Hello to anyone that read this story. Never thought I will back to making HDN stories again, but since I can't progress with my DxD one, I guess this is to help me get back into the writing mood again. It's been a while since the last time I write so I still getting used to writing again.
I will put a warning here first, though.

"Hey, can you hear me? Your vision might be a little fuzzy, but believe me, everything is under control." Said someone in front of me.
"Ugh... so bright. Did I just die?"
When I opened my eyes, I was in an empty white space and a ball of light in front of me. I still remember the moment before I appear here, it was because I click an email that was titled 'Please open me! I need your help to save my world!' a second later a blinding light just appear beneath me and here I am.
"Well, technically no. But I just summoned you here in exchange for not being able to go back to your world again."
"Then what's the difference you-"
"*ahem* Okay, okay! I'm sorry, it's an emergency and I can't find anyone else but you. Then again, you also wish to start everything from the beginning, right? Not confined in a place that you call 'home'."
The ball of light got a point there. Since my home is more like a prison to me. I was living alone in an expensive apartment since my parents were too busy with their job. On top of it, I can't even leave for school since they were afraid if I got kidnapped or something stupid like that. So I just spent the rest of my life playing games alone in my room. "*sigh* Alright, you got me there. So what are you? A god?"
"I'm a goddess. Nice to meet you."
"So, what are you going to do with me? And you sound too casual for being a goddess."
"Hey, even goddess has personality, okay? Not all of us are elderly, wise, kind like people. Anyway, the main reason I summon you here is that I need some energy from your earth."
"Huh, interesting. What for?"
"You see… my world just suffers from a tremendous battle and since it using a lot of energy to maintain it I need someplace to transfer some excess energy for my world. Since your earth doesn't use it I decide to borrow some of it."
"And where do I come in?"
"You act as a relay from your world to mine. In the exchange for you living in my world using a body that I made for you, do you want to know about your new world?"
"No, I'll find it out myself. I don't like spoilers and... I want to live on my terms this time."
"I see... I understand. But, I'm going to give you something as compensation for summoning you. Tell me what do you want? A powerful weapon? Ability? Just name it."
"I guess... I'll go with money. Even in another world, I need money to survive. Of course, I will try to find some ways to earn it myself but for emergency purposes... I just need a backup plan."
"Ohhh~ That's a good one! You're wise despite your age!"
"Nah, not really. I just don't want to burden anyone."
"Alright. Ah! Looks like the transfer process is about to complete. I wish you good luck and bless you, young girl."
"Thank you."
When I open my eyes, I can see that I'm not in the white room anymore. I'm in some kind of forest, laying on the grass before trying to stand up and looking at my surrounding. Just trees and a small lake in front of me. I tried to make my way to the lake, since I still feel lightheaded after being transferred here. When I see my reflection, there's only a young girl standing there. Before, I was a teenager with long brown hair and brown eyes, but now, I just turned into a blonde child with light blue eyes wearing an oversized shirt and shorts. I also wearing sandals and a rather big brown mail deliverer bag that I'm sure I can fit my entire body if I'm trying.
"That goddess is a lolicon." I said plainly and suddenly a notification screen, just like in a video game, appear right in front of me.
It said, 'Hey, I'm not a lolicon! I just can't make your body older because of the lack of energy!'
"Yeah, right."
'Anyway, this is the last time we'll be able to communicate, so I just want to tell you how to use inventory and stuff like that. I know you play video games, so it'll make it a lot easier for you. Your bag is not an ordinary bag, since it has unlimited capacity and it won't weight you down even if you put a heavy object in it. A window will appear when you interact with it just like in video games and the best part is only you can access and use this bag! Why I'm telling you this? Because this world is just like video games. Just think of it as VR games and you'll do just fine, also your money has already transferred to your inventory. It takes forms in a credit card so you just need to scan it at the shop or somewhere like that, but don't worry they can't look at the amount of money you have! ...and some snacks in your bag! Goddess bless you.'

After walking around for a while, I decide to eat the snacks inside my bags and take a rest under a tree. I seem can't spot any city around here but luckily it is still in the middle of the day.
My strength is not even enough to open the snack because of this child's body. I then tried to give it pressure on my whole body and hoped it won't make too much mess.
