look at Gentoku up close, looking at one half of Gentoku's face is with a creepy smile. Camera switches to other side to see a dulled out Gen with purple crack veins creeping up his face. Stalk Revels in everything.)

(Camera flies past the cast in different poses looking at the camera M's face shows anger, as camera changes to Sento also with a serious face, before Chifuyu drops in besides Sento. Sento and Chifuyu reach out to each other, but a shadow creeps up Sento's hand. Sento brings his hand close to his eye, the camera focuses on his eyes to see a shadow in both eyes.)

(Still focusing on the eye, appears an all black boots, hand, chest piece, then belt with a Red Trigger upon it. Then to Normal Build as his helmet folds out, the camera pans back to look down upon the entire cast. Camera changes to a Full Bottle being tossed before being paused in frame.)
Construct 86: The Talk
Sento: In the last Construct, we De-constructed the Goliath and we discovered that the core system of the Goliath is the Brain and spinal cord of a human. After this shocking discovery, I have to now deal with Rin's family and try and help them come to an understanding. I got this… I got this… Right?
We are Sento
I walk down the hallway towards the interrogation room. My mind still thinks back on the discovery made with the Goliath. What reason is their for it's creation?... No, now is not the time. I approach the interrogation room, I glance inside to see Rin's parents. I take a moment to collect myself. After a breath to collect myself, I turn to the door and enter the room. "Apologies for the wait." I said walking in, I close the door behind me and close the door.
Sento:(sits down) I know this kind of environment is… not as comfortable as I would like it to be, but this is all we have right now.
Jun: I… It's fine. I just…(looks around) Don't feel comfortable here… Nowhere feels safe.
Cheng:(looks at ground) Nowhere is safe, with nowhere to go either. I can't just sit around and do anything…(looks at Sento) It feels like I'm wasting time sitting here like this.
Sento:(looks at the two) Hmm… Jun-san, Cheng-san I feel like we need to change the topic. Could you two explain to me how you two first came to know each other?
Cheng: Each other?(Sento nods)... Well, I guess it was back when we were in 2nd year of College… What was it… I was on my way back from school with my buddies. We wanted to grab a bite so we went out to grab some soup.(looks at Jun) But when we were ordering I saw her.
Jun:(giggles) Oh, I remember that, you had a look of "Who is she?" You tripped over your words so much you ordered two of the same item! He had to eat two meals in one sitting.
Cheng:(sighs) Yeah, but I did enjoy the soup and the next day. I came back to get some more… And that's how we first met.(looks at Jun) You're soup was my favorite meal, second only to the steam dumplings.
Sento:(nods) I see, your daughter made that for me once when I was sick… I see. It was your love of food and each other… But, from what your daughter explained to me. The divorce was caused by… The wrongs of the Old Chinese Government?
Cheng: That… and what to do with said information. I wanted action.
Jun: I wanted stability, our disagreement, as well as other disagreements over "Other" Issues.
Sento: I see… Such as?
Cheng and Jun:...
Sento:... I believe I see the problem now. I think it's not any problem with the two of you. Rather it's an issue with your communication. Both of your arguments are valid, but you don't want to give any ground to each other, nor are willing to compromise. The two of you need to have a compromise.(Phone vibrate) Hmm?(takes out phone) I think you should come with me... (Stands up) Follow me.
I walk out of the room, Jun and Cheng confused with the sudden leave. We head down into the cafeteria. Walking into the mess hall, people gather around the counter. "Everyone one at a time please!" A Staff member said as they directed everyone into a line. I gesture Cheng and Jun to follow me into the back. Entering the kitchen, everyone is moving around to get food ready and standing over by the stove pot, Rin is making soup. "How about you go see what she's making." I tell the two, they slowly walk over to see what Rin is making. They both of their eyes widen when they see that it's the soup that brought the two together being made.
Rin:(glaces back) Oh, Mom, Dad… Is the talk over?
Jun: Oh, no Honey. Your Counselor told us to come here, to see what you are doing.
Rin:(looks at Sento) Oh, so you're up to your usual stuff huh?
Sento:(Smirk) You know me. I try to make any moment a teaching moment.
Cheng:(walks over to pot) Still… This looks good. May I?
Rin:(nods) Sure, both you and Mom too.
The two take a small sample of the soup. They taste it and both of them are impressed. "This is… Amazing." Jun said. Cheng nods in agreement. "Yeah, how did you get this flavor?" Cheng asks. "You know the secret ingredient you two would always argue about?" Rin said as she grabs two small containers and shows it to the two. "I just put them both in… Kinda obvious when you think about it." Rin said, crossing her arms in pride. Jun and Cheng look at each other.
Sento:(walks over) If I remember correctly and I am. You asked me to help you make the perfect ratio of both. Even how to incorporate both without running the flavor, you tried to make a compromise that's beneficial of both flavors.
Rin:(blushes) S-Sensei!? Don't tell them that!
Sento:(shrugs) Why not? You put so much effort into it… Not to mention all the disasters you had.
I feel a killing instinct as I take out my Diamond bottle and give it a quick shake. Just in time as Rin punches me, but my Diamond Hard Skin stops the impact from hurting. "A...Ow~" Rin said kneeling down. "This is why you don't react with violence Rin." I said with a sigh, I glanced over to Jun and Cheng. "Is this common with either of you two?" I asked, the two gave a shrug. So it's a result of the environment and stress then. I get another text from Mao to come to the lab.
Sento:(sigh~) No rest for the wicked. Rin, Mao called, we're needed in the lab…(looks at Rin) You good?
Rin:(stands up) Y-Yeah. I'll be fine… Mom, Dad? Can you two help out here?
Jun: S-Sure.
Cheng:(nods) Okay…
"Sorry to leave you again, but this is important." Rin said as we left the room. The two to glance back at the soup.
Lab…
Entering the lab, the brain core with the energy generator removed. The Brain and spine are placed in a crate and taken away. Approaching the emptied core of the Goliath, with Mao and a team of Engineers gathering what they can. "Take a listen to this." Mao said, an Engineer plays back a recording.
Operator: All forces are to diverge on the Beijing Capital. I repeat, all forces are to diverge on the Beijing Capital. I repeat-
Mao:(turns to Sento) Seems like Phantom Task is Gearing up to take the rest of China, after that we're next.
Sento:(walks over) So, what is Command's plan?
Mao:(crosses arms) Command is planning to get the civilians out of the city before Phantom Task directs their forces here.
Rin:(looks at Mao) How is that possible? All the boats are gone.
Mao:(nods) It was… Until a benefactor at the Best Match Foundation has supplied British civilian ships to us, provided that we give them cover.
Sento:(smiles) Ah, Thank you Cecilia. You've got my message in time.
Rin:(looks at Sento) Nice!(turns to Mao) So then, I assume it's our job to protect the boats as they leave?
Mao:(nods) Yeah, that's the plan… But, Yang isn't so sure about this. She's onboard with the idea of getting the Civilians out of the city, but not with letting large military forces controlled by Phantom Task to have complete control over China. Command wants to just leave.
Sento:(nods) I don't blame them. The walls are closing in, it probably feels like they have no other choice other than TO leave. But, I'm with Yang in not leaving Phantom Task here to their own devices,
Rin:(looks at Sento) But what do we do? What can we do?... Ah! The Goliath maybe if we can tell all of China, Phantom Task's actions, their atrocities, and how they manipulated the destruction of China!
Mao:(nods) I agree that might be a good way to get people and their military on our side… But exactly how? We don't have access to the military network, nor the access to the airwaves. How the hell are we able to get this information to all of China.
Sento:... Ah… Well, I might have a part of the answer… See remember the Three Earth Crisis?
Mao: Yeah?
Rin:(looks at Sento) Right! You and Tabane accessed the network satellites to make contact with the three earths.
Mao: Is that why the TV channels were going wild during that time?
"Yeah~" I said, scratching the back of my head. I pull up my HUD and begin accessing the Airwaves. "Though that's only half of the problem. Sure the people may know, but what about the military?" I asked. "My team has been working on that." Mao said, we head over to a console as she brings up a series of frequencies. "These are frequencies that we managed to pull out when you accessed the Goliath." Mao explains as she pulls up the many frequencies.