*Pop!*
Some of the content falls to the ground, but I'm glad that it is just a small amount. I sat down and with my tiny hand, I eat the snack. While thinking about what should I do next.
'I need to find a place to sleep or maybe get some work first. Assuming there's someone that will hire a child *sigh* Maybe there's some sort of adventurer guild, so I also need to buy a weapon.'
I ended my thoughts when I feel something brushing my feet only to see that a dog-looking slime is eating the snack that falls to the ground.
'What is this thing? Is this the monster from this world or just a random creature?'
That's what I think while the creature just slowly eating every snack that falls on the ground and when it finished, it looks at me while I'm unsure what to do.
"Umm... you want this?" I said childishly and offered some of my snacks to the creature, which it eats happily without hurting me a single bit.
"Dogoo! Dogoo!" The creature jumped happily before snuggling itself into my body. I slowly tried to pet it and the dogoo seems to enjoy it.
"I will call you Mr. Dogoo, then." I smiled before continue eating my snack while occasionally giving some to the Dogoo.
I am inside a child's body, so it would be best if I act like one. Sure, I have the mind of a teenager, but it's easier if I use a child's personality. Who knows, maybe I can get a simple life just by using my puppy eyes when the time is right.
"Mr. Dogoo, do you know where the city is?"
"Dogoo!"
The slime or dogoo just walking err... jumping to my left side and signaling me to follow it. I decide to trust the Dogoo since I don't have a clue where I am and I think nothing bad will happen.

It's been a while since I followed this Dogoo while I occasionally eat another snack on my hand while wondering what kind of city this world has. A medieval one? A modern one? Or even a futuristic one? Then again, I don't know if I'll be able to enter the city first since being a lone child is already suspicious enough and I can't use my money recklessly since that only makes me a target for the bad guy.
"Dogoo!"
"Huh? W-Wow. This is just like a video game, alright. Looks like that goddess doesn't lie to me." I said as I saw the large futuristic city with a lot of buildings and skyscrapers around it. The middle of the city is a colossal white structure with black streaks filled with a green light in the middle of its perpendicular sides, which end on a green circle in between.
"That must be the ruler of this city live. I wonder if it's okay for me to go inside that city?" I look at my clothes again and yes, people might just take me to the police station before I even do anything. Not to mention I don't have any kind of ID card, so I wonder if the guards will allow me to pass. "Thank you for your help, Mr. Dogoo. Here you can have the rest of my snack."
"Dogoo!"
The creature just jumps in joy when I place my snack on the ground before happily eating it. I then walk toward the town and am mentally prepared for anything there.
"Ah, hello there, young girl. Where are your parents? Or did you have any business in Leanbox?" One of the guard said while approaching me when I arrived at the gate. The person wears a helmet so I can't tell his expression.
"I-I'm here on my own! I want to become an adventurer!" I was so nervous that I just yelled at the guard. Fortunately, he doesn't get angry.
"A new member, I see. Do you have any ID in your possession?"
"Ah! No, I don't have it."
"Well, I guess since you're young, that's being expected. Come with me to the station. At least we going to make you a temporary one until you registered to the guild." The guard said, while gesturing for me to follow him. Since he was friendly and the other guard didn't seem to mind it, I decide to just follow him to the station.
'Based on his speech earlier, it seems my age is not a problem here. He even doesn't react when I told him I want to be an adventurer. Then again, this is a fantasy world, so maybe it's just a normal thing around here.'
The process is really simple. They just take my photo, some fee (only 500 credits) and they told me to write my identity on a piece of paper. The most important part is my name, but I just make up most of it. I haven't thought about it since I transferred here, so I just used one of my game nicknames for this. I'm sure they won't mind. Not to mention the lady that does this kind of thing is friendly to me and she won't stop smiling and patting my head during the entire process.
"Svelta-chan~ What a cute name for a cute girl like you." The lady said.
"T-Thank you."
"Let me type this first and... done. Here's your temporary ID Svelta-chan. Though, maybe you should buy new clothes first so the guild won't mistake you for a lost child."
'I knew it!' "Umm... where are the clothes store?"
"I wish I can escort you, but I am still on duty. *sigh* Well, anyway, just follow the road until you reach an enormous fountain and then turn right. That's one of the city shopping places, you can also find a cafe if you feel hungry and on the other way you can find an inn if you are planning to live here for a while. If you need anything else, just come here and ask me." The lady said.