Mao: These are just some of the few frequencies, we have no way of accessing the entire network at once.
Rin: So unless we could access the entire Military network it wont change a thing?
Mao:(nods) That's it. Maybe we can get a few of the squads, but it can't change anything until we can get everyone to hear. So unless we happened to be attacked or found a high ranking military officer, I don't see how we can-
Operator:(intercom) Alert! Alert! A Tibet Scouting party has been spotted by Area D-4 Wall Perimeter.
Sento: Ask and you shall receive apparently…(walks over to console) What does it look like over their?
Engineer: Reports say, no Goliaths or Smashes, only ground forces and light reconnaissance vehicles. Also Huian was spotted among them.
Sento:(looks at Mao and Rin) Looks like this is our chance. What's the plan?
Rin:(glances at Goliath)... I'm going. I need to see if Huian knows about the Goliath.
Mao:(nods) Sounds good. But I'm coming along.
Sento:(turns to Mao) Then I-
Mao:(looks at Sento) I think it best you stay here actually. We don't know if this isn't a trap, so you should stay here if anyone tries anything. Not to mention you are clearly better at hacking into networks than any of us. I want to keep our options open, so you take a crack at it.
Sento: Ah…(nods) Right… Sure… G-Good luck you two.
The two head off to begin their mission. I glance at the Console… Well… How hard could it be to crack into the system? It's better to try than not at all I suppose.
We are Rin
Exiting the base, I walk through the courtyard preparing my IS. "Hey, Rin." Mao said, I turned around to look at her. "Anything on your mind?" Mao asks me, I glance at the ground thinking all I have experienced ever since my Family broke up and I became an IS pilot. "I guess… I so..." I mumble as I try to find the words to describe my feelings.
Rin: I can't help but think… Is China… The old China, was it really all that great?
Mao:(looks at Rin) What do you mean?
Rin:(looks at Mao) I'm… Not sure how to describe it… I guess, I'm wondering if all this fighting over land and space is really going to mean anything… The Goliath, peoples contempt for the "old ways," as well as what China was… it feels like we're going in circles. If Phantom Task takes over China it's the same system, new rulers… Why are people even throwing in?
Mao:(Nods) Best I can say it, people just want stability. When that stability is taken, people react in many different ways. One is to follow the status quo, to ignore reality and focus on the self rather than the world at hand. While another would be one who tries to regain that stability by force. The emergency services and the military are there to bring that stability, even if others don't see it that way.
Rin:(looks at Mao) Then isn't it the people's duty to keep the military in check so as to prevent atrocities like this?
Mao:(crosses arms) It should be… But that's the democratic system China was a "Communist" Country. Even though our economy is very much democratic. Our voting system never really was, it didn't help that most of the leaders weren't looking for a just society… But that could be said about all Politicians. Again, it would be people's jobs. It's a spiral that's a pain to work though.
Rin: Thus many don't bother trying to figure it out then… And those who do, often are power hungry themselfs… Is there a point?
Mao: Well, that's the benefit of information and free speech I suppose. But even Democracies have their own sets of problems. But, I suppose if there's one thing you can do, I learn from the past.
Rin: And not let the past bar you from going forwards.
Mao:(nods) I suppose in the end, it's priorities. Do you want a stable life, or do you want to achieve a goal. We just need to learn from our past and build off of what was there before. No system is perfect from the start. And if a system gets too corrupt, then maybe you just need to tear it out from the roots and start fresh. And when we should fumble, we look at both sides, and make a compromise
Rin: Yeah… But… All I wanted… Is for my family to be together again, but I also want a Government that cares… Before all of the Divorce started… I've realised that, working with Sensei. A compromise. That's what's needed. I want a good government and a happy family!(serious face) And if I need to rebuild China from the ground up to do it then I will!
Mao:(smiles) Sounds like you're all set to go.(takes out IS) Ready?