'Wow, she really helpful. I'm so glad that I met people like her here.' "Thank you! I'll be going then, lady!" I said before running towards the door and bowing to her.
"Careful when you cross the street, okay?"
Leanbox, street.
When I'm on my way to the store, some pedestrians look at me before continuing their activity. Seems like my clothing really catches their attention, so changing my clothes is my main priority right now. After running for a while, I finally found the store thanks to the guide from the lady earlier. Actually, there are a lot of them so I just pick one randomly and hope for the best. When I go inside, the interior mostly gives me modern vibes, maybe because the wall is white with a green glowing line on it.
The clerk instantly noticed me and gave me a warm smile. "Welcome to our store dear customer! Anything I can help you, young lady?"
"Umm... Can you give me some recommendations for adventurer outfits?"
"Adventurer, huh? Hmm... I got it! Please wait in front of the changing room while I bring it to you."
"Thank you, miss."
After waiting for a minute, the clerk is finally back with some clothes in her hand. It seems she brought 3 sets of clothing and, by the looks of her face; she was happy about it.
"I got you something that might suit you, young lady! Please try my recommendation and tell me what you think about it!" She said before giving me one of the clothing sets.
"T-Thank you." I said before entering the changing room. This one is a pretty green and white dress with some flower design on the bottom. She also gives me white loafers and a white flower hairpin. After finishing dressing up, I open the curtain and met with a happy clerk.
"So cute! I knew that dress is very suitable for you, young lady!"
"This is good but, I don't think I can wear this as an adventurer."
"Well, not necessarily. Since caster around your age usually wears this kind of clothing. Then again, I haven't asked you about your weapon of choice, so I guess it's my mistake."
"It's okay! I forgot about it as well..." 'Then again, what kind of weapon I should use here?' "Can I try the next one?"
"Of course! Here, this one is based on the most popular guild member. She's the one that new members usually looked up to since she is also part of Goddesses' team. Not to mention she is also really cool."
"Okay." I said before closing the curtain and trying on the next outfit. This time I'm wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans with an oversized green long coat and black boots. I agree this was cool but... 'It really suffocating! The coat is too long that it fully covered my entire body with it. Might as well call me a walking coat at this point.' I then open the curtain again to show the clerk how I look.
"Ohh~ this gives you a different vibe. So how about it, young lady?"
"This is good but... can you give me something more, uhh, flexible?"
"Then my last recommendation will give you satisfaction! Here you go!"
This time I just smiled at her while accepting the outfit before closing the curtain. Right now, I'm wearing a black tank top and short pants. Green jacket and black sneakers. I also wear a green hairband and black fingerless gloves. 'Hmm... This is not bad. Maybe I'll ask for a longer tank top since this one shows my belly so much.'
"Wow! I knew this is perfect for you, young lady! How about it?"
"Yes, I like this one. But can I get a longer tank top?"
"But that will reduce your cuteness, so I strongly disagree! Do you know what they're saying about being cute is a deadly weapon!? You should use it too, young lady! You might score some jackpot and raise your rank in the guild easily!"
'Uwah... seems like she won't budge no matter what.' "O-Okay. Then I will take this."
"Thank you for your patronage! Then all of it will cost you 2000 credits. Is that okay?"
"Yes. I have money on this card." I said before handing her the money card from my bag.
"Alrighty, let me scan it on the cashier first."
The clerk then hops to the cashier happily while I decide to follow her after processing her odd behavior. Well, I guess I won't mind it and just roll with it. 'Maybe I should zip my jacket later.'
...
"Here you go, young lady. Thank you for your patronage."
"Yes. Thank you for recommending me these clothes too..." 'Maybe I should act more like a child from now on.' "Umm, Nee-san!"
The clerk just got hit by something and just got in bliss. Though I can imagine it just like in anime, so I'm not surprised at all.
"I knew it! You're so cute like that, young lady! Ah! I almost forgot! I got something for you. Can I style your hair?"
"Sure, go ahead, nee-san."
"Okay~ hold still, this is going to be perfect."
She then pulls out two black hair ties and a comb before begin doing something with my hair. I stand still while letting her slowly tie my hair before showing it to me, using a small mirror in her hand. Now my long hair has become low pigtails and, to be honest, I quite like it. She then pulls her phone and asks my permission to get a selfie with her, well I don't mind, so I just let her.
After a long selfie session (which was stopped by another customer who walked in) I finally made my way to the guild. It was another extensive building and, just like in the center of the city, they also colored it white, with some green outlines. A lot of peoples are gathering here, probably the members, clients and the staff. I steeled myself as I grip my bag tightly before going inside.
'Wow, the interior is futuristic.' I said, as I observe the technology used inside. It's different from my old world but, this is not the time to be struck in awe. I search for a free counter so I don't need to wait too long and luckily I found one.
"Excuse me!" I said as I tiptoed to the counter thanks to my height.
"Welcome to Leanbox guild, miss. What can I help you with?"
"Umm... can I become a guild member?"
The staff becomes quiet before analyzing me. She then opens a book beneath the counter before smiling at me. "Of course! We'll be happy to have a member as cute as you. But first, you need to take some tests to make sure you have what it takes to become a full-fledged member."
"Okay! I can do that!"
"That's great!" The staff happily said before giving me a piece of paper. "Please, fill out this application while I contacted our staff to assist you in your test."
I then start fills the paper just like I do in the guard station earlier and since I can't reach the counter, I just write it on the floor, which made the staff giggle. After I finished, the clerk then checks the application, and when she was done, she asked me to follow her. I then arrive in a room with some chairs and a table just like university students would go before sitting on one of them.
'Looks like I'm the only one who registered this time. It's kinda nerve-wracking since I have no one to talk to.'
After a while of waiting, the door then opened, and a bulky man came inside the room. He has the aura of a veteran around him, maybe because he is wearing a hunting vest, green camo pants, and an eyepatch. He looked at me before nodding and asking me some questions.
"So... you the one who wishes to join us?" He said in a severe tone.
"Y-Yes!"
"It's been a while since we have a young recruit like you... So, as your senior, I will do my best to help you."
"T-Thank you!"
"...you can relax, young girl. Sorry if I scared you. To be honest, I don't understand why they choose me as your trainer. They know I scare children when they looking at me *sigh* maybe because I accidentally wreck a bar week ago."
I just laugh nervously after hearing that and calm myself down. 'Poor guy looks like he is a kind man with scary-looking features. Well, I just need to make sure that I'm okay with it.' "So... what should I do, mister?" I said, as I smiled at him. And guess what it worked.
"...*ahem* Alright, first I'm going to explain some of our history, rules, and branches in the Gamindustri. Second, I'm going to need you to take some physical exams so we can know your basic stats. Because from what I read that you still don't know about it. Finally, after you choose your weapon, you going to take an exam before becoming a full-fledged member. Are you understand?"
"Yes! I'll do my best!"
The man then started blushing before coughing to the side to hide it. "Good. Let's start with some basics, then."
He then starts explaining the land of Gamindustri, which I think it's a pretty weird name until I fully understand the reason. So basically, Gamindustri composed of four landmasses: Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, and Leanbox. A separate goddess rules each of these landmasses. The people who live on these landmasses worship a certain goddess, who in return gives the people of that landmass their divine protection.
Planeptune is led by Purple Heart, Lastation that led by Black Heart, Lowee that led by White Heart, and finally Leanbox that led by Green heart. He also showed me the portrait of the Goddesses or also called by the name CPU. I tried to remember what they looked like so I won't mistake them when I meet with them. Though the chances are probably really low since I'm just a citizen that soon-to-be a newbie guild member. 'Why is lady Green Heart exposing her skin so much? Maybe that's why the outfit trend follows her appearance.'
Next, he explained to me about the guild rules. To put it simply, he told me about how to accept the quest, rank restrictions, quest types, the penalty for failing the quest, and some rules. I must run away if I, unfortunately, met with the monster that three-level higher than mine, a viral monster (or a subspecies of that monster), and a Boss monster, at least until I get some level and rank first.
I continue listening to him and it took thirty minutes before he test my knowledge about everything he just explained. You can say it went smoothly.
...
"Alright, now for some physical tests. First, just a simple 30m run. You ready Svelta?"
"Yes!"
"Good. On go, 3 2 1 Go!"