"Ready!" I said, as Mao and I deploy our IS's and launch into the air towards where Huian is said to be at.
We are Observer
Standing behind a pair of pillars Cheng and Jun ponder on what they heard. "Lingyin..." Jun mutters under her breath. "She's really grown up in the time we haven't seen her, huh?" Cheng said looking at Jun, Jun nods in agreement. "Compromise, huh?" Cheng said, as he and Jun glanced at each other. "When we're done cooking… Want to "Talk it out" like Mr. Counselor said?" Jun suggests. "That… Sounds good." Cheng said as they looked back at Rin who's flying away.
Jun: Stay safe Dear…
Cheng: Watch you're back Lingyin...
We are Sento
I groan in anger in my chair. "Can't break in?" The Engineer next to me asks. "Yes! This is the 500th attempt!" I exclaim, I look back at the screen as another failure icon appears. "501st attempt." I said, fluffing my hair in frustration. "Are you hacking software going that fast?" The Engineer asks looking at my screen as another failure icon appears.
Sento: 502nd attempt and yes it's that fast, but with other systems they don't have the bandwidth to manage so many different hacking modules that one has to get though, but with this each of the protocols to access the network changes every attempt. My algorithm can't learn fast enough to work around the protocol.
Engineer: Then it's up to the Pilots to get access to the network.
Sento:(sighs) Yup, 503rd… But then, I suppose I need to work on the other project I need to finish soon.(pulls up data) And this might be useful… Hard light constructs, energy wings, and the main event… Color me surprised with Ion Cannons.
Engineer: Do you… Always mutter to yourself aloud?
Sento: Not as a way to distract anyone, but more to focus my mind on the tasks at hand!
We are Rin
I approach the site, when a beam of energy flies at me. I dodge to the side, as the beam flies past me. Landing on the ground, Huian steps out her blade at the ready. "Huian! I have a lot of questions for you, I hope you're ready to answer them!" I exclaim, taking out my own blades. "It's not likely you'll get them." Huian said, Mao steps over. "That has yet to be seen." Mao said.
Rin: You'd better listen up, this is my first question! Do you know the truth of the Goliath Project!?
Huian:(enters battle stance) What makes you assume I'll tell you just like that?
Rin: So you do know something!... Then answer me why would they use the brain and spines to control the Goliaths?!
Huian:(jolts) Th-That's… Not for me… To question…
"She's scared." Mao mutters to me. "Yeah. Then we need to press on to get the information we need." I said, I point my cannons at Huian and shoot at her. Huian dodges to the right and deploys her cannons. Mao and I move in, I fly into the air to keep the cannons distracted as Mao moves in. Taking out her pistol and short sword, Mao engages in a melee with Huian. I fly around in circles dodging the beams flying at me.
We are Mao
My blade clashes Huian's blade, as I point my pistol's barrel at Huian. She moves her head to the side to dodge the bullet, Huian moves her arms in a circle bringing my arms together. Huian then spun, pulling me off my feet before she threw me over her shoulder. I spin in the air and land on the ground, but I lose my footing and fall down. Agh… I'd better start the system infiltration now. On my HUD I activate a bug device to gain access to Huain's IS systems. I charge in, Huian swings at me but I dodge to the left then swipe with my blade before I kick her in the groin. Huian stumbles back as I charge in, placing one bug in each of my hands. I grab Huian's right shoulder as I punch with my left hand. Huian then uppercuts me before jump kicking me away.
Huian:(stands back up) Tch…(takes off bug) Did you really think that I wouldn't notice this?(crushes bug) I was trained by you after all…
Mao:(stands up) Which pains me even more that we have to fight. Look, I can tell something's off you can tell me. We don't need to fight!
Huian:(shaking) I… Can't…
Mao: Why not?! Nothing's stopping you!
"That's… Not important!" Huian shouts, jumping at me. Only for Rin to dive bomb into Huian and the two to fly off. "Rin!" I shout, but Huian's cannons approach and open fire on me. "Sigh~" I open fire on the cannons as I make for cover. Why do I feel like I keep getting put into a background role!? I jump into cover as I shoot at the cannons.