I ran as fast as I could to the finish line. Somehow, my body feels light. Not sure because it's a child's body because in the previous world I'm not even athletic since what I do is just sit in my room while playing games.
The trainer then stops his stopwatch and writes my result. "Hmm... Not bad! On to the next test!"
"Yes!"
The next one is side-to-side hops. I do it as much as my body can do and I'm pretty sure I get a good score on that. Though, on my next test... I don't do it very well.
"Ngghhh!" I am currently trying to pull this ten-kilogram weight unsuccessfully. I'm pretty sure I can only lift it a few centimeters only to exhaust myself first and fall to my butt.
"Hmm... Don't worry about it. Shall we take a quick break first before going to the next one?"
"Y-Yes... thank you..."
After the quick break, I then finished the rest of my test with a slight problem. It seems I can only do better if it related to speed and reflexes, while the rest of it is average or straight-up bad. The trainer just patted my head before giving me chocolate milk and told me to wait until the results are processed first. So that was what I do for the five minutes until the first staff I met before arrived and gives me the results.

"Is there something wrong, Svelta-chan?"
"Umm... Just a little disappointed that I can't use magic because of my stats."
"Ah... w-well, but that doesn't mean you can't completely use it. You're just taking a late start. So if you continue to train yourself, I'm sure you eventually can use it!"
"Really?" She nod. "Okay, then!"
"That's my Svelta-chan! For your qualification test, we task you to kill 5 Dogoo and bring me the jelly that Dogoo dropped in the Gapain Field. Please don't wander too deep in that place since the high-level monsters usually appear there. Also, please visit the armory so you can get your first weapon there."
'So Dogoo is a monster... I hope I didn't meet with the one that helped me. That will be a kind of depressing.' "Okay, I'll be going now!"
"Be careful and good luck!"

At the armory, I immediately looked for the staff that will give me my starter weapon. I then see someone standing behind a shop counter, so I approach it. There's a woman with a cool looking black coat and she smiled when noticed me.
"Excuse me. I was told that I can get my first weapon here."
"The new member, right? It's rare to see a young adventurer nowadays. Glad to have you, kid. Call me Armory. First thing, first let me see your stats so I can give my recommendation to you. Just say 'status' inside your mind and let the magic happen."
'Status.' As I thought of that, a small holographic screen suddenly appears in front of me. Miss Armory then looked at my stats and, with a hum, she began rummaging somewhere beneath the counter.
"I can say... your status is really specific Svelta-chan. Seems you're born to become a ranger, but the AGI stats also let you become a rogue so..." she said as she placed some weapons on the counter. "Here. Choose whatever you like and trust me, you're going to like it."
From the right, the selection is a bow. I guess it's obvious since she said I was a ranger, but I'll pass. The next one is dual daggers pretty neat, but with my defense stats really low, I don't really want to take the risk of going close with my enemy. A dual Chakram. I suppose you can throw it, but I'm afraid I can't catch it back. Throwing daggers, a whip, knife and one-handed crossbow, and finally a pistol.
'Hmm? The pistol seems a little out of place, considering the rest of it is fit in fantasy games. Well... this world is futuristic, so I guess it fits right in. Maybe I can get a futuristic-looking pistol when I raised my rank.' "I will choose this one." I said as I point the little handgun that somehow fit perfectly in my hands.
"A good choice. To be honest, I also want to let you choose other firearms, but considering your STR, this is the only one you can use, I'm afraid. Well, a pistol is still a good choice though since it offers a lot of potential with the unique skill you can get as long as you keep practicing on it." She then put the rest of the weapons back inside the counter before giving me five magazines, five HP potions, three SP potions, and a... big red button?
"What this button do, miss Armory?"
"This one will send you back to the dungeon entrance. Use it to come back quickly or escape a sticky situation, we call it the Eject Button. Though I must warn you, it won't work if you still engaging the monsters, so I advise you to run away and hide first so you can use it."
I make an Ohhh face before starting putting the potions and button into my bag. The items just mysteriously sucked into another dimension, which I assume is my Inventory and so I then put the pistol and its magazines inside my bag too. Miss Armory just looked at me as I do that but didn't ask any question.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Here, use this first." She said while giving me a glowing blue card with Analysis written over it. "It's a skill card. Normally, you create your own skills or you can just buy them here. Though for weapon-specific skills, I suggest you create it using your imagination. Of course, that won't be easy, but the unique effects will make it worthwhile."
"I understand! Thank you for everything, miss Armory!"
"Just doing my job, kid. Good luck on your first quest. I'm sure you'll go just fine."

After asking for directions from the guard at the gate, I'm surprised Gapain Field is the place the Goddess transferred me from. Slowly walking there to conserve my stamina, I finally met with my first target for the quest.
'Analysis.'
Dogoo

"You're not the Mr. Doggo, aren't you?" I asked the monster only for it to attack me. "Eep! Okay, that confirms it!" I pull out my pistol from my bag and start shooting the Dogoo.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
The Dogoo dodges the first bullet, but I successfully kill it with the second and third bullet. The Dogoo then slowly become pixelated before disappearing in bright light. "It's very gamelike death I have ever seen." Taking a deep breath, I then touch the jelly that was left from the Dogoo earlier, before it suddenly transferred itself to my inventory.
Get 1 Dogoo Jelly
"Alright, that's a good start, I guess." I then check the ammo in my pistol and it still has 12 rounds left. "Let's continue."
I venture around the place and saw two Doggo just... looking at each other? I decide to just give them a surprise attack. Maybe that will give them some extra damage.
*Bang!*
Critical Hit!
The Dogoo that I shot instantly died and the other one instantly charged at me with a full speed. I tried to shoot it but miss, but fortunately, I easily dodge the attack thanks to my AGI.
*Bang! Bang!*
I watched as the Dogoo die before suddenly a notification appeared.

'The stats only increase one, huh? Or maybe the amount will increase later, at a higher level?' I dismissed the notification and take the Doggo Jellies before searching the rest of my target.
*Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!*
"And with that, the quest is complete." I said as I reloaded my gun and throw the magazine inside my bag. I then take the rest of the jellies and make my way back to Leanbox. Until suddenly...
"Dogoo! Dogoo!"
"Eh?"
When I turn around, I saw a Dogoo with a snack wrapping on top of its head. The Doggo approached me and jump happily in front of me.
"Mr. Dogoo! It's good to see you again!"
I then pat the Dogoo before suddenly I feel the ground shaking. The shaking keeps growing stronger until I see a giant Doggo looking down at me.
'A-Analysis!'
Huge Dogoo (Boss)

'Uh-oh. Time to run away!' I instantly run in the opposite direction from the huge Dogoo coming from before and the Huge Dogoo chasing me, although only the huge one has the intention since the small dogoo already jumping beside me.
"Aaaaa! Why does a boss monster suddenly appear here!? I'm pretty sure I didn't wander deeper earlier!"
The Huge Dogoo still chasing me while knocking the trees along the way. I then use my gun and shot the Huge Dogoo while running, even when I know it was a futile attempt. I just hope there's another guild member that will hear my shooting and help me with this thing.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
That was the plan until I got tripped from a root and when I was about to get up, the Huge Dogoo was about to squash me. But the smaller one hit me with its body and that made me launch to safety, only for me to see it getting squashed in my stead. "Nooo! Mr. Dogoo!" The Huge Dogoo then fix its eyes on me again before I finally ran away again. I think I already been running for ten minutes and I can feel my stamina is about to run out.
'This is bad! This is bad! This is seriously bad!' I thought while gripping my bag strap really hard. I realized the Huge Dogoo is about to squash me again, even when I'm currently running right now. 'It finally catches up with me!' I closed my eyes and braced for the impact. I'm sure that I screwed, but when that was about to happen, a laser beam suddenly appear and hit the Huge Dogoo.
*BOOM!*
And that's it for the first chapter. I'm using Grammarly as usual but sometimes it was buggy and I need to re-check this at least three times until Grammarly said everything is good. And somehow the word Mr. Dogoo will disappear when I edit this. I don't know why but I hope I fill all the blank space that contains the words. Feel free to give me your review though I'm going to tell you first that this story is going to be a slow life one so no evil Antagonist will appear and destroy Gamindustri. No, no. This is just a story for a child that lives as a guild member in Gamindustri, so I want to focus on the side character first before meeting with the main cast. Just like the one that has a beam skill at the end of this chapter, can you guess who?
